This place is awesome. No frills vibe but amazing sandwiches made by two super nice and efficient guys who are clearly sandwich pros. The hoagie roll was super fresh and had a great crust, too. Had the turkey club and hot Italian. Both really great sandwiches. Highly recommend - we’ll be back!

Great place to stop for a quick sandwich between Eldora and Boulder. Great customer service, outstanding sandwich, and perfect location if you’re hungry after a long day of skiing. My friend and I got the Reuben and the Rachel, and they were phenomenal. Highly recommend.

A must stop in Nederland, CO — a stop along the Peak to Peak Bi-way. The made-to-order cannoli was the best I’ve ever eaten ( and I have family in Italy 🇮🇹). The pasta salad was super fresh and not drowning in dressing 😅. But the subs that walked out door, looked and smelled amazing.They are made to order by a quick & friendly crew. Next time I’ll get the Reuben regardless of the day’s weather. 👍🏽Grazie!

The Deli At 8236 is still... A hole in the wall slinging out a mighty tasty sandwich! I rolled in, ordered The Toscana from a friendly cashier, waited for a few minutes then drove down to the lake to enjoy it. The Toscana had prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted peppers, balsamic & oregano on a hoagie. We subbed the prosciutto for soprosetto and asked for all the fixings that they put on their regular sandwiches (lettuce, onion, oil, etc.). It was just the fuel we needed to continue on our epic mountain day! :D

We stopped in Nederland on the way to Estes Park and wanted to grab a quick bite. We split the Italian and it was delicious! Really gotta hand it to them, they know how to make a great sandwich! Hoping for continued success for this place.

Recently went to Nederland and was looking for a quick bite to eat while out there. Stumbled onto The Deli off of First Street while walking around and wow, so glad I did! Ordered a half Italian and it was packed full of flavor and seasoned very well. Definitely will be back next time I'm in town to try other options and take a photo of the menu! This is as no frills as it gets. Nothing fancy or polished here. Home to old school, sloppy sandwiches to revive you after a hard day's night. The Deli at 8236 (elevation) is nestled along Nederland's main street. On a weekend, it's packed. They have seating, but mostly no one is there to dine in. It's predominantly used as a waiting room. I can see lines and ticket times going over the desired amount (ours was 10 minutes late), but ultimately you're armed with big ole sandwiches in tow. Spicy Chicken Parm ($13) // Chicken cutlets, mozzarella, parmesan, pepperoni, hot giardinerra. This thing was messy, but boy it packed a serious punch. The spicy peppers cut through the richness of the salty pepperoni and chicken cutlets. I felt like embracing my Italian American background and this hit the spot. *PRO TIP* take your sandwich downstairs and you'll find some underutilized picnic benches. My wife and I enjoyed our sandwiches looking at the mountains and listening to the creek. Our pups appreciated the space to roam without a huge hovering crowd. For a filling and satisfying lunch, hit up this deli.

Excellent house made while you wait sandwiches. Big enough to share. Boars Head products. Seating available. Service is not fast, but the resulting sandwiches are worth the wait. Canned and bottled drinks available. Nothing fancy here. If you are in Nederland at lunchtime, this is a place well worth considering.

Got the cheesesteak sando and classic turkey press. This place is super cute and continent located right in the center of Ned's First Street. The cheesesteak is served on a fluffy roll and is the perfect cheese-to-meat-to-everything-else ratio (the onions and mushrooms rock too). My usual order is the Turkey Press which is a favorite but after going with the Cheesesteak today I may be a convert. Awesome deli with awesome vibes service and sandwiches. Come check them out! Perfect spot for a grab-and-go sando before a hike or trip to Barker Reservoir.

Philly cheese steak was lacking but that's on him for ordering a pile of meat on bread anywhere but the east coast. turkey press was fab. Bros behind the counter are bros I would love to Have as best friends.

Place reminds me of a deli I'd frequent back on the East coast. All the sandwiches are amazing. My go-to is the eggplant parm. The bread is always fresh and the service is on point!

