Staff are amazing Rooms are quiet and bed is comfy as Central to bars and restaurants Would stay there again with no worries at all. 9.9/10 Only gripe is the bathroom sliding door was squeaky as and the shower door was too big for the size of the bathroom. Everything else - perfect!

I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless it’s just for one night. Let’s start with the positives. The location is good, close to everything, and the beds are comfortable. Now for what you’ll actually experience. First, we were placed in a room where the window directly faced the elevator windows, meaning that if the curtain was open, anyone could see straight into our room. I politely asked to change rooms, without any drama, just if possible, and we were moved to another room where the window looked directly into the bar and restaurant area of a neighboring hotel, again with a clear and direct view into our room. As a result, we had to keep the curtains closed for the entire stay. In addition, one of the bathroom lights was not working, so going to the bathroom at night meant either walking in complete darkness or turning on all the lights in the room. The fridge also did not work at all. After raising all of these issues, we were told there was nowhere else to move us because the hotel was fully booked, yet it seemed that the comfort of one or two night guests was considered more important than that of guests staying almost a full week. In addition, the hotel is undergoing maintenance and repairs, which in itself is not a problem. However, this was happening on the floor where we were staying, starting at seven in the morning. There was constant knocking, drilling, and noise. If maintenance is being carried out, I would strongly suggest doing it when the floor is not occupied by guests. On top of that, we tried to be considerate and did not request daily housekeeping. However, when we did leave the sign allowing our room to be cleaned, no one cleaned it, and we returned to an unpleasant smell from the towels we had left piled up. All we received from the front desk was an apology. Overall, the service level is low. I would definitely recommend spending your money elsewhere, as there are plenty of other hotels available.

Well, I could not fault this lovely hotel. Room had everything we needed. Clean room, comfy bed, quiet. Would stay again and will recommend.

I booked an overnight stay with my partner and the room we stayed in was great. Our room was simple but had tea, coffee, a kettle that worked and even a hairdryer for us to use. The bed was really comfortable, had the option for mood lighting in the colour blue which was very cool and black-out blinds that helped us sleep in just that little bit more in the morning. Our bathroom was nice, clean, and spacious as well being private, as we didn't need to share with other guests which we really appreciated. The art works were beautiful and we hardly heard any noise from other people staying in the building. I definitely recommend this hotel ☺️.

Google
A good hotel that could be great with some attention to cleaning and maintenance. The bathroom exhaust fan and bedside light were both not working in our room and the aircon had a loud rattle. Reported to reception, but staff seemed disinterested. White bed linen was stained (surely this is easy to remedy with bleach, or just retire sheets you can't get clean). Cleaning is not being done well. Some features/furnishings make it unnecessarily difficult - eg a fancy headboard with cut-out shapes that must be a pain to dust and cleaners were obviously skipping this task. Other fixtures were pretty simple - see bathroom pic - yet the build up of dust must have been months in the making - see close up of the single bathroom shelf.

Great central location for going out in the valley, walking distance to everywhere. Only thing was parking was a bit expensive. Room was beautiful, bed was super comfy.

I booked this hotel and I was on travel for work related business. The hotel advertised that they had a meeting room - This feature was my deciding factor when choosing where to book for my stay as I was required in meetings that needed a quiet environment. That and the fact that for a CBD hotel, my booking was only $200, I was satisfied. I had email exchanges from 2 months before discussing and confirming the meeting room, however when I arrived, this was not the case. I was hot and flustered from my delayed flight and had a meeting starting first thing. Upon discussion with the front desk attendant at the time I was told the meeting room was not available and that they had beds in there and couldn’t be used. I showed the email exchanges and was told that the person replying to me was mistaken, and that it is not possible. Understanding that errors occur, I allowed the man at the desk some time to investigate and delayed the meeting for 30 mins. That all may sound negative but on my return, I was met with a fix to the misunderstanding. I was given access to a room for day use (9:30 until check in), of which I was extremely grateful for. Most hotels would charge at least a half daily rate for that, and considering the humid day it was I was loving the air conditioning! The only downside was that although the hotel stated there was WIFI, the WIFI is actually public with no password, therefore I couldn’t use the network for work due to privacy and security reasons (I had a work mobile so no problem there but FYI to others) My reason for the 4-5 stars actually lies in the ratings it reflects - I had a King room which was compact size but great. It had a desk with power and light, a baggage couch for my luggage, a small area to hang clothes, a fully equipped bathroom and a full length mirror. The service, bar the misunderstanding, was great as my issue was resolved and was compensated in the right way. The location was great for me as it was walking distance to the river, close by to cafes and easy to find. To note, the hotel has no other facilities like cafes, restaurants, bar, pool, gym etc, however the sports bar next door has smashing food and yummy cocktails! For others to note - The parking was a multi storey car park nearby called McWhirters. I wasn’t sure what to expect from an art hotel, but it definitely made my stay memorable (photos attached). It was funky, simple, compact and all round a great stay! Being able to have a cold shower 3 times before check in was an absolute godsend after going for a walk to the river! If I needed to return to Brisbane, I would be looking into this hotel as a cost efficient, all round good hotel to book with.

