The Crafty Jackalope

Extremely disappointed. Went here with a party of six at 1pm on a Saturday. We are visiting the area and the reviews and menu looked good; however, the actual experience was far below expectations. Food was “mid” at best and service was very slow. Our server was nice but seemed overwhelmed. Boneless wings were out of a bag, fries lacked flavor, Mac and Cheese was bland, and the water tasted like a basement. The side salad was good and my burger was just ok. I don’t know how this place has its current rating.

Favorite place to come and get Mac n Cheese around here in all honesty. Their menu, like most around here, is a bit expensive. However their portion sizes seem to reflect the amount of food you receive so I can't complain much. Drinks are usually versatile and well made if you get a mixed drink. Tonight I dined on Mac n Cheese with a side of fries and queso while sipping on the Monday $4 Vodka Mule. My server, Sydney, suggested the orange flavor and honestly it's great. She was pretty awesome as well; attentive, kind, looked like she actually told the kitchen I liked my food. Thanks for always being reliable, Crafty. Appreciate the great workers who make it all happen (FOH and BOH).

We went here for dinner this evening to sit outside. The food was really good. We got wings, fries with their unique twist, and a margherita flatbread. All very tasty.

We love this place! They have great food (especially great wings!) and they are always so incredibly patient and kind to our 16 month old daughter. We usually have the same waiter, Josh, and he always remembers us which is very nice. We love having a kid friendly restaurant where mom and dad and have a cold beer, watching sports, and just have staff and an atmosphere accommodating to kids.

This was our first time, and everything on the menu looked delicious and priced very reasonable. I decided on the Bacon Chicken Mac and Cheese. The portion was huge, and it was probably the cheesiest mac and cheese I've had, which is a good thing because I am a cheese fanatic. My boyfriend chose the Guiness Dip. It was also a decent portion and tasted very good. There is also a nice beer selection. Wednesday night was also music bingo night. Even though we did not win it was fun playing.

So, been here a few times before for the good craft beer selection. Today, I decided to get food. I landed on wings and when I got the bill, there were charges for ranch, celery, and carrots. Even the bartender stated he could not locate anywhere in the menu where it notes you will get charged for those items. This wasn’t an extra order of ranch. Just the small amount that comes with the meal. Also, they charge an extra 2.25% for credit card usage so be aware if you plan to visit and pay with card. But if you want a good selection of craft beer, I would recommend this place.

Stopped here from a recommendation of a friend. It didn’t disappoint!! Great food and a relaxing atmosphere. The service was on point and the drink selection was impressive!! I had the Pittsburgh Cheese Steak wrap and it was amazing!! What a great local bar for Bridgeville!! We also had the smoked brisket potatoe skins which were fantastic!!

First time here. Service was great and we enjoyed the food and drink. We took advantage of their happy hour appetizers and shareables. Also had to try the Mac and cheese...wow! So good! Great specialty cocktails and beer selection. We'll be back for sure!

Another great night at the Jackalope! I was walking around my neighborhood, enjoying the beautiful evening, when I felt a bit peckish. I decided to walk over to the Jackalope for dinner. I got my usual chicken salad, which has french fries and lots of veggies. As usual, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I've been trying to watch the Pirates game, but it's hard for me because I'm so nearsighted. Anyway, the pirates are losing, so I hope they score a home run with base is loaded and take the lead back. It's good to be back here. It's my place in Bridgeville.

Absolutely the worst service. Missed appetizer and non-attentive service. Despite the manager coming over to apologize and comp the appetizer, things did not improve. Maybe someone doesn't recognize that they are suppose to a make money from the drinks. Someone will have to be picking up the check for me to return.

I may have to try a few different options the next time I come through this space. I had the French drip sandwich with the Guinness au jus and it was quite bland, both the meat of the sandwich and the au jus. My partner has the shrimp with cilantro lime rice and the rice had such a strong overpowering taste of lime juice. The location has a great selection of beer and quality house crafted drinks, so the drinks were solid, but overall there was a lot to be desired.

Amazing Fish Sandwich and really good blackened ranch. Nice atmosphere and fast food/drinks. Bar hooks for purses to.

We went before last Saturdays pens game for a quick bite. As an app we ordered their pretzels. They were delicious. As my main I got their steak salad with blue cheese. Partway thru my salad I realized that fries were not on my salad as described on the menu. It took awhile for me to get the waitresses attention but it was a quick fix. She got me a side of fries. My husband got the buffalo chicken salad, he opted for crispy chicken.

Wings were delicious - not super spicy but great flavor. Highly recommend the Thai chili lime.