The Deli is 5 star. Count on it. They make the best sandwich I've had since I left NY three years ago. It's not on the menu, but I order the American Combo, a classic made with turkey, ham and roast beef. Otherwise choose from the cold or hot sandwich menu

We ordered lunch for a visit from our CEO. Now we're stuck with the Deli for his next visit. They handled last-minute changes with aplomb, and were still ready on time with the best pastrami west of the Mississippi. Thanks, Ross and team.

A delicious deli with kind and generous owners, reasonable prices, and a nice spot to enjoy a meal. Their $8 breakfast sandwich with tomato and pesto is stellar! Highly recommended! I will be back.

Stopped at this small deli at random while passing through town, totally unaware that we were about to have the best sandwiches of our life. Husband ordered the chicken parm while I selected the Athena. This was on day 3 of a fairly romantic honeymoon trip through Colorado, yet I moaned more while eating that sandwich than I had for the entire trip to that point. (Sorry babe.) Service was also excellent, fast, and friendly, but I would have rated 5 stars if they had spit in the food and cursed us out. Sandwich is that good.

So many yummy options : I love the Chicken Parm & the Meatball Sub- and their breakfast sandwiches are delicious too! (**MUST ADD - spicy peppers!! ) ...and do not miss their Cannolis!! Best dessert in town!

I don't have a lot to say other than that this place makes consistently delicious sandwiches from fresh ingredients. My favorite is the mozzarella fresca and my husband enjoys the Chicago beef. A great place for a quick lunch, though less good for dinner as they aren't open very late, particularly on weekdays.

Advice: Go where the locals eat... yup EVERY TIME! This small deli served great subs with high quality ingredients. We had a Turkey Press, a Cheesesteak Hoagie, and a New England Clam Chowder. (We were so hungry and the food was so yummy that I forgot to take a picture!) ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The ambiance was welcoming and staff was friendly. PS: music was also great:)

I was up in the mountains today and stopped by for lunch after checking reviews for this place which were very good for the most part. Service was good. The interior of the restaurant was decent, but dated. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak to go. Just to let you know, I am very picky about bread. Unfortunately, my sandwich did not have very good bread. But, I think that most folks would be happy with the bread here. It's a very typical soft loaf, like what you might find at the supermarket. I'm not trying to be mean, just giving you my honest opinion. If you've gone here and like their sandwiches, more power to ya!

Stopped in for lunch after a morning hike. After reading the reviews and seeing the pictures other yelpers posted, we were exited for a quick sandwich. They have both hot and cold sandwiches listed, we opted for the philly and french dip. With only a few people ahead of us in line, we weren't expecting a long wait. I'm sure we caught them at a bad time, but it was at least half an hour before we got our sandwiches and seemed at some point that they forgot about us. Three have several tables lined up against the wall and we snagged one in the back while waiting. When we finally got our sandwich, they were decently warm. The philly was good and flavorful, they didn't skim on meat and veggies!

Came in and ordered the turkey press. It was during an off time so it took a bit longer to get my food. The sandwich was tasty but a bit on the smaller side. (Remember the smoosh factor!) Overall, great stop.

This place is so good!!! We ordered 4 different subs and they were all so delicious. We didn't leave anything behind. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be going back for subs next time we're in Colorado.

The food from the Deli has stayed consistent throughout this crisis and in fact, the menu has expanded to include the best Stromboli and calzones I've had since moving here 15 years ago from the Philly area. Their door side system of paying and picking up works great. Go Deli 8236!

Stopped through Nederland during a trip to look at investment properties and found this little gem. They were taking orders at the door to keep everyone distanced. The sandwiches were so fresh! Everything from the fresh baked bread, to the sliced meat and cold vegetables were delicious. Another plus is they are fast. In less than 10 min I had my order. Will stop by again when in the area!!

They have it all! From tasty subs to killer soups, the Deli in Nederland rules your tastebuds from start to scrumptious finish. It as if the people who make your sammich really care about the tender loving every sub needs from their hands to yours. They even have cannolis A must try for anyone visiting!

This is so good. The Boars Head meat is great quality. The rolls they use for the subs are perfect. Even the gluten free bread is yum. Bottled Coke with real sugar cane is a must. 1960s jukebox plays 45s for free. Highly recommended.

