We absolutely loved our stay at The Cottages of Napa Valley! This is the third time I've stayed here with my husband for a little weekend away and it did not disappoint. Mike was so wonderful and provided excellent recommendations for activities, wineries and restaurants. We loved our Bouchon Bakery delivery every morning, the fresh squeezed orange juice and the fresh eggs! It was a dream and we will definitely be coming back again.

Amazing place and accommodations. Cottages had everything you could want. Pastry delivery every morning along eggs available made for great breakfast. We had wine and snacks by outdoor private fire both nights. Mike was very nice and said was available for anything we needed. Bathroom tiles heated and whirlpool tub rounded out all amenities. Highly recommend for a stay either romantic get away or family. Also have bikes and games to share.

I cannot express in words how special this spot is! You feel a million miles away it is so sheltered by beautiful trees, but you are minutes away from all the good stuff Napa Valley has to offer! Mike the proprietor is a super star host, brimming with both charm and knowledge. We were welcomed by the team and enjoyed a special house made Nochino (maybe spelled wrong!) a delicious walnut liquor. We had a quick tour of the property which is gorgeous and even had a peek into one of the largest cottages with some history about the original property owners, Mike is a wonderful storyteller! The cottages are well-appointed with so many thoughtful details-excellent robes (I regret not buying one!), a lovely spa bathtub (best bath pillow ever!) and even a complimentary bath bomb-quality toiletries, towels and great water pressure in shower. The beds and pillows were truly comfortable and the softest sheets! The little kitchen was just what you needed to enjoy fresh local eggs (provided) along with your pastry fairy delivery of most excellent Bouchon treats (once you spy the line out the door at the bakery you will appreciate this even MORE). There was even a bottle of complimentary wine from a local winery and an assortment of snacks. The honor bar was a nice touch and of course included a famous Napa wine that we HAD to try! Our private patio was set up for an evening fire and all the gear needed was tucked away in the coffee table for easy access. Even the blinds on the windows are genius! This is such a special place, and I feel so lucky that we discovered it! We will indeed be back. If you are undecided about where to stay-stop looking, this is it!

Cannot say enough good things about The Cottages of Napa Valley! The attention to detail and level of comfort are unparalleled. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin with another couple and had plenty of space. We enjoyed hanging out around the kitchen table and around one of the outdoor fireplaces. The breakfast and bed linens were also top notch. Mike is a fabulous host. We wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else when visiting Wine Country!

The cottages are very conveniently located to all the wine country has to offer. They provide free bikes with the bike path right outside the door. The separate cottages provide total privacy, spacious comfort and a modern bathroom complete with lovely heated tile floor and premium toiletries. Each has a very comfy couch and totally equipped kitchenette. The bed linens/pillow very high quality and .the breakfast basket with out of this world pastries from Bouchon Bakery and fresh squeezed orange juice was the perfect cherry on top of our wonderful stay. Mike ,the proprietor was on hand with help and fun stories .We loved our time with him and his property—

Our recent stay was fabulous as it always is. We’ve been coming to the cottages for many years after trying other places throughout the valley. The proximity to all that the valley has to offer including the valley bike trail across the street from the cottages is perfect. We always look forward to the Bouchon goodies in the morning without having to wait in line at the bakery. The kindness and helpfulness of Mike and his staff are unmatched.

Stayed at The Cottages mid March, 2025 with my wife and our oldest, who is 27, and we had an exceptional experience. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the unit we stayed in was everything we wanted, plus. Very comfortable for the 3 of us, with lots of space and great amenities. The morning pastries were delicious and a special treat. The purpose of our stay was to visit select wineries, and The Cottages was a great location for us. Most importantly to me the setting was quite relaxing, and while at the Cottages we felt like we were removed from the hustle and bustle of the Valley. I initially had some concern that noise from the highway might be a problem, but that was not an issue. Mike, the owner, went out of his way to meet us, and we had a great visit one evening by the fire pit getting to know one another. When you visit, be sure to check out the game room. I will stay at The Cottages again when the opportunity arises, and would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cottages of Napa Valley. The cottages were charming, with thoughtful touches throughout that made the experience feel extra special. Each morning at 7:30, we were greeted with fresh, delicious pastries from the local Bouchon Bakery—such a treat! Eggs, orange juice, and coffee were also readily available in the cottage, adding to the comfort and convenience.||The cottage itself was spotless, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the location was ideal for exploring Napa. Mike was an exceptional host—he welcomed us with wine and gave us a personal tour, proudly showing the care and effort he’s put into the property.||We can’t wait to return!

