The Container Store

After months of trying to resolve an issue, during which I was repeatedly left waiting for days without a proper response or even the courtesy of an update, I’ve come to the conclusion that your store is unwilling to take responsibility for a defective product. I paid nearly $7,000 for a laundry closet. I only became aware of a defective door after hitting my head on an extremely sharp corner, which caused a noticeable bump. Upon closer inspection, I realized that not only was the finish poorly done, but the doors had also been painted in different colors—clearly indicating a lack of quality control. Given the continued lack of accountability, I have decided to seek legal advice. The way this matter has been handled is unacceptable.

This place has a great selection of organizational things of all kinds. Maybe it’s just me but I could spend hours looking at organized desk set ups. Everything was well stocked and the staff members were friendly and helpful. If you’re into the clean and minimalist style, this store is definitely a good place for you! I’d highly recommend.

The container store by Park Meadows mall is now my favorite location I have ever been to! Sabrina!!! If the manager sees this, you need to give this lovely lady a raise!! She was incredibly helpful and dropped everything to assist us when asking if they had extra product in the back for what we were looking for. She made it a FANTASTIC experience and we will be returning because of her! Thank you!

As a professional organizer, I love The Container Store! You can seriously find just about anything you could possibly need to organize your home or business. I've been shopping at TCS for years, but I wanted to highlight my experience today. I stopped in to make an order pick-up, exchange and a return, and the customer service was impeccable! Jackie was very welcoming and made my entire experience pleasant and seamless :). Thank you! Also, I know there's rumors out there, but TCS has no plans of going anywhere!

A great place with convenient items. Everything is easy to find and there is friendly staff available to help. There is however, a price difference compared to ordering it online at other places. The container store is a little expensive. It is well organized and clean though.

Ryan was great! Very helpful in putting together a solution for my jewelry. He really thought outside of the box. I went back a second time to buy more and he remembered me! Well done.

I love this place! While it may seem counterintuitive to buy more stuff to store your stuff, it actually works out well. They have EVERYTHING your heart could desire for storage, in all shapes and sizes. Prices are fair. Sales are great. If you buy online and pick up at the store, you get 20% off. I needed shoe boxes, so bought a case. Oddly, they seem a little smaller, or maybe my feet/shoes got bigger? Will compare with much older boxes currently in my closet. They do have boxes for high heels and boots, but I am paring down my collection of very high heels and adding more walking shoes. The shoe boxes were brought out to my car by a cheerful, friendly woman. This was a very easy process. I didn't want to go inside, because I had more errands and really didn't want to find something that I want, but don't need, lol. This place is a huge temptation for me!

THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE! they literally sell containers like get it together and this girl named lisa was SO incredibly rude to me don't give these people business!

Never got a quote The Container Store sent out Becky (great reviews on this site) as our closet consultant. second week of Decemeber. We spent a bit of time going over details for the closet. She informed us they were busy and would get us the quote after New Years, ok, we aren't unreasonable. Well here we are the second week of Feb....... NOTHING No call, no email...no nothing. Its a pretty large area, would have been a nice commission. We went with Closets by Design ( We had their est within a few days) and have been thrilled !

Just Departed Container Store Park Meadows Mall Lone Tree CO 11:23AM / 5/21/24. Arrived to purchase 1 dish drying dish-mat for kitchen; approached Cash-Register-(only.1.staffed.at.time) & the Fun / Rudeness begins.........Customer / Women front of me & teen daughter were making a purchase when Mother went to find additional items & walked to back of store; daughter at this point paid for all 3 item's at register & moved 5 feet away as I stepped up...(register.at.this.point.was.00.out.from.purchase) -------------------------------------- Associate of Container Store totaled ignored me & kept-looking back for Mother to return with other items; recall daughter purchased initial items & moved 5 ft away from register; This Associate (women.(40'ish-shoulder length brown hair) of Container Store never once looked my way & continued to 'Act' as if she was waiting for Mother of daughter to return; No one would mistake this Associate of Container Store with common sense or customer focus--but will give Associate a high five for rudeness. ---------------------------------------- This is I Why normally order consumer products on line (think.Amazon & Google) & don't go into retail merchants in my area because Associates are so inept dealing with customers. Stay away from the Container Store at Park Meadows Mall Lone Tree CO.

