We are still glowing from our wedding day at The Crossings. It was truly one of the most beautiful, emotional, and joy-filled days of our lives, and so much of that is because of the incredible team — especially Lauren Lee. From the very first conversation, Lauren made us feel cared for in such a genuine way. She answered every little question with patience and kindness, kept us grounded when we were overwhelmed, and guided us with a warmth that made the entire process feel easy and comforting. On our wedding day, everything flowed so seamlessly that all we had to do was be present and take it all in. The venue was stunning, the food was absolutely incredible, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was. Every member of the staff went above and beyond — you could feel their heart in the work they did. It made the entire experience feel even more special. We are so grateful we chose The Crossings. It became more than just a venue for us — it became a part of our story. We’ve already decided that we’ll be coming back every year for our anniversary for dinner or brunch, just to relive a little piece of the magic and say hello to the place that meant so much to us. If you’re considering The Crossings for your big day, we truly can’t imagine a more loving, thoughtful, and beautiful place to celebrate.

Played course 10 October 2025. This course is so difficult lol. But we had a blast. Tee boxes cut nice, fairways cuts, and the greens roll pretty well. Those are some of the most sloped greens I have ever played. A lot of elevation challenges as well. The he course also has pretty good amenities like practice facilities, frequent cart girls, and water stations. This course was pretty awesome. Make sure you bring extra balls if you're an average golfer lol, you're gonna need them.

The Crossings is a beautiful venue and the inclusive packages made wedding planning pretty easy and stress-free. We had the most incredible wedding day, and we owe so much of that to our fantastic day-of coordinator, Lauren. From the very beginning, she was so sweet and made us feel completely at ease. Throughout the planning process, she was always very responsive to our emails and patiently answered all of our questions. On the day of the wedding, Lauren was an absolute rockstar. She was on top of every single detail, making sure everything ran smoothly and perfectly on time. Because of her, we were able to just relax and be present on our special day without a single worry. We feel incredibly lucky to have had Lauren as our coordinator and can't recommend her enough! She truly helped make our day perfect. Thank you Lauren, Maddy and the entire team at The Crossings for helping make our dream wedding come true!

From the moment we walked into The Crossings, we instantly felt at home. Megan greeted us with the sweetest energy and so much patience, really listening to what we wanted and helping bring every little detail to life. She went above and beyond to make our day feel like us and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. We had a small, intimate wedding of about 60 people, and the Fireside area couldn’t have been more perfect, it was cozy, beautiful, and exactly the vibe we hoped for. The venue itself is absolutely stunning! And don’t get me started on the bridal and grooms suites…The whole team was so kind and easy to work with. We’re forever grateful for Megan and everyone at The Crossings for making our day truly unforgettable. 🤍 August 25th, 2025 will be a day to remember!

The nw salmon cakes were so dry.and the enedict sauce was not enough to coat my over cooked poached eggs. The asperagus was over cooked and stringy. No ice in the water. The potatoes were out of the frozen section in the grocery store and my muffin was hard. We would have been better off at Dennys. The out door area was comfortable n sunny and the waitress was nice.

From the very first interaction to the final moments of our wedding night, this venue and its staff exceeded every expectation imaginable. The team was genuinely kind, attentive, and incredibly accommodating at every step of the process. They truly went out of their way to make our vision come to life, whether that meant patiently answering every question, negotiating terms, or working with us on add-ons to ensure our day was exactly what we dreamed of. The level of care and professionalism they showed made the entire planning experience feel seamless and stress-free. We never once felt like “just another booking” — we felt valued, heard, and supported throughout. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. Every space is stunning and created the most magical atmosphere for our wedding. On top of that, the food was made in-house and was nothing short of phenomenal. Not only was it beautifully presented, but it was genuinely delicious — our guests are still talking about it! If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines beauty, exceptional service, and incredible food, look no further. We are endlessly grateful to this team for helping make our wedding day truly unforgettable. 🤍

All my friends were recommended! Front and back nine holes are different style! Well organized and kind staffs. Practice range, chipping/putting greens were great! Like me, the first time player, play at the white tee! You will enjoy the course!