Yelp
This is a biased review. Why? Because I'm sitting on the expansive patio, fresh press-brewed Peets in my hand along with a Mumm mimosa, eating a just-delivered sticky bun from Bouchon while reading the NYT on a pristine and gorgeous New Year's Day morning looking out at the incredible old growth fig, olive, redwood, and fruit-bearing Meyer lemon trees after an amazing nights sleep in a heavenly, gigantic bed in one of two perfectly appointed rooms in the 2 bedroom cottage (#9) while I write this. Check in was a breeze. Mumm was chilled, waiting on the table. As was the s'more basket. As was the dog bowl, already filled with water and treats. As was the beautiful Christmas tree and live table wreath. As were the L'Occitane bath products. And the lovely robes and slippers. And the super soft bath towels. And the outdoor blankets for the enormous yard we have all to ourselves. In addition to the games room. And the bikes to ride. And the Chardonnay in the fridge. And the bucket of snacks. Or the gigantic, two head showers in both bathrooms. Or the enormous jacuzzi tubs (yes, plural). Or the yoga mats. Not a detail is missing in this place. There is a huge table and extra chairs should you want to have guests (there is room galore for guests, and we are a party of four with a dog!). Umbrellas. Picnic backpacks. Excellent Wi-Fi. (Pro tip - we brought our Fire stick but Netflix is available without it.) The single imperfection is that the lacquer on the dining table was slightly tacky/sticky and made it hard to play Catan and Monopoly. Easy fix - in the laundry room cupboard, there are tablecloths so just slap that down and game on!!! Cannot wait to return in the warmer months with a ton of friends and family to take the place over for tastings, relaxation, touring, and barbecues in the huge yard! We LOVE IT HERE!

Yelp
We have traveled a lot and this is probably the most cozy and amazing place we have stayed. Everything about this stay was perfect. The cottage is nice and private. It has its own parking space. The fire pits are prepped every day and very easy to use. Wherever you sit in or outside of the cottage it js very private. The shower is amazing with fantastic water pressure. The bathroom floor was heated. Wonderful complementary soaps. The bed was very comfortable and there was also a comfortable sofa to sit on as well. The room comes with a Bluetooth music speaker preloaded with smooth and relaxing Jazz. There was also a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee pot, toaster, tea kettle, refrigerator. The property is beautiful and the staff is very detailed and nice. Check in and check out was a breeze. I could type more but you should just go see it for yourself.

Yelp
Everything about this place was magic. From beginning to end and everything in between. The owner left nothing out when considering people's stay. Where to start? We were greeted by Mike the owner with a beautiful glass of red wine. He gave us a tour of the grounds including the hangout/lounge room that had games and hand made furniture (made by mike himself). He told us the story of how his cottages came to be, and made us feel so welcomed and at home. He opened up the cottage for us and gave us some history behind it and a tour of the cottage. We were greeted in our room by a chilled bottle of Mumm and a handwritten anniversary postcard with our cottage picture on the front. There was a binder that contained the information to everything you needed to know about the cottage(all the way down to making fresh French press coffee with your freshly delivered Bouchon Bakery basket)and then so much more! Quality Loccitane bath toiletries and a beautiful bathroom with a soaker tub/shower and heated tile floors. Fresh robes and brand new slippers. Tea, sodas, waters, fresh orange juice, and another bottle of yummy chilled Chardonnay. A cute bucket of treats displayed on the table. Bluetooth stereo system with preloaded romantic music. A cute fire pit pre loaded with firewood to make s'mores on! ( given upon request $10). Private back pergola with a picnic table chairs, private curtains and another fire pit! The list seriously could go on and on. We would stay here a million times over. Hotels have nothing on the cottages of Napa Valley. We will be back and tell all of our friends and family (who we haven't told already) about the dreamy cottages of Napa Valley

Yelp
Our stay at the Cottages of Napa Valley was absolutely perfect. The cottage was super cozy and clean--from the decor to the cleanliness, the staff's amazing attention to detail was evident. The customer service throughout was excellent. Everyone was so warm and responsive. Whenever we needed something (including help with a maintenance issue that arose), someone came to check in almost immediately. The pastries delivered every morning were such a nice touch and very delicious. Would highly recommend the cottages for cozy getaway. I was initially nervous because the cottages had no negative reviews--it seemed too good to be true. But it totally was just that amazing. (*One note: The cottages are directly off a smaller highway, but they've done a good job to make it feel like a little oasis despite that fact with tall hedges and a fountain that helps mask any highway noise. We heard some road noise when in the common lawn, but it wasn't that bad and inside our cottage it was lovely and quiet.)

Yelp
Third time here, third time's a charm and so were the first and second. Front desk people are super friendly and poured wine glasses as greetings. The Cottages are still amazing. Cozy, comfortable, romantic, fun. You get your own little bungalow with a big bed, stocked kitchenette, snacks, TV with Roku and massive tub. A Bouchon bakery basket still greets you on the front step every morning. Delicious! The kitchen has Peet's coffee too with cream and sugar in the kitchen. Orange juice is in the fridge. The outdoor area is a quaint, quiet patio and garden. Since our last visit a few years ago, they added cabanas in the back of every bungalow to have another location for fires and gatherings. We had the pleasure of meeting the property owner this time and he was a nice gentleman. Can't envision not staying here.

