11 Best Bars in Bermuda: Top Spots for Drinking Any Time of Day | Condé Nast Traveler

"When Rosewood Bermuda completed its $25 million renovation in 2018, much of its resources went into this handsome new gin bar off the lobby. Polished and refined in an upscale British Colonial sort of way, Conservatory Bar & Lounge oozes elegance. There’s the white marble bar with Plantation-style rattan stools; black-and-white porcelain tile floors; and cozy linen couches flanked by fireplaces and French doors that let in fresh air and views of turquoise Castle Harbour." - David LaHuta

Conservatory Bar & Lounge, Rosewood Bermuda, Hamilton Parish, Bermuda - Bar Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"So, can you tell us a little about this place? When Rosewood Bermuda completed its $25 million renovation in 2018, much of its resources went into this handsome new gin bar off the lobby. Polished and refined in an upscale British Colonial sort of way, Conservatory Bar & Lounge oozes elegance. There’s the white marble bar with Plantation-style rattan stools; black-and-white porcelain tile floors; and cozy linen couches flanked by fireplaces and French doors that let in fresh air and views of turquoise Castle Harbour. You can enjoy your drink there, unless, of course, you’d prefer to see the stars. If so, simply take your cocktail to the neighboring lounge, where a retractable roof uncovers the night sky with a press of a button. Cool. So who’s there? Mostly wealthy resort guests enjoying pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap. The crowd is mature, the vibe is mellow, and everyone has a craft cocktail in hand. What should we be drinking? There are 21 gins behind the bar—sure, extra-dry Martinis are great, but don’t let that stop you from checking out the list of originals. The bar whips up several house cocktails that don’t use gin as a base, including the Garden Daiquiri, with aged Bacardi rum, lime juice, fresh strawberries, rose water, and simple syrup. Anything good to eat, as well? There's a $48 afternoon tea of finger sandwiches, savory cornets, and petits fours. Otherwise, eat elsewhere on the resort. Did the staff do you right? Everyone is trained in the fine art of hospitality. Bartenders are knowledgeable, affable, and full of local secrets and tips. Got it. So why would you recommend Conservatory? Few bars in Bermuda execute a craft cocktail as well as this upscale gin joint, so if you’re anywhere near the east end before or after dinner, it's worth making a detour." - David LaHuta

My husband and I came here for dinner while vacationing in Bermuda. The drinks were amazing and the food was even better! Service was great as well! We are so glad we got to see the Rosewood property on our vacation because we would love to come back and stay for a few days

Tried 3 drinks. One was like sparkling water, one was chemically, and one was superb. Many staff but not easy to get their attention.

We are fans of afternoon tea. I am spoiled having had tea in some highly regarded spots including The Dorchester, The Browns and a few lovely spots on Bermuda. Tea at Rosewood was highly recommended on many forums The Conservatory was pretty but AC did not cool the place we sat so it was hot. We were offered other spots to sit but the rooms offered were dark and we wanted the sea view. We settled in and ordered tea service. Our tea came in good time. The pastry box was heaven. We loved the scones and lemon treat. The finger sandwiches were filled tiny ice cream cones. It was a fun and whimsical version but honestly, I longed for little finger sandwiches. Our servers were very helpful and friendly. The view of the ocean from the cafe area of the Conservatory was lovely but again, too hot. We were the only guests for most of the meal. We did have a reservation but not sure one is needed.

The Conservatory Bar at Rosewood Tuckers Point is a lovely place to visit. It has a really nice and cozy atmosphere, and the service is always friendly service. There is a nice selection of cocktails to choose from. If you especially enjoy gin, there are lots to choose from to make your perfect G&T. I might also add if alcohol is not your preference, The Conservatory Bar serves an outstanding Afternoon Tea with a delicious variety of sweet and savory treats to eat.

Visit my Instagram @cheresa.loves For more travel reviews ____________________________________ Decadent and elegant. The pastries were rich and freshly made. Wide assortment of teas available. Of course, the gin menu was extensive and I do believe gin tasting flights are available. The Conservatory has a luxuriously comfortable atmosphere.