I've heard about the container store and how people can spend hrs in there. I had some time so I decided to check it out. As soon as I walked in, the organization part of my brain was in heaven! So many colors, sizes, designs for storage and organizing needs! The only thing is that everything was SO expensive. I decided to get ideas from there and find cheaper options elsewhere. I did spend some time going through the store.. especially the kitchen gadgets section! So many fun things to look at!

Need storage solutions? come to the Container Store, they have every type of drawer, shelf, closet, box, bin, and anything else you can think of for every room in your house. A church of a store for the organizational obsessed person in your life. but, the service is very sparse and checkout was less that friendly and the prices are also on the steep side.

Talk about selection! I've only been to one other container store and I forgot how much I love it there! There's literally a container for everything! I got a cute salt container, lid organizer, and a shoe rack! They had so much more to offer but I decided to come back latter when I had more time to browse each section. At checkout the cashier was very friendly. I can't wait to go back!

A store that has boxes for boxes, who would have thought of that? All colors and sizes see to be available.

This is a great place to get organized. The last year with covid, this provided all the containers and labels to keep busy. They have a very large selection of containers, bins, buckets, baskets, holders, bags and more (different materials, sizes, colors and lids). The prices are on the higher side but, they do have deals all the time. As for the staff, they are typically helpful and friendly. One of my favorite things is, they have a very easy return policy (pretty much take back anything)-- if your park of their pops perk program, which is free, no need for a receipt. You can load up on bins and whatever you need without the stress of pushback on over purchasing.

Went here to pick up something to store my kid's LEGO collection. Not only do they have generic containers but they also have LEGO specific ones. They're prices are comparable to Amazon but I was tired of legos all over the house so I wanted a solution fast! The lady at the register suggested I register for their POP loyalty club and I got a 15% coupon for my next purchase

Oh my gosh! Becky is amazing and really showed us what it meant to be a professional. She KNOWS exactly what she is doing and has created a closet organizational system that we are so excited about. We had originally scheduled an appointment at IKEA and had a TERRIBLE, non-professional experience. My husband called The Container Store and were able to get us in within 10 minutes. Underwhelming customer service. Not very busy and couldn't find anyone willing to help me find what I needed. I'll shop elsewhere in the future.

I remember why I haven't been into this store in 15+ years... well it's because it's hard to leave once you there if your into that sort of thing.. Yes.. I am. I try to deny it but it gnaws at me. Get a basket for that.. get a container for that. Do it.. you know you want to. Over the weekend I had cleaned out my freezer in the garage.. it's a never ending fight to open the door and not have a landslide off the shelf when trying to find something or just grab something out. Baskets.. I need freezer baskets. I went on to my trusty Amazon and started to look. A voice in the back of my head said.. look at the Container Store. Naw.. they won't have them... they will have to be ordered or something and it will take twice as long, but it still haunted me. So I took a chance and I looked. UNBELIEVABLE.. they had what I was looking for and their site said it was actually in the store. Never.. I cam never that fortunate with things.. hard to have faith but I took a trip over on lunch hour. It was like the sky lit up and the angels sang.. Yes.. they actually had what the site said they did! I scooped them up and I was to the register. I began to see all the shiny and gadgetry things. I had to stay focused... freezer baskets... register and on to my other errands. I made it.. without buying anything else. *phew* but I know it's all there now. It will haunt me until I return to investigate things.. This time retail won over Amazon. You never know until you try! Now I won't have bags of sauce avalanching themselves at me when I open the door. My toes thank you Container Store.

I love this store however am sad to report their customer service is severely lacking. I have been there twice in 2 days and both times have had poor customer service. Both employees that helped me seemed irritated at requests to grab elfa products from the back (which is where they keep most of them). Today, when making our request, the immediate response was "well I have to see if we even have them". Once the product was brought out, she did not hand it to us but responded with "well I'm not sure if this is even available". Each response from her was lacking basic customer service. The person checking out was great but those helping on the floor with elfa have been frustrating.