B P.

Yelp
A bit pricey but excellent place. The owner is a real treat to meet and spend time with. Highly recommended.

Yelp
10/10 Exceptional Accommodations perfectly located between Napa & Yountville. Cottage with patio was extremely clean and comfortable, updated bathroom & Shower, nicely equipped kitchen, private firepit with split wood and starter materials, use of board games and bicycles & helmets. Woke to find complimentary fresh pastries & daily news paper, at the doorstep each morning. Extremely friendly & helpful staff. Will definitely be returning for another memorable stay.

Yelp
So so so perfect -- we stayed here for the first few days of our honeymoon and had no regrets. From the bouchon pastries to the fire pit and s'mores to the Jacuzzi tub and French press coffee maker, it was wonderful. Would recommend to anyone wanting a private, cozy, luxurious experience and not wanting the commercial feel of a hotel.

Leslie T.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor - stay in one of the cozy cottages while in the Valley. This is probably our 4th or 5th trip here since 2008 but our first in almost 7 years. It's warm, welcoming and super charming in a very central location. Mike the owner walks around and greets and chats with the guests, each room has their own FirePit and chairs on a private patio and vouching bakery pastries are delivered to your doorstep each morning. The kitchenettes are fully stocked and you can make your morning coffee while you enjoy the amazing trees on the property. And the price is very reasonable if you want attentive service and comfortable amenities. Highly recommend the cottages and we will hopefully be back very soon

Yelp
For my wife's recent birthday, I decided to surprise her with a weekend in the Napa wine country. As usual I went looking for a bed & breakfast. My choice was the Cottages of Napa Valley. Their reviews and website only begins to describe the fantastic experience and amenities. The little personal touches were better than found at any 5 star resort hotel. It started with the glass of wine at check in and finished with a phone call after we arrived home. On Kim's birthday there was a special pastry complete with candle and birthday wishes in our breakfast basket. Michael the owner and his staff have it together. The mature garden setting created a quiet elegance. The cottage was not only comfortably furnished complete with fireplace, but also has modern up grades like heated tile floors in the bathroom. Then there is the walking shower and BainUltra air tub. The refrigerator was stocked with an assortment of beverages including a bottle of wine and snacks there were on the dining table. Outside the front door was our own fire pit and there was also a private covered porch along side. They offer complete concierge and car services and in room couples massages. We totally enjoyed our weekend and would not only recommend the Cottages of Napa Valley to anyone planning on visiting the Napa area, but already have.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at The Cottages of Napa. It was a very charming, quiet, clean and well maintained place with tons of character. The location was great and so was Mike (the owner, very personable). Each cottage had its own fire pit that was restocked with wood each day along with amenities inside the condo, fresh OJ, water, soda, coffee grounds, pastries for breakfast etc. I appreciated the heated floors in the bathroom and comfortable bed. We came with 7 other couples for 4 days and all agreed this was a great experience all around. The cottages are spread apart enough with good landscaping that still makes each one feel very private. We will definitely tell more friends and family about this place and be back in the future.

Yelp
I wish I could give it more. The room is beautiful from the jet tub and heated tile floors in bathroom to the comfortable bed with fireplace next to it and stocked kitchen with coffee, creamer, sugar, complimentary bottle of wine, bottled waters and snacks. Then the daily delivery of basket of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, newspaper and Bouchon bakery baked goods! (I thought of knocking off a star for few lbs I gained! Lol) The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. You can see other cottages but we never heard anyone next to us. We very much enjoyed the fire pit on our patio every night and the hedges gave us privacy while we were out there. Staff is so friendly, helpful and service was impeccable. Can't say enough good things about this place. Hoping to come back yearly.

Michaela C.

Yelp
This is an amazing and wonderful place to stay. Located just south of Yountville, it is a short drive to Napa proper and to many of the wineries in the Valley. Wonderful amenities including two private patios with fire pits, breakfast baskets, bikes, and game room. This is the perfect place to get away with loved ones or even just yourself. As of recent they have implemented some serious COVID protocols: contactless check-in and check-out, contactless towel delivery, trash pick up, and breakfast delivery, and the room is left empty 24 hours after your stay before cleaning begins. Truly a place where mangent not only cares about the health of its guests but of it's workers as well.

Yelp
This is such a beautiful location! The amenities are great, the staff was absolutely amazing. It's worth every single penny!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at The Cottages of Napa Valley last weekend. The price is very reasonable, the location is perfect, and the cottages themselves were clean and so cute. Not to mention the check in process was contactless and extremely easy. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Napa.

