The Counter Review - Notting Hill - London - The Infatuation

"At this low-lit Notting Hill spot, being the first to arrive is a good thing. It means you get the whole romantic restaurant to yourselves; time to peruse the menu before it gets too rowdy to discuss it; and the chance to have a moment of silence for the sensational sweet and salty clotted cream and pide bread starter. The Counter serves Turkish food with exciting twists that work: babaganoush has white chocolate in it and tzatziki has a nice tang from pickles. While dishes like the dry-aged beef sirloin are perfectly cooked, we think the starters and small plates are the best part. So bring a date who’s down to split a bunch of quirky dishes, or a couple of close friends and order the clotted cream, pickled tzatziki, and cheese saganaki. And despite the restaurant's name, we’re fans of the lower seating where it feels like you’re part of the action without it being chaotic. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Rianne Shlebak

Google
A good place to grab some burgers. You can customize your own burgers here, or just order their special burgers. Both options are good. We ordered one The Counter and one Bacon BBQ burger, one Fifty-Fifty, one Buffalo Wings and one BBQ Chicken Salad. My personal favorite would be The Counter Burger. It tasted really good. The sweet potato fries were delicious, better than potato fries. Salad was okay. The buffalo wings were a bit too spicy. My dislike for this one was that they only serve celery as side vegetables. I don’t like celery 😔 usually, there should be both carrots and celery as side vegetable for buffalo wings. The restaurant was not busy but the service was extremely slow. It was hard to get the attention of the waitress.

Google
The Counter is one of my favorite restaurants. I do the Build-Your-Own every time and as far as the toppings go, I select 17 of the 25 options and it’s delicious every single time. Lettuce blend, organic mixed greens, baby spinach, carrot strings, quinoa, hard boiled egg, pepperoncinis, tomato, roasted grape tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts, red onion, grilled red onions, scallions, mixed olives, marinated artichokes, dill pickles, and roasted red peppers. The food is always great quality. My last visit at this location, the restaurant was empty. This is a huge plus on Saturday in Los Angeles. Koby, the server, was excellent. The one negative about The Counter is that it is quite expensive. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
A great place to stop by after a long day at work. I got the tater tots to start with, and they were perfect, served hot and fresh, and just the right ratio of soft to crunchy. I got the counter burger, which comes with provolone cheese, fried onions, mushrooms, lettuce and tomatoes. I got rid of the cheese and tomatoes, and I was immensely satisfied. Service is very fast and friendly, and the restaurant despite spacious with many booths available. And let me just say, they were very generous with the shoestring fries which pair well with the aioli garlic sauce.

Google
Counter Burger might be one of the most expensive burger chains, but I think most of it is worth it. This area doesn’t have much tourism or business so I think I don’t think it’s ever busy here. The servers were very nice and the place is just generally relaxing and chill. The build-your-own burger gives you the chance to pack in a unique experience with so many different options and having your burger cooked rare to well. Get ready to unlock your jaw and eat a monster of a burger if you get a bunch of toppings. If you’re not in for a big meal. They have good Happy Hour options from sides, drinks, and full on combo meals.

Google
We had a couple of build-your-own burgers. Honestly, I’m not sure any 1/3 lb burger is worth $14.50—especially when it doesn’t include any premium toppings. I’ve had better burgers for half the price at The Habit. The sides weren’t anything special either. Overall, just average food at a high price. The bar looked decent, but we went for lunch and didn’t order anything from there.

Google
located next to the La Brea Tar Pit made it really accessible while visiting the area. Enjoyed a fast and easy lunch simply ordering the burger on menu, however if you want to order your own style, you can do this hear easily. Pick whatever you want to have in your own burger.

Google
I recently visited The Counter and found it packed. While the food was great, I’m leaving this review to give special recognition to the hostess. With limited servers on hand, she went above and beyond by stepping in to take our orders and ensure we received our food when she noticed how long we had been waiting. The overall experience could have been smoother, but her dedication and willingness to step up made a huge difference. Her hard work didn’t go unnoticed, and it should be recognized.

Google
The last time we ate at the counter restaurant was over 10 years ago when they had a location in roseville ca. Luckily, we just stumbled on this location during a visit to the la brea tar pits, and it was lunch time. The big part to this restaurant is the build your own burger sheet. Picking all the items you want makes the experience. The burgers themselves are good after all you made it, along with the shoe string and sweet potato fries. Now, for a few marks against. As this is not a corporate restaurant which I found out is what closed in roseville, the shakes are not as think or as large as before. The old experience had thick shakes vs the more liquid ones we had. It's still good, though. Another is the food here aint cheap, so be ready to spend a little. Lastmark is toast the bottom bun. My burger had a soggy bun when I ate my second half.

