2024 Readers’ Choice Awards: The Top Hotels in Las Vegas

"If you’ve ever seen Cosmopolitan’s provocative ads about being the “right kind of wrong,” you’ll understand who it’s trying to attract—and it’s succeeding. The guests are usually on the younger side of the Strip demographic, with plenty of money to spend on all the great restaurants, cabanas at the pool, and bottle service at Marquee Nightclub. Its rooms are some of the best for entertaining on the Strip (and some of the very few with open-air terraces). In recent years, the Cosmopolitan has focused on upping its offerings for bigger spenders, and its rooms reflect that: the Chelsea Penthouses, for instance, start at 2,400 square feet, and the three-bedroom penthouses have terraces with panoramic views. All the rooms, though, appeal to those who love clean-edged design. Cosmopolitan has long had some of the Strip’s most standout restaurant and lounge options, and they’re constantly adding fun new things. Look for The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, a swanky room behind a janitor’s door where you can take in a major whiskey selection and, yes, actually schedule an old-school shave and haircut, and the hidden Ski Lodge at Superfrico, inspired by ski chalets in Hokkaido, Japan. The hotel was acquired by MGM Resorts International in 2022 and is operated by Marriott, and is now part of a new brand collection, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, that gives Marriott members special access and points on stays." - CNT Editors

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Autograph Collection

"How did it strike you on arrival? Most people will enter here from the valet entrance (not the Strip entrance) and walk straight into the super-sexy lobby with video art columns. There's an ever-changing video loop, so you never feel like you're in the same room. And a VIP room off the registration area is helpful when you're an invited guest, because there are sometimes lines to check in. What’s the crowd like? They're a tribe of nomadic Millennials. It's Vegas this week, Ibiza next, and back for Coachella after that. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.If you’ve ever seen Cosmopolitan’s provocative ads about its being the “right kind of wrong,” you’ll understand who it’s trying to attract—and it’s succeeding. The guests are usually on the younger side of the Strip demographic, with plenty of money to spend on all the great restaurants, cabanas at the club, and bottle service at Marquee Nightclub. The hotel was acquired by MGM Resorts International in 2022 and is operated by Marriott, and is now part of a new brand collection, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, that gives Marriott members special access and points on stays, and you can book through MGM or Marriott. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?The beds are great—with lots of big pillows. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.A lot of the rooms have different kinds of bathrooms and different layouts, but I liked my Tower One Bedroom a lot because it had a really deep Japanese soaking tub with a view of the Strip. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Included with the $45 daily resort fee. Food and drink Cosmopolitan has long had some of the Strip’s most standout restaurant and lounge options, and they’re constantly adding fun new things. One of the newest is The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, a swanky room behind a janitor’s door where you can take in a major whiskey selection and yes, actually schedule an old-school shave and haircut. Other new additions include David Chang’s fun new Bang Bar by Momofuku at Cosmopolitan’s stellar Block 16 Urban Food Hall. Its classics, like é by José Andrés, Jaleo, Scarpetta, STK, and Zuma never lose their luster. The wacky “Italian American Psychedelic” restaurant Superfrico is fun (try the Detroit-style pizza) but its hidden Ski Lodge based on ski chalets in Hokkaido is the real find. They’re all within one of the best people-watching places in Las Vegas. Room service: Worth it?Cosmopolitan's in-room dining is pretty snack-heavy (not like traditional hotel IRD, which has plenty of entrees) and there are a lot of healthy options and share plates (nachos, hummus) that assume you'll be entertaining in your room. But you'll pay a premium for ordering IRD, especially considering the fact that there are great options right downstairs, like Eggslut, Estiatorio Milos, Ghost Donkey, a juice bar. I didn't order breakfast like I usually do, because not only did one continental breakfast order cost almost $30, it also comes with a $7.50 delivery fee plus 18 percent service charge and tax. If you're really holing up in your room for any length of time and money's no object, it's likely a fine option. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?The staff here is good, but maybe not quite as standardized and en pointe as, say, Wynn. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The restaurants are absolutely key at Cosmopolitan—some of the best in Las Vegas and definitely the most scene-y. Virtually everywhere you go, you'll run into the beautiful people. There are three levels of bars under one, massive Chandelier, and Vesper Bar is one of the prettiest on the Strip. The spa has, since Cosmopolitan opened, been one of the best in Las Vegas. There's a huge, fabulous hammam that adheres pretty close to Moroccan tradition. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay?If you're staying in Vegas, you'll likely end up at Cosmopolitan at some point, since this is where some of the best restaurants, and almost bar none the best people-watching can be found. It's especially good for social Millennial types, since there are plenty of places to just hang out. For those who want a break from all the expected luxury retail, Cosmopolitan offers some edgier shopping options than elsewhere on the Strip. Bottom line: worth it, and why?The rooms are big and there are lots of different room types—so it pays to research exactly what you want before you go, and request a specific room if you can. There are some really good room features, like terraces (since many Vegas hotel rooms don't have open-air spaces). Service can be a little spotty, though, and since you're paying some of the highest room prices on the Strip, you'd better really like the nightlife and restaurant scenes, because the social scene is really what you're paying for." - Andrea Bennett

First off the location is good and the view out from our room is great. But overall experience is not. 1. Check in line is a lot longer than other hotels. Be prepared to stand and wait. I don’t understand why it needs to take close to 5 min for the receptionist to find a room in the system. 2. We booked two rooms and checked in at around 4. We were not only put to two different floors but also requiring two different elevators. Was told that is the only one got popped out from the system. Not sure if he is asking for tip to get the same floor as I saw a $20 cash sitting on the desk. 3. The two different floors have very different smell, one of the two definitely needs some work. 4. Itemized receipt is not sent to you automatically. I have sent three emails asking for it as I think they overcharged me based on my calculation, and so far I still have not received any response. Searching online, seems like it is a common issue.

