Croke Park Hotel, you almost had it all—lovely staff, great location, and a comfortable stay. Almost. Unfortunately, I drew the short straw and ended up with a room featuring a rebellious fan. The internal one was broken, and after some back-and-forth, they got it sorted. But the external fan? Oh, that thing had the energy of a toddler on a sugar rush—whirring, humming, and making sure sleep remained just out of reach. Staff were absolute gems—helpful, kind, and genuinely trying their best. But with no other rooms available, I had to embrace the soothing (?) sounds of industrial ventilation. Great hotel, but if you get the “special fan experience,” bring earplugs… or a strong sense of humour.

l arrived early and could check us in as soon as I arrived. That's always a bonus. All the staff I encountered were all really helpful. The room itself was spotless, and I had two king size bed. I also had a walk in shower on one side of the bathroom and a bath on the other. Really nice White Company toiletries. The room was well stocked with different teas, coffees, biscuits, water and hot chocolate. I had all the items l needed, such as hair dryer, safe, fridge and iron. Location is directly facing Croke Park. Parking was 15 euros per day. The food in the restaurant was good portions, great price and very tasty. Breakfast was good. Vegetarian sausages available.

We had the most amazing experience at the Croke Park Hotel. The staff were wonderful, the room was beautifully decorated, the food was amazing. The grandchildren had a ball. Our waiters could not do enough to make our day any better. We were having a Christmas family day and we are all still talking about it. It is our annual event. The last one coincided with one of the families big birthday, naturally that was the theme .From the ladies who helped me organize it on the phone to the waiters and the manager Mick a big thank you from all of us. You made our Christmas. Thank you to Therese, Caroline, Alex, And Mick. I hopefully am not leaving out the wonderful ladies in Events who were so kind, efficient and just amazing. I cannot thank you all enough.

Google
Superb service start to finish! Tip, sign up for their points scheme to avail of free parking and breakfast! Room was brilliant, mini bar option a nice touch, stunning view of the stadium and access to the business lounge was just the icing on the cake! We will be back!

I do not recommend. Everything is good, but the renovation from 8 am is unbearable on a weekend, especially. I would understand if it was from 10 am, but not from 8. The sounds of a drill and knocking do not let you sleep at all. Calling the reception did not help. You should not worry about the comfort of your guests. You could have given a room in another part of the hotel where you could at least get some sleep. I have no desire to return.

We stayed in early January when the hotel was quiet. We had an excellent stay. The staff are great in this hotel. They are super efficient, friendly and smile regularly. The rooms are super clean, great beds and the food is very good and well priced in the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Google
Stayed at the Croke Park Hotel for the first time this weekend. The check in was lovely and smooth and the receptionist was lovely. He was very friendly and chatty. The room was good. We had 2 double beds and a view of Croke Park. The beds are the comfiest beds we ever slept in. The hotel and room was spotless. So warm and welcoming. The only thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast. The hot food was not nice. The scrambled egg and beans were cold both mornings. The hash browns were under cooked (pale in colour) and soggy.

I had a Very pleasant stay. Room was spacious, Bathroom spacious and clean. Serene ambience. I ordered pizza which was not good at all in terms of preparation and taste and that was the only thing I did not like.

Yelp
Fantastic hotel with spacious and beautiful rooms, excellent service, and beautiful decor. The breakfast is great, they have a good amount of options and freshly squeezed orange juice. The dinner at the restaurant was also delicious. The hotel is about 15-20 minute walk from the city center, which isn't ideal but not far. It's a cool vibe when there's a game going on at the stadium across the street. The only thing that doesn't work great is the elevator - you have to scan your room card to access it, but the scanner does not work very well and it can take many tries. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time at the hotel!

Yelp
Service at the Croke park is exceptional! I always have the pleasure of staying here when I come for work the staff is incredibly kind. They are very knowledgeable about the area. the hotel is kept very clean the rooms are spacious! The breakfast is one of my favorite things about coming over to Dublin! It's not close to the downtown area but taxis and Ubers are cheap.

