The Cranleigh Boutique

We stayed at The Cranleigh for one night on Friday 8th August. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely receptionist, sorry we didn't catch who checked us in. When we got to our room the hotel had left a card and some chocolates as it was our Wedding Anniversary which was a lovely touch. There is parking at the front and also the back of the hotel for guests. The room was excellent. Loved the decor. The only teeny tiny little issue we could see was that there is mould starting to build in the bathroom, but im not surprised given how old the building is. The Hotel is in a perfect location less than 5 mins walk to many of the bars and restaurants in Bowness. Perfect for getting back nice and quick after a few drinks. The Hotel also offers discounts in some of the bars and restaurants so it was great to take advantage of that. We had breakfast the next morning in the hotel, which was beautiful. Huge portions too. Staff again at breakfast were super efficient and friendly. Loved our stay, the only regret we had was that we didn't stay for longer however we are already planning our next visit to return.

We stayed in the Opulence suite and it was amazing, the giant big bath was lovely and we were able to watch a movie in the water while in the comfort of our own room. The room itself was beautiful and there was a lovely smell in the room. The warm welcome we received at reception when checking in really started our stay on a high and it never dipped. We stayed for my birthday and the staff left lovely chocolates and a card for me in the room. We both really loved the shower in the room also. Our only regret is not staying for more nights. Thank you to the lovely staff and our brownie this morning was delicious.

It was our 35th wedding anniversary we arrived at 1pm 2 hrs earlier than check in . Our rooms was ready which was fantastic, it was all decorated in red petals and bag huttons chocolates. A lovely gesture from the staff . The Superior room was great lovely bed hot showers and only 2 minute walk into bowness . All shops and restaurants pubs in the vicinity fantastic location . Following morning breakfast loads chose from buffet style first cereals cakes , then order full breakfast which was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Cranleigh Boutique Hotel for all ages.

This is our 5th visit to the Cranleigh Hotel. It is our favourite place to stay in the area. We paid for an upgrade and stayed in the Sanctuary Suite, which is a beautiful bungalow style room. Amazingly decorated internally with a lovely high ceiling, stunning shower room with additional bath, with TV available whilst soaking in bubbles. Gorgeous hot tub outside which was very private and not overlooked. Speakers outside too which meant we could listen to music with some fizz. Breakfast was brought to our room on a daily basis and was just perfect. |We absolutely love this hotel and will certainly be returning. If I was to give any feedback at all that would improve our stay, I would simply say that the front of the bungalow could have done with some prettier flowers to make it stand out and add some colour. The net curtains were a tad drab, so I think maybe some modern blinds would be better, considering the room is so opulent. Just a couple of tips to improve it slightly. We really enjoyed our stay. |The rooms were very well presented and felt relaxing. The breakfast was very good and served at a time that suited you. Staff very friendly and helpful. The added places you could eat and drink with a discount was very good |In a great location not far from the lake and the shops and places to eat. |Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous service and a truly lovely place to stay. We had booked to stay a week earlier but due to a family funeral being suddenly announced we had to ask if they could change our booking at short notice. They couldn't have been more helpful - and dates were rearranged with no quibble whatsoever. Our room, (5), was spotless and everything we could have hoped for. Our stay included afternoon tea at the Fizzy Tarte which was also excellent - as were the cocktails. The staff at both the Boutique and the Fizzy Tarte, which is part of the Cranleigh setup, were all so friendly. Lots of choice and great food at breakfast.| |Great location too, ideal walking distance into the town or down to the lake.| |To say we had a great experience would be an understatement - it was excellent and even the weather couldn't spoil it - though it tried ;-)| |Thank you all at Cranleigh and the Fizzy Tarte.

Dissapointed with room. Very hot all day and night even with fan.|All about looks than practicality.|One wardrobe used for tea,coffee kettle and a little ?fridge, other wardrobe had ironing board and iron.|No space in bathroom for own toiletries.|Minimal drawer space.|Tiled floor and bath very slippery when wet.|Trying to advertise teddy on bed for sale at reception a whopping £25.|Only given one door swipe card, wouldnt give us two why?????| Many steps to access property and steep slope to back car park. Not disabled or wheelchair friendly.|Breakfast was good|Wouldnt stay here again

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Cranleigh Boutique. The room was beautifully decorated, blending comfort with luxury, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The highlight was not just the stylish ambiance but also the easy access to the lakes, which made exploring Bowness incredibly convenient.|Staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The location is perfect peaceful yet central.

The place is amazing. it has just been fitted out and the style will blow you away the rooms are immaculate with a huge telly in our room and the breakfast is one of the best I have had. The Cranleigh is close to the shops in Bowness-on-Windermere which is where all the streamers leave to take your round the lake.

Outstanding place to stay. The best in the location. Their rooms and suites are the best I've ever seen and stayed in. The church suites are on another level. Service is excellent, location is perfect. They have parking and are connected with The Fizzy Tarte cocktail bar and BAHA restaurant which again are the best places to eat and drink in the area. If you like Quality then look no further. Prices are reasonable. You get access to a spa and leisure facilities and the reception staff cannot do enough for you. They are voted the best place to stay on trip advisor also and have the largest Facebook following I have ever seen for a hotel. Excellent brand and clearly they care.
