I highly recommend Arthur with the Cruise Web to assist with all your travel needs. He recommended a wonderful European river cruise, took care of our airline arrangements, helped find hotel accommodations prior to the cruise, and tied up all the loose ends that never crossed my mind. Arthur was very easy to get ahold of, even when we ran into a snag because of a cancelled flight. He will always be my first call when booking future travel plans!

The Cruise Web Team, Maria McDaniel, and her office staff were excellent in providing top to bottom details essential for our cruise. Me, my wife and our friends had a great time on the Cruise, the Norwegian Cruise Encore and on those shore excursions only because Maria and her team helped us. Maria would call with details wanting to make sure we were ready for this first time experience, doing her best to ensure it would go extremely well. From reservations to flight tickets to small essentials to pack for the trip, Maria was on the other end of the phone always. I did not have to look anywhere else for help. Maria was ready and would stay even after her office hours just to make sure that we were happy. I would certainly recommend her for any cruise questions to reservations. Maria is THE go to person.

Max Pike-Ludwig was our Cruise Consultant, he was fabulous. Booked our Viking Antarctic Expedition cruise (02/2023). We can not say enough good things about Max, he's experienced, professional and we highly recommend him for all your travel needs. Our Antarctic Expedition cruise on Viking Polaris was simply incredible. The ship was new, and SO CLEAN!!! With state of the art technologies and reliable WiFi, the food, whether it be in the World Cafe or the "restaurants" or room service, was always delicious and the service was flawless. The management was so friendly, available 24/7 no matter what you needed and ready to help with a smile. The "Hanger" crew were experienced and always conscious of the guests' safety while ensuring they had the most amazing experiences. Viking also provided proper gear for each excursion, parkas, pants, boots, drysuit, and personal floatation devices, the parkas were given to the guests at the end of the cruse. The "toys" were top quality, Zodiacs, Kayaks, a special operations boat "SOB" and the impressive submarine made the excursions and landings unforgettable. The weather cooperated from start to finish, we had blue skies and calm seas for nearly the whole trip. Temperature hovered around 30 degrees. Captain Olivier Marien and his crew made sure they took advantage of the rare good weather every opportunity to navigate the ship into places that were only accessible when the weather permitted as to provide the best experiences possible for the guest aboard. He delivered! The daily briefings were so informative, they offered an insight into the next days' activities and always stressed being flexible with the itineraries. The onboard lectures and seminars were ongoing throughout the day there was always something to do and learn. The best part was the landings, excursions, and wildlife did not disappoint, no words can describe the beautiful white continent. We observed raw, untamed nature where the resident animals must survive in one of the harshest environments on the face of the earth. We never grew tired of seeing penguins, chicks, seals and whales. In summary, I highly recommend Max Pike-Ludwig for your travel needs and Viking Cruises.

Please not honest. Had us send over the commission of a cruise that another company booked and when we had to cancel due to serious issues, would not give full refund. 6 months in advance.

We booked a 9 nights European Cruise with Dina. All of our communication and reservations were done quickly, professionally and were spot on! We booked adjoining balcony suites with my sisters and our mom. It was the best cruise ever and Dina helped arrange everything from airfare, cruise, transportation etc which was great for me since I never have been to Europe before. I would highly recommend working with Dina on your next vacation booking.