Exceptional Service from Georgia and Dui at The Constance From the moment I arrived at The Constance, Georgia and Dui made me feel like absolute royalty. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were second to none. Georgia greeted me with the kind of smile that instantly makes you feel at home, and her recommendations throughout my stay were spot-on — from dining to hidden local gems. Dui was equally outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Whether it was a last-minute request or just a friendly chat that brightened my day, she handled everything with grace and genuine care. Together, Georgia and Dui are a dream team. Their service felt personal, heartfelt, and truly unforgettable. I’ve stayed at many hotels, but it's rare to come across staff who make such a lasting impression. The Constance is lucky to have them — and because of them, I’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
Damn this hotel is good looking! From the art hung on the walls, to the colour coordinated book shelf on the first floor, everything is very, very beautifully designed. You really couldn't ask for more from the look of the hotel, it's slick and urban but still has a warm homely feel. Unfortunately noise really is an issue. Chur Burger on the ground floor plays very loud music, and has an alfresco area that is below one side of the hotel, this is also the entrance area to the lift to the rooftop bar. Maybe I'm just getting old, or perhaps I should have realised this hotel is obviously a party style hotel and was best not to book here on weekends if I wasn't partying... My room was on the second floor and it was noisy, mostly with people talking in the alfresco area of Chur below. The lovely staff moved me to a quieter room on the fifth floor. One of the friendly staff members told me that they were currently looking in to how to make the rooms quieter. I suggest that when you book make a request to be in a quiet room if you're staying there on the weekend.

Yelp
Again a wonderful stay in Brisbane city at a beautifully appointed apartment for mum and I. Serviced well and TRYP Fortitude Valley has an amazing restaurant downstairs (the foods incredible) and Chur room service. Loved the room we had this time and got to the balcony on Level 4 and used the gym on Level 5. Walked to the convenience store ALDI just down the road and bought amazing fruit and food at Jame's Street Markets - incredible shopping and food options available. Will be back. Thanks for looking after us TRYP.

Yelp
Pretty cool. Definitely a party on the weekend type hotel. Ask for one of the rooms with a hot tub on the balcony. Enough room for 2-3 extra friends to hang out for the day or evening. Sweet graphic art and edgy design in the bedroom and bathroom. One of the rooms with the hot tub has a larger balcony with more view - great if your having a couple of friends over. The other hot tub room has a more secluded balcony if you want a little more privacy. Nice bed, spacious shower, sweet toiletries and better entertainment system than The Emporium. But the towels aren't as nice as Emporium or even the ones on my house. Soft bed sheets though. I ordered room service from Chur. Amazing lamb burger - a must try. Check out Tryp, it really is worth a nights stay.

Yelp
Very nice "cool" hotel in Brisbane. Close to good restaurants and pubs with a very friendly staff. As an American that lives overseas having ESPN-honest to goodness American ESPN almost made the stay for me. Was only there for one night so can't comment on the amenities except the room was very nice and quiet. I'll be back.

Yelp
My wife and stayed at the Tryp as we were having a night out in the town to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is beautifully presented with quirky designs throughout. The Hoiser lane (Melbourne) style street art in the laneway was cool and very apt. The location puts it right in the middle of all the best the valley has to offer and a cheap can ride to the city. The Chur burger place downstairs was very good too. Awesome house special pork belly burger! The rooftop bar was also positive, especially as it catches a nice breeze on what was a typically hot and steamy Brisbane afternoon. The highlight though was the staff. Very friendly and engaging (in a genuine way). They even surprised us with a free bottle of bubbly after we checked in. Lovely gesture. Thanks!
