The Compton Bentonville

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The staff was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable, well‑stocked, and offered a lovely view of the Bentonville square. One of our favorite parts of the hotel was the lobby — a beautiful, welcoming space that made it easy to relax and enjoy time with friends.||Overall, the hotel’s attention to detail and commitment to guest comfort made our stay truly enjoyable.

My stay at the Compton was truly amazing. My business trip was delayed by a week due to winter weather, and the staff was gracious enough to let me push my stay back. The hotel lobby is eclectic and thoughtfully curated. The door is opened for you upon every entrance and exit. I honestly felt like I was arriving home to my luxurious manor every time I returned for the day. That's how dedicated the staff are to greeting you and making you feel welcomed. My room and bathroom were gorgeous and pristine. I never saw a housekeeper, but they are hard at work behind the scenes. My room was prepared for sleep every night with the blackout blind closed, bed turned down, lights dimmed, and a carafe of water left. Every night you also receive an Ozark folklore trinket left on your bed which was my favorite touch. I received a red string, local wildflower seeds, and a local river rock. If I am ever staying in the area again, I will definitely rebook.

We’re so glad we made the decision to stay at The Compton during our trip to Bentonville! The location is unbeatable—You literally can’t get any closer to the Bentonville square without sleeping on the sidewalk. The hotel is walkable to all the best of Bentonville. The whole place is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Every detail seems intentional-feeling both comfortable and inviting while also sophisticated and modern. I found myself just wanting to sit in the lobby and front patio area to just look around because everything is so aesthetic-taking random pictures of decorations I’ll never use 🤣 Our room was also bright and airy with tons of natural light from the large windows, super comfortable premium bedding, beautiful wood throughout, large bathroom, cool views overlooking the surrounding Bentonville area. Everything just feels so thoughtfully put together—the room was really quiet too with everything needed. We used the Bluetooth speaker and water carafe with filtered water stations in the hall every day. Last but not least - The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! They were always there to help or have a quick and friendly conversation. I don’t think we opened the main entrance door ourselves once during our stay! We loved the lobby restaurant which has delicious breakfast food and wonderful staff as well. If you’re coming to Bentonville, I’d recommend The Compton to anyone with 100% confidence—it’s the perfect way to experience the best the area has to offer!

We stayed at the Compton for our 5 year wedding anniversary and it was so splendid. Not only is the building gorgeous, the hospitality is a bright spot in the region. Every member of the team wished us a happy anniversary, there were flowers and a card in our room waiting at check in, and generally the staff seemed genuinely invested in making us feel welcome. Field Notes, The Eddy, and Sestina (Cole was our amazing Server!) all were excellent as well and the continuity between each venue was really special! I highly recommend The Compton for a stay and all of the dining options. I’m so glad to have an impressive gem of hospitality here in NWAR. Thank you for helping make our anniversary so special.

We had such a great stay at The Compton in Bentonville. The room design was beautiful — modern, clean, and thoughtfully styled. It felt upscale but still cozy. And the shower was amazing — spacious with great water pressure, like a mini spa experience. The location is perfect and the staff was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!

The Ozarks are full of quiet gems that you have to experience to truly understand. As Bentonville locals, we wanted to form our own firsthand impression of The Compton so that when friends asked, we could speak from experience. We booked a night and were immediately glad we did. From the moment we walked in, The Compton felt like a collection of hidden treasures waiting to be explored. Danish inspired furnishings create a series of cozy living room environments, and the dangling dandelion chandelier sets a warm, welcoming tone. As we wandered through the common areas, we discovered a thoughtfully curated library filled with books about the Ozarks, past and present. Every wall featured Ozark inspired artwork by contemporary artists. It felt like a place that invited you to slow down and feel at home. Bentonville has been shaped by a belief that discovering something special creates a personal connection to place. Maybe you stumble upon a neon cowboy pointing the way down an alley, or notice a building sharing its name with a nearby park, a quiet reminder of how much this community gives back. The Compton is a beautiful extension of that philosophy. Our room struck the perfect balance between modern amenities and warmth. Everything was spotless and clearly well cared for by The Compton’s attentive staff. Even the blanket stood out so much that we found ourselves looking it up to buy one for home. Our stay was wonderful from start to finish, thanks to the thoughtful design and genuinely kind staff. We will absolutely be recommending The Compton to others, and you will likely find us spending time in what truly feels like Bentonville’s living room.

We had a great stay at the Compton and would definitely come back. The property was very clean and the location is hard to beat—right next to the Bentonville Square and super convenient to all the walkable attractions. The rooms were extremely comfortable with plush bedding, great towels, and thoughtful amenities like robes and even a foam roller. We were offered turndown service and the staff were all friendly and welcoming when some of the services (ice or room service) were not yet available. The on-site coffee shop and upscale bar were reasonably priced with plenty of options to choose from. We really enjoyed the natural, cabin-like atmosphere of the hotel and found many relaxing spots to hang out throughout the property to read or play board games. One downside was the fridge was already stocked of pay to use items - no room for any snacks or leftovers from the many delicious restaurants around. Overall, a really comfortable and well-located new hotel to Bentonville.

We did a staycation at the Compton recently if I had to select 1 word for the experience I would use AMAZING! Fantastic front desk service, I had some requests for my wife's birthday and they went well above and beyond. I have stayed at my fair share of high end hotels in US and Abroad, this was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Every detail in the suite was very well thought out and planned. The lounge was fantastic! Super fast service, great ambiance and excellent service! We ate at field notes for breakfast and it was top notch! This hotel is World Class all around! I cannot recommend enough! The design, aesthetic, atmosphere... Again world class!

Our first time visiting this beautiful hotel! Valet service was top notch! Brian and JJ were friendly yet professional. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and took great care parking our vehicle. The front desk staff were friendly as well as another staff member from housekeeping who held the door open for us. The hotel itself is stunning and absolutely gorgeous. Very cozy and clean! Such a great addition to NWA! We will definitely be visiting again soon!
