The Best Breakfasts in Paris for Non-Pastry People

"A neighborhood café in the 20th arrondissement with a limited weekday breakfast menu that includes an adorable œuf à la coque served with dippers like toast, ham, and cheese, and that intentionally discourages laptop use to foster conviviality." - Kristy Alpert

I’ve been visiting Dancing Goat Farm regularly since I first arrived in Florida in 2020, making the drive every 6-8 weeks, often traveling nearly one hours each way just to get their fresh goat milk and eggs. It’s absolutely worth the journey every time! Pam, the heart and soul of the farm, is one of the most extraordinary, caring, and unique people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. As a global traveler, I’ve encountered many people from different walks of life, but Pam truly stands out. Her warmth and kindness are unmatched, and she always makes me feel like family when I visit. What really sets her apart is her incredible sense of humor – it’s rare to meet someone who combines genuine care for others with such a lighthearted and fun personality. She’s not just friendly, though – Pam is also incredibly knowledgeable, and every conversation with her is both enriching and insightful. The Dancing Goat Farm itself is an absolute gem. It’s a wonderful place, especially for children, to experience firsthand where their food comes from. The farm offers an invaluable opportunity to connect with nature and learn about sustainable farming practices. I highly recommend Dancing Goat Farm to anyone looking for fresh, quality products and a meaningful, enriching experience. Visiting is always something I look forward to, and I can’t wait for my next trip!

Dancing Goat Farm is more than just a farm—it’s a labor of love, passion, and dedication to quality. Pam, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and deeply committed to not only running the farm but also advocating for better milk standards with the Department of Agriculture. Her dedication goes far beyond just producing amazing dairy products; she is constantly working to improve industry standards and educate others. As a retailer of Dancing Goat Farm’s products, I’ve seen firsthand how beneficial they are. Their quail eggs, chicken eggs, raw goat milk, cheese, and handmade soaps are all top-notch, and I can personally vouch for their effectiveness—especially in helping pets with seasonal allergies. My customers love these products just as much as I do! Every product from Dancing Goat Farm is crafted with care, and you can truly taste and feel the difference. If you’re looking for ethically produced, high-quality goat milk products from a farm that genuinely cares about both its animals and its customers, this is the place to support. We love everything Pam and her little farm do!

We've been regular customers at The Dancing Goat Farm for years, and over time, Pam has become a friend of ours. We primarily visit for fresh eggs, honey and goat milk, which are absolutely amazing in flavor. Pam also offers a wide variety of other products like cow milk, soap bars, kefir, and more. The goat milk and eggs, including chicken, duck, and quail eggs, are always top-notch. They truly taste like no other! Pam is not only a fantastic farmer but also incredibly knowledgeable. She always takes the time to answer any questions we have about how she raises her animals and produces such high-quality, natural products, especially when we first visited her farm. What we appreciate most is Pam's transparency. If she ever runs low on milk or eggs, she'll let us know and explain what happened. It's clear that she and her family put a lot of hard work into running the farm, and we feel so lucky to support a business that values quality, care, and integrity. Pam and her family are truly WONDERFUL, and we can't thank them enough for all they do. I have been recommending my friends, family and clients to her and again Highly recommend The Dancing Goat Farm to anyone looking for fresh, natural, and delicious farm products!

Went here for the first time and was really excited. Unfortunately the owner was pretty rude to me. I completely understand there’s an egg shortage but I was looking to get farm fresh eggs for health reasons. I stated I’d never been there before but she proceeded to be rude and tell me the eggs are for her “loyal customers” only. Ok, no problem this is how you don’t gain new loyal customers. Gave 1 star because I was able to buy the goat cheese. Do yourself a favor and support a different local farm.

I've been buying eggs from this farm nearly every week (at the Saturday Morning Market in St Pete) for years. They are so much better than store-bought: fresh, tasty, real. I've bought goat's milk, and it is 1000 times better than anything from the supermarket. The feta cheese & chèvre is also fabulous! I recently visited the Farm, and was so impressed by the treatment of the animals- a ton of work, and love, goes into this urban farm. I like to know where my food comes from, and that it's created cleanly, sustainably, and humanely. Dancing Goat Farm is a gem in this community.