We have been long time fans of Crafty, but hadn't been in a while. The tap list is making a comeback in my opinion. They had lots of good beers on tap including local beers and 3 Floyds. The food is elevated bar food-really love their fried pickles and quesadillas. It's seems like a busy, younger scene on the weekends, but it's a great spot during the week and for happy hour. I like that there is outdoor space for the summer months. I do wish they'd take down the tent. It was much nicer without it.

They say pets welcome on their website. I brought my dog there and sat on the outside patio and was shortly approached by someone very rude saying i couldn't have my dog in there regardless of being an ESA. if it was service dogs only they need to change their website because pets welcome means all animals.

I've recently made two visits to the Crafty Jackalope on Tuesday evening for their .59 cent wing night. In general the Jackalope is a strong option in Bridgeville, wing night is just a bonus. Service is very strong, prices are fair, ticket times have never exceeded 10 minutes for me, wait staff are outstanding. During my recent visits I've had the spicy garlic, blackened Cajun and wet Cajun ranch. We've had the fries and my oldest son has had the French Dip. My wings were very tasty and didn't skimp on the sauce. Whether you stop for wing night or a different time, you can't go wrong at the Crafty Jackalope. I've thoroughly enjoyed my recent visits. Keep up the good work!

The inside is a little out dated, so we always sit at the enclosed porch bar. In the warm months it offers a nice outside space too. Food and apps are good bar food.

I came in very skeptical. I've had some less-than-great experiences at places like this recently. However, I was not disappointed. The food selection was more or less what you'd expect from a place like this, but when it came out, it was fabulous. I started my meal with a $4.00 side salad that was actually worth the price. The homemade balsamic dressing was well-emulsified and had a great balance of flavors. The portion size and variety of vegetables rivaled what I've received as a main dish salad at lesser places. This wasn't just a bagged salad with cheese and a side of dressing--it was clearly made with some care. Next, we tried the summer special chicken sandwich. It was generously sized and had a very good balance of flavors. It came with seasoned fries, and the portion was large enough that we ended up taking half of it home--not because it wasn't good, but because we were too full to finish. Our waitress was above average--friendly, fairly attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. Service overall helped make the experience even better. Prices were in line with expectations: four adults came to about $72.00, including tax and tip. I would definitely visit again.

Came here for trivia night. Had fun! Tacos were good too. Really friendly people working there.

The food was good and our server was very nice. It was all good. I had a salad and pepperoni egg rolls. My friend had a burger. They don't have brewed tea, only what is in the soda gun. They do charge for using a credit card. I didn't notice a sign or notification in the menu, but honestly, I didn't really look. They have nice happy hour prices. I found getting into the restaurant to be very confusing. It appeared they were having an A/C issue perhaps. The parking lot looks to be all assigned spots, but then we were told it was OK to park there. We had to walk under vents and tubes and over cords to access the door.

So I've been to Crafty a bunch of times at this point, and I have to say that it is a complete surprise of a gem. It took me a few visits before I tried the food, and I'm a little sad it took me as long as it did. Their French dip was pretty good, but I do wish that there was a horseradish sauce option. Now, of course, that's totally just my opinion because, frankly, I'm a sucker for some horseradishy beef. However, now that I've had their Mahi Mahi appetizer tacos, I don't think I'm getting anything else again. They are ahhhhmazing. The bar itself is dark and definitely has a late night spot ambiance. If you're looking for somethingto do, they do have karaoke and trivia nights. We did end up here around 4 pm after Bridgeville Day with a slew of kids and felt perfectly welcome, though. I wouldn't go with my kiddo past 6ish, but for an early dinner option, it worked just fine. I've also attended an after funeral dinner here, and the staff was wonderful and very attentive to the guests. It's a bit of an anomaly in terms of how to categorize it, but it's a big favorite here.

Went for Trivia. It was great! They did the Halloween trivia with Kahoot. I've never seen another place do trivia with kahoot, but it was still fun! Prices are very reasonable.

We were in a pinch to find a place that had gluten free options and a good happy hour for a birthday celebration to accommodate 30-40 people and Denise at the Crafty came through in a very big way! She set up the covered patio area for us and provided Patty as our server who crushed it! The food, the atmosphere, the options, and the prices were perfect! I highly recommend you visit the Crafty for your next event or even a nice meal and a few drinks. The Hot Garlic Parmesan Wings were amazing!

I can always count on The Crafty Jackalope for their great drink and app selections! We especially love their "pepperoni egg rolls" as they are both unique and delicious! During their happy hour, apps are half price, so it's a great time to try a few! They have a nice outdoor space where they often have live music, so I would recommend checking out their event schedule before going (it can get quite loud).

