Our experience here was amazing. The food was delicious, and the treats were fun and festive. The staff was amazingly helpful, and even provided us with (celiac friendly) gluten-free options. I would absolutely recommend this little deli to anyone looking for a quick delicious bite to eat, or for some festive treats to take home to the family.

A loaf of sour dough bread was 15 dollars!!! And they have the audacity to show me a tipping screen even though I literally got the bread from the shelf, walked up to the counter, and had them scan it. I don’t mind tipping those in the service industry but these tipping screens literally everywhere are getting ridiculous.

Google
We ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwhich from the kiosk which shows the ingredients....or so you would think that the list of ingredients is what you'll find in your sandwhich. It had mushrooms, jalapeños and onions and none of which were shown in the list of what the sandwhich included. Yall need to be way more careful charging $17 for a single sandwhich and then being unclean about the ingredients for people with allergies or people who simply ordered it because it didn't imply mushrooms.

The young lady that helped us was super helpful. Great service, delicious salads and gluten-free cookies.

Don’t come here for the shrimp Po’Boy. Not very good at all. There were maybe 5 shrimp on the sandwich. $14 for it.

Google
This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The food was inedible, and the service was horrendous. They got our order wrong and when we asked them to correct it they said there was nothing wrong. The environment and ambiance has been completely ruined by poor staff hospitality and excessive construction. No matter what stay away from Sundance and especially stay away from the deli.

Google
Cute little deli. Bought a delicious loaf of Sourdough bread and a few homemade caramels. I was dining at another restaurant so I cannot comment on the food or sweets the deli offered, but everything looked good and clean.

This was a great place to stop by for lunch while we stayed close by at a cabin. It is a little hard to find but it's a beautiful walk to get there after you park. There's a big parking lot around here but it can be hard to find a parking spot. I didn't find a clear menu online so I took pictures to help you all out! Everything was really good but our favorite things were the kids ham and cheese sandwich and the spicy Italian sandwich. We also really loved the smoothies. The whoopie pies were good but I would give them four stars out of five they just could be a tiny bit better quality. I would think for the price you pay though it should come with a side dish. Overall, this is a fantastic place to take my family! Great food and flavor. I can't wait to try more on the menu next time!

Yelp
Went here for breakfast on a Saturday at around 10 am. The Foundry Grill was already closed so we grabbed food here. They offer some great breakfast options. I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon, eggs and cheese and a fruit tart. They also offer tea and coffee. I ordered the iced caramel macchiato and it was great. I would highly recommend a stop in here for food if you're up at Sundance and looking for a bite to eat.

Yelp
i loved their signature black and white bars as much as i imagine i will love my firstborn-child. however they took them off the menu and it took a big hit at my quality of life honestly. but i also love their morning buns a great deal, and they still crank those out. so, life treads on i guess. a new ache here, a new pain there, and losses around every corner. what can we do? run to the streets cursing at the sky? cry softly into our pillows? your guess is as good as mine, friend.

Yelp
This is a good place to get some sweets while at the Sundance Resort. I was pleasant surprised at how tasty the caramel brownie, graham cracker Krispy, and coconut bar were. I expected worse. I had key lime pie and cheesecake at a catered event, and they were amazing. I don't know if it's the same dessert chef, but this chef knows what they are doing. The one star deduction is for the sandwiches, which I found underwhelming and overpriced.

Charleigh C.

Yelp
It doesn't even deserve a star. We had the smoked salmon flatbread, hot chocolates and chai and the mudslide brownie. The flat bread was hard as a rock, there's nowhere that is says it's smothered in wasabi, It was terrible. The hot chocolate was bland and goopy, and the chai was way watered down. The mudslide brownie was something I could make at home And we payed $46. Payed extra for whipped cream, didn't have any on them I went and told them to put some on and one worker said she had to go find some and the lady who helped us admitted that's why she didn't put any on cause she wasn't sure if there was anymore. She didn't even go look she just left the empty one in the fridge.. Lazy for what customers are paying. Very disappointed. I used to work there and the old food was way better and way simpler.

Brit L.

Yelp
Food was okay. Value was terrible, and the service was even worse. Charged a mandatory 20% tip when I ordered a few sandwiches from the counter. They wouldn't walk the sandwiches to our table or even label them, so not sure what the tip was for, let alone the fact the sandwiches were already significantly overpriced. To make matters worse, they got the order wrong.

Sil H.

Yelp
Good sandwiches and shakes. S'more bar is very good. If you want a very good Reuben sandwich this is the place to try, it was the the best one I ever ate and I am extremely picky/snobby about my Reuben. Why 4 stars? A little pricey but if you are on the slopes why not, right?

Jennifer D.

Yelp
This place has good options for sandwiches and snacks. It's fairly overpriced. But overall an easy option for the area.

Chelsea M.