Do you love sandwiches? You should eat here. I've been here a few times, but was really inspired after a trip last week to share the love. My Cuban was AMAZING. Hot and crusty without being greasy, it was perfectly toasted and the fresh meats and cheese make a huge difference. The staff person was really helpful as I tried to make up my mind about lunch (everything sounded delicious). He even gave us advice about other places to check out in town. The Deli is a great place to stop during events in Ned, after ski days at Eldora, or whenever you just really want a good sandwich from cool people.

Stopped in for a quick lunch during our drive through the peak to peak drive. I got the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, which I absolutely loved. My girlfriend got a turkey which was also good. Definitely worth a stop! It's awesome to see that they do things like make the coleslaw.

Get yourself a warm meatball parm, or smooshy motzerella turkey press with basil and red peppers, enjoy neil young on the speakers, indulge in a mexican coke and settle up when you're done, no rush. You will not regret this experience. Perfect for a post or pre-hike.

Had an amazing pastrami and cup of chili here. They also have bottled Coke. I'm so picky about food and don't write reviews often but felt the need to tell everyone about this deli.

I had the steak(beef) and cheddar sandwich up here during Frozen Dead Guy Days. The staff did a very good job at cranking out good quality sandwiches in a timely fashion despite the large crowd that was here for the event. My sandwich was delicious and the brownie I had equally so! Despite the small restaurant being busy there always seemed to be someone there to ask me if I needed anything else. Very well managed! I went by another restaurant that I was considering but the line was out the door! Here at Bella's I was able to get a seat and enjoy my lunch! I will definitely keep this place in mind next time I am in Nederland!

We stopped in to share an impromptu Chicken Parm Sandwich (or hero as we called it in NY). It was large, cut in 1/2 as requested, hot, and the perfect mix between chicken, cheese, and marinara. Us two former NYC ballbusters liked it a lot! I would return for sure.

We stopped and ate at this deli while driving through back to the sugarloaf mountains. This town overall is cute, but kind of sketchy. The sandwiches were just alright, nothing to write home about.

Let me start by saying it's just a sandwich right? I usually don't go out to eat and get a sandwich, I just feel I can make it at home so it's not top choice. I stumbled upon this humble little sandwich shop and figured I'd try it out. The prices are very good especially as they let you order half subs so you can try multiple sandwiches. I ordered the Tuscano which has mozzarella, tomato, prosciutto, roasted peppers and vinaigrette. Sounded like a dream! Now I'll be honest they gave me the wrong sandwich and I'm still not sure what sandwich it was but it was amazing! Seriously like wow, Turkey, onions.....I absolutely devoured that sub and called to tell them, they were super apologetic but we laughed together because i was so impressed, I went back the next day refused to let them comp it and tried 2 more subs. I got my Tuscano and have to say omg it was delicious! The Chicken parm was solid also. I will work my way thru the entire menu someday and find that mystery Turkey sub that blew me away. It's just a sandwich right? Haha leave the sandwiches to these experts. Oh and I would have taken a picture but I took a "bite" first and the rest is history!

Went here after our hike and it was exactly what we needed. Great menu, good size subs and very reasonable prices. Plenty of outdoor seating and one of the best chicken parm subs I've had in a very long time. For those eating cold sub, they have boars head meat which is a huge plus, for me anyway. Will 100% come back next time I'm in the area!

The Cuban is a MUST!! The cannolis are a MUST!! I wouldn't be afraid of trying everything here. Absolutely delicious and they gave my dog some free meat. The Cuban was perfect and the meats and bread superb. They have the best business model: over-promise, over-deliver.

Long wait at 2 pm on a Sunday with two people in front of me and then to top it off I found a hair in my sandwich . Enjoyed lunch on the teeny patio with a birds nest and bird poop accoutrements

Great little deli! I've had a few different sandwiches and have never gone wrong! They are friendly, and don't seem to get "overwhelmed" when there are more than 2 customers in the vicinity like other businesses in Ned. They also have a little bit of seating outside. Hot and cold subs are both amazing! Definitely 5 stars!
