"Thefriendly vibe at Delly Deck makes island eateryan ideal spot for celebrating special occasions or just grabbing breakfast or lunch with friends and family. Considered by locals to be a landmark (it's been around for 40years!), Delly Deck has a solid breakfast menu, witha range of omelet choices and standard but tasty lunch selections such assandwiches, wraps, salads, and burgers. Cocktails—frozen and not—as well as beer and wine are on offer, though you probably can't get into too much trouble before the 4 p.m. closing time."

We stopped by the #DellyDeck on the way to the airport on our last day on St. Thomas. Food was hot and fresh, Service was excellent. Good option to get a meal before you head for home.

We stopped here on our way back to the airport for breakfast and I ordered the French toast, bacon, eggs and toast. They gave me a lot of bacon. More than I could eat. My cheese eggs were VERY cheesy and my French toast was good. I also ordered a caramel macchiato but it tasted like it was made out of a machine. I didn't enjoy it. The local was perfect, right by all the shops and the service was very nice. It was good for a good, quick, American breakfast.

Google
The breakfast was okay! My husband had the Philly sandwich it was really good! But the fries were a little soggy and they charged a lot. We were not too happy with the food or the service ,the waitress was like rushing when we were ordering and then they added gratuity when it was just us and our 2 small kids(3&2) . They charged extra for cheese on a scrambled eggs. The hash browns were really greasy tasted the grease as I was eating it. The kids had pancakes and they had no flavor and cold A lot of the food items were a little over priced. We don’t usually leave reviews like this but this was tough. The portion of food to the price we paid, didn’t make sense we paid $80 for all of us 4 2 adults and 2 kids under 3 and they shared a plate

Breakfast was great. Only complaint is with the oily potatoes. Quick and friendly service. They got American and Caribbean options for the locals and visitors.

My sister and I went to dine here on a Sunday morning. They were slightly busy and as we walked up the server told us to pick anywhere to sit. We sat at the bar and waited over 15 minutes with not even a greeting. A server with black and red locs came over to the bar twice and never acknowledged us, asked if we wanted a menu, or even looked in our direction. The second time she came over, took a sip of water about 2 feet from us and then walked off. There were at least 2 other servers walking around and no one even asked if we wanted a menu or even a glass of water. We ended up leaving because of the poor service which is a shame because we were both excited to eat the local breakfast of Johnny cakes and salt fish. Unfortunately, I cannot accurately rate this establishment on the taste of the food, just the poor service.

Google
Only go if you have and extra 2 hours, seriously. We got a table outside and it took at least 30 minutes for someone to come over and the only reason she came over was to get a menu. After we placed our order the food took long but it was to be expected after waiting so long just I be seen. The waitress seemed like she was training a younger girl and she did a great job. The food was good and I would eat there again but only when you have nothing else to do.

Food was very yummy. Service was slow. They definitely could have used a few more people on the shift.

Google
The restaurant is located in Havensight near the cruise ship dock where there was indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the fact that I can get"bush tea" lemongrass, there. It was delicious but the food was just okay. I opted for the steak and eggs which I asked for it to be cooked medium but it was well done. I was looking forward to more of like an island style breakfast but that was not the case.

Sharon A.

Yelp
Friendly service and I enjoyed my breakfast! The french toast was very tasty! I'd eat here again.

Chris B.

Yelp
Went there with my family for lunch. Food was ok, the waitress Mary said the printer was broken so they couldn't print the receipt. She included a 20% service charge on our order which she did not tell us about. Tipped her on top of that. When I received the emailed receipt 30 minutes later I saw the 20% charge. Plenty of other places on island to go to. Skip this one.
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch during our time off the boat. Mary is our waitress, she's very nice. To drink I got the Caribbean Romance and he got the Pain Killer. We both god BLTs and fries for lunch. He got his BLT about 30 minutes before I did, he had been done for a while when mine got served. Very slow service.

Yelp
Back in the day Delly Deck was "a must " when visiting St. Thomas. It saddens me to say this will be my last dining experience here as the quality of food is below standards, the wait is too long and the service... let's just say it left me shaking my head. I will say this tho... the staff appear to be doing their best. Thank you for that
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
My family and I ate here nearly every day while we were in St. Thomas. They are also one of the few brunch spots open on Sundays. The saltfish and Johnny cake breakfast on the weekends is absolutely delicious. My kids especially loved the pancakes. They were scrumptious!
google avatar

Rouben B.