The room is beautiful I do want to say that first. However the front desk staff have not been helpful at all. When we checked in to our room first there were 2 different times that staff entered without us knowing. One knock and then they were entering the room I could have been getting dressed or anything that I don't want people seeing. Then the housekeeping staff was showing us the spa bathtub and noticed that the jets were not coming on. She sent an email for someone to come fix it but that never happened. So I then go downstairs after and tell a front desk staff member the issue she states they are sending sometime to fix it. We leave for the Strip and come back to it not being fixed so I go down again and the front desk staff states after waiting about 10 minutes that it could not be that night negative they are so busy so I agree for the next morning at 10am. We leave and come back again at 3: 30pm to find it is still broken. I do not understand why I'm being told it would get fixed then no one does their due diligence and makes sure it will happen. We chose this hotel because of the great reviews online as well as the room having a bathtub with jets for rejuvenation after all the walking and also for the balcony which many hotels do not have. However this experience was not a great at all and it was very disappointing and felt unsafe.

Great room at the Boulevard Tower during this visit. Got an awesome fountain view of the fountains at Bellagio. First time staying at this tower that was closer to the strip and their casino which was great. We always love staying here and enjoy the restaurants and amenities. Winning a few bucks isn't bad either. If you can stay here you need to!

A disappointment for me. My biggest gripe is the poor state of the rooms. It's often touted as modern luxury but it's far from modern or luxurious. It is unfortunate though because the location is amazing and The Cosmo has a ton of great amenities. I'll start off with the positives. Right in the middle of everything at the strip, staying here is convenient for a ton of activities. Most rooms have amazing views and there are the outdoor terraces which are quite useful. The amenities are actually top notch, even with the resort fees. The fitness clubs (two of them!) have all of the state of the art equipment you would expect from a gym. They even have a tennis court and pickleball court, albeit they are outdoor and tough to use in the dead of summer. They also have what looks like a nice spa (did not use it to give a review on this). The restaurant selection here is great and honestly has a great variety from cheap bites to fine dining. I could go on about the amenities but I find it to be great. The service here during my weekend stay was just okay. The hotel staff aren't as hospitable as you would expect from a "5 star" hotel. Waiting for new towels or amenity kits took quite a bit of time. The check in staff were friendly but not personable. Essentially, service here is just average. Now the bad and I think it's downright terrible. The rooms need severe renovations. You'll find caulking around window frames cracked, the carpet edges frayed, and the shower/faucets gunked up with hard water deposits. In the one bedroom terrace suite with fountain view that I was given in the Boulevard tower, there was peeling wallpaper, scuffed up doors, loose door handles, control buttons that are barely readable, badly beaten cupboards, and I could go on...I honestly cannot fathom this being considered a 5-star hotel. I've stayed at 3-star Hyatt and Marriotts with much better room conditions. One positive was the bed was quite comfortable. In short, The Cosmo is not worth the hype or money. There are many other options with better room conditions but maybe a little further away from the center of the strip. I really hope MGM forks up the money to update the rooms here because it's looking like a disaster...

The 3 story bungalow suites are the best suites available on the strip period!!! Coming equipped with an elevator, butler, and a personal outdoor Jacuzzi on the 3rd level, the bungalow suites are strategically located near the pool at Cosmo. You can see everything that's going on, while no body from the pool floor can see you. The first story has the living room and kitchen. The full sized bar area and oversized living room is great for entertaining guests. It could accommodate a full blown party! The second story has a master bedroom along with a giant bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, his/her sinks and salon style vanity area. Simply breathtaking. Across the hall is another room that is just as nice which has two queen beds, a floor to ceiling closet/mirror arrangement that is so inviting. It's hard to choose what room to sleep or get naked in!!!

This place is amazing. We got a city view room and it was spacious and very clean. The hotel itself was such a great experience. My new go to place in Las Vegas. I did see a lot of people bringing coolers which was a smart idea and we will definitely utilize going forward. The art and restaurants are top notch. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Google
One of the best locations on the strip. Super quick and easy access to some great places. The room was fine. Not perfectly clean. But a good size. Bed was very comfortable. The gaming room is on the smaller side and has all the same stuff as every other place. The restaurants in here are not off the gaming floor, which I consider a plus. The people who work are generally very snippy and not super hospitable. They should be nicer. Each interaction felt as though they were just waiting for me to leave them alone! Weird. I visited in June and found all the spaces indoors to be quite warm. The hallways and elevators were downright hot. My room also felt like it quite got to a good temperature. The common amenities are all great. But you don’t need to be a guest here to use them.

Google
The hotel and food are good... better than others that aren't as expensive...not really. The elevator system sucks! You would wait forever and when they did show up they would be to full to get on! Especially during peek times. It's time to upgrade your system to smart elevators so they can handle your traffic better.

Yelp
The check in was simple. The stay was phenomenal. The people were courteous. I had a bless time staying in their hotel.

Yelp
The guest service was excellent and the view from the balcony was quite lovely. I called the front desk manager to commend Alain of Guest Services for a smooth and efficient check-in; and, the manager was kind to send a book of assorted chocolates and a hand-written "thank you" card.

