Google
Really enjoyed our stay at the Crystal Lodge. We had a few queries and requests for our stay prior to check-in and the hotel were prompt to answer and accommodate our request. Fantastic service prior to checking in, during the check-in process and throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, well presented, clean and very comfortable. We were fortunate to be allocated a room with a balcony and a view, which made our stay even more special. The location of the hotel is in the village centre, within walking distance to the main bars, restaurants and attractions in Whistler. Would 100% recommend staying at this hotel.

Google
This is darn near a perfect hotel. I have now stayed here on three separate occasions and it has delivered every time. Pros: The location is unbeatable. It could not be better positioned for everything in the entire area. Easy in/out for cars, easy in/out for walking, seconds from major biking trails, seconds from the Whistler Golf Course, simply perfect. The staff is fantastic and service levels are very high including daily room cleaning (without asking). They offer a gym but you're looking for something more substantial? No problem - they offer free vouchers for the Whistler Core Gym - a huge gym just steps from the hotel. Prices are always reasonable relative to the bigger brands in the village. They have ski equipment storage with drying facilities in the winter. They have a great bar in the hotel which mainly acts as a locals bar. They have a rarely used sauna that is awesome and always very hot. If I absolutely had to nitpick, I would say the pool area could use a refresh and some might consider the parking garage a bit tight for very large cars but fear not - they have valet for only $5 more per day. Don't bother checking elsewhere - stay at the Crystal Lodge.

Google
Lovely hotel - especially for a first time Whistler visitor as it is centrally located. Friendly and clean with a relaxed atmosphere. ||Nice size room (we had a king). The aircon was quite loud but didnt affect me. The pillows were sooooo good! ||Great value and we had a wonderful holiday.

Google
We had a fantastic stay at the Crystal Lodge in Whistler. The location is perfect, right in the village with easy access to the lifts, shops, and restaurants. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the amenities like the pool and hot tub made it even better. We would definitely stay here again!

Google
Whistler has a really good vibe and the hotel is in a very good central location, we were provided with ear plugs in case of noise, but they weren’t needed as it was very quiet and we were not bothered by any outside noise. The staff were really welcoming and the hotel room and communal areas were spotless. |The underground car park was very small and spaces very tight, so be aware if you are taking your car. We found that our room wasn’t really big enough for 2 adults, a child and our luggage, the bathroom was also very small.|As Whistler is a ski resort,I wondered how guests with skiing equipment and clothing would manage. We stayed 2 nights before moving on in our trip, but didn’t sleep particularly well as we found the bed and pillows too soft to get comfortable. We did use the pool and hot tub, which were both lovely and the view of the mountains was great. This was one of the best pools on our trip. Pool towels and robes from the room are provided. Be aware that you walk past customers dining in The Old Spaghetti Factory to reach the pool, so you may want to make use of the robes provided in the room.

Google
Had a wonderful experience with my family and dog. They were able to provide us a pack n play along with the dog bowls. Absolutely amazed by the cleanliness of the place and did not see expect it to be that good in the whistler village as we have stayed before at other hotels in the neighbour hood. Would definitely book it again when I plan to visit whistler again. Thanks once again for making this a memorable trip for my kid and pup 😊

Google
I'm sure this is a great place for young skiers to stay in winter but in summer for an older golfing group expecting a little quality it struggled. Rooms were small and we couldn't even put both our suitcases down. Carpet was very tired. Beds were fine and everything was clean. My group wanted to leave their golf bags in storage at night but couldn't do so as the storage room was "too dirty" from all the mountain bikes being stored. The location is great and easy access to shops, restaurants and the village. Important as it does not offer breakfast which is a real drawback for a hotel.

Yelp
Great hotel in an amazing location. The room was clean, very spacious and came with kitchenette (microwave, fridge, plates & utensils). The location is superb. Steps away from supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops. The room also came with 4 robes (2 adults & 2 kids)!

