The Corner House Cafe

Had a lovely experience at the corner house cafe. Visited on an incredibly busy weekend, they warned us about the wait for food. We were served quicker than expected. The veggie burger and panini was delicious and even the chips were great!

I visited this café and ordered a £4.20 latte to enjoy in their outdoor seating area. I was surprised when a staff member told me I couldn’t eat my fish and chips from the nearby shop, as there’s no visible sign prohibiting outside food. The only notice indicates ‘drinks and cakes only.’ Given that it’s a small business in a village, I expected a warmer and more welcoming service.

Just had a lovely lunch. Good choice of menu for gluten free and vegetarian dietary needs. Attentive staff and lovely chilled out atmosphere. Not fast food but excellent when it arrives. Well behaved dogs welcome which was a bonus for us. Highly recommended.

What a delightful cafe. Had a dog so sat outside. Staff member said welcome to sit in with a dog. All staff delightful. Food spectacular and way above your standard cafe food. Menu has great choice. Attention to detail outstanding. Salad was like artwork. Would give a 10 out of 5 if I could. One of the best cafes we have ever been in. Will be back. Is it cheap? No but the food is well worth the cost.

Chose this cafe slightly away from the main choices which was perfect. A warm welcome on entering, plenty of seating, spotlessly clean. Excellent choice on the menu. We shared a pot of tea for two, which came with extra hot water, cappuccino cake and a bacon omelette. Both delicious. Service was prompt but not in your face. Prices were good too, definitely worth a little walk up the hill.

Lovely little café, tucked away at the top of the town. Good coffee, nice cake, and very friendly staff - highly recommended!

We have visited this cafe many times. The food has always been brilliant. However when we came today we did not have chance to taste the lovely breakfast as we had waited at least 10 mins until 10.05 because we have a dog and wanted to sit so not to be a bother to others. When we were eventually let there were already people sitting down Don't how they got in We were then told we had to move from the table to another. Although I appreciate that we were sitting at a table for 4 there was only two of us and dog. We have sat at that table every time we go. If there is a change in arrangements can I suggest the staff get involved earlier rather than all standing at the til. Needles to say we went elsewhere and sat at a table for 4 nothing was said. I never write negative reviews so it is with great sadness that I write this one.

Fantastic gem of a cafe in Grassington. I chose a falafel salad for lunch and it was the most interesting fresh salad I've had for a long time, with lots of different ingredients. Service is very friendly. Menu has lots of choice from small to bigger meals. I didn't have a cake but they looked great. Vegan and vegetarian options and alternatives to dairy available. Highly recommended!
