Visited on the 1st of March. Usually don't write reviews, but I saw the sign near the bathroom and thought I'd leave a 5* review for the 5* experience I had! One of those places I'd been meaning to go to, but never done so. So I was excited, but expected queues as it's a popular Bristol cafe. The queue wasn't that long, waited 10-15 minutes and everyone in the queue was constantly offered seats whenever a table became free. I had the halloumi hash and it was very tasty, and filling. The matcha latte was okay as I like my matcha, but it did come with a glass of water which was nice. The staff member (didn't get their name) was super friendly, and did mention the service charge beforehand so if you didn't want to pay that, you could take it off. I'd visit here again, maybe many times more. Lovely brunch spot with cute home-y decor!

Lovely and polite staff. Yummy food, nice big portions. Veggie pattie wasn't my favourite, but everything else brilliant. Coffee 10/10 Note: only point is lack of mentioning service charge as another review said, but aware it was a busy day!

I had the most enjoyable brunch here with my friends. The queue didn’t take long, however, the food did. But it’s okay because their dishes is excellent, I finish everything. I love the atmosphere too, full of sunlight, decor with books and plants, feeling so lively with customers chattings. Oh and staff are friendly and helpful, love them. Perfect place to meet up with friends. I’ll comeback!

Additional response to the owner: Thanks for your response. I just want to clarify that I’m not the same person as the other reviewer, though I believe they may have been the Asian couple I mentioned in my review, who also weren’t informed about the optional service charge. Their review was posted before mine, and it describes a nearly identical experience. Seeing both of us raise the same concern should be a reason to reflect, not assume it’s one person leaving multiple one star reviews. The copy-pasted response felt impersonal and honestly added to the feeling of being dismissed. This isn’t just about a service charge, it’s about fair and consistent treatment. I hope you’ll take this seriously and consider how your team can improve moving forward. Listening without assumptions is the first step!! _______________________________________________ I visited this restaurant today with my partner and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience as an Asian couple. From the moment we walked in, we didn’t feel welcome. There was an awkward atmosphere, and it seemed like the staff were reluctant to engage with us before we were finally seated. When it came time to order, we were asked to pay upfront, which is fine, but we weren’t informed about the optional service charge. The staff member simply presented the total on the card machine without explanation. I only realised later that we had been charged an 8% service fee without being given the option to opt out. What made this experience even more upsetting was noticing a clear inconsistency. I overheard the same staff member informing other tables (white customers) that the service charge was optional and they could choose to remove it. However, neither our table nor another Asian couple seated nearby were given the same courtesy. This left me feeling incredibly uncomfortable and frankly, discriminated against. It felt as though there was an assumption that we wouldn't know our rights or question the charge, and that’s deeply disappointing. The food was okay but portions were small for the price, and overall, it did not justify the cost, especially considering how we were treated. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience left a lasting impression, and I felt it was important to share. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and ensures fair and respectful treatment for all guests, regardless of background.

One of the most unusual breakfasts Ive ever had but rather nice. It consisted of a very hot skillet with a full layer of small Roasted potatoes which had mozzarella cheese on them, then there was a good quality sausage, two strips of well done bacon, Crafty sauce drizzle, house bacon gravy, a fried egg and chives. Wow the flavours in this breakfast were amazing, if you wana try a new kind of breakfast then try this, it was the Meaty Poutine that I had.

The food here is absolutely unreal! I had the hummus and poached eggs which I haven’t stopped thinking about, the green smoothie which was wonderful & a matcha which was thick and creamy but bitter. The thing that has unfortunately let my experience down here was the service. All of the workers seemed to be in absolutely foul moods, they were quite rude actually. Maybe they were stressed out as it was a relatively busy Saturday morning, but I did leave this experience feeling let down due to the poor service. Also, here they take payment before you receive your food which isn’t a problem, but it meant that the service charge was paid for right away and I definitely would not have left a tip for the workers here.

One of my favourite brunch places in Bristol! Everytime I have visited, the food and service has always been excellent. The queue is worth it. Also the staff members have excellent food allergen training and know the ingredients of their menu from back to front even with sauces. A friend of mine who came with me has a gluten allergy and was amazed by how helpful and thoughtful the servers and chefs were to ensure her food was gluten free

Came on a Monday morning for brunch, the service was great and the food was top tier. Loved the Turkish eggs, and the coffee! Can’t wait to come back