Yelp
This was a delightful place to stay. Way more relaxing than being at a hotel and super cute. The woman who greeted us when we got there was so nice and we were able to check in almost three hours early. We did not go expecting that and were pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend. It was too hot for us to use all the amenities like the unit specific fire stoves, bicycles, and games but it was so nice knowing they were there. Will go back.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to stay at the Cottages of Napa on my very first visit to Napa -- it's seriously a dream come true! (And the bar has been set impossibly high for every subsequent visit to Napa, ever.) We rented out the 2-bedroom cottage, and got the lower rates as we were there Wed-Thurs nights. I love that the 2-BR cottage is a little secluded from the other ones, with its own spacious front yard and fire pit, and plenty of lawn chairs. The other reviews accurately describe all of the awesomeness of the cottages themselves -- I'll just enthusiastically recommend you relax in the fancy, high-powered bathtubs! I'm personally much more of a shower instead of bath kind of person, but believe me. You NEED to try these out. (On the other hand, the showers in the 2-BR cottage are also awesome and GIGANTIC - literally large enough for several people to comfortably do yoga in it. Insanity!) If we'd been there more than two nights, I also would have loved to grill in the front yard, or borrow one of the four bikes they had on site. And finally, I have to give kudos to the excellent staff and the service they provide. From courteous phone calls to help us set up late check in, to chatting with the owner Mike while he was on the property, five stars all around! Can I come back already?

Yelp
Excellent 2 night stay offering a great little room. Stayed in the #2 cottage. Loved the kitchenette with 2 stove burner, mini fridge. Super comfy bed. And the tub, who can't mention the tub. Baths twice a day. Nice breakfast basket with pastries and the newspaper. Game roo., bike rentals and ice machine in the barn. Super friendly. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I was looking for a hotel to stay at for me and my husband's anniversary. After searching through a couple places, this place still caught my eye. I booked hoping they'd have availability and sure enough, they were able to book us a cute and adorable package! We were able to check in early right when we got there before 4pm check in time and we were served a glass of wine. Now that's service! They toured us around the cottage site and brought us to such a chic and cute cottage. We had chilled champagne already waiting for us inside our cottage along with snacks and some beverages that were complimentary. Now, that's a plus! The kitchenette was well stocked with silverware, microwave, fridge, and fresh Peet's Coffee. It's like truly a home away from home. The bathroom had heated tiles, a deep tub/shower for bathing with a large & beautiful sink. There's also a fireplace next to our comfortable king size bed. Our massage therapists came to give us a couples massage in-room and it was an awesome start to our trip. The cottage space was perfect for us. We had our own private fireplace with furniture outside and a furnished patio. With glasses and bottles of wine and champagne, snacks, a Bouchon Bakery for breakfast.... who wouldn't want to stay here?! Wish we stayed longer. We definitely recommend this place and we will come back! Thank you Cottages of Napa Valley! You made our anniversary so special and memorable!

Mary Margaret G.

Yelp
The Cottages of Napa Valley blew us away during our trip! Mike, the owner, is so hospitable and has the best team that will help in any way they can. Even during a pandemic, we felt so safe and the cottages were so clean. Mike even cooked us dinner one night during our stay and it was delicious! Clean, quaint and convenient- I would absolutely recommend to any couple going to the valley! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We stayed here 3 nights. It's quaint and accommodating and cozy. I could literally live here. We stayed in cottage 1. It was amazing how they pay attention to detail, from the wine waiting for us to the smooth jazz playing on the radio as we entered the cottage to the playful doorstop. The refrigerator was stocked with necessities like coffee, Cream and heart shaped ice cubes. We were provided a breakfast basket every morning, with fresh orange juice and the daily New York Times . We had a fire in the wood stove on our own private patio. It was simply a wonderful stay. I will never go to another place to stay in Napa. I can't say enough about the cottages of Napa. They provided the best service I can imagine . Thank you!!

Such D.