Yelp
The counter has always been a nostalgic place to go to for my friends and I. We go ice skating every December to the rink and stuff ourselves with these custom made burgers. I love the customization and the sauces too! You order selecting your choices on the paper given to you. The vibes is a sit down restaurant and once you get your meal you will taste the masterpiece you created. I personally like this location as it's near the museums but it's the same concept at others.

Yelp
Visited Monday at 3pm -- walked by and decided to stop in specifically for their happy hour draft beer. We came with the intent of enjoying their happy hour pricing on beer on tap. Upon entering, the bartender informed us that the tap machine wasn't working. He then suggested bottled beer as an alternative, but did not initially mention that it wouldn't be included in happy hour pricing -- we only found that out after asking. The bartender said he would speak to the manager about honoring happy hour pricing for the bottled beers, which seemed fair given the situation, so we went ahead and ordered. The beer that did come from the tap was warm, overly foamy, and tasted close to spoiled. Despite what we were told, we were still charged full price for the bottled beers. No one from management came out to explain the situation, apologize, or offer any kind of accommodation. The manager never showed face, and there was zero accountability for the inconvenience. As a waitress myself, I know things can go wrong but how you handle it matters. In this case, it was handled poorly from start to finish: unclear communication, false assurances, and a complete lack of presence from management. That absence added another layer of dismissiveness to an already disappointing experience.

Yelp
Not sure what to eat? Try a burger! Better yet make it your own! I did and I don't regret it! The service was very nice and helpful to get us what we wanted. And I am in awe of the place, not what you expect from a joint across the LaBrea Tar Pits. Really lovely place!

Yelp
I came to the area for the museum and wanted just a quick bite, so I decided to stop by here. Veggies were fresh, it has a high-quality bun, perfectly toasted with a slight crisp on the outside while remaining soft and fluffy inside, holding everything together nicely, and the 1/3-pound patty was thick and juicy. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was super clean. The only reason I'm giving 4.5 stars instead of 5 is that the patty was a bit too salty for my taste. Other than that, it's a solid burger spot and a reasonably priced meal compared to other options in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Counter is located at a prime spot on Wilshire, right across the street from the La Brea Tarpits. The Counter is a casual family restaurant that focuses on burgers, fries, shakes and non-beef alternatives burgers and sandwiches. The dining area is roomy, airy with lots of sunlight with medium noise. There is also a large outdoor eating area. It was dog-friendly 12 years ago but I haven't check recently. Service is friendly. On weekends, it can get pretty busy but servers are attentive and friendly. Now the food. I don't come here consistently, but in my last visit (yesterday) I wonder why I don't come here often. I noticed that they have lunch specials and happy hour so I may have to come by and visit. In the past, I used to modify my order with their check list. It is a great way to order great food that caters to my taste, especially during times when I want to be low carb or paleo. The past few times I have been here, I have been ordering the Bacon BBQ, medium and parmesan fries. The burger is $17.50 and the fries, I believe was $5 -$6 and they are served generously. They are also known for their shakes! Though I haven't bought one for myself, I have sampled my companions' orders and it is quite delicious, easily can be shared with two people. My favorite has been the smoked s'mores. There is ample parking in their parking structure behind them but they changed the entrance. You would have to drive a little bit farther north to see the entrance. Make sure you validate your parking ticket, giving you about 90 mins free or discounted.

Yelp
Tried a different location before and was disappointed by this one. Service was not good at all. Server didn't write down my allergies and didn't provide an update before the food came out. When I asked the same guy about allergies for the third time, he gave me a pad of paper to write on and dismissively said the food was fine. He also admitted to not checking my kid's order before it went out and didn't take mine seriously after he kept getting it wrong. My order came out wrong twice and so did my kids order but we were starving so we just dealt with it. What we actually ended up trying: chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and the mini hamburgers with parmesan fries. The burgers were "meh" while the fries + tenders straight up tasted gross. It may be because of the location but it was so bad that I wouldn't want to try elsewhere again. This location was surprisingly not busy for dinner on weekend night. About half of the seats were empty so the only good thing I can say is that we didn't have to wait to be seated. The wait for the food was ridiculous though and knowing that they kept messing up our orders despite it not being busy makes me concerned for the times that it is busy. That's a triple no for ambiance/vibes too. Was gonna give two stars overall but then took away a star for having to pop an allergy pill. Thank God I didn't have to use the epipen though I guess. TL;DR: Dear Counter, do better with allergies.