Yelp
The hotel itself is really nice with lots of amenities and an unbeatable location just a few steps from the lift and all of the village amenities. We booked pretty far in advance and it felt like a great value all things considered. The room, while relatively newly updated was small and pretty basic. It had very little space for storage. I will say the trade off for the central location is that it's just busy. The alley behind the hotel (low number even rooms overlook the alley) is constant garbage and delivery trucks. The heavy windows block this out but our room was consistently hot so we often had the windows open to keep it comfy. Odd numbered rooms look over the village stroll and then you get revellers to the wee hours.

Yelp
Wow... Just wow! The view from this location is incredible, and it's a fantastic place to be in the village. You won't get bored, as the lodge is right in the center of the village. If you're skiing, the ski station is only a 2-minute walk away. You're surrounded by amazing restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, but most importantly, everything is very clean, and the customer service is top-notch.

Yelp
1000+ Sqft Loft Review fit 6ppl Equipped with 1K 1Q Murphy bed 1Q Sofa bed Kitchenette 2bath -1K bed 1Bath is located on the upper section of the loft via a staircase -Other beds are on the lower floor with the kitchenette -Each floor has its own entrance -All in all, I don't feel like it's a 1000+ sqft space (unless you count the high ceiling air space...) -It's quite small for party of 5 and a small pup. Once the 2 beds are unfold. There is no moving area or seating space other than the round table by the kitchenette -Upper loft is much warmer compared to the lower for sure. So, upper room is roasting hot when the heat is cracked up for the lower floor. -Bathroom set up is small but sufficient. The bath tub is extra deep. Stepping in need extra caution for safety reason. -Drive in check in is located at the round about/back of village entrance. The parking spaces in front of hotel belongs to city and meter is required. -Parking garage is available for a fee. -Village entrance: selling point of this hotel - convenient. It is located in the center of the village. Everything is within walking distance. -Staff service during the shoulder season is there but not in full. For example, bell service is like if you can handle it yourself... they won't stop you. Grab your own trolly and haul away. All in all, all Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. -Extra point for this hotel is very dog friendly! -FYI, no fireplace in the loft. If the loft is "bigger" in useable size, this is a perfect set up for my vacation needs here.

Yelp
The outdoor hot tub alone is worth more than the price of admission. If you're with the bros, simply strut through the lobby level in robes and slippers past the restaurants and bars a d your guaranteed to share a spirited time with some of the locals. Would highly recommend. Beats going to bed at 8.

Yelp
This was a good hotel in the Whistler Village. You are close to the Whistler Gondola. There are many restaurants and shops in walking distance. The hotel is attached to the Village. There is underground parking for a fee at the hotel. The pool was heated during the summer. The pool and hot tub are on the second floor and have no view. They are outside. The room has slippers and robes. The a/c is a wall unit and can be a little loud. The room was a good size for two people. There is a coffee maker in the room. There is no coffee or water in the lobby. They offer free bike valet in a storage room. The staff was friendly. The hotel had no outdoor street noise. The hotel was clean. There was a laundry room on our floor and a rack to dry/warm gloves and boots. Overall, it was a good place for our two night summer stay.

Yelp
Cannot ask for a better location - in the heart of bustling Whistler village. We had a 3 bedroom unit with a big deck and a great room. The views are spectacular I would return here again to the exact same room Walking distance to the golf course and many restaurants

Yelp
I personally did not stay at this hotel, but my best friend did - and she got engaged on her trip! I was so thrilled for her and contacted the front desk to send her champagne and a note and the front desk was accommodating, excited, and an absolute pleasure to work with. My friend loved her stay here as well. Thank you for being so kind and helpful, she was so touched by the note and champagne! She also requested I mention Eddie - nice guy!! -melissa

Yelp
Stayed here in the loft suite the last weekend of August it was on the weekend and our suite is right in the centre of all the village. Lots of bustling people and energy so it wasn't relaxing. There were people partying in the street all night, loud talking and yelling. It's a great location , but your forfeiting any peace. The suite was okay, there were food crumbs under the coffee table, hair in the tub and I had an allergic reaction in the middle of the night. I suspect that the previous guests may have had a pet. The sauna is really nice and hot but the pool was full of families so I wasn't really comfortable spending too much time in it. Hair in the pool also. Parking costs 30$ per day. They will allow you to use the facilities before you check in if you arrive early. Service was mediocre. The price was very expensive for the little issues we encountered. I wouldn't stay there again. There's too many good places to choose. Probably cleaner, too!

