The College Green Hotel, Autograph Collection (Dublin, Ireland) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Though it’s a relative newcomer, The College Green Hotel Dublin boasts one of the most prized locations in town: just opposite Trinity College lie three 19th-century buildings, their historic forms wedded together into this most functionally modern of hotels. One of the three was a bank, and it contributes more than just its stately facade — the lobby, with its columns, is suitably grand, and the cellar bar, with its vaulted ceilings, recalls nothing so much as, well, a vault." - Tablet Hotels

We were lucky to get a same day room here, after leaving another hotel due to a negative experience. The room and bed were spectacular. The location next to Trinity was wonderful and made most sightseeing very easy. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Dublin.

We had an excellent stay! Our check in experience alone was 5 stars. Alan at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. He worked with us to check in early and they had a wealth of suggestions. Their breakfast suggestion, Bread 41, was an unexpected highlight of our visit. Our room was very nice. Spacious and a great view of Trinity College right outside our window. Despite the great city view, our room was quiet, which we appreciated a lot. The bathroom was spacious and had large pump toiletries, plus plenty of towels and an array of amenity kits. Tooth brush, comb, etc. Nice if you forgot anything. The on site restaurants were very nice to have. We got a relaxing lunch at the lobby lounge and a laid back dinner at the mint bar. Nice options to have when you’re tired and don’t want to make plans just to snag a meal. And of course, the hotel’s location is excellent. Easy access to the Dublin Express, tons of public transit options, easy walking nearly everywhere, easy cabs from the looks of it (we didn’t end up needing one). The college green is an excellent hotel, certainly a 5 star establishment.

I had an amazing stay here. It's so elegant and in the center of the city so all the big attractions are walking distance and on a main street so it seemed very safe at all times. The inside was so classy and the rooms were very well designed. The staff/concierge were the best part as they were all so welcoming and friendly 😁

Great city center location, with lovely food and comfortable rooms. From check-in to bar and restaurant staff, all were friendly and extremely helpful. I’d recommend this hotel and I hope to stay again soon. PS, afternoon tea is great too!

Our stay was marred by the hotels handling of a couple of situations. First, the air conditioning they say they have does not exist / work. Their staff was in our room and said it wasn’t working and would get to it right away. They sent an engineer who did nothing and said it was working fine. Nothing was even blowing. They finally provided two fans, one for each room in our suite, neither of which worked well. We asked for a fan for the second room we had end they said sure but never delivered it. On our last day we picked up our car for the rest of our Irish journey and valeted our car for a total of 15 hours. In that time they did what we found from Sixt to be roughly $3000 worth of damage. The valet team admitted this and said they would pay for any charges. The charges were roughly €622 for which the hotel then not only still charged me for valeting the car but also offered 30,000 points as “goodwill gesture”. I offered that instead of paying the 622 they’d said they’d cover that they could provide points equal to that and they refused. The leadership of this hotel had a perfect opportunity to take a bad action on their part and make good on it and decided that they’d prefer to be dishonest and dismissive. Can’t imagine suggesting anyone staying here and having an issue of any sort and getting it resolved so hope you look elsewhere.

The hotel is really nice, good location.|I wouldn’t advice you to stay there in the next 2-3 months since works are being held in the building next to it, so 10 am - 5-5:30 pm you won’t be able to sleep or work from your room, super noisy.|Though there were same category rooms available, when I asked if a change of room is possible for a further one from the noisy building, one of the receptionist stated in a bit of an aggressive way that there is nothing she can do and the hotel is fully booked. Aside her the staff I encountered was super nice.|And I would suggest you get your full invoice while checking out so you don’t get any extra charges like a breakfast for 2 though I was staying alone and checked out before the breakfast even started. The amount was reimbursed but it was annoying to go back and forth with emails. |Though most probably I will stay there in the future since the hotel itself and most of the staff are nice.

The best Marriott hotel I've ever stayed at! I had a wonderful stay at The College Green Hotel in Dublin! The customer service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable. A special shoutout to Vanessa at the front desk, who was incredibly friendly and hospitable. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and was always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself is charming, with great amenities and a fantastic location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dublin, and I’ll definitely be staying here again! Thank you, Vanessa and The College Green Hotel staff, for making my stay so memorable.
