The College Green Hotel, Autograph Collection (Dublin, Ireland) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Though it’s a relative newcomer, The College Green Hotel Dublin boasts one of the most prized locations in town: just opposite Trinity College lie three 19th-century buildings, their historic forms wedded together into this most functionally modern of hotels. One of the three was a bank, and it contributes more than just its stately facade — the lobby, with its columns, is suitably grand, and the cellar bar, with its vaulted ceilings, recalls nothing so much as, well, a vault." - Tablet Hotels

We had a wonderful visit to the College Green hotel while in Dublin - we had the opportunity to stay 2 nights at the front end of our trip and for one final night before we left. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Stephen who took our bags and welcomed us to Dublin. We saw him several times throughout our first stay and he always remembered us, offered help and recommendations and made sure we were having a great stay. He was a stand out and we were sad not to see him when we returned later in the week.||Overall, we had a great stay - we always enjoy historical hotels and found this similar to one of our favorites (St. Ermin's in London). Our room was comfortable and well-appointed. Service was excellent and quick. We had drinks a few times at the Mint Bar and my husband loved their old-fashioned. Breakfast was included because of our Marriott status and was a great start to our day. An extensive cold buffet with a great menu of hot items to order.||We did have some issues during check-in on both stays. Our first stay we booked a king deluxe room, which was slightly larger than a standard room - we were placed in the standard room which was still very nice, but not what we had booked. On our second stay, we had a confirmed upgrade to a deluxe suite (using Marriott upgrade certificates). When we checked in, we were told that we were being given a library suite. The two story configuration felt very small and dark - we did not use the upstairs sitting area because it was inconvenient. Disappointed to be moved to a room type we didn't want without being asked.||Overall, we would absolutely stay here again - the hotel was in a great location near the Temple Bar district and was walkable to everywhere we wanted to go.

Amazing staff. In particular the concierge team. Outstanding was Luis. Eventhough we had some mechanical challenges at the hotel -- he made us feel so welcome and cared for that they paled in contrast to his support. He curated some wonderful experiences in Dublin and elsewhere in Ireland. He was able to work magic to get some very in demand experiences. We can't wait to return.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in June. Our Marriott status meant we got early check in and free breakfast. Our room was a nice size and clean but was in the attic a bit so had skylights rather than a proper window. Staff and location were great. breakfast was good. Would stay again.

This hotel offers easy walking access to most of Dublin’s many tourist attractions. There are also convenient streetcar, bus and taxi stops nearby. They have accommodating staff. They provide a delicious Marriott breakfast (try Guiness bread toast). We loved room 531.

Our stay was marred by the hotels handling of a couple of situations. First, the air conditioning they say they have does not exist / work. Their staff was in our room and said it wasn’t working and would get to it right away. They sent an engineer who did nothing and said it was working fine. Nothing was even blowing. They finally provided two fans, one for each room in our suite, neither of which worked well. We asked for a fan for the second room we had end they said sure but never delivered it. |On our last day we picked up our car for the rest of our Irish journey and valeted our car for a total of 15 hours. In that time they did what we found from Sixt to be roughly $3000 worth of damage. The valet team admitted this and said they would pay for any charges. The charges were roughly €622 for which the hotel then not only still charged me for valeting the car but also offered 30,000 points as “goodwill gesture”. I offered that instead of paying the 622 they’d said they’d cover that they could provide points equal to that and they refused.|The leadership of this hotel had a perfect opportunity to take a bad action on their part and make good on it and decided that they’d prefer to be dishonest and dismissive. Can’t imagine suggesting anyone staying here and having an issue of any sort and getting it resolved so hope you look elsewhere.

Luis from concierge handled all of our requests from foam pillows to reservation adjustments. Room was spacious and amenities were high quality. Complimentary water tasted phenomenal. I am a big fan of still Irish water. Definitely will be back!

The best Marriott hotel I've ever stayed at! I had a wonderful stay at The College Green Hotel in Dublin! The customer service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable. A special shoutout to Vanessa at the front desk, who was incredibly friendly and hospitable. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and was always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself is charming, with great amenities and a fantastic location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dublin, and I’ll definitely be staying here again! Thank you, Vanessa and The College Green Hotel staff, for making my stay so memorable.

A little more dated than I expected from such a premium hotel. Staff were amazing though! Great location to get around the best hot spots in Dublin. Our sink didn’t drain in the room so it didn’t exactly end our trip on a high note as far as a place to stay, but we had lots of fun in the city.