Yelp
The Cosmopolitan Resort, Las Vegas Shoutout to Mai, the resort manager, for going above and beyond to accommodate our needs after a little hiccup with our reservation. The room was perfect and ready when we needed it--clean, stylish, and comfortable. The secret pizza spot was a hidden gem, and those slices definitely hit the spot! The gaming machines checked all the boxes for a fun night, and the Wicked Spoon buffet had a great variety of food, making it worth the stop. The terrace balcony views were absolutely stunning, adding that extra magic to our quick but fun getaway. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Let me start by saying I actually really enjoy staying at the cosmo. The atmosphere is more mature (less kids running around) and the hotel is typically clean and has a lot of great options for food and convenience. I have stayed here 3 times and my first two times were really great. I'm stayed here two weeks ago and I think the experience we had was a result of the changes Vegas is experiencing (less people visiting/more expensive unnecessary fees). Our shower was clogged on the first day we arrived. We had plans so we didn't have time to call and wait for maintenance. The housekeeper caught up with us the next day and said she saw the "swimming pool" in our shower and put in a ticket (great!) but she also mentioned that when she called to put the service request in, the person responded with "well did they complain?" ... lol what? It was not fixed right away, we had to call again but eventually it got done after day 2. The hotel did recognize our issues with the shower and they comped our resort fees for the inconvenience of not being able to use the shower as much as we would have liked. The room did have a tub so we used that while the shower was clogged. IF YOU PLAN ON ORDERING ROOM SERVICE BEWARE... unless you spend at least $150, your room service will come in to-go containers like take-out. If you don't care about that - cool. But we spent $87 on a "pot of coffee", pastries, and fruit and the coffee came in a BOX like the Starbucks traveler to-go boxes of coffee. The fruit came in a plastic cup with a lid LOL and the pastries were in a box. I ordered the same thing last time we stayed and it came on plates, with an actual coffee pot, mugs and a table. This time was really disappointing. The cosmo is really expensive overall and I expected better. Save yourself some money and go downstairs to Starbucks. It's basically the same presentation and you'll pay way less. That's what we did the next couple mornings. That's my two cents. Hope it helps someone!

Yelp
I have been fortunate enough to stay at Cosmo both before and after the MGM merge, and I felt equally good at both stages of the process. The staff here is extremely nice and helpful. I love the fact that there is a Starbucks in the front and another coffee shop in the center of the casino. They have a variety of great restaurants to choose from, whether you want to grab a quick bite in the food court (which looks much more like a cool street market), or have a more formal dining experience. My personal favorite spots to eat there are Blue Ribbon, STK, and Secret Pizza. As far as the rooms go, you really can't go wrong here. I have stayed in the basic room with a balcony, the one bedroom suites, and most recently a studio suite which has two full bathrooms (with two showers) and a huge balcony. The view is absolutely magnificent on the Bellagio side, especially if you're above the 40th floor in either tower. The casino can get a little smoky at times, I wish that they would ventilate it better, but it's always lively and fun regardless - and their sports book is usually pretty packed. Of course there is the legendary chandelier bar in the center if you just want to stop through for a drink, and there's some retail shopping throughout. In the winter time they make the boulevard pool into a winter wonderland which is really cool. The spa here is not my favorite, I'm not even going to pretend, they have a lot of work to do to get that up to speed. But I will say I had a facial there before and the service provider was incredible for that in particular. And yes I know how that sounds, but you know what I mean. This is one of my top places to stay in Las Vegas, and even if I'm not staying here I always enjoy coming through for a little action at the casino or a bite to eat. They definitely make their customers feel at home, and that is so important to me!

Yelp
What an amazing hotel on the las Vegas strip. Definitely worth the price. The pool is huge it's beautiful. The service is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and huge. Parking you do pay for. Would stay here again and again.

Yelp
We stayed at the Cosmopolitan on our last visit to Las Vegas with friends and had a great time! Centrally located on Las Vegas Boulevard, it is right in the middle of everything: walking distance to most things and even has access to the tram. The Bellagio is on one side and the Aria is on the other. It has over 3,000 rooms in two towers, 3,200 Theater, several restaurants, a night club, many bars, a hidden Speakeasy, and over 100k square feet of casino space if the is your thing! We enjoy the STK restaurant, the Ski Lodge (Speakeasy), The Chandelier Bar located near the entrance, and a Starbucks in the front which uses the Starbucks App to order your coffee and morning pastries. The pool is fantastic and in the fall/winter months, they have an ice skating rink so you can have some fun on your blades. It's one of the only resorts which its rooms have balconies. We always get a suite on the side which overlooks the Bellagio Fountains-highly recommended if you enjoy them!

Yelp
This used to be my favorite property to stay at in the US. Since MGM bought it it's gone downhill, quickly. They installed motion sensor air conditioning units and keep the hallways to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. (See photos of the temp in my room and hallway). Repeated calls and visits to the Bonvoy lounge were met with indifferent representatives that do not exude what working in hospitality once meant. Marriott Bonvoy status of Lifetime Platinum Elite & currently Titanium means little to nothing here anymore. Typically have stayed in the Boulevard Tower and this time was stuck in some little dorm room like section in the Chelsea Tower that looked like MGM Grand circa 2010. Absolutely awful. The linens are different and much cheaper, not comfortable at all, they got rid of any individually wrapped bar soaps and now it's just a lotion and soap dispenser, no bar soap. The scent of the room is nasty now. The property doesn't have that unique Cosmo smell that I always liked. It's just generic now. I had 3 different workers call me boss instead of just Sir or something normal/respectful; absolutely hate that. Just in general everyone is so apathetic here. It's not the Cosmo I used to love. Asked for feather pillows which used to be standard issue. Both times they brought crappy $8 Walmart type pillows. My shower floor would fill to 1.5+" after 2 minutes of showering. The phone didn't work in my room. It finally got cooler in the room (2 hours later and after I got into maintenance mode to override the bs energy savings settings). Very disappointing to see a once immaculate property with superb customer service start their downfall under new ownership.

Yelp
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Cosmo last weekend. The room was spacious and clean. Love the huge shower! The shower head was a little grimey with buildup so that was a turnoff. The room had a mini fridge as well as an empty fridge for our use. The boulevard pool was so nice with a fantastic view. Service at the pool was terrible though, we waited almost 25 minutes just for a dole whip. Then we asked for extra spoons and we were done with it by the time she came back. The location was pretty central to everything we had planned. The staff were all super friendly and helpful when needed. I'd definitely stay again.