Yelp
Well..what can I say. I'll start with the good parts of the hotel. The room was huge and as far as rooms going in stayg in hotels, that's a luxury. The hotel is somewhat updated. The bed blanket was very cozy and the bed was comfortable. I could not turn a light on in a room, without using the door card. The bathroom was nursing home-ish, w s standing shower, bars, etc, a string near the toilet. there was an over nursing home vibe of the room, in fact there was a remnant call button by the bed. It's a pricey hotel, so it took me back. I asked the front desk concierge about it being a nursing home. She insisted it was built as a hotel. Also, your room cards are demagnetized by being near a credit card or phone. So, I had to get my cards reset. Not too far into the stay, did neither of my door keys work on the elevator- the elevator needed to be carded in order to go your floor. That would be a good safety thg if it worked. The bonus, if that's what you're after is it's literally across to Croke Park. There's a castle hotel which is cheaper. I'll see what that's like on my last night in Dublin. While this hotel has glowing reviews, I felt compelled to write about it. There was a couple leaving as I arrived. I ssked how yhe hotel was. Invtheir tone, they indicated 'meh.' I guess I will too

Yelp
Stunning hotel for a good value. We stayed here 1 night on a long layover. The breakfast was nice. The location was kinda sketchy but a 15 minute easy ride to the airport. The beds were VERY comfy and the room was quiet. Easy check in and out, friendly staff.

Yelp
This was by the nicest and most modern hotel and rooms we stayed at during our 2 week tour of Ireland, isn't that odd. It felt like modern times for once, rooms were nicely appointed, cool wire lights in the main lobby and reception area. It was a clean and spacious room. The beds were comfy, room was perfect to sleep 2 peeps. My mother and I enjoyed staying in this nicer hotel for several days.

Maddie H.

Yelp
We had a nice stay here our last night in Dublin. The accommodations were comfortable and we slept well here. After staying in bed and breakfasts the whole time in Ireland it was nice to end our trip in a hotel that has more privacy. The staff were all fabulous. The location was not convenient to the bars and other places we wanted to go more in the heart of the city. It was maybe a 10 minute cab ride so it wasn't too bad. This may be the only thing keeping me from staying here again, but otherwise it was a very nice place.

Jeanette R.

Yelp
Great hotel. Clean, up to date, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast buffet with delicious array of juices, teas, coffee, hot food, fruits, eggs, avocado toast, etc. So worth it. The serving staff was on it so kind. There's the hop on hop off bus you can catch at the hotel, and a museum near by. Just ask the concierge a very friendly informative man. The hotel is only 15 minute walk to Henry Street for shopping. Then, another 5 minutes from there to Temple bar for restaurant, pubs, and dancing. A famous place a Irish fun night out. I was warned not to walk around the hotel area too late at night preferably. Nothing a cab ride can't fix.Great stay and lots to do. Enjoy!!

Yelp
We are so happy that we decided to stay at the Croke Park! We stayed for two nights, separated by a night in between spent in Trim. We felt welcomed each time that we checked it, and both of our rooms were very comfortable--spacious with huge beds and modern bathrooms. You can tell that the entire facility is well-attended-to. Parking was critical for us as we were road tripping--the Croke Park has nice underground parking that is included with your stay and connected to the lobby via elevator. The price point was great for the location. The Croke Park is just at the edge of the main downtown area. For us, it was about a 10-15 minute walk to the riverfront/Temple Bar area. Finally, the hotel was very flexible with our check out time. We were supposed to be out by 11, but we had a wedding to get ready for at 1:30. The staff let us push our checkout back until 1. Would definitely recommend!

Lance O.

Yelp
You know you are in the right place, when your flight is delayed, you don't arrive until 1:00 am in the morning and the staff goes above an beyond, they even opened up the bar just for us! The rest of stay was just as impressive!

Christy F.

Yelp
Enjoyed our stay, parking was great, service was great - all of the staff members were extremely welcoming, and offered their advice on where we could go based on our short timeline in Dublin. The room was clean, nice and comfy, nice toiletries; no complaints. The only downside is that this is not as close to restaurants/bars as you would hope it would be.

Kimberly L.

Yelp
I stayed here during my trip to Ireland. We rented a car and it was great that the car park was free. I thought the hotel rooms were really nice. The bed was comfortable and big and the room had a lot of amenities - free wifi, hair dryer, cd player, fridge etc. The bathroom had both a standing shower and a tub which was relaxing. The only con is the location - it is about a 15-20 min. walk to the center of Temple Bar so we mostly took taxi's home at night. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The Doyle collection is a company I'd never heard of prior to my trip but the hotels are definitely worth looking into!

Thai T. N.

Yelp
Had dinner in their lounge. Heard the salmon was delicious but was in the mood for seafood linguine. Pasta was nicely cooked and evenly seasoned. Also ordered soft shell crabs for appetizer and it was equally impressive. Staff was very nice and attentive.

