We came for a birthday party, and expected shabby chic got more shabby than chic. It looks like the place time forgot. Decent band but the bartender lady was super rude. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Saddly disappointed.

Great bar and one of Houston’s finest music venues. Located in midtown surrounded by cool shops and restaurants. A Houston institution. Bonus is their Big Top lounge annex with often free local and traveling acts.

Stopped by looking for hip hop dance night, but there was a country album release party. The $20 cover seemed a bit steep but the concert was awesome! Drinks were reasonable and staff was super friendly. Cool Decore, check it out

Went to Continental Club for the first time this weekend for a concert. Great sound and stage area. Staff was helpful with navigating to the patio and restrooms. Was a nice night out so the patio was really nice to have in between bands. Highly recommend for shows!

Pete Gordon is the Champagne of Men. The Continental Club is the last bastion of culture in a void of myspace bands and overly well lit bacon bourbon fusion bars. The only thing I miss is those delightful old folks that sold BBQ at Mojo shows back in the day.