Yelp
One of my favorite hotels on the Strip, both to stay in and also to explore and visit! For years, I've been visiting the Cosmopolitan so that I could enjoy the giant chandelier, eat at Wicked Spoon, and just walk around and enjoy the vibes. Most recently, I stayed in a suite for 2 nights for 2 guests to celebrate my birthday. I had a hard year, and I was looking forward to the new year (it turned out to be an excellent year, and improvement over the previous year, just fyi), so I wanted to splurge and fulfill the dream of booking a suite at the Cosmopolitan, complete with the Japanese hot tub! We had the view that looked out to the Luxor. While it's not as flashy as the north-facing balconies, it's still a wonderful view of the southern-most part of the Strip. The Japanese hot tub was so worth it. I savored my time soaking and luxuriating in the tub. The entire suite was a luxurious dream! Being here as a guest was fantastic. I got access to the gym, and their gym had everything I needed for a good work out. Would definitely recommend staying here. It's been my favorite hotel experience in Las Vegas yet!

Yelp
We stayed at the cosmopolitan for our first time. Note, we have stayed in Las Vegas several times, but first stay at the Cosmopolitan. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice our stay was from start to finish. Checkin was smooth and easy, one of, if not the best checkin experiences. Room was excellent, a Boulevard Balcony Suite. The room was exceptionally clean with a great view of Las Vegas blvd. The Cosmo is in a great location as well. Everything center strip is close by and easily accessible within walking distance, so you don't feel trapped in one location. I highly recommend giving the Cosmo a look for your next visit to LV. Especially if you happen to get any special offers or comps.

Yelp
My first bit of advice is do not stay in the Chelsea Tower. The elevators were horrific, and the wait was way too long. We spent the first hour of our vacation, trying to navigate the Chelsea Tower elevators. Although all six were functioning and it was the middle of the day in the middle of the week, they didn't seem to be able to figure out how to make it work. Once we switched to the boulevard tower, everything went much better. Our Blvd Tower suite was lovely, but the power did go out at one point. It took them forever to fix it! We were unable to plug in anything charge our phones, or turn the television on. I couldn't even call the front desk on the room phone because the power was out. The balcony view was beautiful. Our server, Erica at the pool was magnificent! This was my first time staying at the Como! Although I liked the balcony, the long lines for elevators and lack of power may keep me away next time.

Yelp
The room service food was so much better than I had expected. I really recommend trying the poke! I couldn't get enough of it. For a room service dish, it's pretty tasty. I also really liked the smoothies :)

Yelp
We love staying here. The rooms are super clean. There are tons of good restaurants. You could honestly spend a whole day at this property and never have to leave and have plenty to eat and do!

Yelp
Don't have any complaints about the property or the front desk staff. The line to check in and out is usually really long. I only stayed once because I was using the AMEX FHR program. I haven't been back since 2022 because MGM took over the management so the property of no longer part of Amex FHR. The room I was given was absolutely amazing because it was an upgrade. Had a balcony one-bedroom suite. The entire room is controlled from an iPad. The restaurant options are all Vegas quality with Vegas prices.

Yelp
Overall a great casino/ hotel. Took me for some good amount of money on the roulette tables. All in good fun. Only thing that they need to work on is the smell when you enter/exit. It smells like SHIT! Must have been built over a dump. They need to take notes from Aria with that vanilla smell.

Yelp
We stayed at the Cosmopolitan for a night. We really liked our room. It came with a living room quarter, bar area, large plunge bath, king size bed, and patio. We slept pretty comfortably with the exception of it being really loud at night cause of the club downstairs. We were staying at the Boulevard tower, and where we were positioned was where we can clearly hear the music at the club till 3am. Despite this, I did still like the hotel room. The hotel itself has a ton of amenities, but my goodness, whatever perfume smell they have for the casino was so strong. Overall, a pretty cool hotel to stay at on the strip.

Yelp
Had the opportunity to visit the Cosmo for our company's annual sales kick-off. The Cosmo didn't disappoint. The rooms we were given were beautiful suites. Large, spacious rooms with a balcony and a soaking tub and great seating area. The conference space / venue was wonderful too, plenty of room and great accommodations for our company. The Cosmo has amazing restaurants and entertainment to choose from. You could find a different thing to do every day, every night, and not even have to leave the hotel. They have great gambling and fun bars. The gym and the pool have a great view of the strip. My only critique would be to have curtains that block out the lights from the strip and to make check-in / check out a bit more streamlined. I'd highly recommend staying at the Cosmo during your Vegas visit!

Yelp
I've stayed at the Cosmo twice. Overall, I have it in my second tier of hotels on the strip. I really like that grand feeling that the massive hotels like Wynn and Bellagio have and the Cosmo just doesn't have that. The chandeliers also always do the opposite and give off this cheap feeling. I am a fan of the rooms and the location though. The rooms look great and the beds feel great. The hotel is well positioned on the strip and within the Cosmo there are lots of great shops and restaurants. I didn't like the parking at first and thought it was confusing. After getting used to it, the parking garage isn't too bad actually... just a little awkwardly laid out. I think there may be an issue with their room keys or elevator. On my first night, a couple that was in the elevator with me had trouble using their room keys to access their floor. The next night, I had the same problem. Quite annoying to deal with since you usually have to wait in line to get help.

Yelp
This was my first time staying at the Cosmopolitan. I had business meetings in the convention center, and it was very convenient to simply get off the elevator and be right at the meeting rooms and eating room rooms. There were many stores and restaurants within the complex and a casino. The pool areas were nice, but drinks there were pricy! No coffee makers in the room was my only complaint...but plenty of coffee options within the hotel! The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the HVAC worked great. I was lucky enough to have a great view from floor 44 of the Bellagio Fountains. Great location right in the middle of the strip!