Yelp
Such a convenient place to grab a quick lunch or snack while you are enjoying the beautiful Utah mountains. One of my favorite treats from here is the s'mores bar. The bars are soft and the marshmallow makes them ooey and gooey! The Summer Farro Salad is such a large and filling salad and has such fun ingredients that work well together. Grapes+feta+walnuts+veggies= a seriously great salad! The turkey club is a great classic sandwich. Nothing really fancy going on here, it's just a simple classic. Also, the M&M cookie is fantastic. It doesn't look great, but it's always soft, large, and definitely hits the spot. It's the perfect hiking snack. The food is a little pricey here, but it is always high quality, fresh, and totally delish!

Sarah L.

Yelp
This was the most convenient eatery in Sundance, UT. My friends and I had their sandwiches two days in a row! Service is quick and friendly! I tried the turkey sandwich without cheese. The bread it was served on was delicious! I believe it was sourdough? Toasted and very flavorful. I also tried their spicy Italian. It was not spicy at all but still delicious. Sort of wish the bread was toasted. The pickled onions add a nice touch! Don't be intimidated by the long line in the morning. It goes by pretty quickly! My friend got a green kale smoothie and I believe she enjoyed it very much!

Karen F.

Yelp
I came up here for the full moon Lift rides and decided to get a sandwich before I went up on the chairlift. The sandwich was $14 which is pretty expensive for a Reuben but it's a ski resort so what are you gonna do? The sandwich was very good the scenery was even better all in all it was a nice evening up at Sundance.

Ken B.

Yelp
We stopped in for breakfast before we went hiking in the mountains. It was basically the only thing open as early as we were looking to eat and was near where we had planned to hike (upper falls). We ordered two of the breakfast sandwiches. Egg, sausage and bacon on a bagel. It was pricey for what it was; but it was tasty and open when we needed it. The girl behind the counter was friendly and attentive. The coffee was good too. They sell small batch sodas (really pricey), that we enjoyed also. We tried several of them that were unfamiliar to us. But that were enjoyed thoroughly after our hike. The menu is small. But what they have is good. The good: food was tasty, service was fast and friendly. The bad: menu is limited, and a tad pricey. Another angle: great location for an after breakfast walk around the facility. We would absolutely go back.

Steven S.

Yelp
Food tasted good but way too expensive for the amount of food... $15 for a 3 inch by 3 inch sandwich..... There's a difference between dry bread and toasted bread. This was definitely dry... it was rock hard. Not worth the overpriced hype.....

Matthew L.

Yelp
I have been coming to the Sundance Deli for like 5 years and the sandwiches are always really good. I don't think I have ever had a bad sandwich or one that I was like, I don't like. They also have a lot of different soups, salad, drinks, milkshakes, and other items you can get. They have a great little candy store that you enter to order your sandwiches and they have some fun tasty cadies in their. I have tried the Italian Sub, Turkey Sandwich and the Steak Sub. All are pretty good and decently prices except for the steak sub which is a little pricer than normal, but a good sub. All subs and sandwiches are made to order and you can get an array of toppings added or subtracted from your sandwich or sub, I have also had cookies here and they are always very good. The cookies are made fresh everyday and they use a great recipe for them. They are large and shareable! They have a nice little outdoor patio where you can take your food outside and consume it. You can also get it to go and consume it on top of the slopes or on a hike! The Sundance Deli is great and I highly recommend it.

Bruno P.

Yelp
It ordered a cookie and some hot cocoa. Very delicious all of it. The cashier was really cool!

Matt G.

Yelp
Great light fare, sandwiches, coffee/HC, snacks, suckers, and Sundance gear available here. nice little bar to eat at, or you can use the seating outside. (They don't serve any of the restaurants outside, so that seating is all yours!) Pro Tip: The breakfast croissants are why you're coming here in the morning, but they usually only have 4 or 5. Ask close to opening time, or arrange the previous night for them to save you one.

Chris S.

Yelp
The food is fine, nothing special. There were 6 of us ordering from the counter. We ordered no drinks, only 3 bags of chips, 5 sandwiches and one wrap. $134.36. And then they added a mandatory tip of 20%. Ridiculous. A tip is something that I give, not something that is taken from me. We had no table, no server. This is a deli where you pick up your food to go and walk outside to eat. The stupid thing is that if I had simply ordered the food myself, then it would be a party or 1 and no tip would be added. But because we had six people order, we're penalized. Our tip culture is out of control. The price of the food is already exorbitant. But to then gouge me for 20% on top of that really upsets me. Had I not been in a hurry to get to the airport, I would have insisted on talking to management. I hate being taken advantage of. I feel like Sundance picked my pocket. They are completely dishonest with their pricing. If you're headed to Sundance, expect to be taken advantage of and ripped off.

C Y.

Yelp
Pretty average deli with overpriced sandwiches and drinks but otherwise a solid option at the resort for a quick casual bite. I got the falafel wrap which was decent but not worth $13. Cold brew was refreshing!

Dave C.

