I've driven past here numerous times and finally got the chance to come in. It's an old house scattered with quaintly decorated rooms. You order at the register, grab your number, and roam around until you find a nook that suits you. We ordered a lavender honey latte, chai, crepe and some fantastic protein bites from the cooler. Everything was wonderful! Definitely a cute place to catch up with a friend! I did notice a parking lot catty-corner to it reserved for them, enter from the side street across from the antique mall.

📍The Coffee House at Second and Bridge in downtown Franklin is one of the most beautiful shops we've ever visited. Everything about it- from the front porch swing to the squeaky hardwood floors is absolutely stunning. Even the bathroom is beautiful. I'm obsessed with beautiful porches and Tennessee is filled with them. I wish it would've been nice enough to sit outside because I wanted to sit on that beautiful red swing so bad. There was a ton of rain last night and all the outdoor furniture was wet, or else I would've been on that swing in a heartbeat. We spent over 3 hours here. When we first arrived there were only a handful of people and plenty of spots to relax and when we left there wasn't an empty seat anywhere. There is a lot of outdoor space and we're hoping to go back at least once more before we leave. Downtown Franklin is one of the prettiest cities we've ever visited. ❤️

Sunday, Mother’s Day, 2025 The girl that took my order couldn’t explain to me when I could enter my phone number for reward points and, instead, just looked at me like I was out of my mind. All she had to do was tell me it happens at the end after I paid (which I figured out). It would have been simple enough for her to let me know that. Then, I stared back at her waiting (after I paid) and she said, “Oh the receipt paper isn’t working right now.” I was just waiting for her to give me my coffee and wasn’t even interested in getting a receipt. She seemed to have forgotten in a mere 60 seconds or less that I had even ordered coffee. I asked her if she can add cream or do I add it and she said “It should be out there.” So I guess it was up to me to figure out where it was…. I didn’t see it because she had so many people backed up to order flowing into one of the rooms. On a technical coffee note: Since I was asking about cream at all she should have instinctively asked if I wanted some room left in my cup (or just gone ahead and done that) — but she didn’t. Several of the rooms were more than a little warm for a then 71 degree morning. I heard a couple of parties complaining about it that validated it was not just me. Seems like they could get better airflow going in the rooms for little expense. Ever heard of ceiling fans? Several people just in the room I was in got up to inquire because their food never came. I also had to ask about mine as well as I had hit the 33 minute mark and had received nothing. I walked up to where there were 3 girls in the coffee preparation area behind the less-than-friendly-customer-oriented-high-wall and attempted to get their attention. They were having the best time eating something and laughing and doing everything other than actually working. Once I got one of the girls’ attention she went back to check. I told her on her way that I am in the next adjoining room and to let me know. 5 minutes elapsed and she never let me know. So, again, I went up to the counter where they didn’t appear to be heads-down deep in work, but instead, were laughing as they seemed to be working on a particular customer’s drink and had spilled it or something (not quite sure…). I asked the girl what she found out and she said “They are working on it.” So no ETA, apology or anything. I sat back down at one of the non-bussed dirty tables and waited for my food once more. Finally, I got my food and it was awesome. So, to summarize (tl;dr): Seems like the front end help is too young and/or poorly trained to provide even an acceptable experience at this location. The food has always been excellent every time I have ever visited. I appreciate the free provided parking diagonally across the street. 🤓

Google
The cutest little coffee shop for both locals and those visiting. We love this little spot in downtown Franklin and has great indoor and outdoor seating. Love their drip hazelnut coffee ☕️, croissants and Nutella crepes are delicious. Definitely stop by if in the area.

Google
Loved it! It felt like stepping into someone's home (which it probably was at some point), and every room felt slightly different. The coffee was amazing, and you can also have a good bite to eat. Definitely check it out when you find yourself in Franklin!

Google
What a quaint and lovely coffee shop. I have been twice and how i have enjoyed myself so much. Once in the fall time and their board was Gilmore girl inspired and it brought me great joy. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere screams relax and pull up a chair and make a new friend.

Google
Great staff and great coffee! They also roast their own beans so you get super fresh and delicious coffee. Thank you from your friends as ETSC!

