The Company We Keep

Such a cute cafe! I went to get some work done but hadn’t had much to eat and it was around 3 pm. I saw that they had breakfast sandwiches but most places stop serving them by 1 pm at the latest but not here! They serve all their sandwiches all day! All of their sandwiches are made to order which makes it so much more delicious and it was on Japanese milk bread…a fave of mine. I also got a really good vanilla latte. It was a great cafe to work in, not too loud either :)

Such a cozy little gem! I stopped by The Company We Keep and loved everything about it—the warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and of course, the amazing food and drinks. I tried the Chai Latte, and it was perfect—just the right balance of spice and creaminess. The Hot Chocolate was rich and comforting, not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. For food, the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread was soft, moist, and had just the right amount of chocolate to make it feel indulgent. And the Chickpea Smash Sandwich? So good! Fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit, relax, and enjoy great food and drinks without feeling rushed.

The Company We Keep is a true neighbourhood gem and puts me in a good mood every time I walk in. The owners are warm, welcoming, and genuinely take the time to connect with their customers. The food is incredible, the pies are legendary. If I show up to a family gathering without one, I’ve let everyone down. Beyond the amazing coffee and food, what really stands out is the care behind this place. It’s thoughtfully run and clearly built with love for the community. We’re so lucky to have it on St. Clair, and it will always be my go-to

This is a great spot on St. Clair West for either working or enjoying a social coffee/lunch. Plenty of comfy seats and outlets, low top and high top seating, and the music always sets the vibe for a relaxing environment. I've sampled both sweet and savoury foods as well as the coffee, and everything has been fresh and flavourful.

4.4! Lovely little cafe with a really nice environment and friendly staff. They have all kinds of treats and a whole fridge section for take away goods. The only drawback was the matcha was really weak.

What a nice place! This small coffee shop, run by a team of charming ladies, is a true gem. It’s such a pleasure to see how the staff treats customers like old friends rather than "just another customer." The friendly chatter about recent trips abroad, common friends in the neighborhood, and the hot weather creates a relaxing and very friendly atmosphere. Not to mention the fresh, tasty food and excellent coffee served in vintage china. A delightful experience all around!

Smashing IT! What a beauty of a gem. 🤩 I love LOVE this cute Café. Come for the great sandwiches and lattes and stay for their groovy vibes. The owner of this unique gem has done a great job at manifesting the art of a European style Café right in the heart of the St. Clair West village. The latte with a shot of vanilla is a perfect midday treat for all you coffee lovers out there. And the sandwiches are amazing. With an artisan flare to their creation! Amazing food, amazing coffee, amazing friendly staff, and phenomenal vibe! Enjoy! ✌️

Extremely overpriced. Went here cause I was under the impression they were known for large good sandwiches. Unfortunately the options were shockingly limited (made worse admittedly by not eating pork or tomato), so I ended up getting the crossest grilled cheese. The quality of the item is fine, but it cost almost $10 for something with no bells and whistles. Not filling. The service was nice and the decor was very pleasant.

The Company We Keep located along St. Clair W. near Wynchwood Ave, is a cute coffee shop selling not only coffee but baked goods, lunch items, and wine as well. They have a small market with local food (frozen pies, sauces, etc.) as well as a corner with local vendors. There is limited seating inside (about 5-6 tables as well as seating by the window). I've stopped by The Company We Keep several times for coffee and baked goods. Service is friendly but the place can get busy as people often spend long periods of time working at the coffee shop. Every time my coffee is made well and the pastries I get are great. I hope to try their lunch items one time! Do stop by if you're every in the St. Clair W neighbourhood!

There are a LOT of coffee shops on St. Clair West, but this is one of my favourites because it doesn't just have the same 'ol coffee and baked goods. In addition to coffee they have a great market with food and gift items. It's also a bottle shop for wine, and on the weekends they have pop up shops often. This past weekend they had a vintage clothing pop up. The baked goods are fresh and amazing and I love that they change all of the time. There's a great variety of sweet and savoury treats. Great neighbourly service and good prices.