Yelp
One of the very best hotel I have stayed ever. I travel on a regular basis and I have stayed at some pretty nice hotels, it's rare for me to give high ratings when it comes to hotels. This hotel is very well kept. Extremely clean and neat. Their bathroom is amazing (is this weird?) I never in my life thought I would do bubble bath, especially when it's not my own bathtub. But oh my, their staff must have scrub the heck out them bathtubs for them to look oh so shiny. Like brand new shiny. They also have pretty nice warm and cold breakfast in the morning, 630am to 10am? Would love to come back SOON!

Yelp
I love this hotel. The location is not in the center of the city, but the hotel is great! It's very spacious, clean rooms with a fridge, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and butter cookies. The bathroom is very nice - clean and very functional with usual complimentary items. The fitness facility is equipped with weight machines, treadmills, cross trainers, steppers, yoga mats, barbells, towels and complimentary fruit and bottled waters. Free wifi, a business center and a great restaurant! The hot breakfast in the morning is fantastic! If you want to go to O'Connel Street and take the public transportation. You can take the Dublin bus 11, 13 or 16 across from Quinn's Pub in Drumcondra, which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The train station is a short walk from the hotel also. My friend and I walked downtown which is about 15 minutes away. We wanted to get our Fitbit steps, so it was a pleasant stroll. The botanical garden is also nearby which is worth checking out. Don't go running around at night! My friend and I were walking around this alley near the stadium and there were a few riffraffs hanging around there.

Yelp
Stayed here in September during a very busy week because of the Gaelic football league finals. We were there before the big game and stayed the Monday after the big game. Loved our accommodations and the breakfast every morning. Our package included a tour of Dublin which was a great bonus. The staff was very helpful and I loved all the communication leading up to our stay. They were very informative and helpful when I was emailing them back and forth. The hotel is a short distance from the Dublin airport and right across the street from the Croke Park stadium. The Irish breakfast every morning had a lot of variety and I really enjoyed trying all of the traditional Irish items on the buffet. The dinner that we had there was fabulous. The seafood chowder was amazing and tried their fish and chips which did not disappoint. My colleague also tried the shepherds pie which was equally yummy.

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant. Don't expect service here. I just walked out on my check after waiting over an hour for it. Service was non existent. I had to flag down a waiter just to get a 12 oz glass of water. I was planning on drinking tonight, but after that I decided not to. I can get betted service in a pub.

Yelp
This hotel is reminiscent of a Holiday Inn express, but twice the cost. Our room was on the first floor and we could hear chairs sliding across the floor for set up of breakfast and tear down of dinner. The hotel cost over 2x the cost of our inn the evening before that included a delicious breakfast and old Ireland charm. If you are looking for a quiet, charming spot...this is not it. On a positive note, the bed and pillows were comfy.

Yelp
I was actually really bummed about this hotel: I was expecting so much more! We spent our last night in Ireland here and was really hoping for above bar service and comfort but at the end of it, we felt it was simply middle of the road. Upon arrival we checked in with a lackluster member of the staff-they were quite a change from the happy and friendly people we met during most of our trip throughout Ireland. Again, not terrible, but not exceptional. I went over to the concierge desk to ask if he could call a local spot to make reservations for dinner for us, he obliged but I found the number for him on my phone as he hadn't heard of the place (Shocking because it actually considered to be on of the up and coming places in town). The lobby is roomy, well appointed and there is a restaurant on site. Our room was fine-no help with our luggage was offered at check in-not that we would have taken it. The elevator was... scary, and confusing. You have to enter your card then press the button to get it to move (not confusing there) but then it wouldn't move, and kept taking us back to the ground floor when it finally did go up and down. Eventually we got to our room, whew. And it was two full beds. I requested a King when I made the reservation and the front desk didn't mention anything when we checked it. You'd think seeing a couple check in they'd have brought it up- but at that point I was ready to change for dinner and head out again. Oh well. The bathrooms are spacious, and the rooms large for a hotel. I found my (however lonely and small) bed to be comfortable and there was plenty of closet space should we have needed it. After dinner we were both exhausted from traveling and knew we'd have to get up early for our flight. We head back to the hotel to relax. We ordered dessert for room service. Pie, a chocolate pudding, and coffee service. It arrived over a half hour later, without the coffee I had ordered. I wasn't interested in having it without the dessert so I told him not to worry about it. Once the server left, we opened our tray to find the pie we ordered in a puddle of cream.. formerly our ice cream I guess? How disappointing for the price of room service to have it melted like that-completely. That, plus the lack of my coffee order, made the whole dessert in the room idea a bummer. We slept fine, sadly separate. It was quiet in the hotel and we were not disturbed. (I've heard it can be noisier when there's a game at Croke Park, right across the street) All in all, I was excited and sold on the way the website was marketed-but the reality was a "fine."