Yelp
Very very slow service. Omelette came out 15-20 minutes before my girlfriend's salad. Food was ok. Mediocre place. 2.5-3 stars.
google avatar

Sheila N.

Yelp
We have been to St. Thomas several times - and on this day, a group of three of us went to this place since we wanted to try something new. Paid roughly $40 for three people. Had the best BLT and side salad and that is the reason I will be returning just to have it again on our next cruise.
google avatar

Yelp
Had better service! The food was great the place was clean! Enjoy the view and enjoy the food!! Grab a drink while you're there! Breakfast is fabulous!

Yelp
Upon arrival, the ambiance is nothing special, however, the service is really good, and the server met all our needs, and was very attentive and communicative. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, the hashbrowns were crispy and delicious, bacon was crispy and tasty, and the coffee taste great. Really good food, really good service. Prices are also reasonable.
google avatar

Frances M.

Yelp
We visited the spot, as all of the restaurants were closed on Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised with the good service and delicious food. We had Two eggs, toas,t pancakes, and hashbrowns. It was all very delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the pancake was buttery and soft.

Yelp
Well the food was ok... it's a nice little place to go if you're getting off a cruise ship for the day. But do not be short on time. As with any island no one is in a hurry and you will wait to get everything. I just stuck with safe food.... a pancake and home fries. They do have coke products which was great because I'm sick of Pepsi! Not a fan, lol. People are friendly and like I said it's a good spot for a meal before shopping or an excursion. So don't be in a rush and order simple foods. Give it a try.

Yelp
Great food and good ambiance! I went here with friends around 8:30 AM on a Saturday and there was plenty of inside and outside seating. We decided inside for the AC. Once we sat down we immediately got service and had plenty of time to look over the menus. I will say service was very slow and we waited about an hour after ordering food for it to arrive. Which seems a bit long for breakfast foods. I went with friends so we didn't mind waiting. Plus everything is a bit slower on the island. I got french toast, bacon, and a coke and it ran me about $15. The french toast was good, nothing special. I would have liked more bacon but it was nice and crispy. The coke was well carbonated. My friends got the salt fish, strawberry cheesecake pancakes, grits, etc., everything looked and smelled really good. For being reasonably priced and the food quality was good, I'd definitely come back and try some of their non-breakfast items. There was plenty of parking, especially being on a corner. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Service was the worst. Sorry to say the server seemed to 1 either be knew where she was just flustered or 2 just wasn't trained well. She kept dealing with other tables that wasn't ready and for those who were she would actually say I will be back. Which to me doesn't make sense. The pancakes- they were tuff and undercooked. It had a taste of dough that wasn't mixed properly. Eggs- was cooked as requested. Bacon- was hard and I'm not sure why it was super salty. It's as if they added salt to the bacon.

Yelp
The waitress seems overwhelmed. The service was very slow. Had to remind her of the waters and coffee. Asked for Johnny cake and salt fish 1 hour later she comes back and says they are out of salt fish. ( things happen it's ok) However, when leaving I saw her deliver an order behind us and also give a man a to-go order of salt fish directly next to me.
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. It was a little busy when we went but we still got hot food and good service. Next time I'm in St Thomas I'll definitely be going back.
google avatar

Steven K.

Yelp
Had a breakfast and lunch here. The food was very good, but the service was a little slow, but friendly. Salmon omelette and Caesar salad were very good, as was their eggs Benedict. Outside tables and ample parking. Right next to a large collection of stores full of jewelry and tourist goods.
google avatar

Yelp
Not worth the time or money. We ate out of convenience but the food, service, and cleanliness left A LOT to be desired. The food was average american bar food that was overpriced. The side salad was shredded iceberg from a bag with some canned diced tomatoes. The place looks like it's falling down inside and out, floors were sticky and slippery all at the same time and it took over an hour to get our food with two other people in the restaurant. Island time must be a real thing.
google avatar

Rosa B.

Yelp
One of the best place to catch a nice traditional breakfast on island. They have a diverse menu. The drinks and smoothies are good. I love the pancakes ! They are amazing. I feel like it's a bit overpriced for the food.

Thomas G.

Yelp
If you like/love Reuben sandwiches do not order here, the meat is like leather. Every bite I took was very chewy and had to eventually spit it into a napkin. Asked the barely can speak English waiter about it and he said that's how it is(I never had a Reuben like that lol). It's the not caring for me.
google avatar

Miguel Q.