Yelp
Great place with outdoor patio seating and lots of indoor seating with many TVs on the wall. We walked in, no host at the door but they'll acknowledge and tell you to sit anywhere you desire. I ordered a Diet Coke for my beverage. It's been way too long since I've had a DC. It tasted too sweet and a bit flat. I also asked for sliced lemon but it was not included with the drink. Service was good not great. I had a side salad with my burger. The group ordered a large side of fries as well. So why do you bring the entrees first? That is backwards! Lol. If you want to execute great service then think of the small things that really matter. I'd rather not make a ruckus out of minor service goofs at during a project group lunch. I'm super happy it was on the office's expense though. Haha! So, my PM said we all made it under the $30 per person limit! Lol.

Yelp
I really used to love this place, as evidenced by my prior review. This is my second bad pick up experience on a take out order but this one was worthy of a review. Waited for one of the three people behind the bar to acknowledge my presence for several minutes before two other customers who arrived separately came in from another door. Instead of greeting me, the server immediately spoke to a man who came in much later than me. He went to get his order and I spoke up by saying " my order should be ready too." Server smirked when bringing back the bag and greeting the second customer who arrived even later. Avoiding eye contact with me. A second person, possibly a bar back because he was wearing a different shirt, asked my name, still not making eye contact. The bar back brought me my bag as the server, still careful not to make eye contact, asked how I was paying. Barback swooped in and asked for my phone for apple pay, taking it from my hand and heading to a register a few feet into the bar- not the register that they usually use near the take out line. Everyone still never making eye contact with me while interacting with the other customers. Upon my departure, the original server mumbled some greeting and I stopped and asked why he'd been so careful not to make eye contact or apologize for ignoring me when I'd clearly been waiting. He mumbled that he was sorry and that he was new. New? What does that have to do with manners? The guy who rang me up seemed annoyed to have to do it. Done with this place. Used to be great. Sad to see another good place fall off.

Yelp
Second time here and it's definitely a good place for a burger. Tried the veggie burger this time and I enjoyed but I like their turkey patty better. My boyfriend tried their bison burger and it said it was really good. I absolutely love their tater tots! Also love that you can create your own burger here! In terms of drink the classic margaritas are good, I also tried the blackberry bramble but felt it was too sour. This location had indoor and outdoor seating. It was pretty slow when we went but I feel like it's a big enough space that when it's busy you won't have to wait too long. All the servers were nice and the bartender was cool. He made sure we liked our drinks and also gave recommendations before we made our choice. Restaurant was clean and it was nice to be able to watch the game and actually hear it instead listening to music over it.

Yelp
Since starting my job across the street, this was my first time ever trying this chain. The Counter Miracle Mile is in a convenient location on a strip surrounded by other eats and attractions. For those looking for a high-end quality burger or sandwich, look no further as this place has got you covered! It's a big location with plenty of space and modern decorations. Wanting to try something different, I opted for a Southern Fried Chicken and shoestring fries instead of the usual burger. That being said, after how delicious the sandwich was, I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. The chicken itself was crispy and juicy. Then, the rest of the sandwich was packed with flavor as it had jalapeños, tomatoes, coleslaw, and honey dijon sauce. It wasn't a dry sandwich and the bun was soft and fluffy. I couldn't stop eating it! As for the fries, I appreciated how thin they were since the burgers/sandwiches are the main focus of the meal. My coworkers also thoroughly enjoyed their food! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I'm not one to usually write reviews, but i felt the need to for this place. By far the best loaded nacho fries I've ever had in my life!!!! Sooo good! And the bbq burger was amazing too!!

Paul D.

Yelp
This place blows. DO NOT order over the phone, they will not place your order. Not good for people who live locally. Go to Five Guys...only one block over and so much better.

Yelp
The Counter is like a choose your own adventure for burger lovers. It can easily be overwhelming looking at the selection, but also so welcoming. It's just a shame that over the years certain items have gone from standard items to premium. At least this location has several items (i.e. roasted corn) that other locations I've visited no longer offer. We came to this location on Father's Day after a trip to the tar pits. When we saw it wasn't too busy, we were excited that it should be a relatively quick trip. Unfortunately, service was slower than expected. I'm not sure if it's because of lack of staff or just a slow kitchen (or both) but what we thought would be maybe an hour meal ended up being close to two. But when we did interact with the wait staff they were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were also very accommodating for my family which included 3 small kids. Our meals did come out hot and correctly which was great. Everything was cooked properly and tasted great. So, if you're in the area and ready for a fun, albeit a possibly long, meal, then The Counter is your spot.