Yelp
Great Lodge, Great Service, Great Quality. The lodge is located is a great spot. If you're going to the slopes is conveniently less than a minute away from the lifts. The room was nice and clean. The king room was comfortable. They were able to check us in early too (at 11 AM) and gave us complimentary storage for our bags while we waited for our shuttle to go back to Vancouver the day after.

Yelp
I have never had a bed ruin my vacation until now. But here I am, awake at 3am again because the bed is like sleeping on a rock. Counting down the days until you leave isn't a great experience.

Yelp
Great Experience here! The room was very clean and the decor updated and all the amenities were in place. Coffee maker, electric tea kettle, iron with board, hairdryer, makeup.mirror! Beds were comfy and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! Rooms were a bittight on walking space/luggage storage. Basalt restaurant is totally gourmet but not too expensive- loved it! I would stay here again and again! Love this place!

Yelp
Our first time in Whistler. The Crystal is in the heart of the village and is very convenient to everything. The staff is super helpful and made check-in a breeze. I didn't like the horrible view of dumpsters and garbage bins from our room, especially in this idyllic mountain setting where beautiful views abound. Also the air conditioning is a window unit and sounds like a seaplane ready to take off. For what we paid, this was not a value.

Yelp
This is our second time staying at the Crystal Lodge, and I stand by my original review. Absolutely love it here! Great accommodating service, friendly personnel, clean rooms, convince all around, and absolute comfort is what you get. Thanks Crystal Lodge and your entire team for another wonderful experience!

Yelp
Location will make you book this place, the room will make you wish you hadn't. We had a room on the third floor and facing the main walkway. The pictures are deceiving because this room is very small. The table is jammed against the wall and you won't have any room to pull the chairs out and if one person is sitting, there is no way anyone is getting around them. The room has new carpet and updated bedding, but the walls for some reason were scuffed up pretty good. Then the bathroom, oh the bathroom, it didn't match the rest of the room. I posted a picture of the sink that stood out immediately, it was rusted with stray hairs. The counters were chipped and it appeared worn out. The toilet seat kept slipping off, as well. I was really unimpressed with this room. The hallway in this hotel had a wet moldy carpet smell and that was my first indication it was more run down than the pictures capture. The manager did respond to my review on Trip Advisor and stated that we got one of the older standard rooms. We had tried to upgrade our room after buying a Groupon for this trip, but the hotel said we couldn't, but assured me the room was one of the nicest they had. Flipping open the room binder the first thing we see is a slip for you to fill out for room repairs. I have never seen this before in any hotel, it made sense once we stayed the night here. They also said they charge $9.95 a night for wi-fi in that same book. I saw the next day on a small card, on the back no doubt, that it is free. This is confusing and not just to me, on TripAdvisor other people commented on the same thing. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it. I see a lot of location location location written in other reviews. Search around, use the internet to your advantage and you will find a better rate and better room. Trust me, once I got the free wi-fi the second night, I was already looking for a different place to stay the next time.

Yelp
Crystal Lodge and Suites are very friendly and accommodating. I booked through Expedia, however I called the hotel before we arrived and let them know that we were going to be bringing our dog with us. They made a note on our booking and when we checked in everything was quick and smooth. They have valet parking for only a few dollars more than if you park yourself. When we arrived to the room we were surprised to find a welcome gift for our dog, including a blanket, towel, water bowl and treats. We were so happy with our choice to stay here! It is also in the center of the village so you can take the elevator right down into the village and has restaurants, salon, and Starbucks attached to the hotel. The pool and hot tub are outdoors but the area is not very private.

