The Deli Restaurant at Boschendal

Love this little restaurant and actually went there by default because their main wine tasting and restaurant building was under construction I believe. Wish they listed that somewhere before I drove all the way out but the menu at Deli did not disappoint and the service was great. I am always hunting for the Malva pudding with plenty of custard like the way we made it at home and this was a winner!!! Loved it

Good food, great location, service was poor. We waited for cuttlery after asking several times, our food arrived first, the cuttlery arrived once the food was cold. Same goes for the ice bucket that we requested 3 times, while our bottle sat in the sun. The restaurant wasn’t busy at this point and we had to go in to request these things. It’s a pity because the food was good, as was the setting and the atmosphere. The ladies attending us gave us the impression that they could not be bothered. :(

4/5 – Boschendal Deli The Boschendal Deli offers a beautifully curated farm-to-table experience with fresh, seasonal ingredients and a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The charcuterie boards and baked goods are standout highlights, and the wine selection pairs perfectly with just about everything on the menu. The vibe is relaxed, perfect for a countryside brunch or laid-back lunch. Only downside? The service can be a bit slow or inattentive at times, which takes away slightly from the overall experience. Still, definitely worth the visit for the food and setting alone.

We went off to Boschendal for lunch today. What a beautiful place in general. A Farm shop, a home shop and of course somewhere to eat. We ate under the mountains and Oak trees. The weather was perfect. I had the Yellow tail fish, an absolute treat. My husband had the Babotee. He said the best he's ever had. The staff were phenomenal, they knew the menu and made excellent decisions. Thank you all for making our outing so memorable. We will most definitely be back. 🌸🦋🌸

New shop and deli at Boschendal, fabulous food and gift offerings including an excellent MCC. Lots of construction going on because the place is being revamped. Going back soon to check out their new garden, grounds and restaurant. Well done, Boschendal!

Our favourite spot to go for croissants during a bike ride. The deli has amazing products for a picnic. Still want to come back and have a picnic on their beautiful lawn. Highly recommended!!!

A wonderful experience at the oldest wine farm in the region. The Deli restaurant is set in a beautiful area with a stunning outside seating secton underneath the trees. The food is delicious with a fresh selection from the daily menu. The service is impeccable and the staff are friendly and warm. The gardens around the restaurant are absolutely stunning. In summary, a memorable lunch outing.