So glad I found this place on yelp! Upon arrival we were greeted with such a sweet hostess and then given a outstanding waitress! The food here is surprisingly delicious and even though it's barfood, you don't leave here feeling gross. There is something on the menu for everyone, the price is so incredibly inexpensive it is shocking for the quality that you get.

A decent bar depending on the night. Really a spot for the college crowd. But overall not bad.

This place was pretty fun! There was a live band and plenty of seating for it too. Great food and great service. The drinks are a great price too. Would definitely be back again! The vibes are great and there is a great blend of people not just one demographic.

Came on a Thursday with a group of four and overall had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helped make sure we had a place to sit where we could also play trivia. The wings were so good - zesty garlic sauce was the crowd fave and also loved the sweet potato fries. There is a large, metered parking lot across the street so that wasn't an issue.

Good drink specials, fun atmosphere, great place to hang out with friends and family. Friendly servers made this an enjoyable first time experience

Had a nice experience at the Crafty Jackalope. The place is more of a bar than a restaurant, but they also have plenty of tables for service. Having never been, I asked the waitress if they had any specialties and she was quick to suggest the burgers and their Mac and cheese. So that's what we got! I shared a bacon cheeseburger and a brisket Mac and cheese. The burger was good, but I thought the Mac and cheese was simply delicious. I wish they had put maybe a little more brisket on top, but what was there was great. For appetizers we for the fried pickles and the brisket potato skins. Pickles - OK. Potato skins - really good. I'd say, overall, everyone was pleased.

Food was delicious with good prices. Service was on spot. Cool place. Cans of beer are super expensive! $10-14 for a craft can of beer.

Stopped in for a quick beer on the way to dinner. Service was fast, beer was cold, and you could sit inside or outside. What more do I need to say. Pit stop watering hole at its finest right here?

Stopped in on a Thursday for happy hour. The place was busy with jukebox playing, but not too loud, which was nice for conversation purposes. They have a large variety of beers to choose from and have a decent happy hour special for drinks and apps. It was taco night, but they did not mention it until we asked what kind of tacos they had because they weren't listed on the menu. Our server was very sweet and super attentive to the table. This is a nice spot to stop in and grab a drink or hang with friends.

This place is always solid when you're looking for good bar food. Tuesday night is $0.69 bone-in wings night along with some kind of Yeungling special. My friend and I had hot garlic parm wings, the mini quesadillas, fries, and chicken tacos. The mini quesadillas are one of my new favorites. They have so much chicken inside and the sauce is delicious. The hot garlic parm wings are always perfectly crispy and the sauce is pretty mild. The fries come with a little parm and rosemary seasoning on them and also never disappoint. The chicken tacos were loaded. The service is always quick and friendly. Tyne decor is very sports bar like. Would recommend!

It was a blast! I'm from Colorado and they treated me well, I kicked ass at darts, and the beer was CHEAP!

Worst bar in town. Management & owners are extremely disrespectful. They pour cheap alcohol in expensive bottles- don't recommend. Lastly, the place is not clean and is gross.

Stopped in for lunch with a group of 7 guys, including my son. Seated quickly at a couple tables pushed together. Hot day outside, nice and cool inside. Drinks ordered and brought right out. Orders taken, and food was out before too long. My boy wolfed down a huge bowl of chili he said was terrific. He also tore into a good looking chicken cheese sandwich and fries. I got a good fresh salad with basalmic, and an order of very tasty chicken bacon Mac and cheese. Scrumptious! Drinks were refilled promptly by our very attentive server. Not a complaint from any of us. Great service, food and price. A super place to stop...so go there!

Stepped in for lunch on a Saturday. Very expansive menu. We started with two bloody Mary's and they were good. We ordered pepperoni egg rolls as a starter and split and Italian hoagie. I was disappointed to have both items come out at the exact same time. Restaurant was clean and was getting crowded by the time we left. I was a little disappointed to see a .89 cent service fee on my bill. I'm assuming it was for using a card. I totally understand the fee, but I would like to know in advance before my receipt prints out.

Basically just a dive with so-so bar food and rude staff. Extremely rude bartender. She's got longer reddish brown hair and probably in her late 40s. Takes care of the regulars and ignores the rest. And if you say anything regardless of how polite or respectful, she'll either never wait on you or tell you to leave.

