I booked an overnight stay with my partner and the room we stayed in was great. Our room was simple but had tea, coffee, a kettle that worked and even a hairdryer for us to use. The bed was really comfortable, had the option for mood lighting in the colour blue which was very cool and black-out blinds that helped us sleep in just that little bit more in the morning. Our bathroom was nice, clean, and spacious as well being private, as we didn't need to share with other guests which we really appreciated. The art works were beautiful and we hardly heard any noise from other people staying in the building. I definitely recommend this hotel ☺️.

Exceptional Service from Georgia and Dui at The Constance From the moment I arrived at The Constance, Georgia and Dui made me feel like absolute royalty. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were second to none. Georgia greeted me with the kind of smile that instantly makes you feel at home, and her recommendations throughout my stay were spot-on — from dining to hidden local gems. Dui was equally outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Whether it was a last-minute request or just a friendly chat that brightened my day, she handled everything with grace and genuine care. Together, Georgia and Dui are a dream team. Their service felt personal, heartfelt, and truly unforgettable. I’ve stayed at many hotels, but it's rare to come across staff who make such a lasting impression. The Constance is lucky to have them — and because of them, I’ll definitely be back!

We paid over $400 (including parking) for one room for one night and it was definitely not worth this price. |We had 3 people booked in but only had 2 towels in our room, we went to reception and got one with no problem but considering we had to wait for our room as it was still being cleaned when we arrived, this is poor service. The bathroom has a massive spa bath that took an hour to fill due to poor water pressure and the jets didn’t work properly. There is a glass wall between the shower/ bath and the rest of the room - only half the glass is frosted so there is no privacy when showering. Parking is a block away which we weren’t advised when we booked. |Beds were very comfortable but this is the only positive. You could definitely find the same standard of hotel for cheaper or get a lot nicer for the price.

Comfortable room. Clean, quiet, safe. Good location with much to do within walking distance. We were able to leave our luggage at the desk for several hours before checking in and again for a few hours after checking out

I was let down by an Airbnb at short notice, so had to find alternative accommodation for the night. I was fortunate to find accommodation at The Constance Hotel. The Constance is a nice wee artsy inspired hotel. Georgia was warm and welcoming. Having had a stressful afternoon, I was soon put at ease and settled into a room at the Constance. The room had a super comfy bed. I loved the artwork, and blue lighting. I had the most enjoyable stay. Thank you to Georgia and team at The Hotel Constance.

Great little hotel. Love the art and funky fun style of the hotel. Rooms are smallish, but if you are staying for a night or two, it works.

Ear plug/noise warning should come with check-in, better still when booking, have to be up at 5am, still wide awake at 2am. Noise is awful. I am not local and did not know the hotel is in a nightclub district. No water pressure to showers & the carpark is definitely a non-safe zone for women alone at night or early morning. Give this hotel a miss unless you love all night and morning “doof doof” until 3am.

Very disappointed overall. As others mentioned, the air conditioning is horrible, I set it to 21 and it never went under 26. On top of that, the mini fridge didn’t really keep anything cold and was really hot on the outside, making the room hotter. So you’re dealing with a hot room and warm drinks. The rooms were pretty dated, lots of peeling and chipped paint and I noticed a lot of dust when I checked in however it looked like the maid cleaned that after the first night. The bathrooms were atrocious, there’s no room to put toothbrushes and other things, and the shower had a curtain that only covered like 3/4ths of the area. There was also a really bad urine smell the whole stay, not sure why. Some of the staff were nice but the person I checked in with was not helpful. No explanation of the hotel amenities (if there are any) or surrounding area. The artwork was pretty cool, but it’s not something that really added value for me personally. The location was a good spot, lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Despite that, I’m giving 1 star because I thought it was a very poor guest experience and cannot recommend anyone stay here. I would not stay here again.
