The Collector (The Hague, South Holland) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In the Haagsche Bluf district, The Collector builds its character through small, deliberate details. Vintage model cars, rubber ducks, cassette tapes, marbles, each space has its own set of curiosities. The 57 rooms include marble bathrooms, gold accents, and custom portraits assembled from objects you'd never expect to find in a frame. The décor including vintage artifacts give the interiors a sense of style that’s more fun than formal. Downstairs, a tiny flower shop greets guests at the door, a small touch that sets the tone for everything that follows." - Tablet Hotels

Lovely modern hotel in a great area. Clean, well-kept contemporary vintage style rooms. Bed was clean and comfortable and amenities were lovely, such as the walk-in rainforest shower. Breakfast was also lovely, small buffet with well-prepared food (scrambled egg, bacon, toast, rolls, pastries, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, cheese ans cold cuts and good coffee). Staff were friendly and helpful and recommended a nice place for dinner. We had a G+T at the quiet little hotel bar and enjoyed out whole time. We will be back!

Set around a charming inner courtyard, this hotel feels like a quiet haven in the city. The décor mixes contemporary style with vintage details, and everything was impeccably clean. The bed was cozy, and the walk-in shower was powerful and refreshing. Staff were friendly and happy to share recommendations for places to eat nearby.

I had a wonderful stay at The Collector Hotel. Everything was absolutely spotless and well-organized. The room was stylish and comfortable, the location perfect, and the atmosphere welcoming. What stood out most was the excellent service: any small issue I had was handled immediately and with care. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Highly recommended – I would definitely stay here again!

I had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay at The Collector. The hotel's location is truly exceptional, offering convenient access to key attractions while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. Although the property experiences a good number of guests, it remains impeccably clean and well-maintained throughout. My room was comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, featuring all the essential amenities to ensure a pleasant and hassle-free stay. The breakfast service was particularly impressive, offering a wide variety of options to cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences. The staff deserve special mention for their warm and welcoming demeanor, seamlessly combining cheerful hospitality with a keen attention to detail. Their professionalism greatly enhanced the overall experience. In summary, my stay at The Collector was highly satisfying, and I would be delighted to return should I find myself in the Hague again.

The staff and hotel couldn't have been more amazing. Initially we had booked a room in the Ibis Styles hotel, a few streets over, because we were expecting a standard quality, unfortunately when arriving there and seeing (and smelling) their room, we decided to look around for a different hotel. We found the Collector hotel, and asked them to reserve a room for us while we filed for a refund at the Ibis Styles. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They let us pick between the remaining available rooms. The ambiance in the room was great. The temperatures were easily controlled even on some of the likely warmest days in the Netherlands. If there would be anything to address, it would be that our room didn't have drapes, but window blinds that weren't able to completely keep out all light, which was a bit inconvenient just after summer solstice. Upon departure, we also received a small goodie bag with snacks that turned out amazing to have on hand on the plane home. Excellent experience. Will definitely return next time we visit the Hague.

Perfect stay! Had the privilege to book a great room in the center of Den Haag for my wedding night. Slap in the middle of the center with walking distance to our chosen restaurant and cocktail bar. Staff are incredibly friendly and the breakfast was diverse! Favorite part of the stay was the bath and the small Collector Trinkets in every corner.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff was super friendly, particularly Lucy. The hotel is beautifully styled but doesn't feel pompous. We were very welcome with our 3 year old. We had breakfast on the last morning which was a great variety and a chef who made a variety of fresh egg dishes or pancakes to order. I went to a yoga class in the gym across the courtyard which was very relaxing. On checkout we work given a lovely goody bag incl. a discount for our next stay. It is so close to the main Square we were a little worried when we arrived but it's tucked out of the way so very quiet. Our room was on the third floor facing the Courtyard which meant very little noise for a Friday and Saturday night in the city. When we come back I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The property has a charming and slightly quirky character that adds to its unique appeal, making the experience all the more enjoyable.||||The art and decor are clearly a focal point, but rather than overwhelming, they enhance the atmosphere beautifully. Our room was not only stylish and fun but also incredibly comfortable—a space we genuinely looked forward to returning to after a day of exploring.||||The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While breakfast wasn’t the most extensive, it offered everything we needed and more. The hotel’s location is also excellent, making it a great base for discovering the city.||||I’d highly recommend staying here!