Yelp
Can't complain. Checked in at 2am and just needed a comfy bed to crash on. Nice soft pillows and duvet. Clean room albeit small, was right in the village though. Also caught the action as cops chased a black bear through the village right under my window. Outdoor pool and hot tub were a plus. It was Oct and rainy so we had it all to ourselves. Funny that some dude taking a leak outside a party recommended it to us as one of the cheapest in the village - off-season rate but only $100.

Yelp
This is a great hotel in the lower village. What's nice is that you can pop-out of the hotel and different parts of the village depending on which door you take, there's three. This past summer was the second time we've stayed at the hotel. The first time was a few years ago and since then they have updated the interiors of their rooms. I do think the Crystal Rooms are kind of small so if you have kids it may not be the best. I think next time we'll book a deluxe. The staff are friendly and they have nightly events and tastings in the lobby. One down-side that I could see, especially in the winter when people use cargo boxes, is their low garage height. It's 7 feet tall. I'm not sure where parking is for people who are over the limit. Though I'm not sure if any place in the village besides parking outside can fit that tall of a vehicle.

M R.

Yelp
Great stay-- the hotel room was lovely, staff was kind and welcoming, and the location was great. Room was great for the price and they're very dog friendly. I would like to stay there again when I return to Whistler, no question.

Yelp
Happy Hour $.40 wings. Don't waste your time. Was less than half packed and took 40 mins for just 10 wings. The wings were small, dry & crunchy as if they were re-fried from yesterday.

Tania F.

Yelp
This is now the second time I've stayed there and the first time I got the top executive suite and this time being Canada day long weekend they only had the junior suite available but it was still decent. I paid $678 for two nights and they are pet friendly to large dogs for no extra charge which is nice. They have a small pool and hot tub on the deck and this time I had a big patio overlooking the walk way so I could have my morning coffee and sit and people watch. It's right smack on the heart of whistler so it's noisy but what do you expect? Both times I stayed the service was good. The rooms were clean and fairly modern and spacious enough. They charge $25 a day for parking which is stupid. They should just add that in the price. The beds are really comfortable and the bathrooms were fairly big. No big fancy soaker tubs like I'm used too but overall the place isn't bad. I doubt I'd come a third time because there's other hotels I like in Whistler better but no real complaints here.

Hugo F.

Yelp
From the day we walked it looked very nice. Until we met Rob. Rob's customer service was very unpleasing. He evicted us at 4:30 A:M while it was 8 fahrenheit for playing some music at a reasonable tone. He asked us to turn it down and we did, but he came back and evicted us 30 minutes later. Rob was on top of us ever since we checked in, we believe this was racially motivated, because ever since we got here he yelled at us for nor reason. Thank you and do not come here.

Jill s.

Yelp
Room smelled Horrible like body odor- had to move rooms 3 times due to room size not as described on website and what we Pre-Booked. $4000 for 1 week at this 1 star hotel. Need updating bad. One of the elevators wasn't working and hotel was at capacity. Definitely would recommend the Westin or another hotel before trying here. Snow on the day before leaving and asked if we left a day early could we possibly get a refund or partial refund? No, 30'day cancellation rule but for us to let them know so they can rebook the room. ‍Staff was very nice- I'm sure these are hotel rules- so not their fault. Buyer beware-

H J.

Yelp
My partner and I decided to do a weekend getaway in whistler from Vancouver. We chose this hotel because of the hot tub and pool. Nowhere while booking online, or when we checked into the hotel were we told that reservations were needed to go to the pool. Hours later we tried to go to the pool, and we were told that we weren't able to go to the pool because reservations were full for the evening. I totally understand covid regulations, and support them, however this completely ruined our stay and our evening as our that was our plan, and we made late dinner reservations so that we would have some pool time. Such a waste of money and time. Will absolutely never stay there again.

Yelp
Great stay here! Rooms were clean, front desk staff were very friendly, sauna was wonderful, and the location is ideal-just steps away from all of the shopping and restaurants!
google avatar

Frieda O.

