Visited for 1 night, wished I'd stayed a bit longer on trip! I was warned in advance room was above a bar, was not an issue as was attending a concert and by the time I got back to the hotel, all the noise of the evening had gone. Ideal location for anyone visiting Ulster Hall, was a 10 minute walk. Room was huge! Beds were huge the bathroom was huge! Very spacious room. Big opening windows and thick blackout curtains. Shower was excellent - had a big overhead rainfall head as well as detachable hose. Temperature and pressure were great. Variety of toiletries provided along with towels, hairdryer and iron and ironing board if you like that kind of thing. Check-in was self check in via a touch screen, easy to work and then a free beer as a reward! There is no lift in the building, my room was 3 flights up, so not suitable if not able to use stairs. Excellent, can't fault and would stay again and recommend.

Nice hotel, old but modernized, no lift so not accessible for the elderly easily. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, tea coffee in bedroom. Nice bar downstairs with excellent friendly staff one of them even made up a special cocktail for my partner. Choice for breakfast is Ulster fry, omelet or pancakes. BUT and it is quiet a big but. It is probably the noisiest hotel I have ever been in. The sumo wrestler in the room next-door walked on the floor and our floorboards moved. Despite your best efforts you cannot close the doors to the rooms quietly not that most people even bothered to try, constant banging of doors even from the lower floor. The street noise was horrendous screaming teenagers up to 3 o'clock in the morning and then delivery trucks outside from early morning delivering to the local shops pizzeria etc. directly across from the hotel. So the bottom line is very nice hotel with excellent staff comfortable rooms but the whole experience ruined by huge amounts of noise. Also only on street parking up the road from hotel.

Great and central place to stay! We absolutely loved the spacious room and the comfortable bed. Jakob at the reception was super helpful both with our bags and recommendations of things to do and see. We felt welcome from the very start and always had a contact person to help us out with any queries. The hotel is in immediate proximity to the Botanic Garden and surrounded by a great mix of restaurants. In the midst of the hustle-puzzle it can get quite noise during the night. Water pressure is rather low so flushing the toilet requires some patience. Also the shower head needs descaling. Overall we really enjoy our stay and would come back anytime when staying in Belfast.

Mrs T and I stayed in the Chelsea Suite; this was clean, spacious and well appointed; it was also inexpensive and well located. The room was traditionally decorated as was the bathroom, it looked slightly dated, but everything was in good working order and the room felt cozy and romantic. The shower was hot and went all the way up to flail. The tea and coffee making facilities were okay and the two complementary bottles of water were a nice touch, albeit a single packet of 2 biscuits to share seemed stingy. Breakfast was decent and served in the ground floor café. The only downside was the noise (particularly music) from the gin bar we were located over. This was persistent from around 5pm to 1am on the Thursday and Friday night we stayed. It wasn't super loud (my phone suggested 30 to 50dB), but it was irritating - although solved with earplugs. I would stay again.

Stayed over nite at the Crescent Townhouse in a double room. Checking in was easy n staff were helpful. The rates were competitive and for a little bit more breakfast is included. The room was clean and up to date the bed was comfortable, and with facilities to make tea n coffee, a biscuits included which is always a treat. The townhouse is in Botanic with easy access to the wider area. Definitely one to visit again.

Room 206 View was the Empire 😊 Bed was a bit dated and a bit small (double) for us but apart from that the room is clean tidy and warm. Very spacious. Lady at reception was lovely and seemed down to earth. Would definitely recommend

Had quite a nice stay here! Our room was clean but a little noisy, not surprising since it's located near the University. We enjoyed being near such fabulous restaurants, the neighbourhood is very lovely!

Best location in town, close to everything. Cute old fashioned style, claw foot tub, good internet, fair room rate. The Chelsea Suite is right next to a night club, which was pretty loud on Saturday night. It was warm and there’s no AC, so we had to leave the window open, so the noise was a nuisance.

Yelp
VERY HARD TO FIND. It is connected to a bar and cafe, and the sign out front is so small and old. So when our GPS said we had arrived, we had no clue where the place was. Once we got in, it was lovely. No elevator and a steep trek up to the 4th floor but it had a real townhouse feel and a wonderful view of downtown Belfast.
