We decided to stop here after reading some good reviews online. The place was quite busy, so we placed our order and waited patiently with the kids at our table.
After about 40 minutes, nothing had arrived and the cafe was due to close in just 20 minutes. When I went to check at the counter, I was shocked to find that they had completely lost track of our order. No record of our table number, which we were flaunting at our table till that point. I was still understanding at this point, mistakes happen, but things quickly went downhill.
The staff turned rude and dismissive, and I had to show proof of payment from my bank app before they even believed I’d paid. It felt like they thought I was trying to get a free meal.
While other diners continued eating inside, we were asked to wait outside. When our food finally came in, it was completely messed up.
Maybe we were just unlucky that day, but for us, this ended up being the worst restaurant experience of our entire trip.