Michelle Henderson is the GREATEST!!! We already found the cruise and room we wanted, and had it on hold. I called her just incase she could improve our options and SHE DID!!! She got us 300$$ in extra credits we would never have gotten if we booked by ourselves. LET HER HELP YOU! I'm so glad I did! Well I now have a Cruise person - but I will call him my cruise guy - Arthur is amazing. We have used him for two cruises and his attention to every detail is all that anyone can ask for. You may think you are getting a better deal from anywhere including "costco" but I don't think you would! Arthur knows about every cruise line and every boat, he made sure we got a great room on the best part of the ship AND he gets every discount or ship amenity that you would need while on the ship. He listened to all of our needs and requests and worked with us to find the right cruise line and boat that would fill our needs best. We don't have a massive budget yet for our vacations, so we are for sure mid-price type people and Arthur helped us a great deal. if you are going on a Cruise - Arthur is the guy you want -- and Nope I have never met him in person, and we are not related for this glowing review!! Gloria Hanson happened to pick up the phone when I called for information on a trip. She was wonderfully friendly and relatable. We chatted for some time about what I was interested in. She did not try to talk me into something that I was not interested in - which I appreciated. She did talk with great knowledge, about what choices were available, perks of different cruise lines and which were geared more toward young people and kids. She is a positive, energetic and knowledgeable agent who listens to what is being said and asks pertinent questions to make sure the trip you "think" you want is the trip you are getting. I would give The Cruise Web 0/5 stars if I could. This was such a waste of time and money. We first reached out to a travel agent about a European cruise and I was contacted over the phone by travel agent Ellie. She gave us quotes over the phone for the trip and airfare and then sent a text with a few of the pricing details. After we agreed to the costs and paid a deposit through Ellie, we received an email invoice with the additional payments that would be due. I responded that the invoice was much higher than the prices I had been told over the phone and they responded that Ellie was " no longer with the company" and she only gave us a quote for a one way ticket from the US to Italy (obviously we discussed round trip flights and would expect to be flying home to the US) and she also "misquoted" us on the total price of the cruise. We decided to cancel because there was so much miscommunication, however we didn't receive any of the $1000 deposit back, despite having travel insurance and being promised we would receive a refund and travel credit. Please do not bother with The Cruise Web and book your cruise through someone else.

I love working with Hans! He takes such personal attention to the individual's needs. He always follows up 100% of the time, by call, email or text. If the matter is urgent, such a payment due, he will text to make sure you know the importance. He has helped us with three different cruises, and his background is very thorough. He's definitely earned my trust, and I will continue to book through Hans and recommend him to others.

I've worked with Lisa Hugo at The Cruise Web a number of times over the past 5 years. She provides excellent service and promptly returns calls. She goes above and beyond with helping make your cruise easier. We were going to use Viking to go to Cuba four years ago and she suggested Azamarra and we were happy she did as we saw way more of Cuba. We are now booked in September with Azamarra for a cruise from Bordeaux to Barcelona. Lisa even helped us get hotel rooms for our extended stay in Barcelona. We've had many phone calls over the years and she is always pleasant and informative.

We cruised the Rhine with Viking from Basel to Amsterdam in mid September, 2022. This was the fulfillment of a plan we made in 2019 before the pandemic forced two postponements. We worked with Arthur Balin at The Cruise Web (www.cruiseweb.com) from the outset and are so glad we did. Arthur guided our rescheduling and was fantastic with follow-up and prompt answers to our questions. The planning and execution of the cruise from the Viking side also was superb. Airline arrangements were clearly communicated and aligned with our wishes. We made one schedule change online and received prompt confirmation. Everything connected with the cruise itself was first class. The longship Gymir was very well appointed, well staffed, comfortable and elegant. Our stateroom was modest in size, but it had a king size bed and accommodated our needs very well. The meals onboard offered good variety and were well prepared, well presented and very tasty. We went with the standard drink plan, with house wine and beer included with meals. This proved very satisfactory. We ordered an occasional cocktail and felt the quality and pricing were in line with expectations. We went on two shore excursion at every port, one free and one paid. All were informative, interesting and professionally guided. A few of the guides were truly outstanding, all were very good. Not a bad one in the lot. Overall, this was our first river cruise. We enjoyed it and would look forward to another cruise on a new itinerary that adds new experiences to our travels.

First time booking a cruise with this company -- very happy with the package and the price -- definitely beats by far what we could've gotten had we booked this on our own. And when we ran into a slight conflict about a dining charge, Lynda Lynn intervened and got it resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction. Our cabin and all of the upgrades were great!

