The Craven Heifer, Addingham

Our party of 4 had Sunday lunch here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We all had roast dinners-3 beef and 1 turkey. The food was really good and portions generous. The service was also good and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to family and friends.

Visited for Sunday lunch with my daughter,lovely place with friendly helpful staff-and a good pint of Hetton ale! Excellent roast beef and giant Yorkshire pudding,vegetables well cooked and generous portions. Spoilt for choice with the pudding menu,I had the chocolate orange cheesecake whilst my daughter had the Smores dessert.Both were delicious and such good sized portions that she had to have half of hers boxed up to take home for later!(which the waitress very willingly sorted) Thank you,we'll definitely be back!

Visited for lunch on a Friday. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had our dog with us, so we sat in the bar area. Good selection of real ales on tap. Varied lunch menu, with a good choice to select from. We had the steak and ale pie and burger, both large portions, and extremely delicious. My husband said it was the best pie he had ever had!

A warm welcome awaits the weary traveller. Our room - Heathcliffe - was warm, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfasts are tasty and generous. We stayed here before Christmas so we could meet up with our children who live in Yorkshire.

We booked a table in the bar to watch the football. When we arrived there was a slight mix up with our booking. The staff were very helpful and sorted it out immediately. We ordered our food and were very impressed with the options on the menu. Food arrived and we were very happy with the quality and the portions. The staff were fantastic very friendly and helpful we would recommend it to anyone for some great food and a good atmosphere THANKS 😊

We stayed 2 night in the De Havilland room which was excellent. Large bed, cosy and warm with both bath and separate shower. Really friendly and welcoming team. We found breakfast a bit hit and miss to be honest. First morning no brown bread and my cooked breakfast had black pudding you could hammer nails in with, bacon that shattered when approached with a knife. Soft fried eggs that were not soft and I asked for mushrooms and no hash browns and got served exactly the opposite. Second morning was really good so 🤷‍♂️. Would I recommend this place. Yip, you bet. The team members were friendly welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to help. That makes a huge difference.

We rang on the off chance and they managed to squeeze us in for Sunday lunch. They were very busy and it’s easy to see why. The best Sunday lunch we have ever had! Service was excellent & food amazing.

Great Sunday Roast|Friendly quick service and the food was delicious.|Had the festive Sunday roast which came with stuffing and pigs in blankets. Beef was cooked perfectly and fab gravy.

Always a warm welcome, excellent service , good food very well priced. An eclectic menu , with Steak Nights during the week.At the time of press, the cheapest drinking pub in Addingham to boot! Highly recommended.

A gastro pub with a real homely feel. Roaring fires when it's cold outside and a very warm welcome every time I have been here/ The food is imaginative yet unpretentious and the quality of cookinb very good indeed. It's well priced too and has a decent selection of wine and beer too.

Fully refurbished as a gastro pub and now firing on all cylinders. Some really outstanding food, particuarly seabass risotto, makes this place justifiably popular. TT Landlord is well-kept and wine list is reasonably priced but a bit short. With food this good, they could do with expanding the wines a tad. Service was a bit slow on last visit (15th March 2009) but it was Sunday lunchtime and we did arrive at 12.30 so not entirely unexpected.