Yelp
All the food is solid, however half of the experience is eating outside as you connect with nature in the beautiful surroundings. Naturally, you'll pay a slight premium for this. Fruit tart is as delicious as it looks. Black and white bar (apparently someone was upset they couldn't see all "7 layers") is rich, decadent, and the perfect size to share, or not. Sandwiches are all made to order and can be customized. Wait staff is happy to help. The menu changes periodically, so your favorites may disappear or be altered over time. This happened to our favorite: chicken salad sandwich (moment of silence please...). First the recipe was changed (pine nuts out, grapes in), then removed altogether. We're still grieving over this loss. Lunch time during winter months the line can go out the door. Whether you're ordering ten sandwiches or just want a cookie, you'll be in the same line. The line don't care. Keep an eye open to spot celebrities outside their native habitat (we've seen Aaron Eckhart perusing the Sundance shop).

Seth S.

Yelp
This place was beautiful. Service was not great and everything was overpriced. The coffee was okay but felt like decaf, way overpriced and they charge for refills.

Bryan L.

Yelp
Nice cozy little cafe right at the bottom of the ski hill, so it's easily accessible and even on busy days the deli doesn't seem too crowded. Food quality isn't amazing but it tastes better after a couple hours of skiing. Nothing under $10 on the menu and that's pretty normal given the location. Not a bad choice if you're trying to eat at Sundance but keep it cheaper.

Robert J.

Yelp
We ordered two chai drinks, but waited forever (over 10 minutes). After we noticed people who'd ordered after us getting their drinks, we asked what happened to ours. They apologized and said they'd make ours next. After waiting 15 minutes, we didn't get chai, though. All we got was 2 cups of hot milk with NO chai spice or tea in it at all. The drinks were too hot to notice at first and we'd already left before the drinks cooled down enough to realize we'd only gotten hot milk.

Luisa E.

Yelp
Loved this spot! Very decently priced and even serve their sandwiches on gluten free bread. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was tasty! Lovely little shaded patio to sit and leisurely eat your lunch...just watch out for the marmots. They're not afraid to come right up to you. This was our first time to Sundance and we're already itching to get back there to explore some more. And maybe come prepared to eat at the fancy tea room :)

James R.

Yelp
A good place to eat on you're on the go snd when you're in at sundance. I just wouldn't go out of my way to 'dine' here. Its good, but not great.

Nissa R.

Yelp
We love this place. We are so lucky as public that Robert Redford has opened his home to us and allows us the healing peace that accompanies every visit. The food is top notch and delicious worth every penny. Grab a sandwich or snack on your way to or from a hike or visit here. I highly encourage a visit to this deli or one of the dining restaurants here at least once.

Cristina O.

Yelp
We came by after ziplining to grab a snack. We got the kids sandwiches and they were okay. The bread was pretty dry. When I picked up my sandwich I asked if it had Mayo on it just to double check. The guy gave me a snarky "yeah?" When we got outside to eat I wished there was more Mayo to balance how dry the bread was. My friend went inside to grab me some more and came back out to tell me that the employee was talking bad about us and how we wanted sour sandwiches when she went inside. Wish it was a better experience.

Tara R.

Yelp
Loved eating a light dinner here with my family. Salad was great along with the smoothies and chocolate milkshake. Sitting outside in the summer here is surreal. Cool breeze in the shade with the stream that goes right by your table. My favorite place to spend a slow evening in the summer.

Kelly J.

Yelp
We had lunch here today. Ordered 6 sandwiches and two smoothies. The food was just ok. We love the Foundry Grill but the Deli needs to step it up. Lots of room for improvement.

Leigh A.

Yelp
We all decided to grab sandwiches here hungover, and the BLT was pretty bad, and the chicken salad sandwich was just okay. So much could be improved!

Jarem F.

Yelp
Fast, easy, and fair. I love the turkey BLT with Avocados instead of tomato, and I always have them make a custom Italian Soda for me.

Denise W.

Yelp
Sooo overated and overpriced. $13.00 for a tuna sandwich?? which consisted of 2 small pieces of bread, soggy lettuce and mayo, and a tiny thin spread of tuna fish, not even 1/4" thick. So many more beautiful fabulous places to go in Utah. Hiked the Stewart Falls trail, poorly marked and poorly maintained. Fairly certain I never need to go back to the Sundance Deli again.

Alexis A.

Yelp
Love love love the deli...until they got rid of the BLT. I recommended this place to so many friends based solely on the BLT experience. Would be a 5-star establishment, but they lost their main act. I kid you not when I say this is the best BLT in this galaxy. The most perfect, thick cut bacon, perfectly placed between at least 4 inches of homemade sourdough. The tomatoes were the perfect sidekick to the bacon. They were unassuming, with just the right amount of flavor. No one pays attention to the L in a BLT but it was a great complementary ingredient. Anyway, BRING BACK THE BLT SUNDANCE.