Google
The Coffee House at Second and Bridge will always hold a special place in my heart because this is where my sweet family hosted my Bridal Shower. We rented the front room & it was the sweetest time spent with family and friends. The ambience was so peaceful & the coffee was delicious. It was spacious enough to host 12 of us around the table & my heart was so full! I highly recommend this sweet space not just for a coffee break but also for your intimate event! Thank you!

Yelp
Ordered a pumpkin latte and it was delicious. Loved the location. Atmosphere is like going to your family's reunion.

Yelp
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE this place! I've gone 3+ times now and have been telling all my coworkers who also live in the Franklin area to go check it out. Their espresso is pretty good and that's coming from a coffee snob, it's not overly bitter and has more smooth notes which is great. Can be busy but they have lots of seating and a few breakfast items. It's a very chill more laid back coffee house so don't think it'll be a quick in and out if you visit. But it's definitely worth taking your time here! The inside is also very cute

Yelp
Still a favorite stop. My new go to items are the Cuban coffee, hot. Everything you wanted in a coffee even if you didn't know it. Paired with the Funky Monkey and I don't need anything else till dinner. Sometimes crowded but we can usually find a spot. Park north of shop where there is space vs closer to town which can be difficult

Yelp
Great place for a party/ group of people! Food and drinks are delicious. Service was quick and great prices!

Yelp
Such a sweet place for breakfast in downtown Franklin! I loved the sweet crepe and my husband loved the savory. Their coffee was delicious too! Definitely recommend sitting outside on their beautiful patio. We will be back!

Yelp
Had a great experience at The Coffee House at Second and Bridge. The medium roast drip coffee has a bold smooth flavor, and the vanilla latte was enjoyable as well. As for food, we enjoyed the breakfast bagel sandwich, the breakfast burrito, and the chocolate muffin. The breakfast burrito was rather substantial in size and could be enough for two people depending on hunger levels. The chocolate muffin was baked to perfection with a crunchy outside and fluffy, soft inside. The decor of the place is very pleasing with each room having a different vibe (including the bathrooms). The only reason for not giving 5 stars is difficulty finding an outlet which could make it hard to do work here. Other than that I 100% recommend The Coffee House at Second and Bridge.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning. The line was quite long and took about 10 mins. We were able to located a table for 3. I tried the Cuban latte (brown sugar and cinnamon) with almond milk, and it was very good. Very smooth. I also tried their holiday gingerbread crepe, which was excellent. The space is very tight, so the line becomes very uncomfortable, as there are people trying to maneuver about and squeeze through. Service was friendly.

Yelp
10/10 stopover and worth the drive from Nashville! They were so swamped on Taylor swift weekend but handled it with ease (god bless the servers that weekend honestly). The place is so cute - an old house turned coffee shop with unique dining rooms, a gorgeous outdoor yard, and lots of seating for small groups or couples. I loved sitting on the porch swing. Their coffee is delicious - the Cubano latte was rich and flavorful and I'm still thinking about it. The food I got was just okay, but I saw some amazing looking crepes coming out of the kitchen and wish I had stayed.

Yelp
Awesome coffee house! Maybe the best in town. It has a cool vibe, great service, and consistently good.

Yelp
chicken and spinach crepe: 10/10 YUMMM. what a great crepe. i cannot recommend the chicken and spinach crepe enough it was so good. the coffee was good also. did homework in here super cute inside! lots of seating and different rooms because it's in a house. individual bathrooms here also this is downtown franklin so there's lots of parking around the area but their actual lot is very small but they do have to go spaces for pick up

Yelp
Such a cute coffee house! Came for our first visit with my 7th grader and we ordered drinks and food and set up for a little homework session on a Sunday morning. You need to wander through the rooms to find the coffee counter and then later to find a seat, so I recommend one person to order and the other to scout a spot. On my wishlist - free or discounted coffee refills.

Yelp
I come here probably 2-3 times per month for the chicken salad sandwich and have been coming for yearssss, as per my first review. Everyone is so lovely and I adore the chicken salad but this time (the first time) we are discussing a $2 up-charge to have the chicken salad sandwich on a plain bagel, which would make it a $13 sandwich with some chips and a pickle. I definitely understand the constraints of rising business costs so I don't know how frequent I'll be inviting guests back for once a pretty regular spot for me! I think I should be grateful for the mistakes that all my previous orders without the up-charge. I did ask for a quick price check on a bagel and a scoop of chicken salad which just runs $10, so that's how I'll order for the future, good to know. The sandwich with white bread is definitely not the same.