How have I NOT reviewed The Container Store yet?! I am def the "everything has it's place" type of person. So it's easy to see why The Container Store would be my thing! ++ I LOVE the variety of storage solutions offered! ++ I LOVE that there's a ton of displays showing you ways to incorporate their nifty storage items into your life. ++ I LOVE being able to custom design a storage solution that works for both my space and my needs! Heck, they'll even install it if you aren't handy with a drill. ++ I LOVE the friendly associates throughout the store offering their help. -- ONLY negative is that the prices can be a bit high. However, if you sign up for the POP! Rewards Program they send you a fifteen percent off coupon (just for signing up) and various coupons/deals throughout the year! So that helps a bit. The Container Store is def the kind of store to help with solutions to get your life in order. Love it!

The Container Store seems like it would be such a snooze fest when you really think about it....a store with lots of items you can use to organize stuff. Yawn. Heck, even when you walk in it doesn't exactly wow you. You are assulted with shelving units and boxes and baskets galore. Then you start walking around and looking and getting sucked in and holy cow....its been an hour??? How? I went into the Park Meadow's store to get something to organize the mess that is my closet - well the shoes in my closet specifically. They had so much selection I actually was a bit overwhelmed. Shelves, cubbies, racks, underbed storage, over door storage - wow! I settled on something and started to wander a bit more. I love the store, so many little organizational things that I doubt I really need, but they make it seem like I really can't do without it! Staff is friendly and helpful too. They can answer a quick question (like I had) or help you design an entire closet (like several people seemed to be doing today). My only complaint is the stuff isn't exactly cheap. Everything registers just a little high, but they also have such good selection it is worth it to get the perfect thing you need.

I've visited most container stores in a large radius of denver. Pro tip - make an appointment if you want to do elfa. The staff is hit or miss, but the friendly and helpful ones are beyond amazing! We got crazy with making the most of what i had with an attic access. We redid many things a number of times and she put in specific notes to help the installer with what i wanted! The program to create your closet/storage is great, and you can see it at home and rethink anything! I have done 2 house with ELFA and love it! Everything has a place so you don't need the once a year, reorganize the closet! Kudo to the staff! Pro tip: you can map out your closet without purchasing it, you can then buy it when the sales are on! Wherever you do your final update to you closet, and you buy it - you have to pick up the pieces there - so make sure it's the one closest to your house.

Horrible customer service. Rude. Much better off trying ANY other organizing store. Don't shop here just to be treated poorly!! Took 2 calls to corporate before anyone finally cared to call me back. Still just nothing good came of it.

This place is organization HEAVEN. Any kind of box, crate, bag, shelf or otherwise that you would need can be found in this place. I mean ANY. They have organization options for everything from the kitchen to the closet to the office to travel. It's actually quite overwhelming. I do not recommend just walking in to this place off the cuff. This is the kind of place you can get sucked into. Come in with a plan and an idea of what you are looking for or you will end up like me and leave feeling overwhelmed and having purchased nothing. Some of their stuff can be a little pricey, but they also have some really good deals on other things. I subscribe to their email list and they generally have good sales and deals on certain categories.

If you can't find it here it probably doesn't exist. Super store for organizing your home and life. Much more than the name implies. Great location near the Park Meadows Mall with easy access to I-25 freeway.

There are 2 kinda of people that shop this area at 11:30 in the morning. Retired chatty folks and working class on their lunch hour. I wanted to get my purchases and get on my way. The male clerk helping the lady in front of me was so chatty and my total time in line was 15 minutes, too long if you're trying to maximize your lunch hour like I was. Then he made a huge production out of me being there for the first time and called for his managers to come up to sing to me. No joke. It was mortifying and I switched to paying cash so I could leave quicker. The clerk delighted that he was making me uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to leave. He took forever to bag the two jars I bought and took his time giving me my change and receipt while detailing the way he got hired. (Umm I don't care?)overall, it's a cute store, easy enough to find what you need. For me, I'll only shop online from now on at the container store

I love these stores, but always walk in feeling like a complete idiot for not inventing this stuff myself. We just moved to a new house a few weeks ago, so the trips to the Container Store, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, etc. have been out of control, but I think TCS has been my favorite. I've always walked in finding everything I needed, and if I looked lost - the staff usually found me first to offer up some help. Pro tip - when you move, make sure you save their mover's coupon! Unlimited use of the 15% off in-store or online until it expires. Bonus!