Yelp
Wonderful stay, loved the breakfast in a basket :) we didn't get a chance to light a fire, will have to be back soon for that.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the Cottages of Napa Valley for our honeymoon a couple of years ago. We stayed for a whole week and looking back we wouldn't have changed a thing. The rooms are extremely comfortable and have everything that you need. There's a kitchen complete with a fridge, sink, dish ware, and silverware. The kitchen comes equipped with also coffee and a french press, which for my coffee-loving husband was a huge plus. Every morning they deliver a basket of divine Bouchon pastries right to your door and they definitely don't skimp on the portions. The usual combo consisted of baked pastries, yogurt parfaits, fruit, and orange juice. We always had leftovers. The bathrooms were really nice with a heated floor and I still remember the sink as really interesting! The beds were really comfortable and we really enjoyed using the fireplace at night while we were winding down. The staff are really attentive to details. When we first arrived to our room, they provided a complimentary bottle of wine with a card signed by management congratulating us on our marriage. They also gave us a free guide book on romantic activities in Napa. Everyday when we came back from our daily escapades we found a complimentary goodie on our bed like Bouchon brownie bites (really good) or chocolate. If you're wanting to wind down with a good movie too, the office has a library of DVDs you can borrow for free. If you're looking for a bike ride as well, they can help manage rentals for you. The management and owners are really anxious to giving you the best experience possible. When my husband booked our room and related to the manager that it was our honeymoon they gave us a night free! In addition, when we left we received a coupon good for two years if we were ever to come back. The owner Mike is also really knowledgeable about the wineries and can give you great advice on which ones to visit. He spent literally like 20 minutes explaining to us with a map what kinds of activities and wineries to hit up. All of his recommendations were fantastic. The cottages are a 5 minute drive to Yountville to access all the gourmet restaurants and driving distance to all the great wineries in Napa Valley. All in all, this was such a great place to stay. My husband and I look back on our honeymoon with really fond memories because of this place. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Yelp
My husband and I cannot even begin to describe how magical our stay was at The Cottages of Napa Valley. We used to have a regular place in Napa where we would stay around this time every year- usually after I finished a board exam. Last year we didn't have a good experience at that place, so we booked at the cottages hoping we would have a better one. Let me tell you- this place is the best kept secret in Napa! PACKAGE We purchased a package for Monday-Wednesday which included the two night stay in a cottage, dinner at ad hoc, 2 free tastings for two, ingredients for smores with marshmellows to roast outside the cabin, and champagne (because it was our honeymoon!). AD HOC DINNER We arrived 15 minutes before our ad hoc dinner reservation, and were actually driven to dinner by the staff at the cottages! Dinner at ad hoc was epic, by the way- salad with little gem lettuces, buttermilk fried chicken, cheddar plate, and chocolate cookie with coconut icecream & almond brittle. I am absolutely drooling just thinking about it again. We were picked up from dinner and brought to our cabin. There is actually a list of restaurants and tasting rooms for which they provide car service in their office. CABIN When we stepped into the doorway of our cabin, our jaws dropped just about to our feet. It is so quiet, quaint, and well put together with little frills- very tasteful, neat, clean, and organized decor. We loved everything from the kitchenette, to the comfty bed, ample seating, bathroom with heated tile floors, and beautiful tub/shower. BREAKFAST When we woke up in the morning, we had a beautiful basket of baked goods from bouchon bakery waiting for us outside the door. My husband used the french press and coffee provided in the fridge to make amazing coffee, and we sipped OJ, ate fruit, and feasted on bouchon pastries on our porch! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the jays fly around the patches of California Coastal Redwood which surround the cottage property. TASTINGS Because we were moving, we were not able to take advantage of the tastings- we had to drive home each day to take care of errands and tie up our lives to close the chapter in California. We plan to purchase the package on a weeknight the next time we come so that we can take advantage of all of the elements at that time. CHECK OUT & CUSTOMER SERVICE When we checked out, we were so sad to leave (because it also meant we were moving to the other side of the country the next day). We had a wonderful, comforting conversation with the owners of the cottages who were extremely laid back and easy to talk to. IN CONCLUSION... We will DEFINITELY be back!! We are already looking at my schedule to determine the best time to visit California in either December this year or next June for our 1-year anniversary! The cottages will now forever be our Napa destination!

Yelp
Let me just say that i found this place via Yelp so thank you fellow Yelpers! Its not cheap but it IS beautiful and romantic and ,as Jovanie called it, well appointed. Its just 5 minutes from French Laundry and other fine dining establishments. Its right off the main drag but its super quiet. Their beds are comfortable, the sheets are amazing,I wanted to steal them. They had every amenity you could ask for. we were drinking goblets of jamesons in the giant ass tub and getting pummeled by the air jets because i kept stabbing at buttons and refusing to read the directions. They bring you a basket with breakfast from bouchon bakery in the morning along with the paper. Its quiet, secluded and the people that work there are friendly and professional. we'll be going back oh and best thing is, no 2 night required stay on the weekend!!!!!! thank you cottages at napa!

Yelp
As proof of how I much I love this place, it KILLS me to even see it on Yelp. I want to keep this place a secret - it's that good. Everything Diana L said in her reivew is what I would have put down. Just a few additions: - We stayed there for Valentines and loved how secluded, quiet and out of the way the location was. - We loved the daily breakfast basket with OJ and fresh baked goods from Bouchon's bakery. The treats on the bed were yummy as well. - I wish it were a little warmer so that we could have started our fire outside, but that weekend it drizzled a little. - There was a little wine & cheese gathering that evening. Am sure it was lovely, but hob-nobbing was not on our list of things to do. To be honest, when we saw a dude in a saling jacket with big gold buttons boasting loudly with wine glass in hand - we instintively thought: uhm...PASS! - The cottages were convenient to most wineries in the valley. We loved getting off the main highway and tried the Silverado Trail - that was a nice and peaceful drive. Overall, thank you Napa Cottages for great acoomodations in a relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
I would really like to give this place 10 stars. This was such a perfect experience for my wife and I. Right from the beginning we were taken care of with the best customer service and that continued our entire stay. Rosemary and Kelci were just wonderful with ideas for places we need to go or see and for driving us to and from Yountville for dinner and drinks. The owner Mike is such a nice guy. Would always ask how things are going and if we needed anything. We were greeted with a bottle of Champagne upon our arrival, it was our honeymoon. The beds are so comfortable, you really don't want to climb out but you are in Napa so you better. The breakfast that gets delivered every morning is delicious. Closing the nights with a bon fire is just a perfect ending to a great day We will be back 1000% sure. Can't get there soon enough.

