Came here for Valentine’s Day late at night. Walking to this place is in a very quiet area so you wouldn’t even think it’s open but upon entering is a very welcoming atmosphere. We sat at the bar. It was relaxing. Lowlight and romantic. The drinks are well balanced and good. The cheese platter is delicious as well. Worth getting! I would def come here again.

We were here briefly while we waited to be seated at Shaw-nae's House next door. The bartender was very personable. They were already used here to getting overflow from next door. The drinks here are so well crafted. I thoroughly enjoyed my mezcal cocktail, others had the French 75 which was equally. I really wanted to get another drink or 3rd but alas time was an issue. This place made such a good impression. I left wishing this bar was my local cheers.

We discovered this quaint, cool cocktail bar near the house. The Coupe has Great bartenders. The kind of place where you can ask them to make you an interesting drink. "Tony, we like tequila. Passing by Staten Island on the Way to a road trip... we wanted to explore one of the local mixology bars. With the help of Google maps. We found this place. Very nice decorated cozy Bar 🍸 with Very Good Menue option and very affordable prices. I got the Bartenders' choice for $14. The bartender listen to my Preferences and base on that, it made me Very goos cocktail reminds oldfashion But Actually even better. My friend got a coctail $13 We didn't eat, but I saw the Sandwiches on the the order looks good. They had atable game. We played chase... Its A realy good Bar 🍸. I'll definitely be back on my last visit to this town ..... Please keep in mind CASH ONLY

Took a friend her for a late night drink to chat a little about life. Upon entering, it felt very warm and inviting. We sat at the bar. The staff greeting us with a huge grin on his face put me more at ease. The drinks were good. Food didn't have a lot of options, but we went with the meat platter, which we hunch on as we got lost in our conversation. Will be for another conversation.

If you love a good cocktail and a chill vibe this is the place. You can tell them the type of liquor of choice and if you like earthy, sweet or sour. I had 3 cognac cocktails and the bartender Meghan was great. She knew her craft and she does it well.

Very nice relaxed lounge feel. Excellent drinks. These bartenders aren't just bartenders they know how to make amazing delicious cocktails. The small menu that they do have is very impressive, great quality. This spot closes 4am! Perfect for a chill night out or to go on a date.

I love this place. It feels like a secret place cause if you don't know it's there you might walk past it. The drinks are great and priced fairly. The bartender made a special drink for my friend since she was unsure of what she wanted so we told the bartender to make her something special. The ricotta and honey spread was fantastic I absolutely loved it. The staff was nice. The ambiance was beautiful and quiet but still lively with music in the background loud enough to hear but not overpowering. Very nice place. Almost want to gatekeep so it doesnt become too crowded but I really do think it's only fair to give them their flowers and a very nice review! 8/10 recommend.

This spot gives me speakeasy vibes. The outside windows are super tinted and you cant even tell if its opened. Stopped by after dinner for some drinks and we were taken away by the bartender! Didnt get his name but it was so cool watchin him make his drinks ! U can tell he puts in work with every drink he makes. They have a drink menu and some small bites to go with while sipping on your drink.. dont expect to have a full on meal menu tho! My favorite has to be the cold brew martini. It literally takes like fresh coffee beans!!! Such a nice spot! Would definitely recommend and will be back for more drinks! CASH ONLY!!**

My wife and I went here on Valentine's Day for drinks and snacks .Great cocktails made old school.we had old fashioneds which were excellent.small plate of hummus with crostini and a plate of olives.This bar harkens back to a different era .Loved the decor and music

Very chill & awesome space! Gotta admit, I'm picky about my cocktails and The Coupe delivered. In the area talking to voters about Brittany Ramos DeBarros' campaign for Congress and early voting leading up to the August 23rd Democratic primary and met up with a friend here. Excellent music & decor. Craftspeople, more than just bartenders, I'd say.

Hands down the best spot for a late night cocktail on Staten Island. Top notch quality at very reasonable prices.

Love it here. Always great service and drinks. I came in with some friends right before closing and instead of being upset- they welcomed us with open arms. Our server was George so ask for him!!!

Been to this nice little hidden bar twice. The only drink I've had is their Hot Toddy which is very nice and really warms up your bones and insides. Very chill atmosphere. Took my spouse here for after dinner drinks and since his palate leans towards not liking the taste of alcohol, he opted for the bartender's choice drinks. This means that the bartender basically makes a drink to whatever flavor profile you have.

