Good matcha latte and atmosphere!! 5/5 soy milk available, all good vibes and great music with perfect volume (not too loud and still be able to socialise in the coffee shop) love the aesthetic the latte art.

One of the Easily one of Camden’s hidden gems. Tiny, no-frills, and full of character. The owner’s got that rare mix of chill and charm like walking into a friend’s place who actually knows how to make great coffee.

Nice coffee. Has some benches outside. The weather was perfect. Ordered an iced oat milk latte. The barista was really friendly.

Literally, I cannot rave about this coffee shop enough. I’ve been coming for quite a few years and Maria the owner is absolutely delightful and puts her heart and soul into The Coffee Jar. It’s literally like a little Members club everyone knows each other it’s incredibly friendly. The coffee is the best coffee I’ve ever had. Highly recommend

Google
Super cute little coffee shop, just a couple of minutes walk from Camden Town tube station. I opted for an Oat Latte - which was excellent, and I was seriously tempted by their yummy looking selection of cakes & biscuits too! The coffee shop itself is tiny, but there is some seating inside and outside. Because the weather was so hot when I visited, I decided to sit outside in the shade and enjoy my coffee. Lovely little coffee shop, and really sweet staff too. Definitely worth visiting.

Google
Friendliest cafe in camden, great coffee ( most important) delicious food & opens early, what a find. Most cafes seem to be mediocre and soulless, sitting outside here for a quick satisfying coffee is an absolute joy! Thank you for being here ♥️

Google
I love Coffee Jar! They have the best coffee in Camden, and is a warm and friendly environment to relax in, friendly staff and regulars too! love the christmas decorations ☺️

Yelp
Excellent coffee refuge near a super touristy Camden market. The baristas are very friendly as well.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best lattes I've ever had...they also have a bunch of pastries and small breakfast items including sandwiches, croissants, breads, cakes, and cookies. The baristas are soooo incredibly friendly which just adds to the great atmosphere of the place. The shop is very small so when it's busy, you'll have to take away. There is a nice little bench outside though.

Yelp
A very tiny place but with friendly staff ( and not much sitting unfortunately ) This place is nice to grab a delicious coffee on your way for Camden town market ( or anywhere else !) I took a cappucino, it was really good with nice latte art on the top !

Yelp
Teeny, Tiny spot(maybe 12 stools inside and half a dozen outside. Perfect coffee, fresh pastries, efficient and friendly service.

Yelp
After a day at the zoo and Camden market, this is a cute little coffee shop to chill for a bit. I've been to my fair share of independent coffee shops around the globe and quite liked the coffee here. The shop is very small with limited seats, but they have free wifi if you ask for the password. They do iced coffee as well as regular ones plus a selection of treats and the staff were polite and friendly. The downside is that it's tiny and had no toilet, so you would have to try sneak into somewhere else. Also, its on the loud site so not exactly a place to sit for a long time Starbucks style. Overall, a cute little independent coffee shop not too far off from Camden Market.

Yelp
Very kind service from the lovely owner. Very tiny spot for my family of 5 but we were accommodated nicely. Local art for sale on the walls. The coffee and treats were delicious.

Yelp
This place is the epitome of a cute coffee shop, I just wish it was a bit bigger! The menu had stuff from pastries to filled croissants to coffee. I got there early, as I planned to get work done there. I was glad I came when I did, around 9 am, because that meant I got a seat. From the moment I sat down the place was constantly full or overflowing with people--and for good reason! The flow of people was perfect for me as I love doing work with some noise. My croissant filled with cheese and tomato was delicious. My americano was smooth the entire time. My cookie that I took to go at the end was just the sweetness I needed. Nothing was bad!

Yelp
This is a quaint little coffee shop tucked on the road to Camden serving Monmouth coffee, pastries and sandwiches served on burnished tiles. The coffee is ace with the mocha not being overly sweet and nicely presented. Their brownie is also incredible - wonderful chocolate-y gooey-ness inside but with a flakier top layer. Easily one of the best I've had in London. My only gripe is the seating space although they have made the most out of the tiny area they have to create a warm, cozy vibe. If you come on weekends, be prepared to wait in line and have your coffee to go.

Yelp
Really tiny coffee shop around kings cross area. Had a black americano and I really like it! I didn't add any sugar, not even milk (usually I prefer to have some half and half), but my coffee this morning was not sour but smooth and rich. Aside from the drink I had a croissant. It's just... a croissant. It wasn't warmed up so it tastes a little bit sad. I kind of understand though, because the space is so tiny, it wouldn't be that feasible to have an oven anyways. Overall it satisfied my morning coffee craving and people watching was fun if you sit by the window!

Yelp
Great service! Nice people! Absolutely outstanding coffee and on-the-side things to go along with it. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Good flat white and the camomile tea was good too. Looks like they get their coffee stock from the Camden Coffee Shop round the corner as the bags of coffee (same packaging) on display looks like it came straight from there, and when you walk in have the same aroma. The banana bread was also good. Shame the place is tiny though, and hardly any standing room either, to wait to be served. Disappointed when overcharged, and was given the lame excuse that the till does not know whether it was take away or not! Although they did apologise.