Yelp
This was my first trip to Napa and my man made sure it was PERFECT! The Cottages were a most excellent place to start! I was already completely in love just seeing photos on their website! The attention to detail in the cottages is spot on! There is just about everything you could ever need here. The fully stocked kitchen was wonderful, complete with Peets coffee and a french press and darling dishware just to name a few. The bathroom with heated tile floors was fabulous, L'occitane products and a big tub for two was something we enjoyed at least once a day. Sadly, the water pressure from the overhead shower left little to be desired. Comfy bed, plush towels, big patio with a porch swing for two and a fireplace in the front of our cottage where we enjoyed a fire at night sitting in the robes provided. A small note of little to no closet space. There was no room really to hang anything, so we had to keep clothes in our suitcases. We were here for 3 days, so that would have been a better feature to have. That aside, the grounds are beautiful and maintained incredibly well. It's so secluded, we barely saw any other guests. The one thing that we really found above and beyond exceptional was the Bouchon basket every morning! It was such a lovely and quite delicious touch that we really enjoyed and started off day off in the best way possible. We remarked several times on how nearly everything was thought out very well. We had arranged for a massage on our patio deck that was really lovely. It felt wonderful to be outside among the beautiful trees and peaceful nature setting. I would strongly recommend doing this. Move those toxins out from all the wine you have tasted while up here! :) I will say we did have a few inconsistencies with the Concierge Service regarding communication on their end, we brought our concerns to their attention and they were quite generous in comping us a free night for a future visit to make up for the issues that we had. I cannot wait to come back here! It's pretty fabulous.

Yelp
When we first figured out that we were staying right on the main drag we were a little concerned but as soon as we pulled into the parking lot we realized the Cottages feel like they are in a little heavenly bubble. The service is impeccable and it's clear that the management has learned over the years what a guest might need. Everything from slippers in the bathroom to a serrated knife in the kitchenette is provided. I was ready to complain about the dim lighting until I figured out most of the switches have dimmer levers on them (LOL!). Yes, these are pricey but worth every penny. Comfortable beds, large towels, cozy fireplace, Buchoun Bakery full size pastries every morning, free transportation to local eateries, and the list goes on and on. We can't wait to return!

Yelp
This place is heaven! Every little thing is taken care of from the incredibly comfortable huge king size beds to the Bouchon bakery breakfast delivered to your cabin each morning to the outside fire and Adirondack chairs. We stayed in a King cabin with four women for a friends 40th and had a perfect time. The cabins are spacious, well laid out with enormous bathrooms and the most heavenly tub I've ever seen. The cottages are beautifully appointed and very private, separated by large hedges and the property is speckled with huge trees and a lovely lawn area. We were so well taken care of for lunch bookings and wine tours and it all made our trip extra special. This is a total gem in Napa and a much better experience than a hotel.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with a romantic get away to these adorable, private cottages! You're greater with a glass of wine upon arrival and showed to your cottage. When we walked in there was music playing and was so warm and welcoming. Yvonne was great! She was so friendly and even drove us to and from dinner in Yountville. The owner of the cabins, Mike, even came and greeted us before dinner. From the heated bathroom floor tiles, to the breakfast basket delivery, AND the super comfortable bed, we will most definitely be staying again!

Yelp
Super cute and relaxing hotel. The owner came by and said hi. He was super nice. The hotel is in the heart of Napa. Many Restaurant's and winery's near by.

Yelp
When I travel...and I do pretty often, I live by hope. The Hoooope that our choice of hotel, inn, castle, apartment, loft, cottage is one of those places you go to and dream of returning .... For the moment I met Nina over the phone when I called to make a reservation, I knew we were in good hands. You just know. It felt right. She was even there to greet me and our three guests with a (hand-picked by the owner) cabernet. Served in the proper cab glasses...handed to us as we stepped into the office before we even checked in. Right then and there I knew... "I'll dream about when I'll be back" Things I loved about this place...and there are many... -The music selection, that she had playing when we entered our room, with the lite fireplace (It would have felt like I was in a movie if she had the tub running) -Complimentary Sauv Blanc chilled perfectly hanging out in the refrigerator just in case we preferred a white over a red 2016-Silver Trident Symphony-No-9-Sauvignon-Blanc aged in stainless steel barrels with a light touch of neutral French oak -The bottle of California sparkling wine that she left for us as a gift, with a hand written thank you note -Complimentary snack selection in the kitchen -The square footage of our room, very spacious -The living room sofa -The beautiful plant on the coffee table -The kitchen was fully equipped if you wish to cook with gas burners -The coffee was kept fresh -The juice was freshly squeezed -The private outdoor patio outside our kitchen door -The complimentary bicycles left outside for riding around this scenic area -The deep soaking jet tub with pillow -The double sinks in the bathroom which were joined -The grounds were private and cozy and not overly done -After returning from dinner cozying up to the outdoor private fire pit that accompanies each of the individual cottages -It was the perfect ending to a long day The things I did not like...a couple of big ones for me -I found ice cream in the freezer, which made me think for a second..WOW, they really think of EVERY detail. I thought it was left for us but when I opened it, sooo excited to eat it, was already partially eaten so I knew it was left by a previous guest. Which indicates that the room did not have a proper final check before turning it over to us. -I knew in advance that a Bouchon Bakery basket would arrive in the morning, so I tried to order in advance, (through the Cottages) 4 sandwiches to be delivered with the basket to take with us for an-on-the-go fast paced day of wine tastings which began pretty early, which left us no time to stop at the bakery. I was concerned that too much wine , (with back to back appointments) and too little food would not work out for the better. I was turned down without proper explanation as to why this seemingly simple request couldn't be accomplished. - The bed was too high, not sure why No place is perfect but The cottages at Napa Valley comes pretty close.