Marco V.

Yelp
Loved the room and location. Food was also great. Comfy beds!! And the service was outstanding. If we ever find ourselves in Dublin again, we're definitely staying here.

Jenna J.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with great amenities! Room was so nice, only drawback was the location. Kind of a hike to get anywhere if you want to walk. My husband and I stayed here for it last night in Ireland before flying out of Dublin in the morning and it was the perfect wrap up to our Ireland vacation.

Becky P.

Yelp
What a great hotel! Super classy and extra luxurious, it made our last day in Dublin a true treat! I especially loved the moist towels we got at check-in. After a long day of driving, it was good to clean up a little bit. Free parking, which was a necessity because it was pretty packed for street parking in the surrounding area. Had an excellent breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, lots of choices, including Irish breakfast of course! They even got me a to-go cup for my coffee. Just a note- beware the mini-bar! They charge your room when something is removed, not good when the other half takes almost everything out of the fridge to investigate! WHOOPS!

Sabine L.

Yelp
Nice and clean hotel with free WiFi. The people that checked us in and out were helpful and friendly. The location is perfect - at least when we were there and there was no event at the stadium. It's about a 10 min. walk to the main drag. Couldn't get a hold of a soul around 8pm when I was trying to get a wake up call for the next morning. Thankfully, my phone worked and I was able to head to the airport on time.

Cat H.

Yelp
Very nice hotel across from Croke Park. Clean, modern, attractive decor, super comfortable rooms with nice amenities. Free parking in Dublin is worth its weight in gold! The pub/restaurant has reasonably priced (for a hotel) food. It is about a 10-15 minute walk thru some old Georgian neighborhoods to upper O'Connell St. near the Garden of Remembrance, where you can get on one of the "hop on hop off" buses that are the best way for visitors to get around Dublin. I will stay here again!

Geoff C.

Yelp
We just stayed at the Croke Park Hotel for a week, and could not really have been happier with it. Because my wife and I were honeymooning in Dublin, and I wanted everything to go smoothly, I called two days ahead to make sure the reservation was confirmed and to inform them that our flight would have us arriving at the hotel around 10am. I was told that it would not be a problem to arrive early. When we arrived, we were upgraded to their executive level which got us free continental breakfast every morning as well as a free drink for each of us from the bar every evening. And when we got to our room, there was champagne waiting for us on ice. A very thoughtful touch. Overall, the stay was great, with no problems whatsoever. The only colorful occurrence happened midway through our stay when there was a GAA playoff game between Dublin and Tyrone, which had the hotel packed full of people. We though that the noise might be a problem, but not at all. The room was quiet and even the people who the packed bar and restaurant area after the game were very courteous. There is even free parking for hotel patrons, which we had to avail ourselves of one evening when we returned too late from Galway and the cliffs of Moher to return our rental car. My only complaint would be that they should not completely fill the mini-bar with items so that guests can use it to put in leftover food or drinks they may have. Other than that, the Croke Park Hotel is absolutely superb. I will recommend it to anyone traveling to Dublin, and my wife and I plan on returning at some point in the future.

YY. Y.

Yelp
As often as I stay at this hotel while in town, the rooms have always been clean. Fresh clean sheets, nearly spotless bathroom- no random curly strands of hair from previous patrons. The hotel staff is especially polite and accommodating. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant has a wide range on the menu and the fitness center has modern up-to-date equipment. The walk into town is not long at all. For the most part, the area is safe, although, at night can be sketchy. Two thumbs up, for sure.

Yelp
I stayed at the Croke Park Hotel during my stay in Dublin this April. The hotel is located just across the street to Dublin's biggest Stadium for Rugby, Gaelic Football and Hurling, the Croke Park. The hotel itself was very nice. Great service (our room lacked towels when we first arrived and a call to reception fixed that up in like 5 minutes), the rooms were very clean on arrival and the housekeeping did a great job cleaning the rooms every day. The bathroom looked great on arrival and was cleaned perfectly every day! The room I stayed in was equiped with a minibar, a TV-Set, free Wi-Fi and a small safe. All in all: A great hotel and a very pleasant place to spend your time in Dublin!

