Nice staff and ambience, in a heritage building converted into a trendy creative place. Would be a good place to work from the coffee is an in-house roast and is good. A bit too sour of a blend for iced black to my taste but was decent in the 'Berg' coffee with coconut milk that they offer (albeit sugar and creaminess make most stuff palatable). On the pricier side for Metro Manila coffee but not too mahal. Food looks good but yet to try. Definitely a good spot I would return to and bring friends.

Coffee is just okay, nothing special. But i love the location of the coffee shop. I love the ambiance but a bit crowded when we went there in the afternoon. I like that the shop is surrounded by plenty of stores promoting creativity and art.

The Den is tucked inside the art shops at First United Building’s ground floor, giving it a cool, hidden vibe. The staff were really friendly and approachable. The interior has a mix of wood and industrial design. I only tried the latte, so I can’t say much about the other coffee options. The free 2-hour Wi-Fi was a bonus—I managed to get some work done while I was there.

While exploring Binondo, my fiancé and I stopped by a local coffee shop. Their iced latte was good, but the pasta we ordered didn't meet our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the café's relaxed atmosphere made it a pleasant place to unwind, talk, and rest. With its multiple power outlets and they even have extension cords, it's an ideal spot for remote workers! I love it. Will make sure to stop by this place again once I'm back in the area.

We recently visited The Den coffee shop, and while the ambiance impressed us, the drinks left much to be desired. Drinks: • The matcha we ordered was disappointing, as it tasted overwhelmingly of milk with almost no matcha flavor. At P165, we expected a better balance. • The iced latte was very ordinary, lacking any distinct or memorable flavor. Priced at P130, it didn’t feel worth it. • Even The Berg’s Signature Latte, which we were excited to try, fell flat. It tasted like a regular latte, missing any unique or standout elements one would expect from a signature drink. At P185, it was the most expensive but equally underwhelming. Ambiance: Where The Den truly shines is in its aesthetics. The warm, comfy, hippie vibe of the space is perfect for relaxing or

the coffee was really good, i got their special berg's! the grilled cheese is not a croissant, still really good with sourdough! but i ordered it for the croissant so i just wished they notified me that it wasn't a croissant anymore while ordering because it still say croissant on the menu and on their pictures promoting the sandwhich. it was pricy for a sandwich too (tastes good but i was craving the croissant specifically). wifi is only for two hours (but i think if u order again theyll give u another one?) and they have plugs. i wasnt sat near a wall with available plugs but they were veey attentive and helped me use the floor socket. the servers were very kind! the restroom is out another door but they look after your things. there's a lot of cute shops outside the cafe too!

My new go-to at The Den Their Manila Sunset is a must-try! A spiced orange coffee that’s bold, refreshing, and just the right mix of citrus and coffee. Follow my IG: @marasiganjayr, for more cafe recommendations

Highly Recommended: this is definitely the Best Coffee Shop in Binondo Area and possibly the whole Tondo Area too. All pastas are amazing, all coffees are great, ambience is great. They use good equipment and beans. Connecting shop Escolta Coffee Company also sells the coffee beans they use, drip coffee powder also available. The den’s specialty is really coffee, don’t recommend the non-coffee drinks, tried them all and kinda tastes weird IMO. Con: they close at 6PM! They have great food so it would be great if they are open until 10PM Budget: I don’t understand why others find it super expensive, def cheaper than Starbucks, for within P500 you get good coffee and good filling food, the prices are justifiable imo Others: this is not a lounge type cafe, good for 2 hours stay max, since it’s located at The Hub people who frequent this cafe are mostly involved in creatives or are having a quick coffee break from the offices above. Quite a busy place but I don’t find the people at the counter rude at all. Maybe people are just super used to Starbucks treatment. Free wifi for two hours, ask for the voucher code after ordering.

Yelp
A hole in the wall coffee shop that can be found in Escolta's Hub Make Lab. The menu is in fact interesting and I went for the Berg's paired with Toast topped with Nutella Spread. Fell in love with the grilled cheese with tomato dip. The quality of the bread is good and the cheese is just as great. The store provides a QR Code for contact tracing upon entry and body temp is also being identified. they provide a paperbag for the mask and each table is marked for social distancing.
