the COMPOUND COWORK

This is the best coworking space I have ever worked at. First of all, you can tell Rebecca and the other owners are very happy to have you here. They answered all my questions, told me to feel at home and do whatever I felt like to and explained everything I needed so I could have the best experience here. I worked here for almost a month, the internet is working perfect, there are friendly people here and also the place is beautiful. I felt at peace here. In the beginning, my main worry was if I was going to be able to have meetings since I only booked the "public" space. But they have these phone booths that you can use and you won't make anybody uncomfortable with your meeting. So, I would definitely come back here, I think I made friends and felt very welcome. Thanks for everything guys.

The second floor is very spacious. There is a shop to buy workout clothing, and my friends massage workshop is there on 1120 Washington. And a large area to sit in with tables and chairs, not sure if it is a free space to work? There is a yoga class and self defense class there too.

i needed a place to work for the month and this one had everything i was looking for and more. it is airy, chilled out and quiet. my favorite part, aside from the ultra conveniently placed yoga studio right next door (work-life-balance on point), is the chill.out corner with giant bean bags and a hammock-chair that is the ultimate comfort. highly recommended!

An excellent place, very safe and very pleasant, perfect to attend meetings without problems, the staff was very attentive to my arrival and to everything I needed. I am very grateful since they solved my urgency of a space to work with perfection.

I've been a member 2 months now and I'm thrilled with the Compound Cowork. It's a beautiful space with lots of natural light and an abundance of plants. The staff are so personable--it's given me a work environment to look forward to. I also highly recommend the community events. Cinco de Mayo party was excelente.

They have a variety of workspaces for almost any need. The staff are very friendly. Areas available for larger gatherings are open and easily accessible.

It's a great coworking space and I'm happy being a part of it. So much better than an overcrowded coworking just around the corner.

Used for virtual working space AND I volunteer from time to time too. Great location, people and environment!

If you prefer a quiet workspace, and/or management that is interested in the concerns of the space's tenants and customers, this is NOT the space for you. I asked some chatty people if they might move to the open conference room after they had been talking for over an hour in the middle of the work-space, and I was scoffed at and laughed back to my seat. I tried introducing myself hoping to re-set and talk about this, and one of the two people who had been talking for an hour said "I'm the manager" and I was dumbfounded. I was shocked that the manager would be talking for so long in the main space, during work hours and then rolling her eyes and scoffing at me like my request for a quiet space was a personal offense. It was super bizarre and insulting- and in an email after the event, the same manager let me know that I can pay for hours in the conference room if her talking is so distracting me. So... steer clear if you're looking for a workspace where you can work in peace and safety I guess. But stop by if you're looking for something akin to a big room with occasional hours of distracting chatter and zero regard for any of your workspace concerns.

Great spot. For years I worked out of coffee shops and my home office (read: my bedroom) and I finally made the leap to a co-working space recently with these guys. Great decision. It's affordable, I pay month-to-month and I can cancel with 30-days notice if need be. Their space is beautiful and it's in a fun, lesser-known section of Brooklyn. Very satisfied.

I was here for a weekend seminar. The work space has big windows and good natural lighting.