Yelp
There is bad service and there was Delly Deck. Went there for breakfast on a busy day and had to wait an hour to get drinks even though we were waited on by 3 different people who took our orders and didn't come back. The staff was friendly but didn't care to deliver. Their tips are safe because gratuity is included regardless of the size of the party. The quality of the dishes was inconsistent but not bad. I don't think our party will return.
google avatar

Sha S.

Yelp
Our favorite breakfast stop in St. Thomas. We got the Eggs Benedict and some French toast and it was so yummy. Their prices are also cheap, I think $8-$10 for a plate. The service was also quick. Everything was delicious, right down to their orange juice.
google avatar

Jeremy B.

Yelp
Food: huge menu, decent food, comparable to standard diner food. Service: slowwwww AF! Can we say AF on Yelp? Atmosphere: non-existent. Place is kinda odd, half outside, half inside...inside looks like a seedy dive bar while outside is like a patio on a parking lot.

Lisa S.

Yelp
The services suck at Delly Deck you sit and wait and wait and wait and wait. You will wait at lease 20min before you get serve. So if your in a rush don't come here for lunch. The waiter and waitress look like they don't even know what to do they're scrambling all over. We left and went next door to Great Wall. We waited 25 minutes in all for no one to come take your order.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
Rude waitstaff. The male waiter seemed offended by the fact that I was speaking to him instead of my husband. Service was slow. The food made us feel ill afterwards. Stay away.
google avatar

Francis C.

Yelp
Great, cheap food. Nice service. Nothing amazing. But definitely a good place to stop but if you need to just get a quick new or are on your way in/out of the area Other than that, id say wait and find a good spot to make it worth it.
google avatar

Natasha M.

Yelp
Great service at Delly Deck. My family and I went for breakfast to have a traditional Caribbean breakfast with a side of waffles. If you have a chance go by, the food is delicious and service is quick.

Yelp
I'll just start off with, speed isn't something that is done here, but yummy breakfast is. The first time we decided on breakfast at this restaurant, upon walking in, even before sitting down we were told three times that it would be at least an hour wait for food.....OK......is that the polite way of telling us you don't want our business? It was even reaffirmed after sitting down, twice, that it would be an hour, luckily we didn't have anything going on that day so, we could wait. If you can get over the wait, you'll be ok here, if not, find another breakfast joint. We've been here a few times afterwards and the wait times for food has decreased. During the slow season (August-December) Delly Deck is one of the only places open for breakfast, which contributes to the wait time. The blueberry pancakes and vegetable omelette are our go to items. Pancakes taste like they have fresh blueberries in them, the omelet is always well cooked and stuffed with so many veggies, and both dishes are hearty and a generous portion if you're starving (and you might be with the wait). Service, outside of the wait time for food, is quite friendly and responsive, except from the younger server (there are only three servers for the place, that we have ever seen). She forgets to bring you things, like coffee, and utensils, which are kind of important for breakfast. Overall, I can't go above three stars for this restaurant, because you need to go in with patience and the expectation that getting food takes some time. The food carries the three stars (you get the value for your $$) and the fact that there is ample free parking right in front of the place. I think the delays come from the kitchen, because the restaurant isn't that packed when we've been there. If they got it together it would be a much better morning experience! #breakfast in #St.Thomas #USVI

Yelp
Great breakfast food and service!! Lynn was the sweetest server we have had in a long time. Definitely recommend
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
It was a great place to get a hearty breakfast. Fast service with the STRONGEST Bushwhacker on the island . It's in Havensight near the Pirate ‍ treasure museum. I would recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Easy parking!!! Had a nice breakfast. Outdoor and indoor seating. Appreciated the lighter option of an egg white omelette with homemade sourdough bread

Darah F.

Yelp
Doesn't look like anything, but when you come closer it looks wonderful! It is cool but. it does not have everything it needs to be a 5star place. If you go there, there will be great food.