Had a night of drinks with my homegirl that was amazing. I had quite a few, I will not sit here and pretend to remember which ones cause when I say a few I mean A LOT. I do remember the gin fizz that was made with egg white, hmmmmm I'm intrigued. Sign me up. Drinks are only as good as the bartender and Joel was amazing! They also had something on the menu called bartenders choice. You tell them your likes and dislikes and they create a drink for you to your liking. Joel never let me down and I let him make me at least 4 diff drinks, yikes. Sorry in advance to my liver. We also had Buckey who made us an amazing meat platter and a platter w crostini, ricotta, blueberries, fig jam and honey. Put a slice of the Meat on the crostini and you have a party! Amen, and your welcome in advance. Buckey and Joel made our night so memorable and we may have found our new drink spot. If you are in the area, or just looking for good drinks go on a Tuesday when they are both there and they will make your night! Comfy ambiance, small quaint and intimate, perfect for a chill night away from places focusing on blasting music to drown out any intelligible conversation. I cannot wait to go back and I don't think I will ever get a drink off the menu if Joel is there, he made every drink spot on with the flavors and preferences I gave home. And Buckey has an oil he made infused w garlic that I'd sell my left pinky for to keep in my closet. Idk what else was in it but good lordt! Yes, lordt, with a "t" it's that good. We went there yesterday with the girls. Upon arrival we took the seats (without realizing it) right by air conditioner which they had on... We asked the guys to switch it off and they kindly did. We were really enjoying our time at the bar up until a female employee arrived and switched the conditioner back on. My friend asked to switch it off again and the guy (Barmen) did. Some time later the female worker switched it on again and put the AC remote in her back pocket (so no one can turn it off). My friends asked the barmen to turn down the AC and when he was asking the lady (worker) about remote, she refused to give it to him, neither she bothered to come any close to us to explain her such behavior... This place is great. The guys (barrens) were wonderful. But I give this place 3 star because of that lady who should know that customer service in US is about customers and not about employees' wishes. Our entire experience was ruined when this lady came to the bar. That was so mean of her

I was out to dinner at The Richmond. It was a lovely date night and great time. The server suggested we go to The Coupe for after dinner drinks. The bartender was so incredibly rude it was embarrassing to me. Spoke down to me as I was attempting to have him make me a "bartenders choice" which is on the menu. He was so incredibly condescending. My feelings were truly hurt. It was a night out for me which I rarely have. So disappointed to be treated like that. I left after one drink. After expressing my disappointment with his rudeness, he argued with me and told me to never come back. I am so upset that on a special night out I had to be made to feel this way.

This is one of our go to spots for excellent hand crafted drinks. The bartenders go out of their way to make you a great drink. I like the dark, chill vibe.

A real cocktail bar on Staten Island! Been here a few times. I believe it's the only place in the island to get a real Sazerac. Friendly bartenders that know how to make a cocktail. They are doing a monthly burlesque show that I'm curious to see. Dark speakeasy atmosphere. I'd go 5 stars but when we entered today we were told no food because they were setting up for a show. I was hungry! Lol

Cash only, no sign that states "cash only" Lame service and terrible beer.. good for the garbage.

I meet a close friend here for drinks. It's very secluded and quaint spot. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. I had a few Moscow mules, which were pretty good. They went will with the cheese and charcuterie platters we shared. Both were will presented and tasty. Cozy and cute spot close to home to have some drinks.

Solid cocktail bar in Staten Island that embraces the art of mixology. Really good drinks - my favorite is the carrot mezcal. Mocktails are great too. Service is attentive and friendly. Bites are solid also - love the vegan platter as a complement to a round of drinks.

One of my go to places for well made cocktails and good food. This place is open till 4am which means you and your friends can have the Afterparty here. Bartenders here are friendly and knowledgeable about their drinks and food selection. They have a Good selection of beers available which won't disappoint! (Flagship Brewery's Swamp Tings is a must try) This place has a great vibe as soon as you walk in. Candle lit walls and music that won't drown out your conversation. There are no tv's here, so if you're trying to catch a sports game here try another place. If you get any sandwhich, just know they put the right amount of crunch in it, just make sure you squish the sandwhich a little bit so you won't scratch the roof of ya mouth ;) For the good quality drinks, you'll be surprised at the price of drinks here. Out of all the bars I've been to so far, this one slows down the N.Y pace.

What a hidden gem in Staten Island! Upon entering we were enthusiastically welcomed by the bartenders (who were just the nicest young man and woman). I had the gin fizz and Rickys? Refreshing drinks made with precision and I must add "with love!" This place is dimly lit, they have a great food menu for late night snacking comprised of meat and cheese boards with different spreads. Delicious sandwiches that were delicately made with meats, cheese, and fresh lettuce. I can see parking can be a challenge but we found a spot right around the corner. I'm sure many miss this place because it's almost like a speakeasy since it's not easily visible. Please give this place a try while in the area! It's a fine place for first dates and or date nights, or just for a fun night with friends! Shout out to the bartenders because they definitely add a personal touch and give off such a cool vibe! Can't wait to go back!

