The presentation was phenomenal, if your guide has a beard and is balding it's going to be great. His humour was unmatched (funny guy) You should buy tickets in advance, they offer english tours too. The length of the tour could be increased though. If you come from far away you may struggle with the history / geography but the funny guy explains it well and unbiased. He knows everything from the history of the bunker, very fun and followable. 10/10 would recommend

A nuclear shelter located under a hotel. A very convenient location for tourists. Apparently there is another one further out which is larger and better. It was interesting but the guide was hard to understand and talked very fast. He was asked to talk slowly but continued to talk fast. Tour has to be booked online which I did but when I arrived they bumped my time to two hours later.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Prague. The young woman who did our tour was very enthusiastic and we got an inside look into the Czech perspective of the cold war and life under communism. There were many artifacts and being in a real bunker made it easier to imagine what life was like back then!

A highlight of my visit. The tour guide Ester was very informative and entertaining in her delivery. The history of the location and its links to the wider history of the cold war were fascinating. Make sure you book in advance as it is worth the effort to find and explore a piece of history.

Incredible, especially for a history buff such as myself. It is a guided tour of the bunker underneath the Jalta hotel constructed during the communist era of Czechoslovakia. The highlight of the experience absolutely has to be our tour guide, Stanislav. He was informative and very knowledgeable, answering any questions people had. Most of all he was witty and made what would otherwise be dull (according to my friends) aspects of history interesting. As the bunker is underneath the hotel we struggled to find the entrance at first, though I do not believe that the attraction's rating should suffer for this as this was our own incompetence. Turns out it was quite clearly signposted by the hotel entrance. Being supposedly learned university students we should have spotted it. Booking is extremely easy, it is done online but you pay in person. We did not have to wait long for our tour as others have suggested. My only gripe is that you don't get to see the whole bunker as the largest parts of it are in use by the hotel itself, but as we already knew this before paying this attraction absolutely deserves 5 stars. Miluji tě Stanislav!

Make reservations, it is a must. 12 people are only allowed, so it gets friendly. We had a great group, everyone had a good time. The whole experience is for people that have an interest in that chapter of history. What put the icing on the cake, was the tour guide. I wish I could remember her name, she was perfect. She took a boring and troubled time and made you want to hear every detail.

Absolutely worth a visit! The guide was brilliant and made history come alive - not just for history related to the bunker and the Cold War, but also Czech history pre-WWII to current. He was a college student and his deep knowledge coupled with engaging delivery made 90+ minutes fly by. We could have stayed longer! A great example where people, moreso than an exhibit*, enable you to connect with a country and its history . *the bunker alone is great!

Amazing experience! Our guide, Jakob, was full of knowledge about Cold War Czechoslovakia and the hidden history of this bunker and the hotel above. Some fantastic stories, first rate artefacts and the opportunity to get hands on meant that there was something for the die hard Cold War nerd as well as for those with more of a passing interest in the topic. Well worth the entry fee!