Yelp
A very challenging, hilly course. Not for beginners. Bring lots of extra balls. I paid $82 for the JC rate. There are two opportunities to get food and drink. There is a cart girl on the front 9, either at 5, 6 or 7. Then you can stop again after the 9th. We were told there would be another cart girl at 14, but perhaps she closed since we had a late tee time. The greens were punched, making the reads impossible. Beautiful scenic views, minus the endless array of powerlines.

Yelp
First golf lesson on Saturday morning. The Driving Range was almost full when we arrived at 9:30am. What a beautiful drive out to the location. Plenty of parking which is always a plus. I still like parking far away. Phil greeted with a smile from his host booth. We started off with a medium bucket of balls. I met some friendly golfers who shared balls with me. When I went back to get more balls the machine didn't like me. We popped into the Pro-Shop to inquire about membership prices. Jeffrey was super helpful in explaining in detail all the options. Can't wait to be back for early morning tee off!

Yelp
I went here for an event, and I had the best time! It was at the golf course after dark and the venue was amazing! All the drinks were great, and the food was really yummy. I personally love the charcuterie. They had these little spicy pickles that were so good!

Yelp
We've eaten at The Crossings at Carlsbad numerous times for both lunch and dinner and have always enjoyed excellent meals and service. This time we were celebrating my wife's birthday and ordered the filet mignon. My wife ordered hers medium and I ordered mine medium rare. They both came out very medium rare. This was disappointing as I waited and my filet chilled as we waited for her filet to be cooked longer. The port demi glaze on the filets was tasty, but would have been better served next to the filet rather than poured over it as it overwhelmed the filet. Our server was a really sweet lady, but she had to be flagged down when we needed something. We'll be back, but next time we'll order from the "middle" of their menu which seems to be their sweet spot.

Yelp
Crossings review We recently got married at The Crossings on 10/25/25 and it was truly the best day ever. Our journey with them started in July 2024, when we had a meeting with Megan. What an amazing human, inside and out. She was so sweet, answered all of our questions, and truly helped us see the vision if we chose to move forward. We walked through the space, were able to see getting ready rooms (which are amazing and very spacious). My husband and I knew at the end of the meeting that this was our venue. This was the perfect blend for us, as ceremony was held outside with an ocean view but we could create a beautiful, fall and rustic feel that I was envisioning, along with an indoor/outdoor space for cocktail hour and inside reception space. Megan was so responsive with emails, answering my thousands of questions, open to my crazy ideas and helped me bounce ideas off her. She was a calming presence for me day of, as she knew I was worried about some family conflicts, but she was there for me just like any of my bridesmaids were. She was such a dream to work with and I could not recommend her enough if you choose this venue. Our guests were so awed with the beauty of the venue, the views, the food, EVERYTHING. Wedding food can get a bad wrap but let me tell you, the food was a huge talking point for our guests and how much they loved it. Pictures of this place are beautiful but they don't do it justice. I cannot say enough great things about Megan, her assistant Maddie, all the staff and the venue. Everyone was so amazing and worked so seamlessly together to create our vision and also cleaned up/turned over the space so quickly and with ease. This team truly knows what they are doing and have it down to a tee. Thank you Crossings for making our wedding day truly a dream come true!

Yelp
Someone on Reddit said this has excellent chilaquiles so I had to try! They were decent though I prefer verde to the Rojas offered. Huge portion and then are beans on the bottom which I think added to making them filling. Unfortunately we had absolutely terrible service. I think it took at least 10 minutes after being sat for anyone to even acknowledge us and provide at least some water. I would be more understanding if they were slammed but I could see how we were one of few tables and I saw our waiter chatting it up at the host stand.

Yelp
It's taken me almost a year to write a review of our very special wedding day because I feel so emotional even thinking about it. From the first hello with the catering director Sandy to our wonderful day of coordinator Megan and her assistant, days leading to the wedding as well as the day of, could not have been any more perfect. We are grateful for such an amazing team. The Crossings At Carlsbad is a beautiful venue overlooking the golf course and of course the ocean view from afar. The reception venue in itself is just so cozy and romantic and gives off all the wonderful vibes. The most important thing any bride worries about is being able to execute their dream wedding and we did this in about 5 months. I had 100% full support from Megan throughout the whole process. She communicated with me and responded to all my questions and concerns immediately. Until this day people talk about the views, the food and how great of a time they had. Due to time constraint of planning a wedding in 5 months we decided to have an intimate 100 person wedding. The venue is perfect for this! Loved how it was easy for guest to go from the wedding to cocktail hour and then to the reception. Parking is easy and plentiful. The thing that was most stressful to me was having to do the bustle. Ms. Sandy was able to do it in less than 5 minutes! Amazing! Thank you to all the staff at the Crossings At Carlsbad for giving us a day to remember forever!