The dancing goat is reliable and safe source of many things—my favorite being the goat milk and yogurt, though it is fun to try a duck egg now and then. Pam is a great lady and fun to chat with. There are often roosters in the coops as we walk up, and my baby boy loves sticking out his chest and cock-a-doodling with them. The cats everywhere were saved and given a safe place to live their lives. My favorite is to pet the kitties. I can't believe Pam and her family/team pulled this off in what is now the middle of the suburbs.

I see that Pam is begging for volunteers on Facebook again. I left a short suggestion that the volunteers be treated better. My comment was deleted, and I was banned from the page so I'll post here what I should have shared a long time ago ... This place is terrible. My daughter volunteered here briefly. She was very bothered by the treatment of the animals. I was very bothered by the treatment of the volunteers. Pam is not looking for volunteers like normal places. She's looking for kids to do things that grown adults in the workplace don't have to do. The messages Pam posted in the volunteer group were so rude and condescending. She used the volunteer hour signature as leverage to mandate that these poor volunteers continue in those conditions. Well my kid didn't need a volunteer letter so she stopped attending. The last straw was when we were headed out of town and couldn't find coverage despite asking for many weeks. Pam really thought my 14 year old should be required to find her own coverage when NOBODY wanted to pick up an extra shift. When asked for help, rather than Pam reaching out, she just said to keep sending fb messages or tagging them on fb. That was not a solution, and my kid was getting more and more worried about not being able to find coverage. That should not have been her responsibility as a volunteer! Additionally, they were only supposed to be volunteering until 9pm but it was often later. When I reached out after my kid didn't finish until 1045pm, Pam basically said she watches the cameras and the kids need to be more efficient. She detailed exactly what they should be doing differently. Uhh, why did she not tell them this during the shifts that were running over? Because there was no actual supervision, no direction whatsoever. Watching cameras after the fact is not the same as coaching and encouraging the kids, and there was none of that in real time. Nothing was a small even said until I reached out about her being there so late! The kids trained each other and apparently were expected to provide correction to each other. She even told me that a new volunteer on my daughter's night would have to be "pushed a bit." No way should kids volunteering have that level of responsibility. My daughter had been volunteering on a farm and at an aquarium / animal Sanctuary for many years and never experienced the problems she had at this place. Until Pam focuses on treating volunteers better, I suggest you do NOT volunteer here or let your teen volunteer here. There are way better places to get Bright Futures hours! Edited to add: I am not miffed about Pam not wanting my teen to walk through the neighborhood. I was totally fine with that and respected her concerns by directing her to wait on property until I picked her up. And it's interesting that several former volunteers have reached out and shared similar concerns so I'm not sure where the 99% comes from. Also, her being 14 had NOTHING to do with the way Pam treated the animals and volunteers. She's 16 now, and I would still have the exact same concerns if she volunteered there again. She started volunteering on a horse farm when she was 11.5 years old. She's a hard worker. That horse farm continues to sing her praises to this day as she approaches her 5 year anniversary of volunteering there.

Yelp
Yes. Yes. 100% yes. Pam is awesome. She is a straight shooter. The time for pick-up seems sketchy. But if you order milk (for your cat of course) then she will be there. I decided to visit the farm this week. It is a.azing. They have amazing farm cats. And so much stuff to buy. I'm stoked this farm is close by. When I see negative reviews about a place like this, I recognize that the reviewer is either a competitor or a person enemy of the business.

