The Cove, Eleuthera - Hotel Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"A secret-feeling sanctuary tucked between two white sand coves on the less touristy island of Eleuthera, this resort feels almost like a private island. The 55 rooms, suites, and villas have a simple-but-sweet design and lots of modern touches, such as fine linens, Nespresso machines, and outdoor patios. Many of them are in freestanding bungalows, and most are close to the beach. There’s a strong focus on experiential adventure and underwater exploration, with complimentary resort bikes, private boat excursions, kayaks, SUP boards, and an array of island tours. The spa emphasizes the holistic benefits of bodywork, with treatments that range from a traditional Thai massage to organic seaweed leaf wraps to the Mindful Dreams Ritual. The two restaurants use produce from the resort’s own sustainable garden, along with organic beef and locally sourced seafood."

The Cove Eleuthera (Eleuthera, Bahamas) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Eleuthera itself had something of a heyday as a destination around the middle of the last century, and while there were sensible reasons for its decline, the fundamental appeal of the place hasn’t changed. We’re pleased, then, to see it on the upswing again — who could say no to a hundred-mile-long, two-mile-wide, gently snaking Bahamian island, the merest pencil-stroke of a northern Caribbean paradise, especially now that hotels like The Cove are putting some serious effort into attracting a new generation of travelers." - Tablet Hotels

A Review of The Cove Eleuthera, Bahamas

"An intimate, 22-room retreat set on roughly 40 lush acres on the north end of Eleuthera, this idyllic escape blends understated luxury with the island’s natural beauty. Accommodations range from chic garden-view rooms to airy oceanfront villas and beachfront bungalows with private outdoor showers, all appointed with natural wood, crisp white linens and luxe touches like waffle robes, Sonos speakers and Red Flower bath products. Guests unwind on two private-entry beaches (snorkeling, kayaking and paddleboarding available), by an infinity pool with new decks, or through daily wellness offerings such as morning stretches, Pilates and sunrise/sunset yoga. A recent multi-phase renovation added refreshed public spaces and a new beachfront two-bedroom villa with a heated plunge pool and outdoor showers; a Nature Trail showcases native Bahamian flora and a pickleball court is planned. On-property and off-property activities include spa treatments inspired by local traditions, boating, deep-sea fishing, cultural tours and horseback riding, while sustainability initiatives—most notably a coral-nursery snorkel tour in partnership with a reef-restoration group—invite guest participation. Service is noted for its warmth and personalized touches, and published rates begin around $500/night; daily full breakfast is included in rates and some arrival upgrades and resort credits may be offered, subject to availability."

We just returned very rested and recharged from the most magical family trip to The Cove at Eleuthera in the Bahamas. It honestly felt like we had landed on another planet - called Paradise - one where time slows down, no one’s in a rush, and everything is insanely beautiful. The resort was so peaceful, so private, and so naturally stunning. The turquoise water, the white sand, the swaying palms, the sunsets, the private swimming coves, the snorkeling, the ocean hammocks, the live music, the delicious sushi, the infinity pool... it didn’t even feel real. Like living inside a dream you don’t want to wake up from! The food was incredible (we’re still talking about the sushi and island cocktails), but what really made it special was the amazing team—so warm, kind, and thoughtful. You could feel the heart in everything they did. They all knew our names and we all knew their names, even though it was only a four night stay. My daughter even said it was the best vacation we’ve ever taken—and that’s saying a lot. We’ve been to Hawaii, Europe, and beyond, but there was just something about The Cove that felt sacred. Like we were exactly where we were meant to be. Already missing it...

The Cove - Eleuthera is a one in a million resort! This Relax & Chateua five star resort is even better than we imagined! The accommodations were immaculate, well-designed and super cozy. We loved our unit with it's private deck and banquette....right on the beach! Services at this resort is second to none we have ever experienced in the Caribbean. Extremely warm, friendly and professional. Excellent food. Superior exercise classes (incl) each am...yoga or Pilates. The grounds are sumptuous, stunning and vistas for your eyes to behold. As bougie as the resort is physically, the staff are top-shelf and treated us like family. Super caring and wanting to ensure that your vacation was fulfilling and relaxing. We kayaked every day and snorkeled right off of the beach. We never waited long for food or any beverage request (how about the best pina colada ever served right to your deck or spot on the beach with fresh coconut and a dark rum floater)? We left the Cove feeling re relaxed, rejuvenated and extremely well-cared for! ||||P.S. the Cove brought us into town a couple of nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with the locals who clearly appreciate tourism and get hospitality....especially Eleuthera Vibes! Also don't miss Sunday afternoon at the town dock for some amazing Conch salad and cold beer/yummy cocktails!

The cove is a remote luxury resort with beautiful views and first-class amenities. The staff was all remarkably friendly and helpful and the service was top notch. The cabins were very nice with amazing ocean views and well cooled. I would recommend a Sunday afternoon trip to Dave's Conch shack as well. No need for any excursions, you can enjoy your time at the resort.

Just returned from an unforgettable stay at The Cove Eleuthera what an absolute gem. This is the kind of place you escape to when you need to truly unwind. Picture-perfect turquoise water just steps from your room, calm and quiet surroundings, and some of the most welcoming staff I’ve ever encountered.||||Every meal was a highlight fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Whether lounging by the beach, enjoying a cocktail at sunset, or simply soaking in the serene vibe, The Cove delivers a perfect balance of relaxation and understated luxury. Can’t wait to return.

Very calm and relaxing. Beach access is amazing. Marine life is incredible. Food options are limited, but good. Rooms are very nice and very comfortable. Staff is very helpful and very friendly. I wish I could just move in there permanently. It is a little pricey, but it is top notch, and the Bahamas is pricey.

A stunning resort with gracious hosts, delicious food, and an experience that was both relaxing and fulfilling. The beauty of balance was everywhere. The landscape was serene, the sound of the gentle rhythm of the waves was mesmerizing. Sea turtles swam freely in the bay, adding a sense of wonder to each day. Every detail felt intentional, offering a quiet kind of luxury that lingers long after you leave.

Staff was absolutely amazing! The resort was pretty empty so we got to enjoy it all to ourselves. The food was also fantastic coming from a fellow foodie. The only thing I would suggest is to possibly have an ATM available on site since some of the ATMs in the island are either far away or do not work properly.

It was a LOVELY stay. Kind and welcoming staff. The food could be better, but not much else is missing. Service on the beach is needed, as I couldn't really order food and drinks. I would also recommend more grooming of the beach so the sharp rocks are not present.