Alyssa P.

Yelp
Excellent hotel in Dublin with friendly classy service. This hotel as you can likely tell from it's name is right across from Croke Park. Therefore it is about a 15 min walk to say Trinity College. Although definitely doable and pleasant walk. Upon check in you are given warm moist towel to freshen up. The rooms are very will maintained. Nice bath products are provided. An excellent tea and instant coffee selection is provided in the room. A decent amount of TVs channel are also available. The staff were very friendly and helpful at the front desk. Showed us and gave us Maps to get around and tips on where to eat. The rooms had a thermostat so you can control your own temperature We also had the full breakfast downstairs which was amazing. The full Irish breakfast including rashers puddings scrambled or fried eggs hash brown's beans tomatoes. In addition there are delicious pastries and croissants. When you sit down you are offered hit tea it coffee and fresh toast white brown or both. There are delicious Jams to spread on the toast. There was also fresh natural yogurt with multiple fruit and granola toppings my favorite was the mango puree. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly. The downstairs Lobbt was lovely. There was a very nice bar and sitting area with warm fireplace and large TVs. Bathrooms were also better clean with nice hand soap and lotions.

Erik G.

Yelp
Croke Park hotel is about 15 minutes from the Dublin airport, very welcoming and accommodating staff. The 'pièce de résistance' has to be the breakfast, served from 7-11am, its a hot breakfast with a selection of juices, but the yogurt bar is THE best, it features honey comb and, fruit, granola, jams that you can top the yogurt with. Absolutely worth waking up early for! The rooms are so clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are beautiful, clean, separate shower and tub. The area is nice and quite, Tesco shopping is about a block and a half down and about a 20 minute walk from the Temple Bar area.

Jenny T.

Yelp
Amazing European 5 star hotel with excellent service. The Croke Park hotel is such a modern hotel with very comfortable upscale rooms and wonderfully clean and beautiful bathrooms. The hotel is a 12 minute walk from the pubs and is also a cheap cab ride from downtown. An example of their excellent service is when we ordered breakfast, there was some confusion as to whether we had confirm the order or not. We called down and they told us that they thought that we did not put the order through, but admitted that it may have been a miscommunication. They later brought up some sandwiches and chips for us free of charge. Their breakfast can either be a buffet or made-to-order and can be taken out in a doggy bag. The front desk was also very courteous with us and helped arrange a day bus tour and gave us helpful advice on how to get around town. If ever I am in Dublin again, I would stay at The Croke Park Hotel.

Michelle C.

Yelp
My mom and I stayed at Croke Park Hotel during our last 2 nights in Dublin. After traveling all over Ireland and London, we were looking for a nice, clean hotel to unwind in before a trip back home to Chicago. Croke Park Hotel was it! The check-in experience was quick and quite unremarkable. However the lobby was very welcoming with Christmas decorations. The first floor lobby area is quite large, open and airy which makes you feel quite welcome and comfortable from the get-go. I appreciated the computers in the lobby which allowed for us to print our boarding passes the morning we left (at no cost). We were delighted to find out that you can purchase hop-on-hop-off bus tour tickets from the front desk. We were also delighted that there was a shuttle bus that picks up at 9:30am to take you to your first stop (though there is no bus to return you back to the hotel in the evening). Additionally, there is a discount offered if you purchase them at the desk rather than waiting to get to town and purchase them at a bus stop, etc.. The room itself was one of the larger rooms we stayed in during our time in Europe and I was delighted with the large bathroom with a bathtub and shower option (which were separate of one another in the bathroom). The room did have a distinct chemical smell, probably from the cleaning supplies they used to clean the room. And although the smell was unpleasant, we aired the room out and quickly got rid of the odor (there was one window to open in the entire room, which only opened a crack, but enough for fresh air, etc.). The bar/eating area on the first floor is fantastic! My mom and I had a relaxing drink in the bar the first afternoon, and I ordered their clam chowder which was out of this world delicious! We had dinner at the restaurant two nights, and I was able to try their mushroom lasagna which was also very good. The service is so-so. I wish our servers had been more attentive; we probably would have ordered more drinks! Breakfast is also served in/near the restaurant. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip (a cold, Continental spread with cheeses, fruit and pastry options, though there was a full hot breakfast option which was included for a price). The coffee was so-so. Quite honestly, the only drawback to the property is the distance to the city center. Although many people don't mind the walk, I was with my 60+ year old mom and on a cold night the last thing we wanted to do was walk or stand in the cold waiting for a bus or train. A cab was a much easier (though more costly) option. However, the hotel is within 10-15 mins. from the airport, which was convenient. I would stay here again, but it would not be my first choice when in Dublin, based solely on its proximity to the city center.