Yelp
It almost feels silly to review the Cottages because at the time of writing there are 58 reviews and it has 5 stars overall. 57 of the reviews are 5 star and someone gave it 4. This place is paradise. It's quaint, easy to get everywhere, and the staff is fantastic. These people know Napa inside and out and everywhere we went, the winemakers and their staff knew the Cottages. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, most cozy place I've ever stepped in, and probably the best service I'll ever get at a place I stay. I hope to get back for some more days in paradise.

Yelp
I love this place. It really felt like home away from home. I definitely recommend the cottages.

Yelp
Very quaint and well appointed. A hidden gem in Napa Valley. Much better than a hotel with a staff that is top notch.

Yelp
My husband had to drag me out of the cottages kicking and screaming. I have never in my life loved a hotel more. The cottages were charming and it was the most luxurious bed I ever did sleep in. Also the bouchon basket delivery in the am was nuts. It wasn't some lil lame basket it was at least 3 pastries. Def enough for breakfast. But what made the cottages my home away from home was the staff. These were the nicest people I had ever met. The owner mike took my husband and I personally on our wine tour. He got lunch for us and even got burgers with us. Fab fab

Yelp
Look, if you are going to wine country, you want to be near Yountville, not Napa. Most of the good wineries are well north of Napa. Yountville has some really fine restaurants and shopping, and just south is The Cottages of Napa. You will be staying in your own private cottage, complete with a small kitchen and a nicely appointed bath. Attention to detail is excellent, and the grounds are immaculately maintained and just flat out beautiful. If you are a big hotel type, this isn't for you, but if you want to try something a little different and much more cozy and romantic, this is it. Go for it...thank me later.

Yelp
I went for a birthday weekend and did not want to leave. The cottages were clean, cozy, and relaxing. Major highlights: heated tiles in the bathroom; fireplace; a luxurious spa/tub; complimentary baskets of Bouchon pastries, fresh orange juice, and daily newspaper left at the door every morning; complimentary rides to dinner in the evenings; outdoor fire pit; and Mike was welcoming and a wonderful host. I can't wait to go back and would highly recommend this lovely place to all.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here for a 3 day get-away when we saw that they had a deal for two nights with dinner at Ad-Hoc thrown in. When you first pull up and walk inside, the word that comes to mind is "charming", and the initial impression is only re-enforced through out the entire stay. The staff is wildly helpful, and the cottages are wonderfully appointed. We would have loved to stay for a week, as they are set up as a beautiful home-away-from-home.

Yelp
What is there NOT to love about the Cottages of Napa Valley? They take care of you from the time you book your reservation to the time you leave. Kellie reached out to us after we made our reservations and helped us come up with an itinerary for our entire stay! We loved every place that she recommended to us to eat or visit and were extremely grateful for all her help. When I finally got to meet her, I felt like I was hugging a long time friend. Between our flight and driving over to Napa, we weren't going to make it there before the front desk left for the day, so I emailed them and they told me not to worry, gave me our cabin number and told us the door would be unlocked and the charcuterie plate I had requested would be waiting for us when we got there. When we got there, the lights were on, soft jazz was playing and the cabin was so warm, cozy and inviting. They left us a note welcoming us and letting us know that our charcuterie and a complementary bottle of wine and champagne (for our honeymoon) was in the fridge. As well as our itinerary and maps for the week. The thermostat would turn the fire on when it would get too cold and the bathroom floors were heated! The bath tub was a big soaking tub with plenty of hot water and the shower had really good water pressure. They supplied a bar of soap as well as lotion, shampoo and conditioner. I brought some bath balls to enjoy in the soaking tub. Every morning between 8-8:30, there would be a basket of food left at our front doorstep filled with fresh pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice and a newspaper. We jokingly called them the breakfast ninjas, because we never saw them drop off the food (even when we had the curtains drawn and were peeking out every few minutes). Coffee grounds were in the fridge to be used in the coffee maker or the french press. The mini fridge is perfect to hold whatever wine or snacks you've accumulated on the way. There's also a little picnic backpack for you to use while you are there - it has an insulated pocket and another pocket filled with dishes, utensils, wine glasses and a bottle opener. We had a front porch with a small table and chairs, a swing and a bench. Our "back yard" had a fire place and a bench. Our "front yard" had several chairs, a small table and a fire place. We had a glass of wine out in the front with the fire going every night after dinner. They even have a big throw blanket for you to use. They also have a shuttle service that takes you to and from Yountville every night. Everything about this place was so magical, I just couldn't believe it was real. I felt like I was in a movie set or something. The only thing that disappointed me was that we could never get a good wifi connection. At first, we though it was due to the cable not working in our cabin (something they emailed me about prior to us arriving and offered us another cabin, but we declined). But after the cable was supposed to be fixed, we still had a hard time finding wifi. Not a huge deal to us, since it was nice to be unplugged. This place is magical and every employee we talked with made us feel so welcomed. (Did I mention that Kellie is a godsend?) If you are a Gilmore Girls fan like me, you'll feel like you've stepped into Stars Hallow. We can't wait to come back here!

