Great experience staying in a cottage at Moon Lake Farm. The cottage is very comfortable and in a very peaceful location. It had everything we needed for a short stay. There are instructions as to how to use everything (TV, air con, washing machine, etc.). The bed is comfy and the decking outside is a nice place to relax. We also went up to the farm to see the animals. Not really our thing but great if you have small kids. Booking, check in and check out were really easy and all communication very quick and clear. We’d be very happy to stay again.

This was an amazing experience. From start to finish John and Emily made sure we felt welcomed. My son and I brought my mom down for her birthday and she loved the cottage. Sadly I did not get to meet John and Emily or get to walk the rest of the property because we had a busy two days planned. We stayed in one of the cottages that are separated from the main farm. The cottage was clean, comfortable (the A/C was on and it was the perfect temperature inside, because it was hot outside), and it was decorated great. I would(and have already) recommend Moon Lake to everyone.

We stayed in the Cedar Cottage, and it was fabulous! This cottage is nestled back in the beautiful and serene woods. It’s full of charm, beauty, and had everything we needed. John and Emily are great hosts! They emailed us the week of and texted us prior to our arrival so that we knew what to expect, and had everything we needed. We could not have asked for better hosts, or a better place to stay. We will stay here again!

The Cypress cottage at Moon Lake Farm was a great place to unwind. It was well stocked with all the basic necessities and then some. It’s probably also the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. The lake is the next driveway down and has some mowed paths to walk around. The owner gave great restaurant recommendations and also let me know of a patch of zinnia I could clip to brighten up the cottage. You can swim in the lake, but we didn’t take advantage of that. Overall a great place to stay!

We LOVED our stay in The Cottages at Moon Lake Farm! This tiny home exceeded our expectations! Nestled into the woods - the cottage is charming, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed and plus the fun extras of the fireplace, extra screened in porch and the hot tub! The mattress was super comfortable so we slept very well. And the hospitality of our host was incredible! Look forward to future stays!

We had a great weekend here to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. The cottage had everything we needed, the hot tub was hot & ready when we arrived, and we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. We fished in the lake & caught a few bass, we visited the farm animals & enjoyed some farm fresh eggs. Thanks for having us & we will definitely be back again!