Yelp
The food and ambiance were on point. My family had the fillet smash burger. Truffle fries were worth the extra $ and the salmon was the best. Even the next day.

Yelp
Last night I went to the Crossings for the first time & had so much fun! I've lived in Vista for 20 years but hadn't heard of it. I don't play golf (yet). What a beautiful upscale outdoor patio with views. Anyway, we had dinner there. My filet mignon was top-notch (but I found the garlic mashed potatoes a lil salty for my taste). Great service with Miranda (hope I got her name right) and also a young man who brought our entrees, extra water & extra plates. There was a live band that was so great, mostly playing dance and rock music from the 80s, 90s and some current hits. We had so much fun dancing. The outdoor dance floor is big. We plan to be back for more good dance music, good food, good Zinfandel.

Yelp
I cannot believe I never visited this restaurant before! we came on a Saturday morning for brunch, and had previously made reservations. Keep in mind that this is a golf course restaurant, and although they do have a large parking lot, it can get filled quickly so plan accordingly. This is a gorgeous spot, and upon entering through the doors, we were greeted and seated very quickly by the smiling hostess! she was lovely and genuinely looked happy to be there. She sat us at a table with a great view of the course and took the time to see if that would be the best viewing spot available. It wasn't busy at all! which was both great and sad at the same time. We loved having the place to ourselves, but this is a gem that should be shared with everyone. I did notice a lot of golf groups finishing their round and coming by for some quick eats and drinks. It got a little rowdy behind us, but I mean... its a golf course and they were laughing at each other's swings of the day! you couldn't get too upset at that (it was pretty funny). I uploaded photos of the food we got, and it was ALL delicious! quick, friendly service and unlimited mimosas for an extra fee ($22). Usually, whenever we go to bottomless mimosa location, it takes forever and a DAY to get a server to pour you another glass. Here? these ladies are so on top of it! before I can even put the words together, our lovely server was at our table asking if we'd like to re-up. Absolutely wonderful experience, and I will for sure be coming back again.

Yelp
This is a golf review. I can't speak to the venue but I do know there was a wild neon themed part last night with what looked to be some nice chicken tendies, some sliders, and some Def Leppard blasting. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. From the golf side. A 2:50 tee time in early June should mean a comfortable finish before the sunset. We rolled back to the pro shop at 8:00 which put us a about a hole or two back from the expected 4:45 twilight play time. There's two par 5s in the back where it seems like everything grinded to a halt in terms of waiting on a tee box. Haven't figured out the logistics and timing of how that happens but it is what it is. Overall though. Really beautiful course that tries to honor the existing valley space the course kind of carves itself in to. Service was great and Marshalls and staff were all super friendly folks. The fringe around and rough around the green got a little hairy at times but I guess that's my fault because I seemed to always find myself in it Great course and as a first time playing it it really was fun as every hole seemed to have its own character to it.
google avatar

Tim O.

Yelp
One of my favorite JC golf courses. Great views, greens are pure. Super tough course with canyons and undulated greens. Great prices for twilight. Great driving range with chipping area as well. Thursdays 4-6 pm you can get a large bucket (100 balls) and 2 beers for 24$ You may want to go to family fun center to practice putting cause that's what their greens are like. My only complaint, and it's not just the crossings it's most JC courses is getting a tee time. Good luck!
google avatar

Davide M.

Yelp
Beautiful course (wildly priced compared to a lot in the area in my opinion), great short game practice but a subpar driving range detracts from the experience. For a pretty paltry medium sized bucket, I'd would at least expect most, if not every ball, to be hittable. Each time I've been back, probably 3-4 times in the last couple of months, I expected to see the bald or cut balls weeded out of the ball machines, no such luck. I have zero issues with paying a higher price for a better experience but it's tough to spend $14 on a bucket of balls of which a chunk are just useless, dimple-less, rocks! The short game area is top notch, however and considering it's available to the public - a huge plus. Great chipping area, bunker practice, and large putting practice green to boot. The food and drink are solid in the clubhouse as well. Clean up the range, and let folks hit from the grass once in a while, and it could be top notch.

