The Crystal VAYA Unique

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was perfect for skiing, especially with the ski lift located right next to the hotel. The food was excellent, varied, and I always found something delicious to choose from. I would also like to compliment the bar — the staff were friendly and the drinks were genuinely outstanding. However, the absolute highlight was the reception. They were always kind, helpful, and welcoming. I would like to express my gratitude to Tereza, Ilse, Tobias, and Zsolt for making our stay exceptional. I will definitely coming back!

The hotel is well located (although for beginners the red ski piste arriving at the hotel might be challenging for ski-in). The parking is convenient and offers private access to the lift/rental shop. The lift is not crowded.|The SPA/pool area are amazing and the restaurant is very good.|However... the rooms are not 4*S. We stayed with a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The "sofa bed" they offer for the 2 children is not a bed: it is a hard rock that is small for even 1 child. The sofa bed broke 2 times in the middle of the night and the hotel didn't replace it. Only fixed it after we have complained.|We ended up asking for 1 extra small bed to put in the room... but the room is small and became smaller. So you had to walk on top of a bed to go anywhere. Also there are 2 steps on the room which takes extra useful space. |At this price range there are probably better options in the vicinity of other lifts. Only reason to stay at this hotel is for the SPA/pool area.

We had an excellent stay in Obergurgl. The hotel was very convenient for the lifts - the boot room leads directly to the gondola. Our room was very pleasant and clean with views of the mountains. Occasional noise when clearing snow from road below. Food was good and plentiful- breakfast a particular highlight. My only issue was a €4.50 charge for tap water in the evening - the Zipp tap was turned off which seemed strange. Why not offer guests proper mineral water if you are going to charge? The spa was excellent and had a great range of facilities - perfect to be able to relax after a day on the slopes. Food on the mountain was of a high standard- the village itself is quiet so most of the evening time is spent in the hotel bar with its very friendly bar staff and pool - highly recommended

This is an OK hotel, but definitely not wort the high price they are charging. Hotel is charging way above its level and drops prices for unsold rooms heavily two weeks in advance, damaging its reputation for the loyal early bookers. Location is good. Food is average restaurant food. Rooms are nice and clean. Room service works fine. I would assume this is OK for a 300 EUR / room, but not above that

We spent a nice 5 days with my family at the Crystal Vaya Hotel, the hotel is very nice and spacious, clean, it is clear that the hotel is taken care of in an exemplary manner. We want to highlight the breakfast omelets were fantastic, a little more types of pastries would be nice, but overall the food was good. The spa is very clean and perfect for rest and relaxation. We had a small problem with cleaning in the room, so we had the maid call her manager, who promptly solved our problem and every day during our stay she came to ask us if everything was okay, we want to thank her once again for her care for us. Of course, we also highlight the work of the reception, we were pleasantly surprised. And we take away the best experiences, we are already booking our stay for the next season. We wish you many satisfied guests.

We stayed for a week with my Family and my sisters Family (9 in total). The hotel was absolutely perfect. The breakfast and dinner is well arranged and delicious. The wellness is much nicer than we anticipated. We thought it would be very crowded because we stayed the week of Christmas but it was totally ok, wellness was not busy and we could always find a spot for 9 people to site and enjoy a drink. The location is perfect, right on the slope so a true ski in and out. The service was wonderful ,they even packed breakfast boxes for my sister because they left at 4 am. All in all I highly recommend this hotel and I can't wait to come back here.

Perfect location for the slopes, spacious boot room & hire place linking this who were really friendly & efficient. |Room was spacious & had everything we needed for our weeks stay, quiet, comfy & serviced daily. |Spa was super quiet during the day, clean & relaxing. As expected it did get busier once the slopes emptied but this was never a problem. |Restaurant food was good & plentiful. |Staff were all super friendly & accommodating. |Highly recommended. We had a very enjoyable stay at Crystal Vaya and would happily recommend it.||The location is excellent and very central, making it easy to get around. The room was comfortable, and the food was consistently good throughout our stay. The spa and pool facilities were a real highlight, and the massage was excellent — perfect after a day of skiing.||The staff were fantastic — friendly, accommodating and genuinely welcoming. The bar staff in particular were exceptional and really stood out for their warmth and great service in the evenings.||A couple of small points for improvement:| • The bathroom drain seemed partially blocked and had an unpleasant smell at times.| • The pillows were quite flat and could be more supportive.||Overall a great stay with only minor issues, and we would definitely consider returning.