Yelp
This place is the cutest lil coffee house I've seen in a while, this place is in Franklin TN, which I love! I use to live in Seattle so being in a place like this was very much like being in Seattle again! There is a mural type painting on the wall that says " Welcome Home" which was very comforting and true, for me anyway! Staff was absolutely awesome, my hubs ordered a drip coffee but he tasted mine and wanted something different and he offered to pay the difference but the staff was not having it and gave him the coffee at no extra cost We had Crepes!!! I had "The Kate" it was delicious!! The hubs had "strawberry and Nutella "! For coffee I had the mocha latte! Will definitely be our new special spot for breakfast and coffee!

Yelp
it was delicious pancake and waffle!! especially crepes is craaaaaaazy!!! every menu was perfect!!

Yelp
This is such a cute place and great spot to work or gather with friends! I love stopping by any time I'm in town. Their coffee is exceptional, and their food is top notch. The service cannot be beat. I highly recommend visiting during the holiday season. It's like walking through a Hallmark movie. They've recently started making their own coffee beans like the ones pictured below. Soooo good!
google avatar

Rocio F.

Yelp
Honestly coffee was good, but waiting 7 minutes to order and 20 minutes for the coffee (timed it) ruined the whole experience. I feel like if they know they are backed up more than 10 minutes they should let their customers know out of courtesy. Everyone was pissed off while waiting.

Yelp
Great customer service! Very cute holiday specials-adorable rooms to eat in and the food is beautiful and delicious!

Yelp
So cute. Great beverages. Smiling service. Fair pricing. Adorable small town shop. Loved it will be back

Yelp
So, so good. The crepes are fresh and yummy. I think everything on the menu would be awesome. The service was amazing and the ambiance soothing

Yelp
We absolutely adore this quaint coffee house in the historic district of Franklin. The chicken and spinach crepe is delicious and the new blueberry latte is a sip of heaven. Great patio to enjoy sunny mornings with your four-footed friends then walk through town. We take all of our visiting family and friends there as a must-do... even the foodies in our crew agree this is a fabulous find.

Yelp
So quaint. Great food. Friendly staff, just a little off main Local fav. A must for locals!

Yelp
Second and Bridge is my favorite coffee shop in Downtown Franklin. The coffee shop is located in a small old house with a nice quaint vibe and ample seating. The service is excellent and the baristas greet you with a smile every time. They always have an interesting selection of both basic and seasonal drinks, all of which are delicious, my current summer favorite being the lavender lemonade. Along with coffee, they also have a small pastry selection and a crepe menu. I haven't tried any of the crepes yet, but they do make great chocolate chip cookie.

Yelp
Quaint coffee shop situated in a historic home off of Franklin Street. Indoor and ample outdoor seating gave a fabulous versatility; choose the pleasant views and sounds of the town or the colonial/farmhouse decorated interior with plenty of space for the family or the laptop. I quickly found a charming outdoor space with a plug to use. The coffee is superb, quickly prepared, and responsibly packaged. My brother had a delicious peach iced tea which he enjoyed, voluntarily proclaiming his enjoyment of the tea at least 4 times by my count. We also partook of the blueberry muffins. They were scrumptious and moist. The menu looked appetizing but I had already eaten breakfast before my trip to Franklin. Who could turn down a blueberry muffin to enjoy with your coffee, though! The service was excellent and I'd come back here anytime I'm traveling through Franklin. I'm certain you'd enjoy it as much as I did!

Melissa M.

Yelp
My first time in TN and staying in Franklin Cool Springs. Came across this super charming brunch/coffee place. The Toffee Latte iced was delicious!!! Service was great! Food looked great too, just had already had breakfast. Will definitely be back when I'm in town. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
My daughter and I are visitors to Franklin and we stumbled on the Coffee House while browsing all the antique places in the area. What a treasure! The coffee was so good we made a point to go back a few days later. It's a gorgeous old home converted into a great place with awesome character. Every room feels homey, and we didn't want to leave when we were done eating. Seating outside is cute (photo ops). Service was awesome.