Yelp
I've been buying products from The Dancing Goat for over a year. I mostly buy when I see them at The Hyde Park Farmers Market but have bought at other farmers markets they participate in as well. Recently, I've been driving to their farm since during these days of COVID-19, there are no farmers markets and local shows. I have barely left my house but journeyed to The Dancing Goat Farm to do a porch pickup this past weekend because I really needed some fresh eggs and cheese. It's very convenient and they are extremely safe. Pam, the owner and super friendly GOAT lady, greets you from a distance and puts out your goodies for you to pick up. This time I bought a dozen chicken eggs, a dozen quail eggs, a golden keffir, basil/pesto/pine nuts goat cheese, bee happy goat cheese, and a special edition of a cherry chocolate goat cheese. The golden keffir is delicious! I love the ginger and it's just a tad sweet. I don't like anything too sweet and this is just right. Pam has explained to me that they only use a little honey for sweetener. I've also had the strawberry keffir in the past and it's delicious as well! I swear the fresh eggs just taste better than anything you can get at the store! They are large to xlarge eggs and I've never gotten a bad one but Pam will replace one if you do. Once you have these fresh eggs, you aren't going to want store bought anymore. Now, for my very favorite items... the goat cheese!!! Every flavor I've ever had is delicious! One of my favorites for savory is Tomato/pesto/pine nuts. I can just eat the whole container with a spoon but I try to be good! The Bee Happy is lavender and honey flavored. Yummy! While, it's a special, I also enjoyed the cherry chocolate flavor. It is definitely sweet, so use it as a dessert cheese! BTW, these look beautiful! Whenever we get back to normal and you are having a party or going to a party, take advantage of these cheeses for guests! I inhaled them before I took pictures. Ugh... sorry... next time. I also want to note that The Dancing Goat takes in non-domesticated, smaller, farm animals rescued by the Humane Society of Tampa Bay! When you do porch pickup you can see some of the goats, chickens, and other animals who live on the farm. You may be greeted by a cat or a friendly and respectful doggy! You can also know that supporting the family-owned, small business also helps support animal rescue. They have many more products: milk, different cheeses, and even goat milk soaps. I've bought several bats of soap and they are wonderful also. Lots of variety and the soap leaves my skin soft. I've been washing my hands a lot more. I've been using a strong antibacterial soap but following with my goat soap to replenish moisture and soothe my hands. I do have some pics of the farm and a pic of their latest list of products! Everything is delicious, healthy, and local. Now more than ever lets support this small business! A tip: They accept cash, zelle, or venmo, no credit/debit cards, do keep that in mind! In order to pick up right now, you need to pre-order although they will accommodate you last minute if they have the product. It's easy and the contact info and how to do it is in the pics I'm posting.

Yelp
Excellent goat milk. Tried it multiple times and pasteurized it at home with my Instant Pot.

Yelp
I went here for the first time on one of the 2 days a year they are open for a tour of the farm. I was amazed at the location, right smack on a street of upscale very large homes. There was an admission charge of $7 per person, $14 for the two of us, which wasn't a big deal, but I thought it was a bit pricey for being able to shop for their products and see their animals, mostly goats and chickens. They did have a couple horses as well. There was some live entertainment, and all the employees were present, so I guess everyone has to get paid. I was in and out in about 30 minutes, mostly shopping for raw milk and goat products. It was good to find out they have farm pick up at the farm on Wednesdays.

Yelp
They deserve 10 stars for supplying products the way nature and god intended. The raw milk is fantastic, I also got cheese, eggs, honey, and soap which are all great. So happy that I found a place to buy these things which are hard to come across unfortunately nowadays. Really just a huge thank you and I am excited to keep visiting.

Yelp
This farm has very unsanitary conditions. The owner, Pam, can be very, very rude to customers. I used to love this place but something has changed and products are sub par.

Yelp
If you love goats or goat cheese, this is THE place for you!!! My husband, daughter and I throughly enjoyed the tour given by the owner, Pam. She is by far one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met in this industry. She was funny, warm and very open to answering our hundreds of questions. We enjoyed a tasting at the end, and her cheeses were amazing! We purchased several of her soaps as well. We will definitely be back, we'll worth the cost of admission!!!

Yelp
Pam Lunn is the best farm to table entrepreneur in the Tampa area. Her products are always fresh and she has a rotating menu of weekly specials. You wont find a more pleasant person to talk with on any and every subject. You can buy direct from her Tampa farm or catch her at one of many markets in the area. As a former FFA mom that has volunteered many hours on this farm, I can attest that she uses only the Best Practices in raising, collecting and preparing her products. All of the animals are her "children" and treated like household pets vs farm animals. She rallys a troop of young future farmers and personally overseas and teaches these young people. She also serves as the Farm Branch for the Humane Society and fosters many livestock animals as well as kitten overflow on her farm. These are the kind of businesses we need more of in America ! Check out her Facebook page, google her many newsworthy articles or visit her farm in person a personalized AirBnB Experience Tours.

