Location was ideal, the rooms were lovely. Amazingly comfortable bed, great steam shower very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was warm but a bit small, only 10m but bring outside on the roof was a novelty! Would definitely recommend this.

The hotel went out of their way to change my mind. My first impression was not great, luckily my second was nothing like it. Staff were super friendly and pro-active. The room was quite something, well designed, a little dark but very interesting and well stocked. The amenities were very good. The whole experience was comfortable and effortless, the rooftop pool a little cold but what can you expect this time of year with the insane winds. Tasty cocktails on the roof with a great view and a very well rounded buffet breakfast.

This hotel hit a lot of good notes for me. It felt almost brand new, and I had a great room with no issues. Service was responsive and helpful. Great gym and roof bar/pool lounge. It was a good base for my solo trip.

Rooftop Pool with a nice view and great food. Service is impeccable and fast. I went there with friends for a brunch, we stayed the whole afternoon by the pool with cocktails in hands. We did have a great time. We were able to book a table because one of our friend is a curtain's member so I cannot comment on the hotel experience other than the restaurant.

Proposed to m6 girlfriend at this hotel, used the roof top terrace to propose and the staff were very kind and proactive in making this a wonderful experience. Provided complimentary perks to help me and my fiance have a enjoyable experience. Rooms were very nice and the bathroom is amazing. Parking just outside free on Saturday after 1pm and free Sundays. The breakfast was very nice as well. Price is on the heavy side but it is worth the money for special occasions. Leon was who I dealt with and he was very helpful.

My partner and I loved our stay at the Curtain. The breakfast was epic, the roof pool is so warm, the steam shower in the bedroom was such an experience. The room service was also fantastic. The staff are lovely - they even welcomed us with a treat as it was our anniversary. Only a couple of downsides - I felt that the extra money I paid for a city room was a waste of time, the view was just of the neighbouring office building and not a view of the actual city at all. The towels were a bit old and scratchy and there was nowhere to effectively dry them. I know I could have got more but was trying to be a bit energy efficient and not wasteful. Overall loved it and will be back!

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. The rooms are incredibly clean and was very comfortable for our 2 night stay. This hotel had all you want and more. Walking distance from Liverpool Station and great restaurants close by with lots of different bars to enjoy. We would love to return. 10/10.

Amazing hotel in London with very classy atmosphere and furniture. The hotel staff are really friendly. The hotel has a pool though its in front of the restaurant at top floor. You are going to be exposed every guest at the roof restaurant. The room size are quite good and great room accommodation. The hotel is bit expensive but it worth it

The gym is pretty nice and so are the slippers. The room itself was a little crowded with stuff, and maybe not the most thoughtfully designed. The chair to loungge was right... under the tv. There's a rooftop bar you can go to as a guest. I stayed three nights but was very busy with work, then tried to go the night after I checked out and they were unwilling even though I'd just stayed a number of nights without using that option. ‍

Amazing customer service! I luv the rooftop pool and the restaurant make sure to visit both! Also the bar downstairs is very nice. Location was not amazing for what I was interested in but the amazing customer service made up for it.

This review is for the bar on floor -3 Came here for drinks for my birthday, service was great, beautiful place, good quality drinks. I didn't pay for it because it was my birthday and nobody deserves to get old and pay the bill at the same time but I would guess that it was a fair price for this kind of establishment Loved the place. This is by far my favorite hotel in London. The rooms are huge, the service is impeccable, the food in every restaurant is outstanding but the room a service is the best you'll ever experience. The rooftop pool bar and restaurant is a one of a kind. The LP club downstairs is members only and certainly worth signing up for membership alone not to mention the fully equipped gym, spa, screening room, Imperial lounge room, meeting center. The Curtain fit everything you can imagine a 5 star hotel would require into this brand new building that has an atmosphere you just need to visit in order to experience. London has been notoriously burdened with terrible hotels and nightlife, it's refreshing to see that's beginning to change. This hotel is fun, it's hip, it's cool yet designer chic at its finest. The bathrooms are massive with Steam Showers!! The linens are top notch, no expense was spared here whatsoever. The bars are all manned be very well trained mixologists and there's a live band or DJ performing in the club. The VIP line can get long though so be prepared or know someone or call in advance Red Rooster has to be Londons only chicken and waffle restaurant and the chicken is undeniably the best around. Roscoe's comes in a very close second but that's in Los Angeles The rooms are huge and membership is affordable and highly recommended. This is officially now my go - to London hotel.

My husband and I were stranded in London this past May due to British Air IT problem and we were fortunate to find this great hotel. The accommodation were amazing. The staff even better. They went out of their way to make a terrible situation pleasant. Guillermo from Brazil and Peter from Greece are the most professional. Loving understanding people we have ever met. I definitely will go back and recommend this fine establishment to all our friends. Check it out

Recently came a Saturday night for a private event in the basement level. A friend reserved a room for his birthday which comprised open bar, passed hors d'oeuvres and a DJ. Staff were attentive with the bites and friendly behind the counter. Aperol spritzes were tasty and light while the bites were of a good variety and still hot. Seating was plentiful but coming down off the lift felt actually like we had gone down to the basement and not just another level of an otherwise posh hotel restaurant bar. Worth the visit to see what all the buzz was about but would not necessarily return on my own dime.

Great hotel in the trendy Shoreditch area! The staff are beyond helpful and nice. They made sure to make sure all of needs were attended too. Every room here is different, which gives it a nice boutique feel. The mini bar and alcohol selection was impressive. The decor was trendy and edgy to go well with the surrounding neighborhood. The only downside to staying in Shoreditch is the trek to get to the main touristy areas, but Shoreditch itself has a lot to do. Liverpool station was usually our best bet, with about a 10-15 minute walk. Old Street and Shoreditch High Street are very close by as well!

I just want to say this whole staff is amazing and extremely accommodating. The manager Boudy is absolutely epic and I couldn't have had a better stay. I've traveled around the world and I must say this is the best hotel stay I've ever had. Thanks guys!

Not for the hotel itself but just the upstairs restaurant - I was having lunch by myself while my room was getting cleaned. Midday on a Monday, only 4 other people there. I'm in a corner eating lunch and writing some emails, as you do when it is midday on a Monday. After about 10 minutes of quietly typing I'm approached by the mustached manager - only after he took some Instagram pics of a cocktail at the table directly next to me, lol - and get told I can't have my laptop out so "I and others can enjoy themselves". Extremely patronizing, especially because 2 of the 4 other people in the restaurant were on a business lunch. And I don't think me having a laptop open out of view was disturbing the near empty venue. No, there was no signage about this rule posted. Very VERY strange behavior especially since I was paying 800 per night. Good example of putting appearances above actual guest experience. Soured my experience there a bit, as i just needed somewhere to get my work done while my room was being cleaned. Had to finish my food in a rush and run to a coffeeshop nearby. Pale blue suited manager aside , waitstaff at the restaurant were lovely though!