Yelp
Probably one of the best hotels on n the middle of the strip to stay at . Check in for us was fast and the room with a terrace is amazing . It takes staying in Vegas to a whole other level . Didn't try out any of the restaurants inside so I can't tell you about the food but it's worth staying here just because of the proximity to everything

Yelp
On a Sunday afternoon in mid December, it was my first time staying here. We parked on 4th floor and parked near the Chelsea elevator. We took elevator to lobby which was short walk. My sister and I lined up at the reservation desk and the line wasn't too bad. The lady behind the counter was nice and friendly and gave us 50th floor facing aria. The walk to the room elevator was short walking steps from the lobby which was nice. Once we opened the door, it was dark and couldn't figure out how to open the lights and the heat was turned up at 74 degrees. There were 2 tvs and 2beds with sofa and a balcony with a big bathroom. Kinda strange that there is only one trash bin and it's located in the bathroom and our trash was piling up. So, 3 stars for the declining of the room upkeep. Dusty on the end tables, the sofa needed to be replaced, the light bulbs should be 60 not 30, the refrigerator door needed new paint. Highlights, There is a long walkway to connect with Bellagio and Aria/vdara next to Wicked spoon. Also winter ice skating rink $30 to skate on the 14th floor with meet and greet 2 Las Vegas Aces Basketball players. There had fun activities with s'mores and making ornaments. The casino floor was busy of gamblers enjoying playing skits and tables. The food hall on 2nd floor was busy too.

Yelp
Ever since MGM took over The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the quality of rewards has significantly declined. The benefits offered now are nowhere near as good as they used to be. They focus on things we don't need, like free parking (which doesn't apply since we don't drive) and late check-out (which we don't use because we can't sleep in). They need to offer more relevant rewards to frequent guests. We absolutely love The Cosmopolitan--it's our favorite hotel--but our recent stay was full of issues. The first problem was that the person who made the reservation wasn't authorized to charge to the room, and neither was the other person on the reservation. As a result, we were denied charging privileges at various places throughout the hotel. We eventually spoke with the concierge and a manager, who promised a $75 credit, but we never received it. It feels like ever since MGM took over, things have gone downhill. The systems are frustrating, and everything just doesn't work as smoothly as it used to. We'll still stay there because we love The Cosmopolitan, but please, get it together!

Yelp
Cosmo is a pretty fun place to come chill at they always have something going on I've been to the pool parties which are super fun and the night club wasn't to big of a fan of it. We stayed there last week and got a normal room wasn't all that great if you don't get a balcony it's kind of point less if you ask me. Have few bucks on hand when checking in for the people up front I guess that is the way to get a upgrade. One thing for sure cosmo does have good places to eat at tho!

Yelp
I always stay here because of the location , the decor and ambiance and the staff . Everything I need is here : delicious meals , shopping, spa , pool and so much more . I always upgrade to the fountain view as it's just always perfect

Yelp
Celebrating our wedding anniversary early, my husband and I decided to go all out and upgrade our visit with a stay at the Cosmopolitan. The hotel itself is massive, gorgeous, features 20+ restaurants (including a food hall), plenty of gambling, 2 rooftop pool areas, a nightclub, and provides that upscale vibe we were searching for! The rooms are extremely nice, well maintained, a fun layout, and feature individual balconies overlooking different parts of the city. We opted for a king suite - with a strip view, and upon check in, were upgraded to a higher floor, with a better view of the strip and the Bellagio fountains! It made for one hell of a view, any time of day! Service is outstanding, in all the ways! Check in was seamless, housekeeping checked our room daily and restocked towels and other, the restaurants were amazing to each customer and "Rose" the AI assisted app, could do just about anything and everything additional to accommodate your stay! Be prepared to pay a pretty penny, but I can guarantee you, it's entirely worth it!!

Yelp
The Cosmopolitan is such a fun and adventurous hotel - a little too much fun if you're not paying attention lol. From the entrance to the Eataly, it's jumping. My friend and I explore what we thought was the entire hotel. We didn't even cover a third of it. The front desk is orderly and on point. We stayed in the 51st floor, and THAT VIEW?! Immaculate. Our room was clean and classy. Spacious. We experienced the Marquee Day Club (wild lol). Our food experience was ok (Eataly, Eggslut, Hattie's Hot chicken). But the star was the Chandelier Bar. So beautiful.

Yelp
Another beautiful Vegas hotel & casino!! This is another hotel that I would like to stay at in the near future. It is classy, trendy, luxurious, and in my top five for the next hotel that I want to stay at. We had a good time at the casino. Our drink server was very nice and didn't forget us. We had other plans for dinner, so we didn't get a chance to try any of the restaurants here. But next trip, we will spend more time here.

Yelp
Used to be my favorite hotel in vegas. Even this trip im here with 9 friends and 4 rooms. They don't do anything for their bonvoy elite members. I have lifetime platinum elite status and supposed to get 4pm checkout but they wouldn't budge beyond a noon checkout. Front desk clerk completely uncaring stating they don't honor any of the status and they're only loosely affiliated with bonvoy so they don't care. Rooms could use an update, as well. Look like they haven't updated the rooms since they opened. Most of the lights in the hallways are missing also. Additionally,.I tipped the concierge in the elite check in rook 100. He promised a rollout bed would be delivered and it never was. And they booked our pool cabana for the wrong day and then tried to charge us extra after checking in to get the bed we already paid for. Additionally the room was on the 31st floor but the club music is so loud until 3am that you can't sleep until after the club closes down And despite lighting the "service room now" light every time we left the room (for six hours while at the pool, for example, we never did get our room serviced in the 3 days / 2 nights we were there. No fresh towels etc. The service and attitude here are really awful and the hotel isn't that nice anymore to warrant any type of attitude. Also the chelsea pool was closed as well for the entire visit and the other pool is on so many levels that pur cabana was 3 floors away from the water