Yelp
Service! View! Quietness! Decent food! The proximity to the outlet is a plus too! Can come before or after visiting the outlet.

Yelp
I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Crossings and their incredible team! After touring many venues, the moment we stepped into The Crossings, we fell in love. We got that when you know you know feeling immediately during our tour, and we are so happy we picked The Crossings! Our 5/5/24 wedding was a dream come true, and everything unfolded just as we had imagined, with little to no hiccups. The pricing is fantastic, and their inclusive packages make planning so easy. We got the Elite package and our families loved the venue just as much as we did and everyone keeps reminiscing on how amazing the staff, food, and dessert was! Filet Mignon is a MUST!! And the Jidori Chicken just WOW!! Our families keep telling us they wish they could go back for more! Our cake was included in the package and provided by VG's bakery in Encinitas and it was absolutely amazing! A special shoutout to Lauren for her support and dedication to making everything run smoothly--when I did encounter a hiccup with my dress bustle before my entrance, she was an absolute angel! Quickly she ran over to us to assist my mom with my bustle, ensuring everything was perfect just in time for our cue to enter. She is by far the sweetest most thoughtful person! Her vendor recommendations are top-tier as well. As a couple who planned everything without an event planner, the entire planning process was a breeze, and The Crossings is the reason why! I truly appreciate all the hard work that went into making our day so memorable. Lauren was exceptionally helpful and patient, she answered all my questions and when we decided to make last minute changes here and there she was absolutely wonderful and made it happen! Thank you so much to everyone at The Crossings for making our wedding experience unforgettable! I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a flawless and stress-free celebration! With Love, The Kims

Yelp
Review of (Sunday) brunch only. Never been here, but that's my loss. This place is charming. They have a golf course and space for weddings and other events. They also have a pro shop, a small pub/bar (obviously for the 19th holers), and a large restaurant space, both inside and out. They have a couple of terrific patios. They also have beautiful ocean views from pretty much everywhere. Honestly, I was expecting average heavily-fried golf course food but my low expectations were blown away. The short rib hash was terrific. We're talking melt in your mouth, very flavorful beef, although it was a little fatty. It's got cubed potatoes mixed in with it and eggs on top and a heavy, delicious gravy. This is a luscious, winning dish. The Denver Omelet was huge. I can't imagine how many eggs were used. It comes with enough of those cubed potatoes to feed an army. The chicken and waffles is interesting. The waffles were delicious. The pieces of chicken appeared to be, and tasted like, chicken tenders. That's not necessarily a bad thing if you happen to love chicken tenders, like I do. It comes with incredibly delicious maple butter and syrup. My Bloody Mary was excellent. You get to pick your spice level on a scale of 1 to 10. Service was extremely friendly although, like many restaurants, they appeared to be understaffed at times. I really had no idea about this place but it's open to the public and I would happily return. The food and location are very good. And they have live music during Sunday brunch.

Yelp
A course that is a must for any golfer. From the attentive and pleasant staff to the course itself, the entire experience was world class and very rewarding. The course brings many challenging visual aspects to the eye of the golfer. There are plenty of arroyo carries, elevation changes, and undulated greens to keep you on your toes. The Crossings is a solid test of your game.

Yelp
From the very beginning, The Crossings at Carlsbad exceeded every expectation we had when it came to planning our wedding. From the first tour to the final send-off on our wedding night, the entire team was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Their hospitality made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire planning process. A huge part of what made our experience so special was our phenomenal coordinator, Megan Weber. Megan is truly a gem--organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and just an absolute joy to work with. She guided us every step of the way, answering every email and question (and there were many!) with patience and care. Megan has a gift for turning your vision into a reality, and we always felt like we were in the most capable hands. She kept us on track, made helpful suggestions, and ensured the day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The rest of the staff was just as incredible. Maddy, along with the entire event team, brought such positive energy and professionalism on the day of our wedding. Everyone worked together so effortlessly behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly--and it truly did. The service was impeccable, and every guest we spoke to had only wonderful things to say about how beautiful and well-organized everything was. And the venue itself? Absolutely STUNNING. The views are breathtaking, the ceremony and reception spaces are elegant yet inviting, and the natural beauty of the grounds adds so much magic to the day. We could not imagine getting married anywhere else--it felt like something out of a dream. Our wedding day was truly perfect, and we owe so much of that to Megan and the entire team at The Crossings. If you're searching for a venue that is not only beautiful but filled with people who genuinely care about making your day everything you've hoped for and more, look no further. We are endlessly grateful.

