The Crypt

We stumbled across The Crypt Bar in Denver while waiting for a nearby table, and what a delightful surprise it was! The **bartender was incredibly sweet and bubbly**, making us feel right at home with her personable approach. She engaged us with a few simple questions, shared exciting details about upcoming events like the **spooky drag brunch**, handed us a calendar, and even invited us back for more fun! The bar’s **spooky/horror vibe** is a blast and adds a unique twist to the experience, making it enjoyable year-round. The cleverly named house drinks not only looked great but tasted fantastic too. We had such a wonderful time that we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend checking it out for a fun evening! 🎃🥂

Food, Service, Drinks, Vibes, Cleanliness doesnt matter. This bar is 100% the real deal. Not performative at all. Me and my friends from NC stumbled upon this joint and was blown away by the demonstration of every day communism. The staff aren't just employees, they are residents of Denver who care about the misfits. The level of care and compassion from the bar staff to the back kitchen truly made a memorial night for us and gave us a safe place in a very dark time. But not just we were taken care of, over the course of several hours we witnessed the staff offering compassionate service to everyone who happened upon their establishment that night. If you need a refuge. The Crypt is the place to go.

What a cool place! My friend and I went here for the first time last night and had an absolute blast. The aesthetic is right up our alley and the food here is great (extra love for the poutine and beet salad). We also loved that they let you round up when paying so that the money goes to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. We're from Fort Collins, but will definitely be hitting this place up again the next time we're in town!

I was so excited to see all the vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. And then my food arrived. The barbecue tofu sandwich has only a minimum of barbecue sauce and no coleslaw flavour whatsoever. It’s like they just took a bag of coleslaw, heated it up, and put it on the sandwich with a few pickles and a light, light smear of barbecue sauce. Vegetarians like food with flavor!! I had to put my own BBQ sauce on

By far the BEST alt/metal pub we have visited while travelling. Excellent decor, lots of tables, food is excellent and reasonably priced, and you're allowed to smoke on the patio -- which is a rarity. We would've loved to have the opportunity to see a local show here, but were not staying in Denver much longer. Also, PEEP the drink garnish (photo). It is hilarious!

I grew up where my uncle had a burger joint that had the best pulled pork. He retired and won’t share the recipe for anything. I crave that pulled pork sandwich so bad sometimes. Imagine my surprise to bit into the pulled pork here and transported back to the best ever of my childhood. The smash burgers are amazing. The drinks are pretty great and they do a monthly special where they donate to a charity. The atmosphere is rad. Everything about this place 10/5 stars!!

Hands down some of the best bar vegan food in Denver. You can never go wrong with their dairy free poutine or critter fritters. I love this place and don’t go enough. It’s definitely a 17th street gem. Whenever I have friends come and visit I always bring them to this place ;) it’s very cozy and everyone is friendly.

Trevor is a highlight to an amazing spot. The decor, drinks, vibe, menu, music, pinball ,conversation, all the things. This is a dope spot to visit