Patricia C.

Yelp
I'd really like to give this place 3.5 stars, but 3 is too low considering the cleanliness and customer service, and 4 seems fair enough. Pros: The staff is really friendly whether it's the concierge, check-in desk, cleaning staff, or room service. I couldn't beat the price anywhere else in Dublin and it's right next to Croke Park Stadium if you want to catch a game. Literally. Across the street! Cons: it's about a 10/15 minute walk to City Centre, which sounds like nothing, but when you've been out all day and you're ready to get home, it's annoying. Or when the buses stop running late at night and you have to walk back to your hotel, it's scary. Dubliners will tell you that you never have to be concerned, but come in close *whispers**that's what everyone says about their city**. The beds are awful in terms of comfort. Sheets are super clean, and they will change them as often as you ask them too, but the beds are like sleeping on bricks on the pillows cave in like it's no one's business. My back didn't feel normal until I slept in my own bed for a couple nights. Room service doesn't always pick up when you call them. Twice we had to call the front desk to get routed to room service because no one was picking up. Kind of unforgivable at a hotel, but whatever. I would recommend! Just bring a better pillow and AMAZING walking shoes.

Yelp
from someone who has been in customer/hospitality industry for 10+years believe me when i say please save your money and go elsewhere!!! the pictures are deceiving and false!! the rooms smell like, i dont even know what...like old unwashed rug..the keys cards to the room do not work! i had to walk down twice on separate occasions jist to get a new key card for the room!? the bathroom has mold !!!!!!!!!!!! and to top it off we booked a taxi for the next morning at 6:30 am and when it was "booked" the front desk assured us we would have a taxi..come next morning when we asked where the taxi was the front desk replied, "all our drivers are busy" and we had to walk 20 minutes to a bus stop where we were to be picked up for our cliff excursion we paid for!!!!! the hotel is very nasty and the customer service is at an all.time.low. maybe my american standards are high or this is just a budget hotel but please just stay at a holiday inn or something!!!! you're better off!!!!!

Yelp
Located directly opposite Dublin's Croke Park Stadium the Croke Park Hotel is a great hotel on Dublin's Northside. Conveniently located and not too far from the City Center, public transport and within easy reach of the airport. We stayed there in December and felt right at home. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom, which not only offered a bathtub but also a separate shower. The rooms were nicely decorated and felt contemporary. No Wifi but at least a high-speed internet LAN connection in the room. The best part is that the hotel has a parking garage which is free of charge if you're a guest at the hotel. Simply present the ticket to the front desk and have it validated. The car is safe at night and you don't have to worry about finding a spot in the street. Service was great and the staff very friendly and forthcoming. The view from our room (unforunately not looking out at the Croke Park Stadium but towards the back and a train line, wasn't great but the bed extremely comfortable. We would definitely come back to stay there again.

Yelp
On our last night in Dublin, we were aiming for a hotel that was closer to the airport but not out of the city. This was pretty perfect as far as those two criteria were concerned. You're not directly in the city, but it's an easy cab ride or a good walk to town. In the event of a match at the stadium, it doesn't get much better for location. We sprung for the executive floor, which may or may not have been worth the upgrade price. We did not find a huge difference when we went to breakfast, aside from the fact that you have your own dining room. Otherwise, service was impeccable and the room was really nice. Do make a stop at the bar if you're so inclined; the bartenders are friendly and recommended some excellent Irish whiskeys for us to try.

Yelp
The breakfast here is fantastic, and the restaurant staff is very friendly and attentive. The rest of the staff is always helpful and polite as well. I have stayed here probably a dozen times over the last few months and I always enjoy it. The rooms are clean and up-to-date,. My one pet peeve, which applies to a lot of hotels in Europe, is that they only have a big duvet on the bed, no top sheet, no blanket, just a duvet. I'm not sure why hotels are giving up on traditional bedding, but I don't always want a big, thick duvet covering me all the time. Luckily, the in-room air works well here, so I can keep it cold at night!