Yelp
THE CROSSINGS AT CARLSBAD is really a spot for golfing and weddings, but the restaurant food (opposed to the wedding catering) which is mostly an afterthought is actually pretty good. the wife had the TUSCAN CHICKEN SANDWICH (roasted chicken, pickled onions, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and pesto) on a grilled ciabatta roll. there's so much sugar in sweet potatoes, sweet potato fries always brown before they crisp and are never as good as I think they should be. theirs are pretty good but it's hard to get around the science. MUSHROOM SWISS BURGER (caramelized onions, mushrooms, and melted Swiss) had surprisingly good, beefy flavor. top of the bun was "flakey" in an unpleasant way and did not stand up to the burger well. ate most of my burger with a fork. asked the server for an onion ring upgrade but was informed they're only served as an appetizer. WTF. didn't realize onions were an endangered species. anyway, the fries were PDG (pretty darn good).

Yelp
The experience was so terrific at the Crossing's restaurant! Brandon our waiter was so welcoming, kind, and friendly!! 5 stars for the crossings you should definitely come here for amazing service and great food!!

Yelp
This place was amazing from the point in which I pulled in the parking lot, and the gentleman took our bags and brought them down to where the carts were. Not an easy course by any means, but challenging and fun to play. Hats off to whoever's running that kitchen because after playing 18 holes, my appetite was satisfied by some delicious food and a great view. I drove over an hour to get here and I will do it again.

John M.

Yelp
The course was in great shape have recommended this place for many years. Try to visit and play when in the area.

Yelp
Great spot and a nice weekend brunch. Dylan H. was our server and was exceptional. The breakfast plates were quite good with honorable mention of the chilaquiles, short rib hash, florentine omelet, pancakes, and of course the bloody Mary's and mimosas. So good. Highly recommended

Yelp
Sit outside and enjoy a drink and an ap! Mountain View's to one direction, golf course view and the ocean peaking out the other way. Beautiful place. We did not get a full entree, but loved the time we had there and will go back for a full meal sometime.

Yelp
If I could give 100 stars I would! The Crossings is the most beautiful venue with an ocean view for the ceremony and a beautiful space for the reception. In addition to it being a beautiful venue, they were SO EASY to work with. The experience working with the staff at the Crossings was completely stress-free, which is just what you need on your big day. Lauren was our coordinator and I can't say enough good things about her! She was so friendly, helpful, and kind from the start. Throughout the year process of working with her, she made everything so easy for us because she was so organized and on top of everything. She asked us what we wanted and helped us with decision making using her amazing expertise when we weren't sure about some things. She kept all of our decisions in order and we didn't have to worry about a thing. On the day of, she was our coordinator and made sure everything was set up perfectly and the day ran so smoothly. We had the best day ever, in huge part to Lauren and her team that ran the show!!

Yelp
Some of the hostesses are so rude. Could do better! They don't welcome anyone who comes through the door and I've seen them on their phones a lot. no hostess should have the ability to sit down. Not professional.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and service .... Food was delicious. I ordered a wedge salad. It was pretty good considering it was made with butter lettuce as opposed to a wedge of lettuce that normally wedge salads are served with. Butter lettuce is definitely not crunchy. That being said, I feel like even though it tasted pretty good, the name of the salad was misleading.

Yelp
Got up at 6 am today to play my birthday round only to be rudely told they had discontinued it on August 1st. The pro shop person said I should have been warned about it but I never was. Even when I booked using the phone reservation service, I mentioned I was booking my birthday round, and he booked my reservation without giving me a warning. This was a total failure on their part and to just dismiss me so rudely was a complete disappointment and a missed opportunity for customer retention. JC Golf must be doing so well they no longer care to keep my business. This is from a customer who bought 3 booklets this year.

Gilda F.

