"At this low-lit Notting Hill spot, being the first to arrive is a good thing. It means you get the whole romantic restaurant to yourselves; time to peruse the menu before it gets too rowdy to discuss it; and the chance to have a moment of silence for the sensational sweet and salty clotted cream and pide bread starter. The Counter serves Turkish food with exciting twists that work: babaganoush has white chocolate in it and tzatziki has a nice tang from pickles. While dishes like the dry-aged beef sirloin are perfectly cooked, we think the starters and small plates are the best part. So bring a date who’s down to split a bunch of quirky dishes, or a couple of close friends and order the clotted cream, pickled tzatziki, and cheese saganaki. This place is great for a night you are taking an honest break from your diet. As someone who very resentfully eats veggies normally, I'd say the Sweet Sriracha Brussel Sprouts are one of my favorite things to eat now. It's healed my inner veggie hating child. And if that wasn't enough, they have hard root beer floats and other alcoholic desserts to bring back your childlike love for burgers in a very adult way. All in all this place is a great guilty pleasure.

A good place for people who like to get interesting with their burger toppings. Burgers are pretty good, and so is the BLT-A, where the buttered and grilled sourdough makes this more than just a sandwich you could easily make at home. Locals should probably avoid this spot on popular days at the tar pits because it's the closest and easiest eating spot for tourists.

Very unfriendly staff came in to get a burger, no smiles no nice greeting. Nothing just looked at me with that poker face like what do you want? I asked for the burger to be wrapped in paper, I received it just in the container without being wrapped. I couldn’t eat the burger because everything was falling, it was a bad experience. I tried to go again and it was the same thing even though the burger was good. I had a hard time eating it. Not going back. Check on your staff and for goodness sake wrap that burger.

It brings the most Ultra sadness and disappointment to have ordered at your location yesterday to have vegetarian burger combo with meat in it. Due to dietary restrictions. We also called the location and was told to come back. After waiting 15 min for new order the manager on duty said he apologize for mix up and welcomed me to dine back to order now or another time. The manager at the end said they would do 25%✓off not telling me this before I waited I was late back to set.

Stopped in today for a burger to go. Had a very nice bartender take good care of me. Never been there before but it was a great experience. The staff is nice. Restaurant is clean and neat. I’ll be back. Only issue is the parking. But I realize that doesn’t fall on the restaurant. The parking lot is across from the tar pits park just in case.