Yelp
Amazing breakfast! Bacon, eggs, pudding, potatoes, honeycomb, fruit, coffee, everything! I have gluten allergies and there was still plenty for me to eat. Rooms were nice and clean. Spacious showers and a tub, plenty of plugs and lights. It's a good location and a close walk to the city. Also has complimentary parking.

Yelp
A nice hotel in a bad location. It is not safe to walk around outside late at night. People often get mugged. Be sure to take a cab back to the hotel if you are out downtown. Do not walk back at night even if you are with someone. The rooms are nice and clean here, and there is also a nice state-of-the-art gym and the customer service is way above average. The restaurant serves some tasty food, and the breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel is located directly across the street from the stadium, so it's the perfect place to be if you are in town for the game, but if you are not, the area around the hotel can get quite loud. I stay here with my job, so I don't have much choice in the matter, but if I did, I'd much rather stay downtown. I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel other than the location.

Yelp
Having stayed at the Croke Park more than a dozen times for business, I have following review: While the accommodations are ok, this property fails in the air conditioning department, the working-refrigerator department, and in the location-department. AC is poor and the rooms can be warm and stuffy. Many of the in-room refrigerators do not operate. And if you're looking for a true Dublin experience, do not stay here. It's a 20-30 minute walk to the city center, through sketchy areas. The stadium is directly across the street, and since there are no bars or restaurants nearby, all the drunk sports fans frequently fill the lobby, hotel restaurant, hotel bar, hotel terrace, and courtyard. It's positively obnoxious for the paying hotel guests who want nothing more than a safe, clean and quiet place to lay their heads. After the stadium events the hotel's public men's room off the lobby becomes TRASHED! Overflowing toilets, wet trash and vomit covers the floor. Urine, puke, and feces mix with discarded plastic cups, wet paper towels and random dropped coins swim in pools of filth at each and every stadium event. While smokers are required to smoke outside, during these events the doors are propped open allowing the smell produced by hundreds of cigarettes to permeate the indoor public areas as well as the guest rooms above. In the morning, the staff attempts to conceal this aroma with copious amounts of cheap floral spray and overwhelming tri-wick scented candles placed on the front desk. This is not the smoker's fault; it's the hotel's. This being said, the restaurant is good, and the rooms are ok. But this place is in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do nearby, and seems to care more about the alcohol revenue gained from the stadium events than they care about safety, peace, and quiet of their paying guests.

Yelp
We finished our CIE tour here on our last night and were supposed to fly out the next morning. Being young and out of the country for the first time it was an experience. My cousin ended up getting extremely sick the night during our stay and the hotel staff was beyond accommodating and even had a doctor come to the hotel to see him. The beds are comfortable and remind me of home. The bathroom is spacious as well with a separate shower and tub. Love this hotel. Thanks for the hospitality.

Yelp
Great service and very up to date and clean with ice machine on every floor. The staff organized our cab to the airport and even called in our pizza for delivery to our room. They also let us borrow an adapter since the one I brought wasn't compatible. No complaints! Out of the 6 hotels I stayed at during my trip to Ireland this was the best!

Yelp
Amazing! Worth every € spent. I stayed at a London hotel a bit more than this but the Croke offers way more comfort, both tub/shower, King size bed, TV, Free WiFi and accommodations galore. Will definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
A higher end pint before the match in Croke Park. This hotel has great staff....decor is minimal ish....lovely and modern. It's located in a fantastic position for visiting Ireland's sporting home, Croke Park. Oh and I'm a big fan of the well maintained outdoor areas and floral displays.

Yelp
So far we arrived with CIE tours they told us at check-in that we would not have a room until 2 o'clock in the afternoon to our surprise an hour later the desk clerk and gave us room keys .

Yelp
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The concierge was very helpful with planning our 3 day stay in Dublin. The hotel was a great location for walking to everything that we wanted to see in the city. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was huge with a separate shower and bathtub. We did have dinner one night at the hotel bar. BBQ pulled pork was AMAZING. The breakfast buffet was great each morning as well!

Yelp
The rooms were modern clean and comfortable. It is located directly across from Croke Stadium. The service left something to be desired. Traveling with a bus tour we arrived in the evening. They were completely unprepared for our arrival. It took up to an hour for all on our tour to get room keys and then up to 2 hours to have bags delivered.
