Fantastic Stay at The Cornwall Hotel & Spa! Our stay at The Cornwall Hotel & Spa was exceptional from start to finish. The beautiful setting, luxurious spa, and delicious food made it the perfect getaway. A special shout-out to Alfie, the barman, who went above and beyond—not just with his amazing cocktails but also with his incredible way with children. Our little one had hours of fun with him, asking endless questions, which he answered with patience and enthusiasm. He truly made our stay extra special! If you're looking for a relaxing and family-friendly retreat, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In a nutshell, I wouldn’t pay full price!||- The reception has been changed around, we were greeted by a very lovely lady on a tiny desk in a dark corner of the foyer. |- The corridor on the way to the room was full of dirty room service trays and glasses from the night before. We checked in at around 4pm so it didn’t give us a good welcome. |- Room was grimey. There were suspect yellow stains on the bathroom wall next to the toilet and bits left over from the previous guests. The room was large but seemed quite tired. |- Spa was lovely, well kept and clean. The downsides were that it was very busy (one in, one out of the steam room and sauna) and the pool and ‘bubble pool’ were chilly, you couldn’t sit in it for too long which doesn’t fit with the relaxing, afternoon spa vibe.|- The wine offering was very basic/boring, we ordered a bottle of Cotes Du Rhone and it arrived fridge temperature after waiting 10/15mins for it. |- Dinner was tasty but the menu choice was boring and predictable. Burger, steak, mussels, chicken … snooze. Service was friendly but slow. |- Breakfast was great and check out was easy. I like that it’s a pay-as-you-go hotel so no big, boozy room bills in the morning. ||We got a great deal on our night away so felt like the disappointment was negated by the price, but, if I had paid full price for this experience I would be very upset.||Not 4 star hotel.

This was one of the most relaxing stays me and my boyfriend have been too. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. The rooms were a really lovely large size extremely clean — you can tell the cleaners care. The food was good. Spa treatments were unbelievable. Again I preach: all the staff are doing an amazing job. ||Would 100% recommend for a nice weekend break away.

It was my daughters 30th Birthday and I organised a spa day and afternoon tea.||We had the most amazing day.||On arrival we were welcomed and guided to where everything was and also reminded of the time for our massage and where to go. We were given robes, towels and flip flop.||We went to the pool first for hour and a half and used the sauna and hot tub and relaxed on the loungers, this was lovely.||We then got ready and went up for our treatments. We both had the same massage, this was amazing and felt so good. My therapist Cheyanne was so lovely. My daughter didn't know the name of her therapist but said her massage was amazing. She said it was so relaxing she even drifted off. ||We left there and got our selves changed. You have all the facilities available, hairdryers, straighteners etc. ||We then made our way over to the bar where we sat by the log fire and had cocktails. ||After these we went for our afternoon tea which was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The scones were so light and airy.||I had organised from Gwens flowers for a bouquet and balloon to be placed on the table and this was there as my daughter walked in.||I wanted a glass of champagne for my daughter and I to have with our afternoon tea but champagne only came in a bottle but apart from this we had the most amazing day.||Thank-you everyone

It was my first spa so I have nowhere else to compare it to, but i really enjoyed it. Pool/sauna/steam room to use. The massage was really nice, and a relaxation room to go in after with tea. And THANK YOU for having a Vegan cream tea!

Amazing experience. We would highly recommend the Cornwall Spa. The staff were all incredibly helpful and positive.|The food was of a very high standard. |The gym was one of the best I have used at a hotel. The equipment was new and we had access to Pelaton. |The spa itself was gorgeous, I particularly liked the sauna followed by a cold shower. My partner liked the infinity pool.|We were upgraded to a superior room and it was perfect. An excellent size room with an enormous comfortable bed, sofa, bath and a balcony overlooking the grounds. |We did find the initial room in the main house cold due to a sash window and one radiator hence we were kindly moved. We will definitely come back, this time booking the superior room. |Thank you Cornwall Spa for an incredible start to 2025|

For the price, this hotel is amazing. Our room was incredibly clean and spacious (this wasn’t the cheapest nor the most expensive) and had a lovely view over the gardens and countryside with active wildlife throughout the night being heard. The hotel itself is cosy and easy to navigate with really good surroundings with an equally impressive restaurant, bar and tea room. Across our stay, breakfast and dinner was always excellent with large portions. The spa is spacious with a large pool and looks onto a garden with steam room, sauna and such - all of which were clean and enjoyable and is made so much with the lack of time pressure as the spa is included and is open for most of the day. Overall we absolutely loved the stay here and it’s in a good location too. The hotel feels premium and the service was amazing. Highly recommended.

We stayed 5 nights in a room in the main house, the room was very comfortable and 5 great night's sleep were had. Our room had a roll top bath, fast really hot water which made it wonderful for soaking in - not so good as a shower though. The service was good, we did have one complaint about service in the restaurant, our concerns were heard, given time, and solved to our satisfaction. As a base for visiting Eden project, Gardens of Helegan and the many sights of Cornwall, I would recommend this hotel. If you want to stop and rest, the spa and swimming pool will easily occupy you for your stay.

Yelp
The most delightful experience in Cornwall with absolutely detailed, professional customer service, beautifully appointed accommodations and gathering areas like the tea room, bar area, dining rooms. Kudos to Darrel, Jenn and Vicky at the reception desk and to Steve, the restaurant manager, who was ever so attentive, gracious and made each breakfast( included with your stay!), dinner and High Tea meals such memorable experiences for us. The surrounding, spacious gardens and walkways are stunning and there is a full service spa in the hotel also!

Yelp
This place was super cute. Only draw back is that the beds are super soft. My back and neck are killing me even after getting a massage, bummer.
