The food was overall quite good — especially the appetizers and any dishes with sauce, which were flavorful and well-prepared. Anything served without sauce or a dip, however, was unfortunately very dry. The chicken breast with mashed potatoes was so dry it was almost inedible, though the mashed potatoes themselves were excellent — so good, in fact, that we ordered a second serving. The service, on the other hand, was disappointing. The staff seemed inattentive and often hard to find — we had to call them over for everything: to place our order, to reorder, for the check, even for the neighboring table to order. Also worth noting: bread and olive oil are charged separately, even for very young children, which felt a bit excessive. Overall: a classic tourist spot — worth trying once for the experience, but probably not a place we’d return

We stopped by for a quick lunch and had the Greek salads and tzatziki, both were very good. The place was busy, which says a lot; it seems people are truly voting with their feet. A great spot for a fresh and tasty meal!

Best Greek food in Nafplio by far. Very tasty food, traditional and the portions are huge. Everything we had from souvlaki pork, to Greek salad in tortilla wrap was great. Normal prices, affordable. 😊

A great restaurant and tavern that serves traditional Greek food along with some special dishes. It's located in a nice part of town, close to the sea and the old city, and has a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. We ordered grilled feta cheese, fava, tzatziki, kavalaris homemade meat dish, and wine. Everything we ate was really tasty. The staff was friendly and worked efficiently. Highly recommended place to visit.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal here during our March trip. We were able to get a table right away. We ordered a few too many things, each of which was enjoyable, though the Kavalaris salad was a definitely highlight for me. Would definitely return here again, with no hesitations.

Charming restaurant with a medium sized patio covered in with a glass wall to keep the rain and cold out and a indoor dining area. It was a cold rainy evening in early spring. They had the heaters off which made it a bit cold but not terribly uncomfortable. The heat would have made it perfect. Small tapas sized plates and a nice wine menu. A 500ml carafe of wine was only €4. We ordered 6 dishes between the 3 of us and were stuffed. The food was all excellent and we enjoyed everything. The service was prompt and pleasant even though they were quite busy. Highly recommended and would visit again just to try out the other food on the menu.

This restaurant is one of the best in the old-town pedestrial road of Nauplio!! It takes place behind the old square of Syntagmatos!! The waiter welcomed you with a smile and was so polite!! Catalog has a lot of options and a variety of dishes (meat/veggies/fish/salates and more). For our lunch we ordered a "koukouvagia" salad (like greek ntakos), mushrooms with cheese and bacon inside, aubergine with cheese fantastic! And final as main dishes porn and steak with potatoes and mashed potatoes!! The quality of our dishes and quantity was perfect for 2 people (always in addition with their prize)!! At the end we hoped to serve dessert or fruit but we were disappointed... In general the place totally deserves a 5-star review!! Totally Recommended!! :)

Everything was just perfect – food, service, atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend this place!
