The Cranleigh Boutique - Windermere Hotel with Hot Tubs

We were so lucky to win a competition for a 2 night stay in the sanctuary suite and it was way beyond expectations. I had stayed a couple of times previously in the superior rooms so knew we would have a lovely stay. We arrived around 1pm not expecting the room to be ready but were happily told it was available to check straight in. We were welcomed with rose petals on the bed and a bottle of champagne chilling on ice. The room was fantastic and the outdoor hot tub was completely private. We had a menu for breakfast in the room which we filled in and was delivered to the suite right on time both mornings. The hot tub was a great treat and thank you to the cranleigh for the amazing experience. We were so chilled after our 2 nights we will definitely be returning.

Wow… amazing stay yesterday again. This time we stayed in the Escape suite and I have to say it was simply amazing. |The receptionist was so lovely and helpful on check in. The welcome back card and chocolates were a lovely surprise.|The room itself is stunning and the complimentary mini bar was fab.|The added bonus of breakfast delivered to the suite was fully taken advantage of and yet again the food was outstanding.|The love winter offer with the £50 food vouchers was spent at the lake view garden bar this time and it was the best Sunday roast Iv had in a long time.. we had the sharing platter and it really was outstanding.|Thank you so much for another amazing stay. Of course we will be back as we just love it.

Just arrived home from our 3rd stay at the Cranleigh boutique hotel. Our first stay was in room 15 and our next 2 stays including this one in luxury room 9. The decor throughout the hotel feels very opulent and it is always spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows are super comfortable and the decor adds to the luxury feel of the room. Our room was at the top of the building with 2 flights of stairs so bear in mind if you struggle with stairs. The bathroom has underfloor heating and a spa bath with TV and separate shower. Fluffy towels and robes are also provided. There is a large wall mounted tv with Netflix included and the card welcoming us back left on the bed with some beautiful chocolates was a lovely touch. The breakfast is amazing and the produce used first class. Every member of the team goes out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. We have and would highly recommend and will be back again next year |Thanks for a great stay again

We have just arrived home from a post new year stay. We were looking forward to this stay after reading the reviews and word of mouth from friends who have stayed previously. The staff here are fantastic. Nothing is too much. They were very responsive when I emailed asking a few questions. We stayed for a birthday and wedding anniversary, they left a lovely card and chocolates on the bed. Very nice and personal touch. We did experience a few issues, such as being supplied out of date milk, which was quickly sorted but we also had no hot water for the first night, so after going for a long walk we were unable to shower or take a bath before heading out. We had to simply grab a sandwich and eat in the room, not ideal. The staff were very apologetic, and I appreciate it is out of their control, but no discounts or anything were given for the inconvenience. We also had dirty linen, and other areas looked tired, for £140+ a night room, everything should be perfect. We also experienced issues with noise from other rooms. Ear plugs are supplied, but not everyone likes to use them. Our room neighbours were very inconsiderate blasting loud music at 2am in the morning, impacting sleep. ||Breakfast was fabulous, lots of options to choose from, pancakes were amazing. the room could do with a spruce. On checkout, we also received some homemade brownies, which was a lovely touch. ||Overall, I've marked down due to no hot water and other little issues experienced. Lovely central hotel, but on this occasion, it wasn't the relaxing break away we envisioned!

Such a relaxing experience. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too much. Breakfast delivered daily to our room right on time and delicious. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom amazing and shower pressure great. Bathrobes extremely soft and cosy.

We have stayed here many time, we love the accommodation, staff so friendly and so close to the bars & lake in Bowness.|We stayed in room 9, top floor great size room, huge bed luxury room.|We have stayed in many different rooms and never been disappointed.

We have stayed at the Cranleigh a number of times, and we return for a reason, it’s fantastic!||We stayed in the Escape suite for 2 nights on Saturday & Sunday 28th & 29th, it is a fantastic room with all modern facilities, we asked for breakfast in the room, on the Sunday we had been out all day and forgot to pre order, the receptionist rang and confirmed our order for the following day, great service 😊||If you are looking for 5 star accommodation in the centre of Bowness then the Cranleigh is perfect 👌
