The Collector Hotel

This hotel does everything right. It's located in a courtyard so very quiet. The cafe is cozy and inviting; we had tea and cake there and both were delicious. The rooms are very spacious, beautifully and originally decorated, with nice amenities. I had asked for a twin room with the beds separated, and I was happily surprised to see indeed 2 separated beds. The staff is outstanding, very professional, personal and friendly. There are nice treats in the lobby area and you can leave luggage before check-in time. My friend and I had a wonderful stay, thank you so much!

This hotel is fantastic! The position is optimal to reach most things. It’s in a lovely area bustling with restaurants, cocktail bars, fast food and shops (even a cool arcade). The staff is so polite and helpful and even gave us a thoughtful and generous goody bag with treats for our travel after our stay. That was a welcome surprise. The hotel room was gorgeous, artsy, clean and very comfortable! The only thing that lacked is that if you like teas you better bring your own because in Netherlands’ hotel they only have breakfast tea in the rooms. Even to go to the room they have art in the corridors. The little hand near the door is really quirky cool. We just loved our stay. Thanks!

The hotel is right in the centre of the shopping area and close to everything. You can walk from Central station in an easy 20 minuets although tram 17 does get you very close.You can walk around easily to most attractions & the trams are very good and cheap. Our room was nice but a little tired with comfortable bed & good shower. I think we had one of the smaller rooms so the layout was a little tight. A working plug in the basin would have been nice when shaving. There are lots of staff and they are all friendly & helpful. We ate breakfast twice which was a bit pricey at 19.50 Euros but it was fairly good. Usual buffet with eggs cooked by a chef there was also smoked Salmon. On our first day the breakfast room was really crowded and too busy to enjoy it. There was only one coffee machine that only had a choice of 2 coffees and only in small cups also not hot.Our second visit was much better with less people and queues.| The only really bad bit about this hotel is the noise. The hotel is in some narrow streets so it echos the sound. We were staying on the second floor and over the weekend so suffered a lot of singing & shouting up until 4.00 in the morning. I think this was all down to poor double glazing. If it was quieter I would have given it a 4.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed. Room was stylish, cozy and we could set up necessary temperature easily (I like when it is around 24C). Breakfast was delicious with a great choice. At the end we received a package with snacks as a complimentary gift, probably because of Christmas. I highly recommend this hotel!

Just stayed at this hotel and it really is very good. Staff are great, amenities and rooms are very comfortable. Parked close by and walked in (only a couple hundred metres). The only thing I would say is that if you are a light sleeper, like me, make sure you pack earplugs. Our room was right above a very busy pedestrian area.

We spent a nice long weekend in The Hague and stayed at The Collector hotel. The location is perfect, in the midst of the city. Only caveat: you can not get to the hotel by taxi, it's always a short walk through the pedestrian zone. That's a bit of an issue for pick-up, but manageable. Rooms are nice, clean and fairly new; very quiet. Breakfast is nice, but I would have appreciated a real espresso. They have a self-service coffee maker; coffee is ok, but could be improved. There is a La Marzocco machine at the bar, but it's only used for decaf coffee or soy milk capuch. At check-out, we got a large goodie bag for our journey, which was greatly appreciated. Overall a clear recommendation.

Superb boutique hotel in the centre of the city. Beautiful room, with deep subdued colours, exquisite decor and excellent bathroom. We had appointments so we didn’t eat at the hotel but a very pleasant dining and working area was busy but not noisy. Excellent service and attentive desk throughout our stay. Will be back. Great value for location, service and hotel ambiance.

We love this hotel. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful will an enticing buffet and made to order egg dishes and pancakes. The hotel is located in an area with lots of shops and restaurants. Most of the major attractions are within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not obsequious.
