Really cool cafe, love the aesthetic of the whole cafe! Plenty of seating options with live music, and food options. They do really good craft beers and really good coffee.I went on a Sunday so the cafe was packed to the brim!

Great place for a break after (or during) a heavy dose of walking around the gallaries. Very nice atmosphere and good views to be had on the bank side view. Busy but adds to the atmosphere if you are a people watcher. 😄

Highly recommend the coffee here. Very nice single origin, made properly. They know what they're doing. The spicy pepperoni pizza was great, also. Very happy to have stayed here after our visit to the Tate.

Buzzy bar/cafe attached to Tate Modern. It's pricey but worth it as a treat. My only issue is it can be hard to find a seat. I'm disabled, solo & using a walking aid but the staff never offer to help me carry a tray or find a table-so that's why it's not 5 stars for me.

I ordered a mulled wine—considering the cold weather—along with a coffee and some sandwiches. The staff member seemed to struggle with dispensing the wine and called her senior for assistance. They opened the container, peered inside, shook it, and then dispensed the drink. Unfortunately, it wasn’t surprising when I took a sip and ended up with a mouthful of thick, overly concentrated spiced residue. I nearly spat it out. I immediately brought it to their attention, but they appeared unsure & CLUELESS. What disappointed me most was the absence of a simple “apology”. To be fair, the young staff member did offer to replace the drink with something else, which I politely declined. However, a mulled wine should never be served in that condition. As a resident artist based in Australia who travels often between France and Australia, I was accompanied by my guest international artists and my teenage daughter—making the experience even more embarrassing. I genuinely hope the establishment considers maintaining better standards, and perhaps provides some training on both preparation and customer service… including something as simple as a “how to smile”. Please guys ! Ash Date & time of visit 2/11/25 3 pm

A beautiful spot inside the Tate Modern. Surprisingly good coffee, which was a lovely surprise. The sofa area is very cozy, and the views over the garden add a really relaxing touch. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. There’s also a wide variety of food options available. Great place to take a break during your visit!

Expensive, average food served in dreadful metal trays. Whoever is in charge of the ‘image’ of this place obviously thought they could improve on the wonderful invention that is THE PLATE, for reasons best known to themselves. I guess a metal tray, covered in paper that you end up eating together with your food, must look better on Instagram. Someone please do a reel of one of those bloody trays spinning while you’re trying to cut your food! Simply awful. Coffee is fine, cakes are ridiculously expensive. A basque cheese cake £8.75!! They must have it flown in direct from San Sebastian every morning to justify that price.

Very expensive for a light bite. We paid £28 for a sandwich, 2 drinks and a cupcake. The braised pork sandwich was awful and made me feel very nauseous - I nearly sent it back. Overpriced, bougie menu that leaves a lot to be desired where taste is concerned - and that's coming from someone who has an extremely varied palate and pretty much eats anything. I never leave food I've paid for but it was either that or be physically sick from it :( Never again. The Tate Modern may be free to enter but the cafe more than makes up for it in their pricing. Avoid if possible. Definitely not 'affordable', especially for family groups.
