The Company We Keep

The Company We Keep is a true neighbourhood gem and puts me in a good mood every time I walk in. The owners are warm, welcoming, and genuinely take the time to connect with their customers. The food is incredible, the pies are legendary. If I show up to a family gathering without one, I’ve let everyone down. Beyond the amazing coffee and food, what really stands out is the care behind this place. It’s thoughtfully run and clearly built with love for the community. We’re so lucky to have it on St. Clair, and it will always be my go-to

Such a cute cafe! I went to get some work done but hadn’t had much to eat and it was around 3 pm. I saw that they had breakfast sandwiches but most places stop serving them by 1 pm at the latest but not here! They serve all their sandwiches all day! All of their sandwiches are made to order which makes it so much more delicious and it was on Japanese milk bread…a fave of mine. I also got a really good vanilla latte. It was a great cafe to work in, not too loud either :)

Such a cozy little gem! I stopped by The Company We Keep and loved everything about it—the warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and of course, the amazing food and drinks. I tried the Chai Latte, and it was perfect—just the right balance of spice and creaminess. The Hot Chocolate was rich and comforting, not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. For food, the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread was soft, moist, and had just the right amount of chocolate to make it feel indulgent. And the Chickpea Smash Sandwich? So good! Fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit, relax, and enjoy great food and drinks without feeling rushed.

What a nice place! This small coffee shop, run by a team of charming ladies, is a true gem. It’s such a pleasure to see how the staff treats customers like old friends rather than "just another customer." The friendly chatter about recent trips abroad, common friends in the neighborhood, and the hot weather creates a relaxing and very friendly atmosphere. Not to mention the fresh, tasty food and excellent coffee served in vintage china. A delightful experience all around!

4.4! Lovely little cafe with a really nice environment and friendly staff. They have all kinds of treats and a whole fridge section for take away goods. The only drawback was the matcha was really weak.

Smashing IT! What a beauty of a gem. 🤩 I love LOVE this cute Café. Come for the great sandwiches and lattes and stay for their groovy vibes. The owner of this unique gem has done a great job at manifesting the art of a European style Café right in the heart of the St. Clair West village. The latte with a shot of vanilla is a perfect midday treat for all you coffee lovers out there. And the sandwiches are amazing. With an artisan flare to their creation! Amazing food, amazing coffee, amazing friendly staff, and phenomenal vibe! Enjoy! ✌️

A nice cozy cafe on my favorite St. Clair Ave. Pleasant atmosphere, nice service, a few places to sit, you can choose several baked goods here, but unfortunately I didn't like the coffee, even though they have nice glasses. Otherwise great.
