My wife and I recently completed a European honeymoon with several days in Dublin. We agree that the Davenport was our favorite stop by far. Very high praise in particular for their front desk manager Yigit, who was fantastic. Yigit answered all our questions about the hotel, the area, other local cities worth visiting, etc. - and we had a lot of questions. He and the rest of the staff could not have been friendlier or more professional. ||All the Davenport amenities were terrific, but the bar in particular is excellent. Jack the bartender is a fantastic mixologist and very friendly guy who made it a pleasure. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

The Davenport is not only an upscale facility but their staff is the tops, especially Rosilex! Rosie’s met our every need from as soon as we arrived and made us feel completely at home. All on the staff were very attentive but she helped make the trip even better with her excellent and honest recommendations and her aid in getting around the city. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff there as well was super attentive. Definitely get the breakfast added to your stay. You could not ask for a better location to get into the City Center as well. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Dublin.

After traveling throughout Ireland for several weeks, staying in Bed and Breakfasts, we wanted to conclude our vacation by treating ourselves to a good hotel in Dublin for a few days. The Davenport fit the bill perfectly. It's in a great location, next door to Trinity College and just around the corner from the National Gallery. Just about anything else is within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful (special shout-out to Rosilex and David, at Reception, and Kerry, in the breakfast lounge!). Our room was large, clean, and well appointed. Our king bed was extremely comfortable, with great pillows. Breakfast options were extensive and well prepared. We had dinner one night in the hotel's bar/restaurant; the duck confit risotto was excellent. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I recently stayed at the Hotel in Dublin and had a very pleasant experience. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, which was perfect for my business trip. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to navigate the city and attend my meetings. Additionally, the service was impressively fast and efficient. I would highly recommend the Davenport Hotel for anyone traveling to Dublin for business or leisure.

We had an overnight stay at The Davenport and really enjoyed it. David and the reception team were welcoming and extremely helpful. The location is just a short walk from Grafton Street and St Stephens Green. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and walk in shower. Good selection for breakfast and again a helpful team. There is also a great place for brunch right across the road! I would definitely stay here again.

Positive: The staff was very nice and helpful. The cleaning staff were very efficient. The location was exactly as described in the St. Stephen's Green area which was not busy at night with noise. All attractions were within walking distance. Negative: Our first floor room window overlooked the construction area which we were not told anything about. It was a bit noisy in the morning. There must have also been construction directly above our room as chairs were constantly moving and tools were heard.

This hotel had some points that were really outstanding. First of all the bed we had and linens on the bed we amazing. Truly my husband and I joked that it was worth the flight to Dublin from Toronto to sleep in the bed. The nap I had was one of the most delicious naps in my life. We both loved it! Also the wools blanket and pillows made in Ireland were so beautiful. Second, the towels were very thirsty, heavy and excellent! Thirdly, the breakfast was very lovely. Fourthly, the shortbread cookies served with coffee and tea are fabulous and they are handmade at the hotels itself. I told them they should market the cookies as the Davenport's Shortbread. They are a superb cookies and excellent with a cup of tea. The location of the hotel is great for a downtown location. All in all we had an excellent stay at the Davenport Hotel. We still day dream about having another nap in those sheets and that bed....just dreamy!