Yelp
TRENDY, VIBRANT & ONE OF THE BEST Experiences on The Strip! At this point in my life, I can tell you I know The Strip and what it has to offer, for better or worse. The Cosmopolitan is definitely on my list of favorite spots. It's an elegant resort with a lively atmosphere and wonderful staff. I feel like a valued patron here. Each and every staff member was helpful and treated me like a human being! It's so rare to find quality hospitality and I felt right at home. I spent most of my Friday here the other day and enjoyed every minute. I had lunch at Lardo's, nestled in the little food hall corner of the resort. The sandwiches were awesome! Next, I went to a concert at The Chelsea, it left a little to be desired and had poor acoustics but I still enjoyed myself. Shortly after, I had an incredible time at The Henry for a late night bite. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent! Lastly, I went to the market corner before I headed to my car and the gentleman running the place was very professional and friendly! I bought some Formula 1 merch since it's right around the corner and I want to be ready lol! Parking is $20 for visitors and free for three hours for Nevada residents.

Yelp
We had a great stay at the hotel. It is an enormous hotel with a great collection of bars and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and made for an enjoyable stay. It is in a great location on the strip which made it easy to explore around the area. Other people had mentioned poor customer service but that wasn't our experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful during our stay. It is an expensive stay but I would come back.

Yelp
First time ever visiting this Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Hotel and resort property and WOW what a place. I loved the large chandeliers hanging around and BOY was this placed packed- crazy business with people. I'm not sure if it was because of the clubs inside or the entertainment shows but it was so hard to walk around. Sports book, tables and machines all busy as well. We were there for the Boys II Men show and they didn't disappoint, nice performance. The opener was Robin Thicke who performed well and got the crowd pumping.

Yelp
Honestly, the Cosmo was a great stay. It was ridiculously spacious, had a BEAUTIFUL bathroom, great water pressure and great amenities (pools, gyms, restaurants, spas, bars). Customer service was top notch and quickly responded to our need for housekeeping and maintenance (our lights wouldn't turn off!). They were kind enough to send someone up at 2a to fix them! They had a lot of food options available for every taste profile. (Check out Secret Pizza & LPM!). Made our mini honeymoon such a lovely getaway!

Yelp
Stayed here while attending a work event. I checked in, received my room key but it did not work for the elevator so went back, got that fix, the guy that helped was great & way friendlier than the initial person. Our event planner raved about it being a newer hotel but my room looked & smelled 'old" maybe I was in an the old part of the hotel. The Chandelier is gorgeous so pay it a visit. Room service - delivery was fast. I ordered a poke bowl & it was delicious; I would order it again. For breakfast, I ordered, coffee & the cheesecake donut which was stale & I only tasted frosting, no cheesecake flavor. The coffee was fresh & was very good. I recommend going to The Henry for breakfast.

Yelp
There is something to be said for a casino that makes me want to straighten my posture, put on a full face of make up, and just walk around, feeling beautiful and important! This is that casino-- hello! When you arrive it's true Vegas glam. Everything is gold and sleek, shiny black. Everything is extravagant and over the top. The inside of this casino feels like you're literally walking into your life that is now a movie. And not a regular movie I'm talking, sexy, spy thriller bank heist, secret affair, living a double life, crime of passion kind of movie all rolled into one. Yes! The vibe is vibing hard at the cosmopolitan. I did not book this myself, I must disclose that I was flown out to Vegas for a job interview with a company that's based in that area. When I was told it was swanky, I really had low expectations of what swanky actually meant. The Cosmo was literally a reality check for me. Like what have I been doing with my life all this time?! When you walk in, it's shiny. It's sparkly. The ceilings are high. The ambience is low light but also well lit from below so that you kind of feel this affect of ethereal space. (I'm a poet so that's the best way I can put it lol.) The room was top-notch. Gorgeously decorated, comfortable, clean, spacious and artsy. I could've spent the entire trip in my room and been perfectly happy. Another thing that struck me was how the view captured the essence of Vegas 100%. I had the Bellagio fountains outside of my window and all the sin city energy of the strip, pulsing, and calling me to interact with it. Obviously, I didn't because I was there for a job interview, but nonetheless, I felt the pull! The staff (when I checked in and when I checked out) were super kind and they did not make me feel rushed. I appreciated the time they took to explain where my room was, how the keys worked, the amenities, and what the options were if I did want to explore the casino/hotel. They informed me that there were several restaurants and other dining options available to me 24/7. When I got the text from like the hotel's AI hostess, it was very sexy like I was being lured into some secret, sordid rendezvous with a hotel. Sounds like an episode of black mirror. Lol Anyway, I don't even know what the rate was because like I said this was a business expense on the part of the company that I interviewed with, but I'm sure glad that they took it upon themselves to provide this five star experience. Because when I do go to Vegas on my own sometime in the very near future. I will definitely stay at the Cosmo. It has, a feeling about it that just makes you want to come back. It lives up to its name. The pictures do not do it justice. I was absolutely exhausted from travel so I didn't take as many pictures as I would've liked. But trust me when I tell you, you will enjoy your stay. Another review giving it to you straight no chaser! Enjoy!

Yelp
Modern, stylish, and perfectly located. We had a fantastic stay with exceptional service. Loved the rooms, especially the terrace views, and appreciated the hotel's focus on design and detail. lots of food options, casual up to fancy and my favorite is Zuma!

