The Collector (The Hague, South Holland) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In the Haagsche Bluf district, The Collector builds its character through small, deliberate details. Vintage model cars, rubber ducks, cassette tapes, marbles, each space has its own set of curiosities. The 57 rooms include marble bathrooms, gold accents, and custom portraits assembled from objects you'd never expect to find in a frame. The décor including vintage artifacts give the interiors a sense of style that’s more fun than formal. Downstairs, a tiny flower shop greets guests at the door, a small touch that sets the tone for everything that follows." - Tablet Hotels

Superb boutique hotel in the centre of the city. Beautiful room, with deep subdued colours, exquisite decor and excellent bathroom. We had appointments so we didn’t eat at the hotel but a very pleasant dining and working area was busy but not noisy. Excellent service and attentive desk throughout our stay. Will be back. Great value for location, service and hotel ambiance.

The location is fantastic, a beatiful small and quiet square in the middle of the hague close to "everything".Public parking only 3 min walk away! Rooms, are beautifully decorated, for a short stay big enough. Team is young, attentive and helpfull. Nice Collector details found everywhere. Breakfast serbs all needs and was tasty. Setting very pleasant among the collectables. Will surely come back!

Mixed review : the design is very good but : this'is a tourist hotel, not for business traveller. There's no small desk or table in any room. Nor quiet space to work a bit in the lobby. They charge everything extra like €15/extra hour to check out a 1200. So good spot if you are tourist. Not if you are in town for work

Super cute hotel located at the heart of the city for a very reasonable price. Personally think this is how boutique hotels around the world should be- character, cozy, yet with class. The room was spacious enough with clean bed and nice bathroom. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Very cute touch of card holder with essential information about the hotel, but also the city was exceptional. I go to about 30 hotels a year - for business and leisure - and I would say this one was one of the best for this year! As a person even thinking of moving to Den Haag at some point, I'll look forward to coming back to the hotel again till then!

Charming and friendly hotel that I look forward to returning to. Comfortable bed, great water pressure, beautifully furnished and yes, the bacon really is tasty.|It was easy to find and super convenient for my work trip as our chosen business restaurant was 1 minute away by foot. Even though it is super central, it is still quiet and felt safe as a solo female business traveller. Handy for nearby supermarkets and shopping too. I look forward to coming back and have already recommended this place to colleagues.

The hotel is perfectly located right in the city center, making it an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys shopping. You’ll find plenty of stores nearby, and if you’d like to explore further, you can easily hop on a tram to the Mall of the Netherlands — the largest shopping center in the country. Breakfast was included and more than satisfying, with a nice selection of eggs, salmon, pastries, coffee, and tea. Everything was fresh and tasty. We were lucky to get a duplex room with two floors: a cozy guest room on the first floor and the bedroom and bathroom on the second. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. If you love relaxing in a bathtub, this room will be a perfect fit. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for its unbeatable location! P.S.: At the checkout the hotel offers a little present - some sweets and snacks, it was very nice!

I don’t have enough time to explain all the reasons why this is an amazing hotel, but here’s the top 5:|1. Staff - this staff is incredibly hardworking, thoughtful, kind, and fun. No matter what I threw at them in a 2 week stay, they met or exceeded expectations.|2. Location- the location is perfect if you want to be able to easily explore Den Haag. Nestled in the middle of the shopping district, you can quickly pop over to multiple sites and experiences.|3. Decor- This place is so charming! Thoughtful pieces everywhere, some really functional shelving and items in the room I stayed in, something to notice and see everywhere.|4. Breakfast- really great bacon. As a Texan- enough said!|5. Toddler approved- I had to bring my toddler with me as a single mom, and from having a safe little courtyard for him to explore while I enjoyed an app or glass of wine after work, to a really cool set of couches and chairs in the lobby/breakfast area, he had the best time, which is essential when having to keep him entertained by caregiver while I worked.

Well located hotel within walking distance of transit and main attractions in the city. Rooms are comfortable and decent sized. Lobby area and outside area are quite pleasant. Staff is friendly and efficient. Couple things to mention- no conditioner or hand lotion in rooms. No fridge in the room- there is a « cooler » but it’s room temperature.