Yelp
Staff was friendly and delightful from check in, to checking snowboarding gear, to providing suggestions for dining and events. Location was wonderful- beautiful view from my balcony, and it is right on the village strip so shopping, dining, grocery, movies, mountain lifts all within minutes walk away. Most impressed personally with their staff as I left items accidentally in a shop in Whistler and the front desk and housekeeping staff assisted in getting those items back home to me in California safe and sound. Overall, very satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Placed in a closet by the name of room 112. The very tiny window, down the long narrow hallway of a room, overlooked a large patio (or roof) that consumed all sunlight - if I could see it tonight I would be able to identify it. If you're in the mood for a "meh, this works" type room, prepare to have your lacklustre emotions met. I just hope you sleep well through the night because the bed has only one direction it can face, against a wall that acoustically magnifies all sounds in the hallway. There's a good possibility that the swishing sound of gore-tex pants will lull you to sleep, but don't get too comfortable. The sound of sex from your neighbours will soon have you rolling around with a pillow folded from ear to ear. My tip. Pay the extra for an upgraded room if they mention "you're in room 112". Don't allow this room be rented out, it needs to be brought back to its designation as a broom closet.

Yelp
We got an INCREDIBLE deal for this place on Hotels.com and definitely took advantage of it. I was pleased with everything about this hotel. The front desk staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Every time we requested something (e.g., a spoon, a bottle opener, etc.), they sent it straight to our room within 5-10 minutes. The location is absolutely perfect. You can walk to a ski lift easily within 5 minutes. It is also surrounded by restaurants, which we definitely took advantage of. We also got a discount card for several of the places near our hotel, which was great. Our room was a decent size with two full beds. The bathroom was clearly updated and had a giant soaking tub, which was perfect after skiing all day. Some helpful hints: 1. Do NOT pay for parking here. It is $22 per day. You can park about 5-10 minutes away per day for $10, which we thought was totally worth it. 2. You can't store your skis or snowboard in your room, BUT they have a free valet. If the valet isn't open, just make sure your skis or snowboard is tagged and place it near the front desk. 3. The keys are pretty tricky. Sometimes it takes a few times to get your room to open or the elevator to work. 4. Lift tickets are cheapest if you book ahead of time (3 days out)....or if you qualify for an edge card (e.g., Washington State resident). It is also worth looking into Crystal's package deals, which include a lift ticket. 5. Bring a swimsuit! They have a hot tub and heated pool on site. Overall, a great stay. We will most definitely be back.

Yelp
My fiancee and I stay at the Crystal Lodge every time we go to Whistler and we ALWAYS try to stay in room 331. It is a junior king suite, so a bit more expensive, but so worth it for the view and the balcony. If you don't want to spend any extra make sure you request to be in the new part of the building as it has recently been renovated and the suites are all gorgeous! As previous Yelpers have mentioned, we were woken at 2am by the crowds on the stroll below but it didn't bother us. We just got up and watched all the drunkards stumble back home and try to pick up the few remaining women. It's a fabulous place to people watch! In the evenings before bed we like to count all of the bachelor/bachelorette parties haha The staff is very friendly and gave lots of tips on where to eat, where to party and where to have fun during the day. In the hotel are a few delicious restaurants, a hair salon, a Starbucks and pub. It is directly beside the Village Stroll and it is exactly where you'd want to be! It's close the EVERYTHING you need as a tourist in Whistler. They have a pool and hot tub which is pretty secluded from the public and very spacious, they provide towels at the pool so you don't have to bring yours down from the hotel and they have really nice comfy robes for you in your room. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this hotel! I don't think I'll ever stay anywhere else ever again in Whistler.

Yelp
My boyfriend totally nailed it by booking this hotel for our October weekend in Whistler. The location is right n the heart of the village, a short walk to shops, activities and any type of restaurant that you could possibly want. Our room was beautiful with views of the mountains, plush robes and a ridiculously comfortable bed. The staff at The Crystal was awesome and arranged activities for us, giving us great suggestions that made our trip perfect. There are only two minor complaints. First, the Bathtub in the room was deep, but not long. I am 5'6 and couldn't stretch my knees out and was cramped. The other issue isn't so much of a complaint as a warning, the parking is very difficult to find, if you have never been to the hotel. It's not clearly marked (or maybe as we were visiting in off season, there wasn't an attendant) but you will need to park in the circular drive and run in for parking instructions. We were concerned about leaving the car, as it is not clearly marked as temporary parking for registration. Overall, we had such an amazing stay, that I can't imagine picking a different hotel on a return trip to Whistler.