Yelp
The restaurant manager said we can't seat you, as we have a large party coming. They said they didn't have enough chefs. We were just going to order apps and drinks. I am writing this, only because this is the second time this has happened. Note: there was plenty of outside seating, and music playing. Poor business planning.

Yelp
San Diego Taco Series, Part 9 Well I can't say that I'd planned the next stop in this series to occur at a golf course clubhouse, and yet that's exactly where this one went down. Sometimes it's just too much to ask a person to ignore the words "New!" and "taco" when you find them staring at you from the menu. Hey, I tried. Not very hard, mind you, but I tried. Although the Chipotle Aioli is also offered on the Crispy Fish Tacos, it just seemed to me that the Southwestern Chicken Tacos would make a better partner. The warm, soft tortillas sure paired well with the chicken and that aioli. While I think your best move would be to visit for the tacos themselves, the Borracho Beans sure held their own and need to be included in this conversation. I'm not sure why this was the case, but we needed to request a side of salsa for our chips. Yeah, that's worth the extra effort. A good salsa elevates the level of good chips and this was a good salsa. We never even considered hitting a few golf balls during our visit and that didn't matter a bit. Both the indoor and outdoor seating opportunities are plentiful and the setting is fairly serene. Having a stressed morning and need a calming lunch location in North County? We got you. And that's...Henry's Take. #sandiegotacos

Yelp
I have worked here multiple times, providing wedding photography and videography, and last weekend I handled sound and lighting. Every time has been a great experience. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful! The stunning views create an elegant atmosphere, perfect for an awesome party with excellent service. I highly recommend this venue for weddings and other private events!

Yelp
One of my favorite places to golf! This course is always pristine. The rolling hills make for a fun experience and view! I've gone here a couple of times. Just recently, my husband and I enjoyed a round here on our wedding day / his birthday. It was amazing. If you're looking for an unforgettable day on the greens, visit The Crossings. The staff treat you just right, and it's also my favorite course in North County San Diego.

Yelp
The course was in pretty good shape but I think because of all the slopes it does not get as green in spite of the rains. I figured for spring with a good amount of rain and not much sun it would be even greener. Regardless, nice thick healthy rough (sadly) and the course looks solid overall. There is nothing boring about this layout and there are always plenty of challenges. We did the twilight special because prices are high lately. Nice GPS on the dark blue colored carts. My iron play was on point today which made for a decent number of pars. We got in 14 holes which was pretty good. We probably could have snuck in 15 but opted to head back and check in at our hotel instead. We were paired with a father and young son which made for a chill fun afternoon on the links.

Yelp
Wedding review! Couldn't have been more perfect! We loved everything about our wedding and the team at The Crossings did a phenomenal job from the setup, to drinks, to dinner, to cleanup/end. We loved the outdoor space, cocktail hour at sunset on the terrace, then indoor reception. The food was incredible, our guests went out of their way to complement the filet mignon and sea bass. Feels silly but they also had plenty of (clean) restrooms so guests weren't waiting in line throughout the night. Parking lot was so easy and close to the entrance for older guests. Entire venue is so spacious for a larger guest count without feeling cramped at all. Special shoutout to Lauren who was one of the reasons we especially loved The Crossings for our wedding. When we first met Lauren at the venue tour, we were refreshed to meet someone so bubbly, friendly, and easy to talk to. We were thrilled when we found out she would be our Day Of Coordinator because we knew we'd be in good hands for a day that meant so much to us. Lauren was so professional, organized, made the entire process so seamless, low stress, and truly answered any and all of our silly questions without ever making us feel like a burden. We're so grateful to her and the rest of The Crossings team for helping to bring our wedding dreams to life!!

Yelp
View from Canyons Restaurant. First time playing here and course was in good condition. Greens a bit slow, challenging course but not difficult. The highlight of this establishment has to be the patio bar and live music after the round. Probably one of the top patio bars I've visited at a golf course. Big fan!

Yelp
Golf course review** Had a very unfortunate experience at this course last week. Will not be back based on the customer service and the on course interactions with the Marshal and Golf Pro. If you're looking for a nice relaxing day of golf and not people hounding you about pace of play, go elsewhere. The group behind us was never waiting on us all day, and we were instructed to skip a hole to catch the group in front.