Yelp
We loved this place! We needed food after the tarpits so walked over to the Counter. The server was so kind. We have a serious food allergy to corn which limits our bread choices and she looked up the breads for us to find one that was safe. Even though she had a huge party she still helped us and we are so grateful. The burgers were fantastic! I had never seen so many ad ins and I totally enjoyed them. Never had added shredded carrots to a burger but they were great - as were the sprouts, mixed lettuce. Cucumber, avocado, chives and egg! Just excellent. Loved the beer selection too. But, again, the help we got with our allergy made everything stellar. Thank you so much for being so kind!

Yelp
I used to love this place and havent gone in a while, I decided to go with my two kids because we have good memories there . We ordered and my daughter and my burger came out, my 10 year old son's meal did not come out. After eating half of our meal and his did not come out, the week came by and I mentioned he didn't have his food yet. She said she would check on that. My daughter and I finished eating, waited another 10 minutes, my son still did not have his food. If it was an adult it may not have been a big deal, but a kid watching his family eat I had to share half my burger because he was starving. I asked her if she could check on it. She said yes..She walked by us and tried to ignore us, I got her attention and she mentioned she had forgot to put the meal in. Mistakes happen but I asked her to see if she could do something to compensate because that's a long time for a kid to wait or if I could please speak to a manager. After another five minutes I asked someone else to speak to a manager. My son's food finally came out but I never saw a manager. My daughter had said her salad tasted weird and they did take $4 off for the salad, but I never spoke to a manager and it was never acknowledge or apologize that my 10-year-old had to wait while his entire family eat and then take half his meal home while I only got to eat half of mine because I had to share. I really feel like a manager should've come over and apologize and maybe comped the kids meal. I even mentioned that after a kid waiting that long, they should maybe refund the kids meal, it's not the price but the principal it was only $8.50, but we live in the area and now they've lost a customer. I was a waitress in college, I know what it's like and I'm usually very understanding but this was horrible customer service.

Yelp
This Counter is next to the La Brea Tar Pits and LACMA, and it seemed like it would be a more affordable choice than the restaurant at LACMA. It isn't affordable. Lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids cost us basically $100. That is honestly the biggest detractor of this place: price. It's a burger joint. It shouldn't cost $100 for four people to eat burgers for lunch. They weren't phenomenal either. They really do have everything you could possibly want on a burger and the create your own option is kinda fun. They have a combo for $16.50, but the CYO is not included in that, which is irritating. Kids meal has very limited choices. Not surprising given that... they are basically a burger join. Why only 3 stars? Our booth was cracked in the center. Sitting on a seat in need of repair for an hour is irritating. There were ottomans instead of chairs for 2 of the seats, which is I guess okay for kids, but most people want a back for a meal. All of our burgers came out, and my dining partner's tots did not. She did not get them for like another 10 minutes after our burgers arrived, which is really pretty irritating. If you pay for a side with your burger, you expect it.... with your burger. The fancy lemonades are no refills, but it didn't say that on the menu. For nearly five bucks, it should come with a refill.

Yelp
Food was great! Service great! BUT as I was leaving a big black rat ran from one side of the restaurant to another and now I am scared to go back and I hope there aren't a lot of those critters in the restaurant!!!!!

Yelp
Food is halfway decent service is completely lacking. Would not come back here again took forever to get the food. Took forever to get the check.

Yelp
Went there with my family of 5 plus a friend on a Saturday morning after visiting La Brea Tar Pits. They weren't too busy and we were seated and served quickly. Everyone ordered and the food came out quickly. I had the Blue Cheese burger, and it was great, and my kids were happy with their food as well. Overall, we agreed we liked how we could customize our burger at The Counter. The one item that did rub me the wrong way was part of the bill. As this location seemed to have a bar, I asked for Soda water (the carbonated water that comes out of the "gun" at the bar). Usually there is no cost for this, but here I was charged $3.75 for SODA WATER?!?! That's just crazy to me.

Yelp
Guess what we just saw!! A roach crawling on the fridges and it went INSIDE the fridge. We were nice enough to tell the bartender Umut (which was awesome and handled it quickly, quietly and gracefully who took care of it and notified the manager Jasmine and got no discount and or reward for notifying them. We kept it hush hush BUT next time we will notify everyone around us.. can't wait for the restaurant next door to open....We come here VERY often and drop lots of $$$ and apparently are NOT appreciated.... on it.. disgusting! It was a full size roach too.. not a small baby or anything like that. Gross DO NOT BUY FOOD HERE...