Yelp
Started working in nearby Mornington Cres recently. Deprived of good cover aside from Leyas which can at times be inconsistent. Then I discovered The Coffee Jar. Super pleased. Pretty good long blacks. And also iced coffee . They use Monmouth beans. It's only a tiny shop though, so good luck trying to get a seat.

Yelp
On my way from Camden Town to Primrose Hill, I noticed this nice little coffee shop on Parkway. I lived in the area about two years ago and I always missed a good coffee shop. It seems the situation gets better, with The Coffee Jar I now know two decent coffee places near Camden Town. The Coffee Jar is a light place with very friendly staff, tasty strong Monmouth coffee and delicious food. I am sure that I will be back soon.

Yelp
It's just beside the camden main road and very tiny coffee shop. Lots of cakes and pastries to choose from. Banana cake served with yogurt is absolutely awesome. I took the cappuchino and its simply good coffee!

Yelp
Dropped by for a soy latte and fruit baguettes. They were delicious! Especially the fruit baguettes; they were such a steal! Only gripe is that they don't have a lot of seating - otherwise they'd be five stars.

Yelp
I found The Coffee Jar to be a very warm and welcoming environment. The team are polite and attentive, ensuring that every possible effort was made for a nice experience. The peppermint tea was delicious as was the orange juice. Great location situated just off Regents Park. A nice little hidden gem! Definitely recommend this little cafe!

Yelp
I loved this little place! Really cute coffee shop. Only enough space to seat 10 people max but if you're lucky enough to grab a seat then it's worth staying. They have a good selection of hot drinks. I had a cappuccino which came in a lovely cup and saucer. The coffee was really nice and came beautifully presented. They also have a selection of local art on display which is also up for purchase. Having a sweet tooth I also had a double chocolate cookie. It was full of flavour - but it was a large soft cookie not a crunchy one if that's what you're into! I would definitely go there again to grab a quick drink - but due to the size it's probably not a place to stay and hang out with friends for a long time.

Yelp
It's a nice place and the coffee is good. Cookies are a little dry though, probably from the day before. It's also very small and cozy inside.

Yelp
Very nice little coffee shop. Cashier was very friendly and helpful. She also gave really good recommendations. I had an iced latte and it was very refreshing.

Yelp
A tiny little gem, just hidden off Regents Park. Great coffee, good music and an ample selection of cakes and pastries. The lady here was really welcoming too. Great to support these little businesses so I'll definitely be back

Alex T.

Yelp
Great coffee and great pastries with a nice warm vibe. The only downside would be the size as it's quite cramped with very little seating anywhere, even outside.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop off the main road in Camden. It has great cookies and also a good selection of healthy sounding sandwiches (avocado and so). The price for a cappuccino is ok and also they serve it in a beautiful mug if you take it to stay. Great taste. The service was great too, we arrived short before closing and got still served patiently.

Yelp
Very friendly staff and amazing Monmouth coffee. The sponge cake is to die for. Cosy inside with a good view of the Dublin Castle

Yelp
Suprisingly there just isnt that much great coffee in Camden. Thank god for Coffee Jar. The owner is awesome and super friendly AND they consistently make great coffee. The food selection is simple and good quality. The flat white here is as good as anywhere.

Yelp
Charming little cafe with a great coffee, cakes and service. A perfect place to nip in to on lazy sunday afternoon in Camden

Yelp
My favourite coffee shop in Camden. Coffee is good generally, iced coffee is really good in the summer, and mint hot chocolate is really good too. Baked goods are all delicious and look delicious. Very little seating space so not great if you want to sit at busy times ... queues run out the door on weekends.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick tea on the go and it was perfect. Great place to stop in for a quick coffee or tea/ snack on the go. I didn't try the food but everything looked fresh and delicious and I dug the variety. A few seats too if you're not on the go. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
This is a lovely, tiny, family-run artisan coffee shop just around the corner from Regent's park. The coffee is absolutely outstanding, and made with loving care. The cakes and snacks are also marvelous. Although the place is _very_ small, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. It's not the kind of place you can plan on lounging away a leisurely afternoon, as the space and seating does not really allow for it. But for a quick and delicious break, a stop-in on the way to the park, or a breather from the hustle and bustle of Camden Town, you would be hard-pressed to do better.
google avatar

Yelp
Patronising and slow baristas who see it necessary to spend a full minute weighing up coffee in the portafilter for a fucking espresso. It's not that hard, you're not doing a controlled single origin pourover, get over yourself.
google avatar

Stefan H.

Yelp
Best espresso in Camden (Monmouth coffee) and the sandwiches are excellent. The selection of mostly home made cakes and cookies change regularly. Only a few seats but this gives the cafe its warm atmosphere (and there's seating outside for summer days).

Darron D.

Yelp
Great place with fantastic coffee! Recommend independent places such as The Coffee Jar because they provide top quality, well-made java! How coffee should be, unlike what you get from large coffee chains.

Qype User (gambit…)

Yelp
really nice coffee place, makes a change from the big chains. has homely feel with rustic furniture. love these new places that bring camden back up to cool league
