We stopped off here on a rainy October day. We are so glad we did. The ladies were very Welcoming and the food was amazing. Such generous portions. The macaroni cheese was the best I've tasted. My hubby had the soup and the steak and stout pie, goodness there was enough for a family of 4.||Definitely worth calling in. Thank you. Hopefully we'll be back (we'll make sure we're hungry first!)

We dined here twice as staying in B and B locally. Both meals were piping hot and tasty. The fish and chips were great as was the stir fry prawns on the special board. There was a good atmosphere here and a lovely welcome from the staff. Close to the beach to work up an appetite if needed. Lovely scenic area. Thank you

We ate lunch outside on a glorious, sunny day as we had a dog with us. The menu is extensive. There was a lamb and veg soup on offer, but my wife had Cullen Skink (smoked haddock and potato soup) and then a venison burger - made with local estate wild deer. She raved over both dishes. I had six, local oysters - they were large and delicious - the chef is great at shucking. The beer was keg but still excellent and not over chilled. This is a superb eating place. The chef comes out to tell you about the specials and is very friendly. We were just passing but will definitely return for a full dinner. All the staff are pleasant. The people on the next table all had langoustines and they looked superb. Do visit if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed!

(For the restaurant, not the hotel) Easily one of the best experiences at a restaurant in a long time. The food was absolutely amazing. Being from the US, it was a very welcome experience compared to our visits in other non-tourist centered locations (we try to avoid those). Me and my wife were awestruck by how kind and hospitable the staff and patrons were, and the food was beyond delicious. We just couldn't stop eating even when we said we were full. We can't recommend this enough and the views of the sea and mountains are amazing, just to top off the whole experience.

A lovely selection of exciting food options. There is a large variety of dishes that satisfy many preferences. The chef made an extra effort to prepare a vegan version of the gnocchi on the menu. It was absolutely perfect. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.

We stopped on the off chance after seeing a billboard out on the main road. What an absolute gem of a find. We both chose lobster mac and cheese, it came with garlic bread and salad, it was delicious and freshly cooked. The whole lunch menu was great and all meals were affordably priced. Service was friendly and we were made to feel welcome. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area, it opend at 12 noon, we're unsure what time they close, but worth checking out.

Food was fantastic. Beautiful views from the large panoramic windows. Staff were nice and polite. The restaurant is well decorated, comfortable and airy. We used the car park for overnight stop in our Camper (free of charge).

Nicest wee place in the local area. Welcoming staff friendly service. Bit of a wait as few staff around on the day I visited. Clean well run establishment with good choice of menu. Pricey but able to charge what they wish as little competition for them. I expect it is costly for them to procure provisions due to the hefty delivery charges which ALL of northern Scotland has to put up with. Would go back as made to feel welcome and nice place with lovely scenery nearby. I went to the area in May to do some hill walking and it was bitterly cold with snow on the high ground. Camping was fun in those conditions, shoulda booked into the Craggan, LOL.