Yelp
A bit greasy, but overall a decent burger. A little bit on the pricey side, but definitely checks the marks for being upscaled restaurant burgers.

Yelp
Delicious Burgers!!! One of a kind place visit and dine. My boyfriend, his family, and I tried this place out and our own custom burgers, which was SUPER COOL since I was able to add things that you normally don't add in your burgers. My boyfriend had the breakfast burger from the menu. I love their fries, they are thin and light and crispy. I had no guilty feelings eating the fries. Service was fast and great! Friendly environment. The staff was super nice and the place is clean too!

Yelp
I always enjoy a great burger. After watching the Orchid Quartet playing the Beatles, we were in the mood for a delicious burger. This was the perfect spot. My go to is the beef and blue burger which is all-natural angus beef, danish blue cheese, organic mixed greens, tomatoes, bacon onion jam, garlic aioli, and a brioche bun. The burger melts in your mouth and pairs perfectly with their parmesan fries. Service is great as Matt will make sure your needs are met. Parking is in the covered lot and make sure to get validation. It can save you $19.

Glen H.

Yelp
They will not honor the birthday promotion. I was told when paying that they didn't have a code to put in. Ridiculous!!
google avatar

Nina E.

Yelp
Excellent burger/salad joint. They have a make your own burger or salad where you can pick from a plethora of fresh ingredients, cheeses and sauces or choose from a preplanned menu. The wait staff was great and the parking lot behind is free for 90 min and the area is central to the museums next door. Will come back again. My only suggestion is to offer some steamed veggies as sides.
google avatar

Kelly M.

Yelp
The sprout burger is amazing. Their burgers are not too heavy and their fries are great. Service was slow but everyone is very nice.

Jason K.

Yelp
The food is completely overpriced and you will be left hungry. This BLT&A is more than $17.00 a la carte. You be the judge. This is the complete sandwich as it was delivered to my table. WE WARNED.

Yelp
Ambiance: The seating area at this location is great. Plenty of nice and indoor seating. It's a pretty big location. Taste test: I got a veggie burger. It was good overall, but I just wasn't a fan of the dressing. Maybe it's my taste buds. I wish there was more of a creamy dressing but maybe I had the vegan burger and that's why. The burger is dry without the dressing and there wasn't really anything that stood out in the patty. If you want to eat healthy, which is what I was trying to do, I highly recommend it.

Yelp
My dish was tasty, server recommended bbq salad and I'm glad he did bc I was happy with my dish, the vibe was nice inside here , looked clean and maintained . Came for lunch, a good crowd for lunch.

Yelp
This place is super clean and beautiful inside. The service we got was top notch. And I love being able to pick my fixings on a burger, get amazing mushrooms or fried egg when I like. The meat is always wonderful quality and cooked at the right temp - which is something considering higher end places will overdo the cooking temp. I just love this place. The fries and the sweet potato fries are tasty and hit the spot.

Yelp
Food and service is amazing and quick always. Always healthy option but also yummy huge burgers to try. Plenty of drink options.I'm a new regular here for sure!

Yelp
Place is good. I had 15 minutes break so I run into random bar to get some cider, so I did. And was surprised of good service and warm ambiance. Good vibes

Yelp
Friendly staff and the food was on par with the chain experience. My only negative is that it wasn't as clean as it should have been

Yelp
We decided to make a quick pit stop for some late lunch on the way to the museum. Luckily, it was happy hour so we ordered drinks and bites. The food and beer were delicious but the service was mediocre and it took forever to get our order taken. When we got our order taken, not everything was properly ordered as we had to check up on our sides which were left off. Overall, I would come here during happy our for small bites but the service is not the most efficient.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is good. Waited for my check to come for ten minutes once I was done eating where I just got up & asked for the check. Then I found out after another ten minutes of them SPEAKING WITH THEIR MANAGER that they do not even take their own gift cards "AT PARTICIPATING LOCATIONS ONLY"

Yelp
Airport experience if you don't have to don't Gracie, food confusing stuff unwelcoming feeling and the most important food fill like super processed meat seriously airport fast food it's a compliment