Since then we have booked other cruises and referred several people to Arthur, and they have become repeat customers too. I have been using The Cruise Web for a few years now for my bookings. Previously I had gone direct to the cruise companies assuming I could take care of everything efficiently myself. For the last couple years I have used Senior Cruise Consultant Arthur Balin from the agency. I love him. He is really on top of things and has been a tremendous help to us and now also to friends to whom we recommended. In the process I also discovered how wrong I had been assuming I could do it all myself. He has access to things I would never see or know about. I typically call Arthur and give him a general idea of what I am thinking of. He takes it from there and in a timely manner sends me great suggestions with pros and cons of each choice. We have run the gamut from cruises more than a year in advance and as close as 10 days from sail date. No matter the lead time Arthur has come through with his ideas and suggestions -- all top notch. As we book more and more cruises with him he understands our likes and dislikes better and better. That has only helped him help us even more as he knows what will make us happy and what is the most important things to us. I think we are all unique in what we look for in our vacations and Arthur takes the time to LISTEN to his clients. Of course he has his ideas which is important, but he truly knows what he is selling and what is a good match. We have never been disappointed and doubt we will ever. Emailed questions and phone calls are answered timely no matter how mundane I'm sure some of the questions were. When we leave for our cruises we are prepared and know what to expect. When we return he calls within a couple days to get a full recap, -- good, bad, whatever. He wants to know how to take care of us even better and wants the feedback. I've had other Agents that booked a cruise, but that is all they really did, nothing more. I knew there must be more professional agents out there and Arthur Balin is that agent. I talked the owner of the company I work for into taking a cruise with her family and of course suggested she call Arthur. As expected he took great care of them and found things available that were not open to the public. He made me look good. He was also so appreciative that I had suggested him. How nice is it to have your business really appreciated and not taken for granted! In todays world, it is so hard to find professional people to work with no matter the product. I am thrilled that I found Arthur a few years ago and now know that I will get maximum value for my vacation money every time. I am semi retired and at this stage of my life it is even more important to take that vacation that you never had time for while deep into your work life. We have taken main stream cruises and this last one was one of the top of the market Regent Seven Seas cruise which for us was a very big stretch. Had it not been absolutely amazing it would have been a huge disappointment because of the added cost to move up to the pricier line. But instead we had the same belief that we got more than our money's worth thanks in large part to many emails and conversations with Arthur ahead of time deciding which line to choose. His knowledge of the market and of us made it work, I could not have done this alone and would not have felt comfortable spending the money with another agent who had not taken the time to really find out about us and what we liked and wanted. Arthur Balin is a pro and will be my cruise agent every time. I will not use anyone else. I have the best. You should seek him out if you want that same feeling of confidence that you have someone in your corner when you spend your hard earned money on your vacation cruises. Even during the pandemic with all the trip cancellations, special circumstances, testing, special requirements, etc... Arthur Balin arranged our semi-custom vacation to the United Kingdom perfectly! It couldn't have been better!

They charge 15 percent if you have to cancel for ANY reason even with Doctor letter. So the keep your money. Very unfair practice!

Since the coronavirus, all cruise ships in April are canceled and refunded except my mom only received a partial refund!!! Instead of getting the 700 dollars she paid, she was only received a refund of 500! I tried getting ahold of someone, but no one is answering their phone! I understand this is a difficult time, but I was told by Colleen that if a cruise company canceled the trip, we would be refunded 100%. That was a bogus lie. Do not book a cruise with them. Go directly to the source otherwise, you will be scammed out of your hard-earned money.

This is my third trip with the Cruise Web and my third trip specifically with Arthur Balin at the Cruise Web. He never disappoints and is always there to answer questions! Thank you for another unforgettable experience. Until next time!

Don't remember when or how we found Gloria Hanson of The Cruise Web but are extremely happy that we did. Have never used a "travel agent" or agency before. Was leery at first. Gloria made the entire process seamless. She is very knowledgeable, professional and proficient. She listened to what we wanted, made pertinent suggestions, answered our questions and then handled everything. She made sure we got the perks that were offered and advised us against pursuing some of the options. Our trip was immeasurably enhanced because of her help.

Please...Please read your contract carefully with the cruise web before you sign it. I don't care How long the contract is. We signed up for a group cruise and one person in our group paid for all deposits on her credit card and she signed the contract. Well....the fine print said if you cancel your cruise you will need to pay 15% of your cruise. Our total For 3 people was $3797.00. So 15% of almost $4,000 is a FEE $400.00. I've traveled a lot and never had to pay $400.00 canceling fee. I would suggest you book directly with the crusie line. Half of our group with with another travel agent because it was cheaper and the canceled and they were not charged ANY FEE.

We've used The Cruise Web for a several River and ocean cruises. The details have always been handled and everything has gone smoothly. When the pandemic hit, we were assisted in canceling our plans. We finally rescheduled and head out next week for our foist real travel in a couple of years. Gloria Hanson has helped us schedule, change the original plans and then upgrade our cabin last minute with effectiveness and friendliness the whole time! Thank you.