Yelp
Truly worth the drive from Nashville. One of the coolest spots I've seen since moving here two years ago. Incredibly friendly service, delicious iced coffee drinks (the cold foam is spectacular), and a historic location.
google avatar

Yelp
this place is so cute and so delicious!! all of their food options are so yummy. it can get busy at times so it can get very crowded and hard to find seating, but that just goes to show how great this place is!! the coffee here is so good, and it's located inside a little house in downtown franklin, so it has a very homey vibe! great place for studying or catching up with friends. love it!

Yelp
Spent the day in Franklin and decided to get a midday coffee pick me up. Came into the coffee house and was immediately in love with the building, decorations and charm! Decided on a seasonal maple vanilla latte with oat milk and a cookie. My friends ordered various lattes and we all loved them. It was absolutely delicious! The employees working the counter and taking orders were super friendly and welcoming and we had a great chat with them. Definitely small town vibes, great places to sit inside and outside and lots of tasty drinks!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent coffee, and some pretty good food options. They do offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, along with some sandwiches, crepes, and salads. The coffee is excellent, prepared just right. I feel like the real highlight is the location, which is an actual house. It is called "The Coffee House" after all! After ordering you can meander through the rooms of the house where there are various seating areas available, including small tables, group tables, comfy chairs, and more. There are even some seats outside, including on the porch out front. Because of the vibe this is a super comfortable place to just hang out with great coffee and perhaps some food. Definitely worth a visit, and worth spending some time savoring the great vibe.

Yelp
Very cute spot, super friendly baristas, spacious and bright. This local spot is a great escape from the heat, there's WiFi, AC, food, coffee, etc. my latte was lackluster, but the ambiance definitely made up for it.
google avatar

Seth H.

Yelp
Great coffee, great food, killer ambience. A great place to go downtown Franklin with friends. Lots of selection and a great staff as well.
google avatar

Yelp
I was visiting from out of town and needed a place to work for a few hours each day. The atmosphere was really cute and had lots of rooms with different vibes. Everyone was very friendly and warm. The drinks were decent, and the food was okay--a bit bland and pricey. But I definitely recommend coming here for coffee and hanging out / working. I actually came back a second day after visiting the other coffee shops in the area and feeling like this spot was way better to work from!

Deborah W.

Yelp
Excellent service, wait time, food tasty Respectfully suggestion repainting parking arrows and In-side parking fine $250.00 for bricking drive!
google avatar

Yelp
Great local spot in Franklin to get off of the Main Street. Gorgeous outdoor patio space that has some umbrellas. Very peaceful. I was happily surprised they had more to offer than just coffee and pastries so that was a plus!
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
Fantastic hand crafted coffee. The cold brewed brown sugar latte was amazing. Their pastries were very good too. The coffee house is spacious, with lots of places to read or talk while you drink your coffee - both inside and out. The staff was friendly and got my order out quickly. If you love coffee you'll want to check out the coffee house on your next visit to Franklin.
google avatar

Maddie H.

Yelp
I always love a restaurant/bar that has made its home in an old house. The Coffee House is just that--a coffee shop inside of a cute house. There are various rooms with bistro tables/chairs and comfy places to sit. There's also a very pretty outdoor spot to enjoy a beverage and/or treat. The employees are really nice and I didn't have to wait too long for my coffee either. I enjoyed the lavender latte I got and would for sure try the food too. Parking is street parking, wherever you find available. A must if you need a coffee break in Franklin!
google avatar

Mari B.

Yelp
First time here and such a great breakfast place! The decor is cute and they offer a lot of seating options inside and few outside. Staff was nice and way to order. It was a busy morning but wait wasn't that long. We ordered an iced coffee and Cuban. Iced coffee was great and Cuban was good (not traditional), but still good. Crepe was really good, fruit it came with was Meh and should have stuck with the salad they provide. The Avocado toast was good and filling. Banana bread/cake was delicious (highly recommend). Great experience and will be back!
google avatar

Richard K.

Yelp
Quaint venue and allows reservations for a larger group- 1st hour free. Food is good and their maple salad is delicious so I bought a bottle to take home. Very friendly, as well. We frequent this place.

Jacob T.

Yelp
Wyatt is a great chef. Great cook. Great listener. Great leader. I believe he is the next greatest chef at your crepe establishment. I am his brother and I can just envision him have a little ratatouille in his hat for crepes.