Went here for a Steelers game and oof. Table of 4 of us. We all ordered 2 appetizers and meals. The two apps were buffalo chicken dip and a Margherita Flatbread. The Buffalo chicken dip was not good. Very mild and kinda bland. They did offer us more chips for it though. Which I thought was nice. The flat bread...what. the.....like big huge mounds of mozzarella on top of mushy tomatoes and stale Flatbread. Very mid. I got the pittsburgh wrap. Was that steak? Or tofu that was colored brown. Had no flavor what so ever. I got a side of onion rings too and got maybe 4 onion rings. I'm not sure what onion rings cost so much more when all it is is onions dipped in batter and then fried. Like why is it $5? Beer was fine. Can't really mess up beer but the whiskey sour? Don't get a mixed drink here. That's all I can say. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 star rating was the atmosphere was decent and the waitresses were very nice and quick.

I'm super picky about my burgers but I finally found a place with CONSISTENTLY good burgers. Highly recommend the BBQ Bacon burger. The fries are seasoned perfectly as well. The pepperoni egg rolls are great. Nice light app but packed with flavor. Its a nice day to get something that isn't a boring side salad but also doesn't ruin your appetite. Recently they also started doing brunch buffet on Sunday's. $14.99 All You Can Eat. 11a-2p. Girls next to me got it and it looked great. Lots of options that you don't normally see, too... Breakfast pizza, Blueberry Pancakes, etc. They also have started a LTO (limited time only) food and drink menu. So if you come often enough, you can still get variety. Impressive craft beer menu also makes this place a great venue to watch the game/match/race/etc. There's a parking lot across the street. Its paid during the weekdays (and Saturday) but free after 8pm and all day Sunday. Make sure to pay and park in an actual spot as they WILL tow!

Is the food good... yes, the atmosphere...yes, service...yes. There was something that I was not comfortable with and the small fees and suggestions on the bill. There is added credit card fee. I was also charged extra for a side without being told there was an extra charge. First time here, very good French dip sandwich. My dining companion and I were quite put off by the suggested tip amounts, on top of that the tip was calculated on the tax also. I myself was not so concerned, because I always check the bill and do my own tip calculations based on service, however there are many people who just pay what's put in front of them.

This a great local bar with good food. They have daily specials and game day specials. The bartenders and servers are friendly and attentive. For food, try any of their Mac n' cheeses! The Buffalo Mac is my fave, but you can also customize your own! They have an inside and outside bar. There is quite a bit of space. They also have events like trivia night, which is fun and you get prizes! This is one of my fave local bars in the Bridgeville area.

Rude staff. Door guy was great, but old lady server was awful. Food didn't look very good. Stick to beer or wine.

Crafty is like 31, such cool staff with indoor or outdoor seating. Sometimes has karaoke, darts to play. A wide selection of beers and different apps. Usually a good crowd here and attentive staff - parking is limited however. Pictured is grilled zucchini with bread which was delicious! Reasonable prices and roomy place not stuffy or overly packed most nights, room to move comfortably.

Food is always great here!! It always pleasantly surprises me. So much better quality than one would expect for a "bar". Drinks were good, maybe too good. The waitress was great too, so patient and kind dealing with our party, even after all the drinks!

Hello there everyone!! It was date night! We went here because we were tired from long work weeks. And also because it's close.the place is clean . The waitress was amazing and attentive and very nice. Now the food, we both got salads. My wife got the chicken salad that she said was very good. I got the gyro salad which is a deconstructed gyro over a bed of leafy greens. Very tasty !! Please go , I don't think that you will be disappointed. . Oh hey Happy Memorial Day . Stay Safe!!

Every time I come here I have a solid experience. This is a great addition to the downtown Bridgeville area. My family and I got takeout here several times during covid isolation, and the food was pretty good. I'd never been here to eat or hang out in person until recently. Came here on a Saturday night for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised at how lively the atmosphere was! There was a solid amount of people, live music, and indoor/outdoor spaces with lots of bar-type activities (darts, etc.). I tried a green tea shot and fries, and both were good! Overall really good experience, I'm looking forward to coming back sometime soon!

We stopped here for lunch and were blown away! The atmosphere was super chill we sat out on the patio. Every employee that we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The menu had a well rounded selection so it was hard to choose just one thing. We started out with some fun drinks and buffalo chicken dip. The drinks were very refreshing especially during this heat wave. The buffalo chicken dip is now deemed my new favorite and I'm a bit of a connoisseur. I ordered the honey bbq chicken wings and my boyfriend and I shared the carne asada fries. The wings were cooked just right and the sauce was tangy and sweet at the same time. Very tasty! The carne asada fries were my least favorite as I'm a little spoiled when it comes to this dish and it just didn't compare to what I'm used to. We're looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu!