Yelp
WEDDING REVIEW: We recently had our wedding at the Crossings, and it truly exceeded all expectations. I couldn't be more impressed with the staff, vendor options, food, etc. First and foremost, the staff at the venue was exceptional. Our Coordinator, Lauren, was professional, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request, no matter how small. The team worked efficiently behind the scenes, so my husband and I never had to worry about a thing. Their positive attitude and attention to detail truly set the tone for a flawless celebration. The vendor options were also outstanding. The venue offered a carefully curated list of trusted professionals, ranging from DJs to florists, all of whom brought their A-game. This made coordinating the event much easier and ensured that all the vendors were familiar with the space and its unique requirements, which helped things run smoothly. So many of our relatives and friends have let us know that our wedding was one of the best they've been to, and we couldn't have done it without the Crossings help! Don't hesitate to book your next tour here!!!

Yelp
The Crossings and their team couldn't have made one of the most important days in our life more perfect. I can't thank Lauren enough for going above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She was so extremely helpful, understanding and quickly esponsided to millions of questions. I am so grateful to have had her to relieve any anxiety and stress I had. The bridal and groom suites were spacious, plenty of parking, hotels across the street and any special requests we had were accommodated. It was such a magical day thanks to her, Maddie, and the entire team at the Crossings. The venue is gorgeous, the food is amazing, everything was planned accordingly and it everything turned out better than we could've imagined.

Yelp
Course is beautiful and a challenge. Usually a 4 or 5 star for me. Not here. I'm not a big fan of courses where you have to drop the bags and then wait for someone to bring it down to some TBD location. After we paid in the pro shop, we went to find our bags along with our $22 bucket of practice balls. $22? Upon finding our bags, we went to the range. That was fine. As we were waiting to tee off the starter told us we would likely go off early since the foursome in front of us was not checked in. We were ready. At the last minute the foursome showed up and then took time to load up their carts. They were late and I wish the starter had just let us tee off since there was no one in front of us. Instead, the foursome started late, got lost going to the first tee box and proceeded to lead us in a 5:20 hour round. We waited almost every shot. Twice we told the marshall and he said he would inform them to pick up the pace. Each time he did not even move his cart to go speak to anyone. We would see him sitting in same spot from later tee boxes. The traps were awful. For the money, you'd think the Crossings could put a couple bucks into the bunkers. I finally came up with a good description: the bunkers were cement covered by a thin layer corn meal. May have scratched my wedge trying to get out of the bunker! The layout of the tee boxes and greens in relation to the cart path was bizarre. Hard to figure out where to park and then it was a hike to the tee box or the green. Some holes had what seemed like a 5 minute drive between green and the next tee box. Amazing. Upon finishing you cannot drive to your cart to the car, so again you drop your bag, wait for someone to bring the bags up to the top. Dropping the cart is not really close to the parking lot. So another hike to find your bag and off to your car. Interesting place. Beautiful course. Tough greens. Not my favorite. Won't play it again.

Yelp
Had lunch and was blown away by the fantastic selection of lunch items. If you're into beautiful setting and wonderful experience, make sure you put this as at the top of your next dining experience.

Yelp
My husband and I recently got married at the Crossings at Carlsbad and had the absolute pleasure of working with Lauren. We can't sing her praises enough. From the moment we walked in, her warmth and accommodating nature made us feel like old friends. Lauren's attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our wedding was flawless. She seamlessly collaborated with our wedding planner and we were able to enjoy every single moment of our wedding. The venue is stunning and everything flows effortlessly. The bridal suite is beautiful and convenient, there was plenty of space for 7 of us to do our glam. We ordered both breakfast and lunch to the suite which allowed us to relax and enjoy the day without coordinating transportation or food orders. And let's not forget about the dinner - the filet mignon was such a hit, even the dinner rolls had guests raving! Thank you, Lauren and the entire Crossings Team, for your dedication and for making our special day absolutely perfect. We are so lucky to be able to come back for golf and brunch to relive the memories.

Yelp
The Crossings team was top notch. From an open communication and coordination with our fantastic wedding coordinator, Lauren, to the elegant castle-like look of the venue, to the tasty food selections and great service, we had it all! Having our big day event at this venue made a world of a difference, and we soaked in every moment of it! Lauren made everything so smooth and easy, keeping me on track every step of the day. The bridal suite was so spacious and comfy! We absolutely enjoyed everything! A big plus for my family was the kids' food. We had about 20 kids attending, and they had a blast! Such a wonderful day that will leave an indelible mark on us for days to come. Thank you, Lauren and your team, for going above and beyond to make our day so unforgettable!