I booked a cruise with this site. I asked the travel agent to look for lower fares if they came available or perks. I saw perks online being offered but the travel agent never followed through in time to get them for me. I saw the fare go down but by the time the travel agent looked for me the fare was gone. Terrible service. Never use them again

It took me 7 months for the insurance company, Allianz, to pay this claim. And now Seth from The Cruise Web is saying I never completed the claim until September. I'm sorry that Allianz is lying to you. Of course, they lied to me, too, so no surprise.

I worked with Lisa at the cruise web and she is just great. She is prompt with returning calls and her voicemail is always up to date. Lisa is just great at finding the adventure requested. We will always use Lisa for our travel plans.

I have booked several cruises with Cruise Web and always have received great service and gotten the best bargains. Our last Cruise with them was the England, France, Ireland, and Scotland on Princess. All details were handled perfectly, we learned at the time we arranged for the cruise we needed to renew out passports. They were not expired nor woulf they but the state department requires they have to have 6 months remaining at the end of your cruise. Thank goodness Cruise Web notified us after filling out their paper work. Probably the thing that keeps me returning to Cruise Web was the way they handled one of our cruise tours to Alaska. A couple of weeks prior to our cruise my father went into the hospital and was not going to live long. Cruise Web was very helpful at getting our cruise changed so that my mother in-law (who's husband had just passed) took my place and went with her daughter, my wife. All this was done, including our Alaska Airline flights, at absolutely no cost. This was far above and well beyond what I expected and had heard about other travel agencies.

If I could give this company a negative rating I would. Pros: sales persons are very nice Cons: Cruiseweb will keep your deposit even if you cancel your cruise the day after booking but will allow you to use it toward a future cruise. This was not discIosed to me when I booked. I booked two rooms on one cruise and had to cancel so I thought I could use the entire deposit for a future cruise and then was told I had to book two cruises or a second room. Cruise webs practices are the most unscrupulous I have ever encountered. DON'T USE THEM!!!!!

I used The Cruise Web for help booking my cruise to Alaska and was fortunate to be contacted by Colley Croteau, a senior agent there. He got back to me immediately and gave me great advice about cruise lines and provided prompt and thorough information about cruises on my preferred dates. He was able to secure an outstanding deal -- better than the cruise line would have given me, for our one week cruise with my siblings, their spouses and my father. He was extremely personable and devoted, spending time at all hours-even after his regular hours, as late as 10:30 at night, to make sure that every detail of our trip was taken care of. Our family, 9 of us, booked a cruise to the Southern Carribean on February 19, 2019. On our return and checking our credit card, we noticed that we were charged too much. They charged our daughter and family on a flight that was cancelled and charged and than booked her on another flight which they also charged. According to our records they owe us $4000.00 dollars. After our original cruise specialist, Eric Davidson, left we were assigned Mike Harris. After talking to him for one weeks we are not further ahead. He no longer answers his phone or sends us e-mails. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Heather Wasson gave us 5 star service when setting up our cruise. We didn't have time for web surfing and researching where to go, Heather did it all for us. We are excited to spend New Years in the Caribbean! Thank you Heather.

This company is located to Landover, Maryland. The company is practicing a dishonest sale practice. The company deliberately separates the port fee from the cruise fare to make it look cheaper comparing with others, say, Royal Carribean. After you're hooked with their price, they will add the port fee together with tax and the final price will be much more than what you should pay for if you have booked through other companies. Moreover, they offer you a so-called on-board credit to make you feel you're gaining, yet in fact that is your money- and often, you won't get the exact credit you're told once you're on board as many had complained. Of note, the Royal Carribean is obligated to give Cruise Web Inc a 16% commission for every person booked through Cruise Web. Who do you think would pay for that? Of course, YOU, not Royal Carribean. On top of all this, if you want to have a chat with their "senior cruise consultants"- you will get a nasty phone conversation if you ever complaint. Try this with John Tarantino, one of the "Senior Cruise Consultant" from Cruise Web Inc. So, the bottom line is stay away from this Cruise Web Inc as far as you can.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line is Lucky to have cruise consultants like Susan Davies and Ian Hoeckel. They have helped us every step of our journey to make all our bumps smooth. Please give them a raise and a promotion! Thanks.

I appreciate the apology but what would be better is REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Unfortunately all I get from this reply is EXCUSES and BLAME to the CUSTOMER! You want real customer service I suggest one book with Cruises Only. They took great care of my hubby and I and we had a wonderful time.