John K.

Yelp
It's an ok hotel, but my bathroom wasn't completely clean and there some things missing in the mini-bar - which they tried to charge me for - so now I suspect the maid/cleaner just rushed through getting the room ready. Keep in mind most workers are young Australians just looking to pay for their mountain lifestyle. They did remove the charge. The hotel does allow dogs, so be aware it would be a rough night, if you get an unfortunate neighbour. Some pluses ... it is located in the heart of the village and I did get a number of food coupons/gift cards to eat with.

Yelp
For Whistler, this place is great. So far, it's my favorite lodge we've stayed in. So many of the lodges look nice from the outside, but they are outdated and not so nice once you reach the rooms. This place is an exception. The niceness of the outside and the lobby drift straight into the rooms as well. It felt like we were staying in a nice hotel, not just a stinky ski lodge. Friendly staff. Great views. Spacious rooms. Great location that's fairly close to the gondolas. Parking is somewhat hard to find so go in and ask first before searching for it.
google avatar

Kirsten B.

Yelp
Terrible hotel, non-existent customer service if you're looking for a hotel that will ruin your whole trip to beautiful Whistler stay here.
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
Right in the heart of Downtown Whistler Village. It's all about location, location, location! And to top it off, if you want a nice dinner, there is Ric's Lounge below and for those touristy lunch and dinners for the family, the Ole Spaghetti House! Clean rooms for a decent price.
google avatar

Jogenova D.

Yelp
Like the others say, clean beautiful rooms right in the center of the action. What I loved most was that the lifts are right there outside your door and just a 2 minute walk away. This resort is amazing! ( Unless your a foodie) prices seem to effect decor more than food quality but it's not the worst. For everything else, I would come back in a minute. A beautiful place. Nice people, too much to do!! Loved it

Yelp
This hotel is really decent. I went there for one night, for a reasonable price ($100). The room in itself is ok, spacious, clean and modern/functional bathroom. Everything you need (water, coffee, tea, shower products, rope). View was pretty good too, and some rooms have a patio. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar, a pool and a hot tube (outside tho). Really nice lobby. Staff at the front was really helpful and nice. We asked if we could leave after the requested hour and they nicely said yes. Parking is not free - As in most every places in Whistler. Location is pretty good. I had a good time, and would choose that Hotel again if I go back in Whistler.

Yelp
Great place to stay for a weekend in whistler. Central location close to everything. The staff was very accommodating. We accidentally left our car lights on overnight so the battery had died. I called the front desk and within 5 minutes we had a staff member downstairs in the parking garage jump starting our car. Would highly recommend staying here & will be back.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my stay at the Crystal Lodge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is unbeatable- central and close to everything! Whistler/Blackcomb gondolas, shops, restaurants and bars. The staff are attentive and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Whistler!

Yelp
I'm pretty mixed in feelings on this place because it was really nice but I couldn't sleep...and sleep is pretty important when you're traveling. The good: Location location location! It's in the middle of the action and therefore a quick (2-10 min) stumble home from the bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. They also had nice amenities: a gym (small, but it did the trick), a bar onsite with good food and plenty of hockey on the TV, and an Old Spaghetti Factory. The bad: As mentioned, my biggest complaint was that I couldn't sleep. A location right in the middle of the action meant I could hear screaming outside my window from people coming home literally ALL night (and morning) long. Our window was facing the main 'strip' so I'd recommend asking for a room facing away. It was also a holiday weekend in Canada when I went, which probably contributed to the rowdiness. I also found the rooms pretty small & the beds pretty uncomfortable - particularly given the price of the hotel. I'd probably stay here again, just ask for a room farther from the noise so I could sleep.