Yelp
08.14.24 I was invited to join a friend for his birthday round at The Crossings At Carlsbad Golf Course. As a longtime San Diego County resident, this was my first time playing this golf course and I have to say, I can't wait to come back. Upon entering the property I knew I was at a JC Resort Property. I loved how the greeter/ bag attendant took my golf bag down to the starter and directed me to the Proshop to check in. The overall cleanliness and professional staff made my visit first class. The golf course was open and spacious with many undulated fairways and greens. Maybe it was just me but I found the final four holes somewhat challenging... Par 5, Par 5, Par 3, Par 4, why do they do that The bonus were the views of the Pacific Ocean on this clear day summer day (temperature in the mid/ low 80's). If you haven't played The Crossing... plan a day trip and get a round in, you won't be disappointed. I wasn't oh! for my round, I shot a 45 on the front 9 and 38 on the back That's okay! ...for someone that works at a golf course and driving range

Yelp
I had an amazing experience having my wedding at the Crossings! Our coordinator, Lauren, made the whole process stress-free with her positive attitude and attention to detail. She kept everything organized and made us feel at ease every step of the way. We feel so grateful for all the amazing staff at the Crossings and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding!

Yelp
Choosing The Crossings as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made for our special day! Not only are the grounds stunning with perfect spots for both the ceremony and reception, but working with our wedding coordinator Megan was an absolute dream. From the very beginning, Megan was super easy to work with. She brought an incredible, comforting energy that made the whole wedding planning process enjoyable. Her attention to detail was nothing short of amazing. Megan made sure that every part of the venue was set up perfectly and that each segment of the day transitioned smoothly into the next. Thanks to her, we didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day except enjoying ourselves. Megan truly went above and beyond to make our day special. Her professional yet warm demeanor made us feel like we were in safe hands from start to finish. Thanks to Megan and The Crossings, our wedding was not only beautiful but also unforgettable. I highly recommend The Crossings to any couple looking for a picturesque venue coupled with top-notch coordination. Megan, thank you for everything! You helped create our perfect day, and we are eternally grateful. Leila & Zach

Yelp
Overall we loved our wedding at the crossings and we 1000% recommend it!! Everything was amazing!! Stand outs were definitely our coordinator Megan, the amazing food, the beautiful ceremony site, the outdoor space for those who wanted some air, and location to the hotels. We also loved having the bridal and groom suite on site!!!

Yelp
We just got married here last weekend and I can't rave enough about the service, food and overall experience with the whole evening and lead up. From day one everyone was responsive and supportive all the way through clean up. The venue is its own thing and stunning - we didn't have to do a lot of decorations. The bridal and groom suites were epic and nice for us to all be onsite without having to move locations. The food was incredibly good and many guests said it was top notch (not just wedding food). this was everything I wanted and will forever be a core memory) Lauren and the whole crew are amazjng!!

Yelp
What's good about golfing here-- parking is easy, staff is nice, and the holes present a nice balance between challenging and rewarding. Front half really eases you in with wider fairways just letting you tee off nicely. Back nine you'll have a couple really nice drives like hole 11, but some of them get tight! The greens were pretty nice the last time I went. A little slow but not bad. How ever I was left questioning myself on the condition of their fairways in many spots. Lots and lots of dry patches and weird mud patches that looked like the recycled water had started to grow some experiments. I'm talking about spots very close to the greens, not something off to the left or right of the main fair way (though many of those spots could use some care as well). For the green fees here, I expect to see nicer fairways. Also it's not the place itself, but it does seem to attract a lot of rude players. Our cart never told use we were behind pace, yet we were getting teed off on when we were on the middle of the fairway or just on the green. This has happened the last couple times I've played here and I find that extremely rude, and not to mention dangerous considering some of the holes are only 300 yards or the par 3s at 150yds. Seeing a ball land 20 yds behind you or literally next to you on the green is not cool. Didn't see a single marshal the entire time so probably the reason why people think they can tee off onto others.
