Lovely local coffee shop with pastries and tasty bagels. Terrace in front and back.

Great spot and location! Lots of seating options inside and outside for a fairly small cafe. Got the bagel which was £7.50 and it was quite small and the bagel was tougher than expected. Service was great and food was made quickly. Would recommend for a nice cafe option

I've bern in the UK for a month and visited quite a few cafes - nobody makes coffee like these guys. Smooth with just the right hit of caffeine. Super friendly with just the right tunes playing. It's no wonder all the locals were here and not across the road. Updated 17 Oct - Alex, Sam, Tom and the crew are great. I'm still searching for a cafe in Exeter to beat The Common Beaver and so far there is no one that can beat these guys making coffee. Their cakes are fantastic and bagels are awesome. Just don't bother going anywhere else but here - you'll be wickedly disappointed

Great coffee & yummy bagels

Lovely coffee, fresh bagels and pastries. Friendly staff. Glad we got there for opening time to get a table.

Absolutely delicious pastrami Bagel good coffee too. This is one of those places that you will come back to once you have found it. The parking nearby can be tricky, but that is a 1-hour parking spot opposite

Went mid week for a coffee break, really fun atmosphere with indoor & outdoor seating. We were lucky to have caught it on a sunny day, and the vegan bagels were super tasty 🥯

I ordered a bagel, which was a bit dry, and a coffee that was very watery and not frothy. The staff were polite, but they don’t accept cash, which was inconvenient. I probably won’t be coming back.