Yelp
Thanks to my sister and her boyfriend, my family had a one of a kind dream vacation when they invited us to stay at Crystal Lodge with them. They had won an auction for the signature suite that is in the corner facing the Village Square...a huge, 2 floor 3 bedroom space with a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and large living room. If you're at Crystal, you almost can't be more in the center of the action unless you're literally on the stroll. The staff is excellent and service is "bend over backwards" accommodating. We were able to extend our stay, get late check-out, have extras delivered to the room no problem.

Yelp
Exceptional if I need to use one word to describe this hotel. Check in was a breeze. We arrived early around noon before check in and our room was already ready for us. Mind you, we arrived during shoulder season (slow time of the year). When we reserved through Expedia, we noted that we had a baby and a crib would be necessary. Our room had a crib with two soft blankies. We wanted a bit more comfort for our baby, so we asked for a thick blanket to put in the crib and it wasn't a problem. It was delivered within minutes. Room was very comfortable with soft pillows and cozy mattress. You are able to adjust the temperature of the room to as hot or cold as you want. We asked for a room on the quiet side due to our five month old daughter. Definitely quiet, but the hallway noise can be heard. Hotel is located in the perfect spot. Two minutes away from the gondola up Whistler mountain. We can't wait to come back during ski season.

Yelp
I roomed with a buddy at Whistler. I've never stayed here, but he suggested we book a room at Crystal Lodge. Crystal Lodge is certainly central. It's located in the heart of Whistler. Everything in the village is walkable from Crystal Lodge. The room we got was pretty good. It's basic accommodations. Nothing fancy. Reasonable prices for clean and basic rooms. I would say our room was pretty big. 700 square feet. Not too bad for hotel room. It had a sitting area and a desk (darn I wish I took a picture), and 2 queen beds. We were not in the room too much. The point of a golf trip is to golf not to sit in a hotel room, so for the price it was a pretty good deal. My only complaint with Crystal Lodge is that we had a coupon... basically, the coupon was from a coupon book we got... the coupon says 3rd Night for Free. We stayed 3 nights. I approached the front desk and spoke to the manager and she read the fine print to me... based on 80% occupancy she said... cuz the hotel is more than 80% full... the coupon does not apply. The day manager was very amiable and I don't fault her for following the rules. Sorry but here's my suggestion if you want to put fine print proviso like that on your coupons please don't coupon! I don't read the fine print on coupons. In this busy world we all live in who does? The whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth. It's not the money as much the principle involved. I told my friend there must be a hundred hotels to choose from in the Whistler area. I won't be choosing Crystal Lodge again!

Yelp
Friends and I booked this room months ago, during October, to come up MLK weekend to ski. The week of, the hotel cancelled our reservations for being under 25 (even this was NOT mentioned during the reservation process). We had a friend fly in from Norway just to ski this weekend, and the hotel was entirely un-accommodating of that, even trying so far as to NOT issue us a refund at first, then offering to move our reservation to any other weekend before finally agreeing to refund. We explained to them that we are all graduated, none of us are college students here just to party, etc, and they did not care at all that they ended plans that we had been looking forward to for months. Worst hotel service I have ever had the misfortune to experience.

Yelp
The lobby area is very nice and Tom was very helpful with giving us parking directions. Parking is $22 a night for cars. We were on a maotorcycle and parked in a little side spot so we weren't charged. The room we had was situated right over the Village walk which was convenient to everything. The flip side of that was that it was very noisy at night as we also overlooked the bars and people were yelling and screaming until 2am making sleep difficult. The room was clean and nicely decorated but the king sized bed took up so much space that there was little room to move around. The bed mattress was uncomfortable for my husband but ok for me. We could feel the seam between the box-springs below the mattress. The gym had nice quality equipment and the Internet room was spacious and useful. We ate breakfast at the restaurant which was very good; the staff efficient but not overly friendly.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by the fabulous service and hospitality offered by the Crystal lodge & suites for our one night visit! Before we arrived I was greeted via text message from the front desk inquiring about our travels. I notified them that we would be arriving early and they graciously offered to watch our luggage if the room wasn't ready for early check-in but to our delight, it was ready upon arrival. We enjoyed a late lunch in the village before attending the complimentary wine tasting on Thursday evening and still had time to catch a film at the nearby theater. The staff was very friendly and helpful for the entire stay and also watched our luggage while we went out for an excursion after check out. The staff at the Crystal Lodge & Suites are absolutely outstanding. The location and enmities are enough to make anyone want to stay there anyway. The hospitality is game changer. We had the best experience! Clean, accessible and romantic!