Yelp
If Aria is the fancy older sibling, Cosmo is the hip younger sibling. While still upscale and luxurious, it is definitely a younger demographic than Aria. Beautiful designed rooms, great casino space, gorgeous chandeliers... With the Day Club/Night Club Marquis and being very accessible from the strip, Cosmo is a hot spot. Lots of food choices and we love their version of a food court. We've stayed in all types of rooms, but most recently, on 2 separate ocassions, their Terrace One Bedroom Suite Fountain View and Terrace Suite Fountain View (bigger). Between the 2, we'd recommend the Terrace one bedroom for couples, which is yes, smaller, but it has the Japanese soaking Tub! The bigger suite has 2 full bathrooms and a dining area, so better for entertainment and groups. The fountain view terraces are honestly unbeatable. They have outdoor furniture you could just hang out there and enjoy the view (spectacular at night, esp NYE). Cosmo is also connected to Vdara via walkway

Yelp
Long gone is the Identity Players Club. Once, one of the most generous in Vegas. I remember feeling privileged to be a VIP Invited Guest many times... They really knew how to take care of their players. From wraparound suites to dining comps and freeplay! It's unbelievable to see the changes through the years to this beautiful and unique property. The food offers from Secret Pizza do Wicked Spoon and everything else in between was worth trying over and over again. The strong drinks from The Chandelier where people frequent to see and be seen... Even clubbing day and night at Marquee. I'm older and wiser now but all those sleepless nights of bing drinking and gambling with friends were some of the best times of my life. Now that I'm a father, my visits have become far and few. With MGM officially rolling out their M Life, I probably won't be back for quite some time. Thanks Cosmopolitan Las Vegas for the memories.

Yelp
We had a three night stay and it was wonderful. The room was outstanding. We had booked a fountain view one bedroom suite. At check in they were going to give us room on the 17th floor, and I asked if they had anything available on a higher floor. The gentleman was able to find us a room on the 27th floor. I can't recall the young man's name but I was so happy he was able to help! I definitely recommend getting a bit acclimated and checking out all the amenities. The Japanese soaking tub was just wonderful after a long day of sight seeing. We also ended up getting room service and it was WONDERFUL! Seriously, stay here. One word of advice, if you are looking for peace and quiet, and end up with a strip/fountain view, it will be loud. We could hear a band on both Friday and Saturday nights until at least 4 AM. And the Saturday night band was not great! So, just be aware!!

Yelp
Really disappointed during our stay. It did not go well. Checking in was such a difficult process. I got the room and booked online through MGM rewards and saw there was a nurse/first responder/military discount, and booked under that. I got a terrace with fountain view. Total is about $1800+. I was super excited for my visit. However, the entire process was so stressful. Booking in, they said it was under military only. I'm a registered nurse, not in the military, but the front desk was such a big help. I booked it with a nurse discount and I'm worried that next time I try to book, I may end up not having any room. Front desk wasn't sure, but I checked with the rewards people and they said they weren't sure if it'll be accepted next time. Anyways, we get our keycards, and we wait since we're about two hours early. We wait downstairs near the front desk and do some work. The knock knock text message comes and our room is ready around 1:35PM. Our room is on the 58th floor, so we go into the elevator and a few people choose level 59, 60, 47. So we're going everywhere, but then we try to use our cards and get to level 58, we realize our own cards don't work. So with our heavy luggage we have to go back down, wait in the line, and then get new cards. We get to our room, and we're relieved because we get to relax now. But no. There's trash in the room, alcohol, used pillows, water bottles. Once again, I need to call the front desk or customer representative who then calls housekeeping. I ask where we can go, because we're trying to get some work done. I have to finish some paperwork by 6PM and my boyfriend has work too. She says that we don't need to be in the room when housekeeping is there. I ask well okay, but we have work to do so where can we go? She repeats it again with so much attitude. "Well, like I SAID, you don't HAVE to be in the room when the housekeeper is there." I snap, and say, "OKAY WELL AREN'T THERE CONFERENCE FLOORS SO WE CAN DO WORK?" She said, "Oh, the conference floors are on 3-4." I just hung up. I was so annoyed at this point. We go with all our heavy luggage and then we finally find a place to sit with our laptops and out of nowhere a hoard of people come walking out. The whole floor is flooded with people from some sort of convention and it's loud and packed. At this time, I'm really tired and frustrated. I don't even know if the room will be clean by 3PM because it's 2:30PM and I don't know if I'll be notified. We waited till 2:50PM and I checked with the automated text messages we get, I got a text the room was ready, then went back up to our room which was on the 58th level. And it's still DIRTY. Nothing was touched. I have my boyfriend stay upstairs with the luggage, sitting on the chairs in the elevator room, and he's keeping me updated. By 3:01PM, the cleaner finally goes in, AFTER our check-in time. At the same time, I'm talking to a concierge. Finally, they give us a different room on the corner end so it's a little bit bigger, but it's further away from the fountains than I wanted. We go into the room finally and get ready for our reservation at the Bacchanal. But wow, the tub is dirty with these black specks on the tub floor and there is only ONE robe, and it has a weird orange stain on it. We're just tired at this point. And we're trying to unpack and get ready for our reservation. Right as we're about to leave, we find a cockroach up on the wall. We spent time trying to catch it and finally I caught it and tossed it off the balcony, but I started to cry. I was so stressed out this entire time. Now we're leaving to our reservation to the car and as we drive out, OUR KEYCARDS DON'T WORK FOR THE PARKING STRUCTURE. I'm in disbelief. We are STUCK and we have to call for assistance. There's people behind us too, and it was just overall terrible. We come back, and again, have to talk to front desk, get our new keycards and they said okay here is $150 for food and beverages for certain restaurants, for the mini bar, and for room service, also waive parking and resort fees. Back to the room, the beds hurt our back badly and the pillows aren't that comfortable. You also have to manually close the curtains, which do not close all the way. We let things be at this point. No further issues and keycard works too. But on the last day, while trying to leave, turns out that the $150 doesn't apply to room service. I am LIVID. I explain to the front desk and she assists me and says what she can do is just have us pay for gratuity and tax, however the previous front desk person was not suppose to do that. All in all, I am really upset about my visit. If I ever come back, it will not be at the Cosmo. Probably the Wynn, Aria, or the Venetian. This was some really terrible service and I am just shocked at how terrible of a time I had here.