Yelp
It was ok. Stopped in after a visit to the Museum of Motion Pictures and walking through the path of bubbling tar at...The Tar pits. They still got the Turkey burger I've always enjoyed and the sweet potato fries are still a must to order. I noticed that there was huge selection of craft beers available and the descent selection of other beverages. The place was kinda empty for a Sunday even with all the TV screens blaring the football games. You'd think burgers and beer would draw more people in on a Sunday afternoon? Our service was good. The server was polite and quick with the beverages. But maaaan it took forever to get our burgers. 2 burgers, one order of sweet potato and stringy onion rings. I dunno...I feel it could have been knocked out faster. I didn't let it impact the servers tip. Overall...I'd come back if I'm in the area and or it's still open. I do know that this franchise has scaled back a bit so this review might be pointless? I will say that if YOU are in the area visiting and are craving a quality burger and a tasty beverage (maybe even take advantage of the outdoor patio) I do recommend The Counter!

Yelp
It had been a while since I had been to The Counter Miracle Mile so I was kinda excited. Ordered a make your own burger bowl, some tots, burger sliders, chicken sliders, buffalo cauliflower and a refresher lemonade. The burger was okay- but pricy for what it was. Tots and cauliflower were okay, but all the sides felt like it was just frozen/reheated and left me and my friend super disappointed. So expensive and they just reheat packaged food? They validate the crazy expensive parking, which is good- but of course validation didnt work and we had to call someone to the gate to let us out. I use to love having The Counter in the neighborhood, but quality has really gone down hill. On top of all this- Both my friend and I felt gross after eating there. I don't plan on coming back.

Yelp
Absolutely spectacular restaurant! Very nice, clean and large restaurant. You can build your own burger and they even have Bison. They also have several bun choices including multi grain. They have a parking garage attached to the restaurant and they will validate you for 90 minutes of parking, in other wards, FREE parking, which is rare in LA. If you're in town, give this place a try! Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was spectacular as well!

Yelp
Maybe I came in at the wrong time, maybe they are understaffed,, and i amunderstanding of those facts.. but I had a sneaky suspicion that I wasn't very welcome at this establishment. No one greeted us, we sat ourselves, the person who came to the table damn near insisted that we should order to go.. so we ordered Togo, the person who took our order was not very friendly and offered no explanation of the menu or how things worked .. so as first timers we won't be back . Better luck to anyone who patronizes this place

Yelp
Such a weird experience, terrible service all around. We arrive and there is only 2 other tables eating and it took the server forever to come see us, when our food arrived the food runner tossed all of the plates on our table. The water cups were not clean at all and had lipstick that was very visible on one of the glasses. And after ordering my breakfast burger, my stomach hurt the rest of the night, probably because it was so unsanitary on the inside.

Yelp
I stopped by here and had a "Bison is Gouda" burger, and it was quite delicious! If you've skipped breakfast, the egg makes for a tasty feature. Their selection of sandwiches, burgers, and meals made for a great variety and I knew I had to try the Bison! With its condiments and toppings, it makes for a deliciously messy meal! I was tempted to get a S'mores shake but I saw the calorie count and decided, maybe next time! Ha ha!

Yelp
It was really busy when my friend and I came here tonight, but we were seated immediately by Robert. We watched Carlos navigate all the different people vying for attention, picking up takeout, ordering takeout... all while bartending. Overall, a good place to chill while waiting because of friendly staff and calm environment (for the customers, at least). We also had an issue with parking lot ticket, but Ruben was able to help with it.

Yelp
I went the other night to pick up food and I couldn't believe how rude the service was. A guy with dreads literally snapped at me and called me "mame" in the rudest way! I've worked in customer service for over 20 years and I've had my share of rude customers and I would never talk to them like that! I was blown away. I wasn't even rude too! I've been a regular customer for years at other locations and I haven't been in a while I won't be back.

Yelp
We were at the La Brea tar pits and we were hungry so we asked the girl for a recommendation. She recommended the counter which was great. My wife and I both did the build your own burgers and I have to say mine was the best hamburger I've ever had. Only issue I really have is the tap beer is not ice cold. If the beer was ice cold this would be the perfect beer and hamburger hang out spot

Yelp
Was brought here by my brother in law and man, was my burger so bomb! I love how they have a huge indoor dining area, as well as an outside patio dining area. I really liked the fact that I could customize my own burger and add whatever I wanted or order something off the menu. The tropics margarita was delicious but what was even better was my burger. I got the old school burger and added avocado and that patty was juicy. Another big plus is that they have their own little take out station which is super convenient. Clean place and friendly staff. Overall worth coming here. Side note, parking is difficult to find but they do have some parking lots that charge by the minutes/hour.