We came back to The Coupe because we had such a great time the first time. The staff was so pleasant and attentive also extremely helpful. Who wouldn't come back! We went last night walked in and looked around. It was a bit busy but we saw the same table and just sat down. One of the guys came over, he seemed a bit eager and asked if we knew what we wanted, I kind of explained what we ordered the last time the "bartenders choice" and what we kind of like. He seemed extremely confused and would tell the head bartender and see what he can do. It took extremely long and we actually thought they forgot about us! The drink we received was absolutely nothing like we got the last time or I explained. Different glass, no beautifully carved ice cube, no explanation of the drink, and to top it off the rudeness of the gentleman " eh, I'm gonna need your credit card for a tab, because I'll never remember what you ordered" um, okay? We were going to order the truffles but why bother.. I don't know what left a bad after taste the guy or the drink.. smh

There are a few good Cocktail Bars on Staten Island and The Coupe is quickly heading to the top of the list. The Coupe has Dim lighting with a Speakeasy ambience with pleasant Jazz music playing in the back ground, There's a great long bar on one side for seating and a lounge area in the mizzen. Edward our soft spoken bartender was very good at creating drinks from a variety of different spirits and garnishes, and adjusting them to create the unique, and more fundamentally to match our taste.

I've heard a lot about this spot and I love speakeasies so it was nice to see a spot on Staten Island with upscale vibes and decent drink prices. The owner was there and very interactive with the crowd. I appreciated that. He definitely knew what he was talking about. I had the mojito and it was solid! Strong and tasty and very pretty as well. I love that this spot is open very late. I would definitely come back.

The service and drinks were excellent. Diverse crowd and very welcoming. Ambience was warm and seductive.

With everything that is going on the Coupe kept it safe by having outside seating. The menu was limited because of COVID but I was able to grab some duck entrees & whiskey sour. My daughter had the penicillin. The staff was friendly & safe. I anticipate when it opens fully. Check it out.

Wow!!!! I was so excited to find this bar. We dine out often in this area and it's so exciting to see that there's a really mature, upscale bar in the area with amazing cocktails. The server was so friendly and knowledgeable. Drink prices are on par with others on the island but way better. The music playing was perfect. Soda is free for guests not drinking . The bar is well stocked. Drinks are served with one large ice cube, designed in a way so that it doesn't melt quickly and dilute the drink. Paper straws instead of plastic are used to protect the environment. Drinks are well crafted and some tend to be on the boozier side. It seems as if people know of this bar, there was a nice crowd last night and the bar filled up by nine o'clock. Oh yeh, they limit the guests to thirty five so as not to ruin the ambiance.

My boyfriend found this bar to surprise me on a date night and it was amazing the bartender Luke is so nice and attentive the happy hour oysters were delish!!! This is a perfect place for a date night for newbies and or married couple nice cute quite personal...i totally recommend to try this place out! Parking was decent but we came on a Tuesday so it might hav even easier! The music fits the scene truly a secret gem...i would love to keep it a secret but it way too cool to keep inside!

The meat & cheese boards were perfect, paired with some nice wine, cozy couches and candlelight,.. Great night.. Great spot.. City feel. I'll be back.. Probably with a different date though lol ;).

I've been looking for a nice, classy bar on Staten Island for a while and all I can say is The Coupe is PERFECT. From the dark, speakeasy vibes, to the delicious and reasonably priced cocktails, I cannot recommend this place enough. The service is always impeccable and the bartenders put so much care into every drink they make. If you're ever in the neighborhood and fancy a drink, definitely stop by.

I stayed overnight visiting a friend in Staten Island and she and her fiance took me to this bar. It gives off the essence of a speakeasy. Very cool vibe. When we walked in around 10pm, one of the bartenders came over and said "unfortunately we are at full capacity and we don't really allow people to stand around the bar. Can I take down your number and call you once a table becomes available?" However we got lucky when a couch in the back of the bar opened up just as he was about to take down our number. So tip: come early if you want a seat. We all ordered an old fashion, a lime daqueri.. and I forgot the last one. So good!!!! My lime daiquiri was so good! High quality rum and fresh squeeze lime. My friends also said their drinks were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for good vibe to talk, drink, and catch up with friends.

The Coupe is a nice little 1920s speakeasy themed bar that is pretty unique for Staten Island. In addition to the bar, there are limited cozy seating arrangements in an atmospheric, dimly lit setting. The music playing was that 1920's jazzy themed type..Very fitting. While there is a full bar, the menu focus is definitely on a few proper cocktails and a short list of food items, but everything was very good. Kind of easy to miss if you don't know it's there, and even if you do, it looked closed from the outside. Maybe this was on purpose to add to the whole speakeasy theme, but worth a visit for sure. Would go again.