I was in the store today and saw an ottoman that I did not purchase, but later wished I had bought it. I called the store this evening and asked if could pay for the ottoman with my credit card over the phone and pick up the ottoman in a few days. A fine gentleman named John helped me with this purchase. He was very kind and considerate, and I greatly appreciated his assistance.

Ok I am in the middle of a large remodel project my home. I have a large closet to do. The staff at the container store was great! Supper helpful and listen well you everything I was wanting. The reason for only two stars was because of the price. Way way above market value. The quote that I got from them was $32,000.00. At that price a couple more quotes are required. I went to two other companies one came in at $19,000. And the other $12,000.00. For the same thing!

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. Terrible customer service I bought two of something, didn't need 1 and they will not return 21 days later with receipt. Not sure how a company could waste a new customer's trust like this. I will be reporting to my credit card as fraud.

They have to be one of America's WORST companies! They sell you overpriced items and refuse to return an unused item 21 days after purchasing. Receipt and everything in hand and absolute refusal of customer service!

You gotta admit, The Container Store is a really cool place to go and browse for all kinds of storage ideas. They have containers for, well... just about EVERYTHING! Trouble is the prices are just RIDICULOUS! I visited recently to look for a simple DVD rack to organize my stacks of DVD's. I found the perfect metal media rack. It was.. AHEM.. NINETY DOLLARS. GTFO! Who in their right mind would pay NINETY dollars for a small media rack you could buy at Ikea or even Best Buy for a fraction of the price? Burgeois middle class with lots of disposable income to throw away, that's who. Like I said, it's a cool store to come and browse for all sorts of ideas. You can find many similar storage totes, boxes, containers, and shelving systems much less elsewhere. I love their Elfa shelving but even during their annual Elfa sale it's just WAY too darned expensive. You can find similar shelving systems at Home Depot and Lowes for far less. The Container Store is a fun place to wander for ideas but be warned. You'll have to contain yourself and your wallet!

I've been a professional organizer for 14 years and have spent $1,000's of dollars on behalf of my customers shopping at the CS. Today's experience at this Container store was horrible. The store was completely disorganized.. like items and categories NOT together. I circled the store 4 times looking for regular items I typically buy. No one knew where anything was and they blamed it on Christmas set up... you can't make that excuse because Christmas time is no surprise to anyone.. it comes every year and you should be ready for it. I will never go back to this store and shame on them for calling themselves organized and they aren't. Practice what you preach in this industry. That goes for us organizers as well!

Don't Shop Here!!! The product I need is very nice.. However,,, The service from the help was rude and condescending.. I was treated like a second class citizen.. It too bad when someone thinks they are so good that they can treat me like my business doesn't mater... I have spent Thousands of dollars in this store, and I will never set foot here again..

If you need storage bins for any room in your house and any of your stuff, this is the place to go. If you have something that goes in a container, you can find that container here. the prices aren't the cheapest, but when you have a corner on the market I guess you can charge what you want :)

I normally like this store but they stopped taking cash because of the Covid issue. What about those of us who dont have credit cards? Maybe they are in cahoots with the credit card companies. Just not shopper friendly

I mean seriously, kind of the best place on earth. They have everything here, from containers, shelves, office supplies, and a rare collection of must-have goodies. Yeah, you might pay less on Amazon, but it's not curated content in the way The Container Store has it. There's so much convenience here, that it's mind blowing. They'll even load the car for you :). Bottom line, The Container Store just makes me happy.

This place reminds me of that old Seinfeld joke about grocery stores: You think you're going to get in, find your two items and get out, but an hour later you find yourself wandering around saying "Yeah, I DO need a pen, paper, toilet paper organizer for my bathroom". It's best to stay focused and make a list before you come in. I did that and I was out in 5 minutes, it was great. They have a greeter as you walk in to guide you in the right direction, and checkout was likity split fast. I'd say the only annoying thing about this place is its location. You'll spend 15 minutes in traffic in the last quarter mile to this place. But the store itself is clean and not too cramped inside. Decent joint.