Yelp
Love this place. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. Awesome goat products as well as chicken, duck, and quail eggs. All fresh from this urban farm in Tampa. A must to do. They even have AirBNB tours so you can really see the workings of the wonderful farm. Love farm days (they have 2 a year) you really get to enjoy the farm and even buy some tasting treats. For those of us who like fresh made products as well as fresh goat and cow milk this is the place to go. They even do the farmers markets in the Tampa area. So there are a few ways to get their products. Make sure to check them out, you will be very pleased.

Yelp
I've been buying from local farmers markets for years, but I had never had raw goat's milk until I met Pam at the St. Pete market after moving to Florida in 2020. Years ago I was actually scared of drinking it with all of that bacteria that's so villainized, but over time I learned about the many overall health issues that are connected to the health of your digestive system. A huge factor in that is having the proper bacteria and enzymes to help digest food and transform it into the nutritional elements the body needs to grow and heal. That's where raw goat's milk comes in. After trying some of the goat's milk, keifer and cheeses I was hooked. It's absolutely delicious and I have definitely noticed the difference in my health. Great digestion, a clearing of the brain fog I was experiencing and even better skin. I liked the products so much, one day I went to visit the farm, got a tour and sat down for a tasting. It was immediately clear that although Pam is running a business, this farm is a labor of love and her animals are part of her family. She knows them all by name, and there's hundreds! We interacted with the animals and they were friendly, clean, healthy and obviously well cared for. I toured the barn and stables, the milking area, the kitchen and even the soap making facility and they were very clean, organized and really exceeded my expectations. I've continued to visit Pam at the market every week for the past 2 years and the milk and eggs she provides are a staple in our house. I enjoyed my visit to the farm so much I decided to make a video so others could see it and enjoy a taste of something special. Hopefully it will inspire you to visit - maybe even to start your own little urban farm! Here's a link to that video: https://youtu.be/MFicyfGSBhk

Yelp
So I had absolutely NO clue we had a little urban farm in the Westchase area until we stumbled across a Facebook event for their semi-annual Farm Day. We had been in search of a source for goat milk for our dogs and thought it would be fun to check out the farm during one of their open opportunities. I'm glad we did! Pam, the owner, was so friendly and welcoming and we had the opportunity to see all of the staff and volunteers who keep the farm running. We purchased a few bottles of goat milk and the pups absolutely LOVE it. We have since purchased from their booth at a Saturday morning market, but will likely start picking up regularly at the farm as well, which is an option on Wednesdays. (They also have cheese, cow's milk, eggs, and other great items.)

Yelp
Ms Pam is amazing, my family gets their Goat's milk from her and we are never disappointed

Yelp
I visit the farm weekly, as recently as 3 days ago. Animals are well cared for. Business is run smoothly. Products are real food, not the industrial food at the grocery store. The difference in nutrition (e.g. folic acid in eggs) is as much as 20-fold when comparing industrial food with real food from a farm. I have been a weekly customer for 10 years. I solved all my health problems with real food. The flavored kefir (the mango flavored kefir from local mangoes is to die for!) and the feta cheese are my favorites. The goat milk soap is excellent. The goat milk is delicious - my granddaughter has been raised on goat milk in Washington State and loved Pam's goat milk when she came to visit for a week recently. Pam has several options for goat cheese, including pesto with sundried tomatoes and fig butter with walnuts. Pam goes out of her way to communicate with customers and provide a variety of products. You can email her in advance with orders. She has A2 real milk from a nearby farm in addition to her goat milk products and eggs. She sells at local markets and from the farm and runs a very busy business. And personally checks on the goats several times a night when they are pregnant to ensure smooth deliveries of the new kids. Her house is adjacent to the farm. Truly amazing all that she does and all that she provides for our health!

Yelp
This is a great place to buy unique Christmas presents. I have ordered many of the (non-perishable) items and my friends love them. The soap is my main item, we use it everyday and keep a fresh bar in our guest room. All of our children get a bar in their Christmas stocking and they seem to like it as much as we do. We live in Western North Carolina, but if we lived closer we would try all the other products. Nothing but great customer service and products from Pam aka The Dancing Goat farm.
