The Crab Shack Thao Dien

The food’s so delicious, crabs are clean and fresh! It’s better than Michelin guide restaurant in Thailand! We are so happy that we found the place near our house for good seafood! Satisfy my pregnancy craving! The staffs are so friendly and helpful. When I ordered more rice but they closed the kitchen and no more rice left, the staffs offered their rice instead and asked if we are ok! :) of course we took it! :) thank you for good food and well-trained the staffs!

Awesome food, we ordered the prawn and crayfish bucket and it was one of our best meals in HCM! Loved the garlic noodles with the sauce. We only chose level 2 spicy level but would have preferred a spicier kick. Would recommend a higher spicy level for those with greater tolerance!

The best seafood restaurant in Thao Dien. The food was so amazing. The seafood looks so fresh and flavorful. I'm especially impressed by how well-cooked the corn on the cob appears. And it's great to hear that the waitress Vy was so hospitable. She really made a difference when someone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

This restaurant is an amazing and unique experience where they bring the exquisite cuisine of Cajun seafood to Vietnam with the same quality of spices and flavors you could expect in Louisiana. You can customize your meal from a wide selection of seafood, spices, side dishes and cater it to your preferences. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Depending on the types of seafood you order, it can get get expensive but there are also affordable options that are equally as delicious. Have gone to this restaurant for several years and plan to continue supporting their one of a kind dining experience. Highly recommend, don’t miss out!

The food here is delicious. We started with an Egg and Shrimp Roe Salad, which was light and refreshing. The Mud Crab in Fresh Milk Sauce was rich and flavorful without being overly heavy. The Crab Meat with Salted Egg Yolk Sauce was wonderfully fragrant. And especially remarkable were the Garlic Butter Noodles, though I forgot to take a photo of that dish.

Best seafood boil ever! You can choose the sauce and I chose the cajun one, which tasted heavenly, buttery, a bit spicy and a tons on flavors. The ingredients are high quality, seafood were fresh and sausages were meaty. The oysters were great as well. All of them, worth the price. I think it will be better if you go with a big group from 4 people so you can order lot’s of dishes to try out different things because their menu is amazing with tons of selections. The staff were supper supportive, my table was eating a little bit too messy, having lots of used napkins on the table because me and my sis don’t know how to eat seafood boil without making a mess 😭 But the staff were really attentive they cleaned the table every time it was full with napkins 🫶 overall, amazing food and service, worth the price!!!

Very honest and attentive staff team. The garlic butter noodles were so good and the sauces were life changing. Make sure to try the best seller crab eggs too! It’s so succulent and creamy 😋

A visit to Crab Shack Thảo Điền is a must for any seafood lover. The food is fantastic, especially the crabs combo which is as delicious as it is generous. The garlic fries are a standout side, perfectly crispy and flavorful without being greasy. To top it all off, the beer is perfect, and the staffs are friendly, making for a great dining experience overall.