Always fun to walk through the store if you need a container for something. They have so many unique size containers for the kitchen that I'm unable to find elsewhere, which is why I come here. Otherwise I have to admit I wouldn't be here as the prices are outrageous. The store is always clean and organized (duh) and there is usually always an employee if I need assistance.

Okay, so this 5 Star is JUST for the customer service, because you either LOVE the container store... or you love it. (And I don't even want to know what kind of person wouldn't love CS!) I was there with my two young and wild kids and they are so quick to call help over for you. I swear most of the workers here have a future in emergency medicine, fast and efficient! Everyone I've come across has been super knowledgeable and helpful. I needed a cut for my elfa components and the sweet young lady (Hannah?) was so quick to offer for me to load the kiddos up and bring it out to us. I will leave you with this, since having kids and learning about the true joys of internet shopping, this is one store I will always appreciate live shopping, and I pretty much HATE actually shopping because we found that the convenience of internet searching typically far surpasses the customer service you get these days. And let me tell you, I am married to Target...but I think Container Store might be movin in.

Your mission is to perform a surgical strike in this store so that you come out with only what you went for. Otherwise, I come out with bags full of containers, because they have some of the coolest stuff around. They are not inexpensive, I consider them pretty expensive, but if it isn't at any of your usual shops, go to the container store and you'll be able to find it.

Not only such amazing and helpful products but by far the best customer service I have ever encountered. I mis-measured some Elfa shelving recently and they exchanged it, no questions asked. That allowed me to finish a project timely and easily. Plus, every time I go in the store the staff is genuinely friendly, making my trips very enjoyable; I always love going there.

Slow service. They acted like they just didn't care if we stayed or went. The lady that finally got around to assisting us acted like their closet shelves were so precious. Give me a break, I am glad I went elsewhere. Never again. No overpriced boxes and containers for me.

So expensive but awesome. It's kind of sad that the older you get, the more excited we all become with things to store and organise all our stuff in. It is what it is.... This place has almost everything you will ever need to store almost anything.

The Container Store is probably my favorite store of all time. I am very organized and love coming here and browsing their products. If I specifically need something I use the online service, where I can order what I need, pay, and then pick it up at the store. They have a curbside service where you call fifteen minutes in advance and then again when you arrive and they bring your order out to your car for you. I love the convenience that this store has to offer. In addition, the staff are always friendly and helpful. If I ever have a question they are always willing to help and appear to actually enjoy their job. I definitely recommend this store; I always have a great experience!

Starting several years ago, I have been doing my garage with the Elfa stuff, about one wall a year every other year. Very nice system, incredibly overpriced; however, the competing systems are junky, too little metal to be solid. It works out to about $1.2K per wall, and really about 10 hours labor to truly fully install each wall. Is very nice, a perfect solution. But, you have to be very, very frustrated with the mess in the garage to even think about it. Very, very, very frustated. As a manufacturer, I can tell you that the fully loaded cost of the fabricated part is under 20% of the purchase price at Container Store. There is room for an online company making perfect knock-offs with identical materials. If there is any residual tricks of copyright on this stuff (any patents expired decades before), they would be easy to legally skirt. Someone will do it.

This store has neat stuff and is very well organized and clean. Not impressed with the staff, however. I passed several floor members and was completely ignored. No smiles, no "how are you?", and definitely no "can I help you find anything?". At checkout the cashier asked if I want to join their loyalty program and when I politely declined she proceeded to give me the cold shoulder for the remainder of my transaction. I might consider shopping online but would never go into this store again...

Always loved the Container Store, everyone is always so nice and helpful. Now we are working on a major reorganization project in the basement. We made some plans and bought some materials, then the plans changed and needed more and different materials. It got complicated but Judy, one of the Elfa designers, helped us work through all of it. She was awesome, and so patient and made sure that we had everything we needed and at the best price.
