Came for a midnight snack to satisfy my hunger squad. Nice spacious facility with parking. Interior is nicely laid out with inside and outside seating areas. Nice menu, and flavourful food.

Go to place for one to one chat and quality Sri Lanka food.. Love their prawn curry with Roast pan.. Service is equally good as the food served.. polite very accomodative staff. Good music played. Overall, great place to be for food, chat and relaxation

I had the pleasure of visiting this place once with my family to celebrate my dad’s birthday in November 2023. And guess what? My friends even arranged my bridal shower at the same place in July 2024! For special occasions like these, they have a dedicated private area, which is super convenient. It’s a lovely and clean place, very cozy and inviting. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive during the events. They provided everything we needed and even went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we required. And let me tell you, their food was absolutely delicious! There was nothing to complain about. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable experience.

Loved the variety of Sri Lankan and Western cuisine, everything was delicious, great quality, and reasonably priced. A huge thank you to Lucky for the outstanding service. We’ll surely be back!

The desserts need much improving. The chocolate biscuit pudding and chocolate brownie mousse are pretty okay. The red velvet cake on the other hand was pretty bad- very dry and tasteless. The frosting was definitely not made with cream cheese and had an off taste. Tasted like a very cheap cake dyed red with a funny white frosting.

Wow! The “Yellow Chicken Rice” at The Commons is absolutely delicious — a wonderful new addition to their lunch menu. The presentation was excellent, and the flavor was spot on. A big thanks to Steward Priyantha for his outstanding customer service. Both my kids were love this dish, Highly recommend trying the Yellow Rice at The Commons!

Reply: Dear team, Thank you for replying,my friend who's 1 of yr regular customer who was presence there on the day confirmed he always have this issues & he has complaints several times however no action has ever been taken or no improvement at all. Customer service is very important specially when you have customers from abroad.I'm not a fussy person but a staff member should know how to behave,moving shoulder seriously. They just dropped the food & leave,no one came back to check if everything is fine until I had to go to the counter. Great place,tasty food however staff do not care about customers.They just gather in a corner chatting. Only 4 customers were there including myself and my family. Order 2 portions of coconut roti with sambal,instead of 6 rotis on 5 were on the plate and the sambal never came. Called the staff,she approached us with moving her shoulder without talking. Wil never go back again.

What a welcoming and warm atmosphere! The place feels spacious and has a home-like vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is impressively quick. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food tasted; many 'cafes' often miss the mark on flavor. While the value for money is reasonable given the overheads and portion sizes, it's definitely worth a visit for all foodies.