Yelp
This place is truly truly deserving of 5 stars; and if Yelp had a system in which 1 bazillion stars could be given, I would gladly give them. As much as I would like to keep this place a secret for myself and my friends, the staff and owners deserve as much business as I personally can give them. It is extremely romantic, peaceful, and serene here. Waking up to the singing of birds every morning and knowing that fresh pastries from Bouchon Bakery are waiting at the front door were just an added bonus. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Yountville and it's great restaurants (Bouchon, Redd, and Mustard's Grill to name a few) is just a few minutes away. I cannot think of anything bad about this place except for the fact that my girlfriend and I had to check out and go home.

Yelp
The accommodations (beautiful and spotless) amenities (fully equipped kitchenette complete with complementary snacks, soft drinks and wine, car service, concierge service.....) hospitality and location are unmatched! Wonderful privacy. This place is a gem! We visited during COVID and felt 100% safe!

Yelp
I loved this place! Ever since I heard about it, I have been dying to go to the Cottages, especially after reading all the wonderful reviews on Yelp. My boyfriend decided to surprise me by taking me here last minute and it was perfect. We stayed in Cottage 1 and it was so amazing! It was so peaceful and so quiet. Mary showed us around the Cottage and I was shocked over complimentary food but I never heard of that before. Mary and the young lady at the front desk (whose name escapes me) were such perfect host. When we needed a taxi to go anywhere, they called the company for us and arranged for the pick up. The young lady was especially helpful when we had problems with our oven. Although my boyfriend finally figured it out, she gave a bottle of champagne on the house. I only have two regrets about this place. 1) I wish I could have stayed at least 3 more days. 2) I wish I could have tried out that big tub. We're already making plans to visit for more days next year.

Yelp
Enjoyed a perfect stay here in mid-December. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, well-maintained and kept. Like a storybook. Amazing breakfast basket delivered to the doorstep every morning with goodies from buchon bakery!! Yum! Our cabin had a kitchenette, complete with complimentary goodies. both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces were easy to use and gorgeous. ...And can we talk about the heated bathroom tiles!OMG. Hashtag life goals. Can't forget the best concierge of all time, Rosemary!!! She is such a beautiful spirit and so knowledgeable about everything to go see and do...and lots of other stuff. She helped make the the trip amazing. What a gem! Worth. every. penny. Makes for a lovely getaway...especially for a romantic one. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
You know, when my wife and I first booked this place, we thought it would be a nice get away, but I wasn't expecting much. When we arrived, it blew my mind. This is one of the most immaculate places I've ever stayed in. There's a fire pit outside to enjoy the warmth of a fire. They'll even supply you with smores. There's a king sized bed inside. It's comfy. There's a bottle of wine in the fridge and champagne chilled in an ice bucket for us. In the morning, I got the New York Times and we munched on baked goods from Bouchon's. The bathtub is fun. Kitchen was cute. EVERYTHING about the Cottage was amazing. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
This Inn is incredible! Four of us stayed in their 2 Bedroom cottage for a long weekend. Wish we could have stayed for a month! The fridge was well stocked with some essential staples and a delicious continental breakfast from Bouchon (that could have fed 8) was delivered fresh each morning. We had our own outdoor fireplace with a seating area. Mike, the owner, dropped by to chat one evening while we were enjoying the fire. The entire staff is friendly, accommodating and eager to make your stay comfortable down to the last detail. We hope to return the next time we visit Napa Valley. Thanks for a memorable experience!

Yelp
Best vacation we ever had! The staff is great and the cottage was very romantic. We spent our honeymoon here and are going back this December. Take the wine tours and be sure to rest up.. A lot of wine!