Yelp
We came in at 11:30 am. We were given a table that was dirty (dishes and all) and had to wait 10 minutes for it to be cleaned. Then another 10 minutes for anyone to bring menus, etc. And then it got worse. We were finally able to order (and yes, it was sort of busy - not swamped, but steady so I wasn't too upset because I've been a server and a bartender before) and after 45 minutes got our first drink. Long story, short: we got a second drink 1 1/2 hours after we arrived, but still no food. Three tables who arrived well after us had already ordered, been served, and eaten by the time our food arrived. When I inquired about it and offered to order another drink directly from the bartender while we waited I was told that there were other orders ahead of us and me trying to order directly wouldn't make it happen any quicker - all while she was rolling silverware and joking with her friends. Food finally arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes after we ordered. I was hopeful that that it would be worth the wait. Spoiler alert: it was not. And it's too much to fully explain why. My recommendation: go to the grocery store, buy breakfast ingredients, cook, eat, then clean the kitchen and you will still have a better and quicker experience than we did. If I could give this restaurant 0 or even -1 stars, I would. Looking back, we should have left and not continued waiting. But we like to patronize local small business and try to be understanding that COVID has negatively affected many places. This, however, was inexcusable and we will not be back. Not ever. And we will not hesitate to discourage it to anyone who asks. Save your sanity. Go somewhere else.

Yelp
This is always a great place for breakfast. The food is terrific and as the rest of the island, the service is well... be patient. Not much of a view as they are situated in the Havensite parking lot but people watching can be fun if you sit out on the covered porch. The location is quite convenient and parking is usually not an issue. Walking here from the cruise ship dock at WICO is very easy if you find yourself looking for breakfast or lunch off the ship. No idea why you'd do that when your free meal is 100 yards away but you could. I recommend the eggs Benedict and try some local hot sauce while you're at it.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
We took cover here during a quick downpour while visiting St. Thomas and decided to have a drink. The service was very slow and the server looked like she really wanted to go home. She had no conversational skills and wasn't very friendly. We only had one drink each and that was enough to know that we could find better elsewhere. I suggest finding another spot to wet your whistle. We left unimpressed and went about our day on the island.
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
Can you bring this place to the states ? Amazing !!!!!!!! We order over half of your breakfast menu and everything was so tasty ! The Johnny cakes were pipping hot and delicious ! They also serve grits and cream of wheat ! Fruit punch and pineapple juice was the best. Sit outside under fans or inside with A/c. Bathrooms were tidy and service with a smile !!
google avatar

Kiera M.

Yelp
The restraunt has very very slow service. I arrived here at 10:30 am and finally got my food at 11:45. If your willing to wait come here but I would say no just due to the service. Also when you walk in it's not a nice smell.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot to grab breakfast or lunch located at the edge of Havensite shopping center in town. Not so great visit this particular time unfortunately not so much due to the food as that came out well, but the service was awful. It was Sunday and after church so they were busy. Plus add a pandemic to the mix and spaced out tables which complicates things further. They have outdoor and indoor seating, we wanted outdoor. Well I had been waiting for about 10 minutes to be seated and another party had arrived behind me, and they were approached first which was annoying but they were nice enough to indicate I was there first. I advised how many were in our party and the server pointed to a four top (we had 6) we said it could work as we could add a chair and my little one could sit on my lap. They seated us, took our drink and food order and that was that. Well we were then approached by I guess what was a manager advising we couldn't sit there and had to move inside as there was a table that could accommodate us there. My mother in law didn't want to move and it took some convincing from us because we were hungry and at that point A whatever. Apparently we were in the way but truly it could have worked. We begrudgingly moved inside, got our drinks, and I think 45 minutes to an hour had passed by the time we got our food. Oh, and I got mine about 10 minutes after everyone else, so good timing wasn't great. My mother in law was also pretty upset that they didn't advise her they were out of the dressing that comes with the salad she ordered which is why she gets that salad...the quickest they were was to clean the tables while we were still seated at them. All in all, not great. Again, food was just okay nothing to write home about.

Yelp
If you come for breakfast, get ready for lunch because that's how long it will take to get your food. Everything runs at about the speed of smell. The food was mediocre at best. They automatically charge 18% for groups of 4+. Only on the island with a steady stream of tourists can a place like this exist. Anywhere else it would fold in a heartbeat. Sadly, this seems to be a common theme (now on vacation day 3 of 8). Best advice is to stay at a place w a kitchen and do your own grocery shopping and cooking. Enjoy the sand and sun but dining is just awful.
google avatar

Karen P.