Yelp
This hotel used to be one of the best in Vegas, but it's completely lost its standards. Our room was dirty, with visible stains on the furniture, and the overall cleanliness was disappointing. What made things worse was that we were suddenly locked out of our room because they claimed our credit card was declined--something that was absolutely not the case. We received no notification from Amex, no email, no call--nothing. When I questioned why no one contacted us before locking us out, the manager got defensive and claimed they left a voicemail on the hotel room phone at 6:47 a.m.--as if we're supposed to be awake at that hour checking messages on a hotel landline. And to make matters worse, there was no voicemail when we finally got back into the room. We had to walk all the way across the Boulevard, from one end to the other, just to get back to the front desk to sort things out in the heat and crowds--all due to their mistake. Mary, the receptionist manager, lied to us, showed zero empathy, and handled the situation in the most unprofessional way. No apology, no accountability. If this is how management treats paying guests, I can't imagine how the rest of the staff is trained. We won't be coming back. This place has lost all sense of what customer service should be

Yelp
Valet was not accommodating. Front desk was inefficient and inexperienced. A bartender at Chandelier bar was very rude. Room was mediocre. Paid for parking in advance but still had to pay upon departure. Online customer service is extremely difficult with issuing a refund. Will not be returning.

Yelp
I was overall disappointed in the hotel. The rooms are dated and not luxurious, they are cutting corners by not having certain things in the room like slippers amenity kits, etc. The towels were scratchy, the bed was soft and uncomfortable. The shower didn't have a handle just the single showerhead. Overall the furniture was cheap and not comfortable and while this is supposed to be a sexy hotel, it felt underwhelming in every way. The breakfast buffet was the only real option, overpriced and meh. No eggs to order from the server, no coffee bar, and no berries, fresh breads, or pastries made for quality vs quantity. The Chandelier bar was very bright and not night, sexy vibe, also most people did not dress up. The service was slow and often we had to ask for things multiple times at the hotel and restaurants. I thought this would be more of a hight end, adult experience but it's more appealing to the younger crowd that isn't as quality oriented.

Yelp
A few weeks ago, my company had our annual meeting in Vegas. Yay me!!!! I was excited to hear that it would be held at The Cosmopolitan because it looked like a nice place to stay. Well baby... I had a TIME. Not only was our conference area beautiful, spacious and well equipped, the whole place was fantastic. My room was a basic city view room. It was very roomy and updated. The bathroom was spacious. I was surprised to see there was no coffee maker and when i requested one, the charge was upwards of $100 to bring one to the room. Needless to say, I went without. They were kind enough to bring me extra hangers and a microwave upon request. I was also told that I could request a humidifier for the room if needed. That is a great touch due to the very dry air here. Along with the room, the whole hotel is amazing. It has a swanky, sexy feel throughout. It's not stuffy like some of the other high end spots around that look kind of dated. This place is very opulent in a modern style. The chandelier bar is a center focal point that is just dripping with crystals and elegance. The casino is huge and very enticing and it doesn't smell like a casino which is a plus. The dining options here are so diverse and amazing. I loved Chino Poblano. The food and service were amazing. The spicy wontons were perfection and DO NOT skip the mango sticky rice dessert. I sat at Momofuku's bar and had a delicious drink and a chat with the friendliest waiter. I went to District Donuts every morning to try a different donut. The Thai tea one was my fave and the sweet potato's there are a must try. Another fave was Amaya.. this was so beautiful and the fire dancers were an exciting touch! So many delicious options and the range goes from super casual to high end. Let's talk about the bars. There are so many things to do here that i hardly felt the need to leave the hotel. Every night we visited a Speakeasy or bar. Ghost Donkey is hidden away in the back of the food court. The Barbershop speakeasy was very cool and very packed when we went. My VERY fave speakeasy was Ski Lodge. It was cozy, the bartenders were so personable and old hip hop playing was just my vibe. The lighting and atmosphere were so warm and inviting. We ordered the pepperoni jalapeño pizza with the honey drizzle. Get it if you can. Hot, oozy, with the good pepperoni that curls into cups. Nothing is going to be inexpensive here. Food ranges depending on where you go. Drinks will run you around $20 at almost any bar. But it was fantastic. I loved it so much that I am going back in just a month to celebrate my 50th birthday. I recommended it to my family and now they are all staying there too! I can wait to go back and share the experience with all of them! I'll update my trip in May for sure to let you all know if my experience was the same!

Yelp
5 Stars - Unforgettable Stay at The Cosmopolitan The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is truly one of a kind--one of the only (if not the only) Vegas resorts with a balcony, and WOW, what an experience! Waking up to that breathtaking view and enjoying one of the most memorable breakfasts ever via room service was an absolute dream. The room design was stunning, with an incredible interconnected shower-tub layout, a spacious lounge area, and a beautifully appointed bedroom. It felt luxurious, romantic, and perfect for my husband and me. While the casino draws in most visitors, our room was a peaceful escape from the energy of the Strip. It was the best of both worlds--excitement just steps away but a quiet, intimate retreat when we wanted it. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Always have a great time staying here. The staff are super friendly & accommodating. I recommend getting a high floor with a view of the bellagio fountains. I would sit on our baloney & watch the water shows all the time. So relaxing!

Yelp
This used to be our go to spot. But for how much we pay per night, we will be spending our money at another hotel next trip. There's no attention to detail when it comes to the room. It needs a major update. They just spackle the damage instead of fixing it. And their house keeping must be blind because idk how you can't see all those stains on the wallpaper. For charging over 300 a night you'd think the small details would be important. It felt dirty and worn down.