After a five star review last time and multiple visits....I have nothing good to say about it this time. We walked in, a party of four and were told it was at capacity. The bar was NOT even close to full.... In fact there were a few scattered seats. It was not a bartender I have ever seen before. What a disappointing experience. They wanted to call me in ten or twenty minutes.... I guess I should have waited in the cold. Think I will not return. Thanks for not being loyal as I was a loyal customer.

A Must if on the Island!!! Very nice and low key. I ordered the following drinks and they were all amazing: Mojito, Penicillin, Greenpoint & Honeymoon. Out of all of them my favorite was the Penicillin. They take the time to produce handcrafted exceptional cocktails. The service was great I left with no complaints!!!!

One of our favorite date night spots on the island. Don't let the inconspicuous exterior stop you from entering. It ultimately plays into the speakeasy vibe the bar has going for it. My fiancé always opts for the bartenders choice and has never been disappointed. I tend to get wine by the glass and they are always quick to refill. Food options are limited (and take a little bit of time to put together) - but my goodness they are delicious. We always get the meat and cheese platter and have never been disappointed - ever! Any time we have out of town guests this is the place we bring them to. It's the best!

This place has been open for a year and half and I'm really mad at myself for not checking it out sooner! Last night was my 1st visit and I could not have been more impressed. The bartenders were attentive. Waters poured immediately as I sat down at the bar, menus provided and overall felt really welcome. I ordered a jalapeño margarita (not offered on the menu) but when I mentioned I liked them spicy, my bartender Luke said "not a problem, we can definitely do that for you" & made it to perfection. (Also, kudos on the metal straws) My friend ordered an Eastside Rickey and the flower garnish was a really sweet touch. I loved everything about this place - the staff, the music, the decor, even the martini glass chandeliers. Really well thought out and can't wait to go back.

Staten Island has been longing for a proper cocktail bar (well at least I have). The Coupe does it right. The bartenders listen when you tell them your likes and dislikes and craft a unique tasty beverage just for you. I had an Oxaca old fashioned, smooth and delicious. A Negroni made with an artichoke liqueur - unique and tasty and a raspberry margarita that would make any chain restaurants sour mix garbage hang its head in shame. Home made truffles, superb end to our post dinner drinks. A+ ! Go check it out

Great place to just relax, enjoy great drinks, and actually speak with people. Bartenders are easy going and can make any drink you may have a taste for or even make something up for you. Relaxing and comfortable.

Decent cocktail def a great option for Staten Island especially since there isn't anything like it on the island. Bartenders are great and knows their whiskey. I recommend having a drink here if you're into fine cocktails.

Great cocktail bar on the island. Was nice and quiet on a Friday evening. Bartenders were friendly and eager to talk to customers. Cocktails were the basic ones, mojito, daiquiri, etc., but they use good liquor and prepare the cocktails with precision. The bartenders choice is always a good option. Nice place to hangout without heading to the city.

The Coupe is my favorite bar on the island. The bartenders are pretty cool and attentive. The drinks are made intricately, so you really get what you pay for. I would recommend this bar to others. Just hope it stays!

The Coupe brings all the feels of a trendy Manhattan cocktail lounge to Staten Island, but still keeps prices moderately affordable. For instance, my fiancée and I went to a wine bar in Manhattan for happy hour and the price for 5 happy hour wines, one happy hour beer and a cheese board was $95. At the coupe, we bought two tastefully done, bartender choice cocktails (cilantro, coconut margarita - quite the creation), two craft beers, a wine, a cheese board and hummus, all for ~ $65 regular price. The ambiance is dark, offering a great intimate experience, but this isn't just a date spot. Anyone can come in and find themselves in a great convo with a bartender or patron. It's conveniently located across from the Hop Shoppe; get your cocktails at the Coupe and beer at the Shoppe. You can support local to the fullest. Great location. If your coming over on the ferry, you're not Far from here. Check it out.

This bar fully embraces and excels at the speakeasy vibe you can find at some bars in the city. The outside is a nondescript storefront with the windows blacked out. Once inside you feel as if you're transported back to a prohibition era bar with the lite jazz, and dark lights. Once inside the drink menu is extensive. My particular favourite is the Bartender's Choice. You tell them the liquor and the flavour you want and they work their magic. I get this everything I come here and it's always amazing. They do do charcuterie boards that are amazing. The menu rotated every few weeks but it's always well worth getting. The bartenders are also very sociable and willing to talk to you in detail about the drinks, the food or whatever you want. This is another hidden gem of the Borough of Parks