Yelp
(4 out of 5 stars) Let's dive into the culinary delight that awaited me - the salmon and capers crepe. This dish was a harmonious blend of savory flavors, with the delicate salmon perfectly complemented by the zingy capers. The crepe itself was impeccably cooked, boasting a soft, yet slightly crisp texture. To accompany my culinary snack, I opted for a matcha latte, but with an icy twist. The iced matcha latte was a refreshing and invigorating treat on this warm day. The smooth, vibrant green matcha combined with the creamy milk resulted in a balanced and satisfying sip. We also ventured into the realm of oat milk lattes and decided on the iced oat milk latte. The rich, velvety oat milk lent a subtle sweetness to the espresso, creating a velvety symphony of flavors. It was good. Nestled on a relaxing Sunday afternoon, I found myself in the company of numerous girls elegantly dressed for afternoon tea. The atmosphere was cozy and hip, with different rooms featuring unique themes and varying noise levels. It was a breath of fresh air to be able to choose a space that had alternatives for my mood and level of serenity.

Yelp
What a fantastic little place in Franklin. We adore Merridees and go there often, but this place is going to make breakfast in Franklin a very tough choice now! The house is pretty tight inside with a good amount of seating, but it was so packed the day we went (normally a good sign its got good food) we ended up sitting outside in the cold. Prices are very reasonable for the area and could be seen as a bit on the cheaper side. The service was very fast for how busy it was and we got 3 meals within about 15 minutes. The lady brought our food out and wishes us a blessed day which I thought was very nice of her. The food was the star though. I tried the Nutella & strawberry crepe and a lemon poppyseed muffin. Both items were amazing and I will probably get them again for my sweet tooth. My Fiancée had the chicken & spinach crepe and I was begging for more of it haha. Overall, I'm torn between coming here and Merridees every weekend... so we will probably just switch every other weekend. Give this place a shot and you wont be disappointed.

Yelp
The cutest place! Environment is fantastic. So charming and warm. Good and beverages are superb. Staff is lovely. I could live here!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Legendary savory crepes lived up to the hype. I also love their chai tea latte. This little house-turned-coffeeshop is adorable. There are multiple rooms to hide away and feel cozy and comfortable. The decor is unique everywhere you look. Today we sat in the sunroom during golden hour and we had it all to ourselves. This would be a great place to come to use their wifi and get some work done. Such a lovely setting, not to mention the delicious food and drink options. I HIGHLY recommend their crepes!!!
google avatar

Yelp
This place was awesome. Very cool place to grab a coffee and chill. You can grab a comfy chair inside or sit on a porch swing. The staff was awesome and the prices were very reasonable. 2 thumbs up for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
Great coffee spot in the heart of Franklin. Fun fact They do put cinnamon in their Cubans. So a crisis was adverted they quickly made me a new drink and apologized. Fast friendly service- the chocolate chip cooks are also very tasty!
google avatar

Al Z.

Yelp
The ladies here might do well to remember that they are down the street from a fairly large local hotel, and that the customers they encounter may NOT fully aware of or compliant with the ways that things are done in that particular establishment, and thus the ladies might refrain from passing their attitudes of contempt/judgement/disapproval onto the backs of weary travelers who may not appreciate being faced with that kind of performance anxiety with their morning beverage. For me, I would not return to face that kind of environment of casual hostility even if the food were free, I found it so unpleasant. I wish I could take back the tip I left. Food was ok, not remarkable one way or the other.
google avatar

Safia S.

Yelp
Grabbed breakfast here and the crepe didn't disappoint. I got the cheese crepe and it was perfectly cooked--savory with a mild hint of sweetness. My raspberry mocha was a tad disappointing as it tastes neither of raspberry nor mocha. However the wonderful barista was quick to make it a bit more to my liking. It was crowded on a Friday morning so I can't imagine how hard it would be to find a dear on a weekend. I'll definitely be back
google avatar

Yelp
This is a quaint little coffee house and restaurant in the Heart of Franklin just off the square. It has cute little themed rooms and the food is wonderful. Came by here with a friend for some drinks and a parfait...YUMMO!

Yelp
What a find!! Coming from the Portland area, I wasn't expecting ambiance, or even decent coffee but I got both!! I had the matcha latte with lavender syrup...
