The Colony Hotel

A wonderful stay in a lovely hotel! Pros: The breakfast was very varied and extensive, with many hot and cold dishes and excellent bread. Great coffee, and everything else was fresh and tasty. A friendly welcome, lovely to eat outside on the balcony in the sunshine—what more could you ask for? The location is, of course, sublime, with a view of the Bahá'í gardens from the rooftop terrace, several bus stops within 50 meters of the entrance, and plenty of shops and restaurants in the street. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable with a nice bed. There was a small issue with the shower screen, which kept the entire bathroom floor wet, but that was a minor detail. A special mention goes to the staff: from reception to the breakfast room, from the cleaners to the workmen doing repairs—they were all so friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and at home.

Very nice hotel in cool Haifa neighborhood. Very large comfortable room, great breakfast included, nice staff, easy public transport. Way better than typical large Israeli hotel, and not expensive. At base of Bahai gardens, wide variety of nice restaurants on the street, and good fellafel/shawarma stands nearby.

Check in was rough as the lady could not get our bill right, but the hotel is good, clean and a great location. Rooms are small, but very nice. Breakfast was amazing and they have a free 24 hour coffee bar.

Excellent location, good service at the reception, excellent breakfast. Clean rooms. Water, an electric kettle, and other coffee-making products were waiting for us in the room.

The location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of the German Colony, with great cafés and restaurants around, and just steps away from the breathtaking Baháʼí Gardens. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the staff – so warm, kind, and genuinely caring. They made us feel like family. We didn’t want to leave – can’t wait to come back!

Our second visit here. Beautiful hotel. Inside and out. The location is superb. We liked the room design and the bath. We got a room on the first floor with a view to a quiet patio. Great Value!

Great boutique hotel in a great location with easy free parking in the area. And very reasonable pricing. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and it's a walk from the port and cool area near the port with nightlife.
