A lovely museum with some interesting artifacts What I particularly loved was the seamless integration of modern art alongside the historical pieces. It added a unique and refreshing dimension to the museum experience.

I don't think I have ever given a place one star before, but for the half-hour walk each way, and the$10 entry fee, I believe in warm weather, I would not have gone had I known it wasn't much information. You are basically given and eight and a half by 11 laminated sheet of paper printed on both sides of the different rooms inside the house. Other than that, not much history or anything. I would not recommend this as a stop it was way out of the way. We got way more information from our 4 Hour Island Tour by Irie.

It was an interesting place to visit and see a bit of the history of the area as I had a great tour guide that gave us a complete tour of the house and everything that was there! I definitely recommend getting a tour guide to walk you through it all as I don’t think there’s enough information to gather while walking through the house! I enjoyed the history in the house though!

NOT FREE. Online says entry is free but it’s allegedly not. We were looking at the outdoor art when a man came up and told us we cannot just look around we have to pay a fee. Then brought us inside and said 10$ usd each. Not worth the price for the small museum and most rooms were empty.

Small but interesting items never seen at other island museums.

It's the only museum on the island with a permanent modern art collection and exciting bi-monthly contemporary art exhibitions. And worthy to mention during the openings always premium wine and the famous "kaasbal".