Yelp
Attention all mountain bikers: you don't have to live like dirt bags anymore! Just let The Crystal Lodge show you how. If Whistler was Vegas, then The Crystal Lodge would be The Bellagio. The rooms are pristine, fido-friendly, and cozy AF. The bathrooms are pristine and clean up nicely even after you washed all your muddy clothes and gear in them. Centrally located within The Village, you can grab some snacks for the lift, a hot beverage of choice, and buy some new knee pads cuz you left yours at home all within a 100-foot radius. Between the pulled pork French toast at Wild Wood Bistro and the finest Italian dining at The Old Spaghetti Factory, you'll be carbed-up and clearing Moon Booter by noon. When you're all tuckered out from shredding gnar-gnar and blowing up berms with your friend, just roll your trusty steed right into the lobby and hand it off to an Australian bike valet. When it's time to chill, look no further than your own room where you can make yourself feel right, open the window and look menacing with your shirt off, and heckle the pedestrians below. Then, get some rest and do it all over again!

Yelp
I booked Crystal Lodge for my cousin and I for the night. The room was small but clean, nice and well taken care of. It was well worth the cost and we were both thrilled with what our money could get!!! The location is the best, parking for my hybrid was included, staff were kind and knowledgeable. No complaints! Would definitely recommend and book again!

Yelp
We just stayed at Crystal Lodge for 5 days this past week/weekend. It was fantastic!! I am extremely OCD about having everything PERFECT when on a vacation and Crystal Lodge lived up to every expectation and MORE. You are literally in the smack dab center of Whistler Village. You could not be more in the action and are only about 150 yards from the base of BOTH mountain Gondolas. They meet you at the stairs for the lodge and take your skis, wipe them down and check them for the night. Then you simply pick them up in the morning. Super Convenient! There are 20 restaurants and shops within the Lodge, so I am guessing that any review that says there weren't amenities, did not realize that half the shops on the Village Stroll were INSIDE and part of the Crystal Lodge. They also have a nice heated outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna to soak in after skiing. I highly suggest paying the little extra to get a Deluxe Studio over the traditional hotel room. There is a sitting area with couch and chair, a full desk, and a small kitchenette. It gives you more room for ski clothes, boots, etc. It truly felt like a living space where you could get comfortable and have room to relax, rather than just a hotel room. The staff was exceptional and always asked about your ski day or gave you local feedback on what runs were good that day, etc. They were so friendly and helpful, they felt like your friends away from home. We also ate at two of the restaurants that were part of Crystal Lodge; Old Spaghetti Factory and Rick's. They were both very good and again, service was great. I would also highly suggest La Brasserie for Breakfast and also Sushi Village. Best sushi I have had! From staying at Crystal Lodge, you also get discounts at various places around the city, including 20% off at the Irish Pub in the village. They had great Irish breakfast! Last, we took a bus ran by Pacific Coast from Vancouver Airport to Whistler Village. They drop you off directly at the entrance of Crystal Lodge. It was so convenient and so much better than renting a car. WHEN I go back to Whistler, I will stay at Crystal Lodge again. There is no need to go anywhere else when you have the best at a great price!!

Yelp
Highly recommend AGAINST staying here if you want to sleep. 23.55 and it's as if I'm physically in a club, the persistent music won't stop, I've been advised that it goes on until 1pm!! It's not even good music, just a constant LOUD DRONE. Utterly ridiculous. I just want to sleep, after all that's what I paid for, a bed to sleep in.
