The Colony Hotel

A pleasant and well-located hotel in Haifa's German Colony. Cozy old-fashioned rooms. Great rooftop views of the Bahai gardens. Friendly staff at the reception desk. A nice, though not great, buffet breakfast. Overall, an ideal base for exploring Haifa's historical sites, restaurants and markets.

The hotel is beautiful and with a lot of character. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, but also modern and comfortable. And the shower with the double showers was incredible. The location is right under the temple and we also had the Temple View from our room and it is beautiful. Very recommended.

We really enjoyed the vintage touch of this hotel! The interior is beautiful, the room is very big and spacious, the service is kind and accommodating. Breakfast is basic and tasty and also had massage in a couple which was nice and relaxing. The location is excellent with many restaurants around, and also a walking distance to the downtown area and the Port which also full of many special places.

Highly recommended. A historic building well located in the German Colony. The room was well appointed, large enough for the bed, desk, chair, closet space. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower, though the head could have been bigger, a nice shower stall and big enough sink and counter around the sink. The staff is very accommodating and proud of the hotel. There is a corner for tea and coffee at all times, even though each room is equipped. A very nice breakfast in a pleasant dining room. The one limitation: it is in the lower part of the city, which becomes extremely hot and humid in summer. One criticism: I wanted to talk to the maid desk before I came, not depend only on on-line reservation, but the hotel never got back to my message.

Clean & comfortable room, wonderful breakfast, pleasant and accommodating staff, and convenient location (15 minute walk or 5 min bus ride to HaShmona train station), near Bahai Gardens. And charming character.

Loved the bath. Great breakfast. Great staff. Great location, super close both to the Bahai Gardens and the pubs and restaurants in the lower city. Price was great compared with other places I checked for the stay. Would suggest again and again.

Hotel is well located with many restaurants in walking distance. Beautiful view of Bahai Gardens from window of spacious room. Attentive reception staff and very nice breakfast. Plentiful free parking nearby. We would be delighted to come back!

This is a place to visit and stay for few days even if you are living not too far away . Just to see that there are some places that respect the guests as family member and not | aas a custemar So above al the room and the decoration looks as if you enter to a museum of the time this was build. To sat nothing about a great breakfast !