Yelp
The food was actually pretty good at this breakfast spot. unfortunately it took about an hour before they brought it to us. Not only was the server NOT apologetic, but she rolled her eyes and sighed loudly whenever she communicated with us. The whole experience was extremely uncomfortable
google avatar

april l.

Yelp
The food was average but our server was not friendly at all. I don't mind that it's a little slower but at least speak when handing me my food or say something when bringing the ticket.
google avatar

Lynita B.

Yelp
The service here is horrible. My husband and I waited over an hour for omelets. The servers do not offer you seating nor do they even come over to your table to ask if you need anything. I'm not sure how the food taste bc we left before the food even came out and the place was not busy AT ALL!!! If I could I would give them zero stars.

Mark P.

Yelp
Have always loved this place. Service is sometimes a little on the slow side but once you know that it is fine because the food is good and worth the wait. What I did not expect was to be harassed by a white female anti covid vaccination member of staff who was spreading dangerous propaganda. Not good.
google avatar

Penny P.

Yelp
Listen to the other reviews! DO NOT EXPECT QUICK SERVICE HERE OR EVEN GOOD SERVICE. I'm a patient person but it took over 30 min to get 2 cups of water, we ordered and took almost an hour to get our food. With slow service it would've been appreciated if the service was great but that was not the case. At least acknowledging that the food will take awhile or apologize for the slowness. NOPE!! None of that. I don't mind the automatic gratuity at all but when it comes to service like this, it's absolutely not fair because they don't deserve the 18%. If you really want to eat here then you better allow probably 2-3 hours to eat. At the end we literally had to ask for them to put it in takeout boxes and bring the check because we really couldn't sit and wait any longer. The guy we had as our server didn't even apologize or anything when he brought out the food. I went up to pay and he just brought it out and set it in front of me and didn't say a word, not one sorry or anything at all. Absolutely just disgusted. Never again! Though I do want to give praise to the other guy who was working the bar area was more attentive to us than our actual server and communicated our orders to our server. I feel bad for him, he seemed to be the only person who understands what customer service means.

Marie C.

Yelp
Great local spot for breakfast, but don't be in any hurry. Service is very slow but it's a lovely outdoor deck in the shopping area.
google avatar

Alexa L.

Yelp
Don't come here if you want a quick breakfast. The food was pretty good, but the service was so slllooowwww. It took forever for us to be waited on, then took a while for our food to come out, and then we were barely checked on. Once we finally got the check, it took about 10 minutes to get our card back.
google avatar

Jonathan V.

Yelp
Ordered the Irish Bennie for breakfast. It was an eggs benedict, with corn beef hash under the eggs, with hash browns on the side. I wasn't expecting much, since it's located right beside of the port, but it exceeded my expectations. This breakfast was filling, and tasted great.

Yelp
We came here to the Delly Deck the other day for lunch after diving because we knew a ship wasn't in and we figured there wouldn't be many people around...BINGO! Hit it at the perfect time, there were only about 2 other parties in the restaurant and we pretty much had the place to ourselves! We felt like sandwiches and wanted to try something new, and we were both happy we did! Their menu is large, they have sandwiches, burgers, and amazingly serve breakfast all day! My husband got an omelette, and I chose the Cuban sandwich. The atmosphere here is nice, its in a little corner of Havensight tucked away right before the hill to go to the Marriott. We enjoyed the nice outdoor seating while waiting for our food, and they also have a couple TV's so you can catch up on the news if you are like us and don't have cable...well our food came out quickly, which was great, and it was very good! My Cuban was actually awesome, came on a panini and had just the perfect amount of pork to ham to cheese to mustard to pickle ratio...I loved it! Very tasty and I would definitely order it again! I also got coleslaw and it was good as well, and I broke down and got fries too and they were really good also. My husband really liked his omelette as well, and of course helped me with my fries! And lastly a small detail that I was excited about: they use House Recipe ketchup! I love this ketchup, I think it has great flavor and tastes way better than other brands....so yes, I had to order fries to go with this wonderful condiment. Anyway, I was stoked about it. So yes, next time we are in Havensight, we will most likely hit up Delly Deck again, they had great food, and the service was also good, the young man that waited on us was really attentive and very nice and friendly...a great experience all around!

Yelp
Mediocre food and service. It took 20mins for my boyfriends food to come out and nobody noticed i didn't get mine, even though the orders were placed at the same time. Server brought our coffees to another table. Then forgot to bring my juice and charged us for two. The food was pretty basic.
